I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding a recent dining experience at your establishment. My guests and I visited on Saturday, October 11th at 11am and found the environment to be far from the "classy" atmosphere advertised. The excessively loud music made conversation impossible, requiring us to communicate through gestures. Additionally, I found the service to be inattentive, as a server disappeared mid-conversation while I was ordering a drink. The total bill of $319.00, plus a $50 gratuity, was not reflective of the quality of the experience.
Furthermore, the food quality was unsatisfactory. The greens had an earthy taste, indicating they were not thoroughly cleaned. The shrimp and grits were served cold, with the grits having an unusually firm consistency, and the shrimp appeared undercooked. The sweet potato pancakes consisted of a single, seemingly frozen pancake with a minimal sweet potato topping. Finally, the fruit had a spoiled taste.
Given these issues, I believe the overall experience for our party of six was significantly below expectations and not worth the considerable expense.
