Great music and great food. I really enjoyed their Cajun fries. Their lemonade is really good too. I had their shrimp and clams. Food all gone! Happy camper.

Went in and no greetings. You order through a Kiosk, ok cool. Price of the food is kinda expensive… They charge $3.50 for one single egg and they demonstrated a picture of 3 eggs so I was assuming that’s what I was getting NOT just 1 egg. Snow crab was whatever $36 for HALF a snow crab. For some reason they gave me a bag w sausage ( I hate sausage) so I wasn’t aware it came w that since I had just ordered half a pound of just peeled shrimp. The shrimp were over cooked and the sauce they use was a bit confusing because I asked for super spicy and the mixture of their “Boil Daddy” sauce. It was ok and not spicy. The bag also came with 3 potatoes, 2 sausages, &1 corn. They charged $3.50 for a cup of white rice which wasn’t entirely full. They gave no utensils to open up the snow crab so I used my mouth lol. They also don’t give salt n pepper. The waiter would disappear to the back so there wasn’t anyone checking up to see if the food was okay or if we needed something. Overall I was expecting something better and idk it was like 6.5/10 for me, I usually like leaving tips for the waiter and kitchen but honestly it didn’t seem appropriate cause I wasn’t amazed at the quality of service and food.

Absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece — fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and beautifully presented.

Clean medium size eatery where you can either dine in or take out. You can either order your meal from a regular menu or from an electronic menu, which is the cheaper way to do so. The prices are different. Food is cooked to order. Music videos are playing on a flat screen on the wall while waiting on your oder. The food is pretty good. Parking is available outside of the establishment.

The food was amazingly good and delicious. My wife and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary 💕 and will most definitely be going back. We loved it. I Don't know her name but the lady at the counter was exceptional 👌🏽 because of Her we will be returning for sure

YOU HAVE A TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICES I REALLY HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE. THEY HAD MY ORDER WRONG I WENT BACK HOPING TO GET MY ORDER CHANGE. I GOT THERE AND THE EMPLOYES TREATED ME BAD AND GAVE ME ATTITUDE ALSO I WANTED MY MONEY BACK AND THEH DIDNT WANT TO SO I ASKED FOR THE MANAGER NUMBER AND NAME AND ALSO ASKED FOR THE EMPLOYEES NAME BUT GOT IGNORE. SO I WALKED OUT BECAUSE THEY SAID TO COME BACK TOMORROW. THE NEXT DAY I WENT AND THEY SAID THE MANAGER IS NOT HERE AND I STILL HAVENT GOT MY MONEH BACK. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH PEOPLE THERE.

This place is a few blocks from my house, I've passed by hundreds of times and I've never thought to stop by. Well, first time for everything. My wife and I decided to give it a try and we were glad we did! Friday night, we didn't wait long for a table. We enjoyed the shrimp, boiled eggs, corn on the cobs with their "daddy sauce", and added a 6pc wing order. Ambiance was great, music in the background. They currently don't sell alcohol but from what they said it's on the way, that'll be the cherry on top, at least for me.

HORRIBLE. FOOD WAS BAD BAD BAD. I ordered peeled shrimp with Cajun sauce ONLY. imagine my surprise when my shrimp were SMOTHERED in garlic. My whole home smells like garlic. THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Not to mention the shrimp are overcooked and the fries are soggy.

Honestly... This pissed me off so bad that I don't even want to say anything on this review other than it wasn't good. I got the "daddy's shrimp bowl. The potato had no flavor whatsoever. The shrimp was bland as well and underwhelming. The rice kind of gave me the ick, and the only thing I actually liked was the sausage. They also give you one small slice of lemon on the side. I was looking forward to trying the sauce the reviews are talking about, but I don't think I received it. They did however pile on a whole bunch of (what I assume is) creole/cajun seasoning that did absolutely nothing for the dish. Wouldn't eat here again. Waste of $27.

My friends and I were in the area and decided to grab a quick bite at The Boil Daddy before our paint night event. Although they're known for Cajun Seafood, I was craving wings after seeing the menu! I ordered for myself (way too much) the Dry Daddy Wings $17. The wings were fried just right - the meat was juicy and the batter on the outside had the perfect crisp. They were generous with the portion of crispy french fries on the side, too. My friend got the Wet Daddy Wings (boneless) $17 and she loved it as well! We also ordered the Street Daddy Corns $13 to share. Imagine battered corn sprinkled with Cajun seasoning and topped with Parmesan - delicious! I never had corn on the cob all fried and seasoned like this so this was a fun treat! My other friend got their Crispy Mahalo Shrimp $18 with rice and a side of Mac and Cheese. We had a little bit of everything so I got to try a variety of dishes between the three of us - needless to say, we're sold to come back for another round! Overall, the Boil Daddy delivered the goods and some more. I was a happy gal with lots of leftovers to take home! I will definitely be back with more friends!

