The Brant (Nantucket, Massachusetts) 11 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Discreetly hidden within a trio of 17th-century-style houses in Nantucket’s Brant Point is one of the island’s finest hotels: The Brant. It’s a member of the Provincetown-based Salt Hotels family, and under their guidance it’s been given a chic contemporary-classic look, foregoing the typical whaling-captain inspiration in favor of something more agriculturally inspired. Meanwhile it’s set in one of Nantucket’s most desirable corners, a short walk from the port and the town’s main drag, but just quiet enough for a bit of privacy." - Tablet Hotels

Jason, Alex, and Simone and the Brant team were all absolutely wonderful and made our Nantucket stay so memorable. We traveled with my toddler son, and they were all so nice and accommodating with him, especially his blueberry snacks. The room was very well maintained with nice amenities. And the cocktails were delicious. The Brant is a close 5 minute walk to the town where all the restaurants and shops were - perfect to be close without all the busyness. We very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back!

Just returned home from a wonderful mini getaway to the island of Nantucket. We stayed at the most beautiful boutique hotel called The Brant. Every aspect of the hotel was 5 star! Beginning with their location- within walking distance of the ferry, but just on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are well designed and luxuriously appointed and the staff (especially Jason and Alex) were so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

We recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Brant. The location is perfect - just steps into town and walkable to Children’s and Jetty Beach. We didn’t have a car and did not need one with how close we were to everything. The daily breakfast was delicious. So many fresh options and above and beyond your typical included breakfast. The staff was all incredibly kind and helpful and they provided us with beach chairs and bikes which was great. The room itself was fine. We splurged on a one bedroom suite and while aesthetically cute, there were some issues. As to be expected in an older building, we were constantly hearing creaking floors above us and doors throughout the building open and close. What was not a pleasant surprise, was opening the closet one night to a large cockroach scuttling next to my open suitcase.. When I contacted the staff they came to check although didn’t have any roach spray, but assured me they’d bring maintenance out first thing in the morning to spray. A day came and went and no one ever followed through. It felt like they quite literally brushed it under the rug, and were either embarrassed or didn’t think it was a big deal. But for a $1400/night room, I should be able to use my closet without fear of cockroaches. Having lived in NYC, I’m very understanding of older buildings having pests, I just would have hoped for more care and attention when I’m paying such a high price to stay in what was otherwise a very attentive hotel.

The stay at the Brant was incredible. The staff was so attentive to detail and made the stay amazing. They have thought of everything from complimentary e-bikes, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, breakfast….you name it. The grounds were stunning and had such a fun vibe. And the location was epic. Right by downtown but also walkable to the beach. 10/10 would stay again.

We stayed at the Brant last week for a couple of nights. Our room was great, the bed was so comfortable. Our bathroom was huge and the walk in shower was large and roomy. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a drink before we went out to dinner and the atmosphere in the room was fun and lively. Our whole experience was delightful. Thank you all for a wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel.

My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Brant with two friends and had the most wonderful time! The service was outstanding, rooms beautiful and so comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. The staff helped create the perfect weekend getaway! And the rooms were big enough to return with our son in the near future. We can’t wait to go back!

This magnificent boutique hotel is positioned close to beaches and downtown, perfect for both. If going to the beach the hotel will supply beach chairs and umbrellas. The hotel itself is very clean and modern. The hotel will also allow you to take bikes to cycle around on. The crowning glory to this hotel is Jason, nothing is too much trouble he always appears happy which rubs off him onto his staff. In the mornings the hotel has great choices for breakfast. Lovely Hotel.

Hotel is lovely but a few quirks make it less good value than its peers. First, staff are wonderful and very helpful. Alex and Kayleigh couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Location is great, close to town, bikes are high quality, beds are comfortable, shower is impeccably done with excellent pressure. ||But for about $900 / night (not even in peak season) it should be better. We booked the most basic room and it was just plain too small to move around in - nowhere to unpack, no chest of drawers, and very little space to move without tripping on something. Also at this price an in room coffee maker is normally standard. That’s fine for a Hampton Inn or any hotel in NYC but not here. They were gracious and moved us to a bigger room, but if you’re booking then try not to book the smallest room size, it’s too cramped.

Yelp
This is a quaint and cozy bed and breakfast a stones throw from the shops and restaurants near main street in Nantucket. The rooms while not the most modern are clean and comfortable. The best part of this place is it is far enough away from things where it is quiet but an easy walk to almost anywhere on the north shore. Spend some time reading and people watching on the front porch, take a stroll to the iconic Brant Point lighthouse, and if heights and ladders don't bother your, checkout the widows walk at sunset with a glass of wine. The view from up there is fantastic. Thea and the rest of her staff are fantastic and making you feel welcome and comfortable. The only "drawback" I would say is the breakfast is nothing special; some muffins, coffee, and juice. There are many options for something of more sustenance within a 10 minute walk.

Yelp
Perfect for our three night stay. Just far enough away from town so that it is very quiet at night, except for our last night there where the people in the room above us were very heavy-footed and woke us up several times throughout the night. Shower was very tiny and had a horrible shower head but worked. Inn was very clean and accommodating. The owner informed us they recently added the window AC's to all the rooms which made a huge difference. Very comfortable. Will be coming back soon!

Yelp
The owner Thea is a delight and extremely helpful. I would book there again in an instant!

Yelp
My wife and I just spend a wonderful, romantic three days here. The accomodations are excellent (beautiful room, convenient location, friendly staff and a great price). It's a close walk to town but also has ample parking, a rare convenience for a Nantucket B&B and we like to rent a Jeep to access all corners of the island. I've been coming to the island for many years and I am done looking for new accomodations. It will be the Brant Point Inn for all my future trips.

Yelp
I love Brant Point Inn. We've stayed multiple times. Thea is a great host. The location is great, you can easily walk there from the ferry and walk to all of your dinners. The rooms aren't large, but they're comfortable, very clean, and have everything you need. The cost is very affordable for Nantucket. It's a good place if you want to spend a lot of your time out. If you need a huge room, maybe there are better options but that's never my priority. The widows walk is awesome. There is an area to park bikes. There is a fridge for your Cisco six-pack, as well as ice machines. There's air conditioners. There is coffee, OJ, and muffins in the morning. It's exactly what I want when I go to Nantucket.

Yelp
This was the most un friendly place I have ever stayed. The owner left the reception mid way through helping me because she said she had a "doctors apt". this place has no help at all and the ruddest owner. Never again will I stay at this dirty, expensive, unfriendly place again.