I come here for the seafood boil, but they have some other pretty options on their menu. I mostly order through door dash since they have deals online & sometimes placing in person orders can take a while. Haven't dined in yet, but i plan to because it's never too crowded whenever I'm there to pick-up my orders & it's always so chill/quiet inside which I like very much. You have to get the daddy sauce on your seafood boil. I also love the fried shrimp too. Everything has so much flavor!

My recent visit to Boil Daddy left me utterly satisfied! The seafood boil was simply divine, bursting with freshness and flavor. Each bite was a delight, and the Daddy sauce added the perfect kick to elevate the experience.

The food was great definitely for the regular without the added sauce you definitely should just include the sauce you know just FYI. If you're looking for a cheap seafood place that offers seafood boil, then this is your best option in downtown LA. I can at least say that much and another thing You definitely need to get a soda machine because cans aren't gonna cut it. The service was good, but definitely could use some work. I will definitely be coming back here. I hope to see you this place grow have high expectations for this spot. The location a little sketched out, but not too much to worry .

It was delicious. glad they have this type of food in DTLA. Wish they came with gloves as other restaurants provide when you serve shrimps or crabs, I would definitely order again from this place.

Personally, Oh My Crab is my favorite seafood boil spot, but Boil daddy was closer to me, so I wanted to give them a try. The place was clean & empty, however the customer service was dull and not inviting. When I walked in, it was almost like "what are you doing here?" kinda vibe from the employees. I had to order on a kiosk which was fine because it had pictures. I'm assuming the person who gave me my food didn't speak English which was crazy. Now on to the food... 0/10. I got the sausage, shrimp, & potatoes over rice. It was around $20 so that's why I also chose this place. The Cajun sauce was so lackluster & SOUR. It was just weird. It wasn't juicy or tasty. Just a big glob of spices put together. My rice was hard. Shrimp tasted frozen. Sausage didn't taste like the right one for a boil, if that makes sense. All in all, I'd personally stick to Oh My Crab... no flavor or good customer service. They won't get my money again.

I made a delivery order through doordash. I got headon shrimps and mussle in mixed sauce, spicy! The food was tasty, cooked perfect but wish it was bit more saucy. Also wished they had garlic noodle to mix with!

Not only is the food amazing but the customer service is top notch too. You gotta try this place. The crab cake sliders are to die for. Thank me later.

Oh man this place was soooo disappointing. Out on a Saturday night and craving seafood boil and saw this place on yelp.. im expecting a restaurant maybe not the nicest but Ive seen taco bells nicer than this place. This is definitely not an eat in place, the workers looked at me and my daughter like "why are you guys here..." lol. I did not want to travel outward but wish I had, spent 100 dollars on fast food sea boil lol oh man. I had high expectations considering the reviews said the food was good. And as me and my daughter sat we saw about 4 huge rats running around the front of the establishment. I mean this is LA, we have rats people.... Sure Ive never seen them freely run out in the open like that while lights are on and people are around.... pretty strange. Probably a huge infestation tbh. Definitely think twice about this place.

I got 8 bad clams and 3 edible clams in my order. Ruined the experience for me having inedible food. Flavor and the original, non spicy sauce was great. I even dipped some of my fries in it and they tasted great.

Owner was nice but place was under construction. Very hot inside and was not authentic seafood boil. Sauce was very limited in bag and mussels were very small and tasted like Walmart frozen mussels. Giving three stars only because the customers service was friendly. But they need to step their game up.

I'll give the seafood 5 stars but I do want to give tips to improve quality of food. I love the sauce that sets on top of the seafood, I personally ordered the spicy Cajun sauce. Now the sauce tasted a little sweet but it wasn't nothing some Old Bay couldn't fix. The amount of food given was definitely filling. I got a pound of head on shrimp and a crab cluster. Overall the food was okay, I would just desire more seasoning to marinate the food. I would definitely try this place again. It definitely gave what it was supposed to give! Thanks Boil Daddy!

They serve rotten mussels. You're supposed to check if the clams/mussels are fresh or not (easy way if you actually know how to do it). They serve unregulated fish that will make you sick would not recommend -an actual chef

The customer service is the best they even offered me free rice maybe cause of my look yuh never know And the food is good but if we comparing it to like boiling crab or kickin crab i mean come on but the food is still good especially so i really consider eating here. Yesssahhhh.

Thankfully the serve 1/2 pounds so you can get a quick and affordable bite! The prices are great, the place is clean, spacious and has parking, the food is tasty, and always great customer service. I have no complaints. So glad they opened up in the area.

I think I would've enjoyed this place more if I would've gone with a different friend, who was more into seafood I loved everything about it

It's a scam business, they have multiple Uber eats shops open under different names , same exact menu.

The food and service here is amazing and very flavorful. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves seafood boils to try this place. The daddy mix sauce is amazing.

Hi there, Last night, I was asked to pick up and order from this establishment. To my shock as my husband and I drove into the small parking lot , we saw a large rat, at the curb, in front of the business. As we turned the car around, ...we saw another rat in going behind the palm tree, another on the other side of the parking lot, and another dragging something from the ground ..basically every where we turned, we saw large vermin, feeding from the trash along side the restaurant, ....which obviously prevented us from getting out of the car. We drove away as fast as possible. The thought that they doing business under such unsanitary and deplorable conditions is frightening.

Had this for the first time via @ubereats last night. I did the buy 1 get one free deal. I did head on shirmp and mussels. I did the garlicky butter sauce omg it was a garlic overload lol but it was so good I couldn't stop eating it they're diced in a butter sauce. My son never had mussels and enjoyed it. He didn't care for the head on shrimp lol so I'll pay the extra for peeled next time. It was alottttt for two people and a super great price!! We had alot left over. It came fastttttt and it was packaged in small boxes that were sturdy. The bags filled with goodness was inside!!

I really love the shrimp boil and the Cajun fries! I don't think I've gotten anything else other than that! I really like them because they're close and convenient. Awesome prices as well. I get delivery or I get pick up. It is a small place so I have dined in there before. But the people working there are always nice and get my order in quickly.

Usually I don't leave reviews but this place is a NOOO!! I can tell why it's busy because they don't have many competitors around and they close at 12 but I definitely won't be back I rather wait the line for Boiling Crab and pay whatever than eat here. Service sucks the lady in the front doesn't know their own products and very rude. Food was ehh I had bad clams that weren't open got Shrimp with heads on & I love sucking the juice from it but they all tasted nasty. The sauce wasn't bad but food wise ehh. We saw a rat pass by which is disgusting and very unsanitary makes you question if the place doesn't have rats itself. Save your money and time just go eat somewhere else.

Do not order from this place, very careless handling money with your food . Ordered delivery from Grubhub and had a successful delivery. Bag was very sealed with sticker on the box so I know it was not the delivery driver. Once I open the bag and placed the food into the carton box there was a penny inside my food!!!! Yes a penny (as you can see on the photo) very old and dirty looking penny . I have tried calling them several times and emailed them twice and no reply . Poor costumer service !!

Second time ordering from here and have not been disappointed. Flavors are great portions are PERFECT add on items and prices reasonable and service is great I accidentally made a mistake on my order via Uber Eats so I called the store to explain what I wanted to order and they corrected my order free of charge ! This is my new FAVORITE Cajun Seafood Boil Spot. LOVE the Service and the employees and the food is outta this world. Have gone in to eat and ordered delivery many times and every time it's a HIT. The seafood by the pound is amazing but their real mvp is the fish and chips that fried fish is HUGE and LOADED with flavor i'm getting hungry just thinking about it

Absolutely addicted to the Daddy Noods and Cajun Fries. I'm too busy grubbing that I always forget to take pics. They always have buy one get one free options on Uber Eats. As for their seafood, I only ever tried their shrimp with head on. Shrimp quality is okay but that Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce (Daddy Sauce they call it) with their spicy level is immaculate. Def recommended for those around the area.

Everything is good except it doesn't have a physical location to dine in. It's only pick up and delivery.

So from looking at their Yelp page, I assumed it was a restaurant. I even called ahead to ask if we needed reservations or if there was a wait time to be seated. We drove there and it was obviously meant to be a pick up spot for delivery drivers. There was no alcohol being served, the water cups and silverware was all plastic, no ambience whatsoever, at a really shady location near DTLA, definitely not the kind of place I would go to for a restaurant experience. That being said... THE FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR. Amazing prices for Cajun seafood, so tasty, definitely one of the best spots in town for getting your hands dirty with crab legs. The lobster and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The service was good too, they were really accommodating and I think our cashier noticed that the location wasn't what we were expecting. We still had dinner there and I really enjoyed the food. I would definitely order delivery next time :)

My first time ordering from here and I'm Impressed. The food is delicious. Ordered via door dash the restaurant followed all instructions. The good was packaged well. All orders were identifiable. Food was Piping Hot when it was delivered. This is my new favorite place for seafood bag. They have a new loyal customer. I mean WOW!!!!

Honestly surprised me. I decided to try the place out and it was empty. Kind of scared me but it was very clean and the workers were extremely friendly. Soooo I tried it. Check it out, $16 bucks for a seafood boil to the face. And it was good! The fries were crispy, the taste was on point and nothing made me feel gross. Only advice I have is eat fast because it got cold quick. Soo unless you can ask to make things extra hot you kind of gotta eat quick

The food was so good. The spice level was high but it's like that in the south. It hasn't been many boils that are similar to what's back home and this is sooooo close

Great experiences so far! Anytime I'm in the area and craving sea food I only come here because the food is always delicious and customer service is on point. The place is clean and I always find parking there. It is now my go to place. Next time I'll upload pics of what I always get but I usually I eat it too fast to wait (:

I got a buy one boil and get one free deal, at the Los Angeles restaurant. When I received my boils, the first boil was decent. When I opened the second boil, I noticed that there were countless amounts of mussel chards in the bottom of the container, mixed in with the shrimp and potatoes. I tried to eat the broth, but the entire boil was inedible, due to the amount of tiny, broken shells in the soup. I could have been hospitalized or seriously injured!!! This restaurant needs to take the neccessary precautions to CHECK their food BEFORE they actually serve it to people!!
