"College football fans may want to hit this popular West Seattle sports bar that runs a “recovery brunch” every New Year’s Day with all the bowl games on and a menu filled with bruncy bites, such as egg sandwiches and chicken fried steaks. The service is top-notch, and even extends beyond the doors of the restaurant with a highly functional and informative website." - Gabe Guarente

We tried the draft beers, classic burger, and tacos. The beers were excellent! The burger was decent but small for the price, with more fries than burger, and the tacos were just okay. The atmosphere is cozy, especially on the corner. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, though the outdoor area didn’t seem fully set up yet for cold weather (maybe it is still early). I’d like to come back to try their brunch options. Restroom was very clean and funny with all the memes playing on the displays.

We sat at the bar on a Sunday around 11am, while football was on. The food is delicious, service is particularly attentive at the bar (you have to order at the bar if not sitting there). The San Fran avocado toast comes with a hollandaise sauce on it, so it's the best of both avo toast & eggs benedict worlds! There's also a nice big covered and fenced-in patio that's dog friendly.

Google
The brunch menu brought us in, but the service and atmosphere had us feeling like regulars. Mimosa’s, eggs Bennie’s, and Pattie K set the vibe. Pattie K was friendly, super efficient, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Even when it got busy, she was on it, and you could tell she really cared about the guest experience. This is definitely a must visit spot!

Google
I cannot say enough good things about Patricia K and the incredible service she provided during our visit! From the moment we were seated, Patricia was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made us feel welcome right away and somehow managed to be both efficient and friendly the entire time — it felt like she genuinely cared about making our experience great. Our drinks never went empty, our food came out perfectly timed, and she even made helpful recommendations that ended up being our favorite dishes of the night. Patricia went above and beyond, and her attention to detail and positive energy made the whole evening unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to get Patricia as your server, you’re in for a treat! She’s a true gem and a huge asset to the restaurant. We’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for her by name!

Our agents from our Keller Williams offices comes our here the first Thursday of the month and it's always a great time. Everyone there is super nice, super chill. I definitely recommend trying the fried green beans- definitely some of the best I've tried. Great for watching sports, great to come with friends or even coming by alone on your lunch break.

We sat at the bar and had great drinks and better service. We interacted with many amazing bartenders, but Hugo was with us the most. He made an amazing old fashioned and was so attentive, even when the bar was slammed. I couldn’t rate the staff high enough. They were all so kind and amazing. Will definitely be back time and time again!

Google
Food was delicious! Chicken fried steak was fork tender and the fries were just right with it. Service was even better. Was there with coworkers for a late lunch and the staff was friendly and jovial and made the afternoon that much better! I will definitely go again when West Seattle.

Google
I am updating this review because sadly, they no longer have the Breakfast Sando (RIP). Still a great place for brunch though and they have a couple new items including an avocado toast/eggs Benedict hybrid called the San Fran Toast. Also the breakfast potatoes are still amazing! I really like this place for brunch! The breakfast sando is straightforward and tasty. The breakfast potatoes are very yummy and service is friendly. If there is a game on it’s sure to be packed to plan accordingly. Also looks like there’s a nice patio area although I have yet to eat out there.

Yelp
Not fancy, fussy, self service, and pick your own table! Walk to the front of the full-bar area and place your food order, and your order will be brought to your table. FYI, front of house staff are congenial, very client focused. The burger was off the charts! The salad was really fresh and super delicious. (Did I just praise a salad? Yep) the menu is broad, pub stuff- appetizers, wings, dipping sauce, pretzels, etc. However, the Brunch, Lunch, Dinner menu are amazing. They have gluten free, VEGETARIAN & VEGAN options. Street parking isn't bad. I would skip Sunday Seahawk game days though. Oh and anyone who looks under 40 will be carded. Yeah I'm looking at you. JUST GO! And have a nice time.

Yelp
Our first time at this establishment since moving to the neighborhood. We have seen this place in passing and always wanted to try the weekend brunch. Classic Mimosas were simple and satisfying- perfect complement to our food. My fiance got the chicken fried steak and I got the bridge bene. That sausage gravy is heavenly and so savory. It kept me stealing bites throughout the meal. Might have to get next time. My bene was delicious and the cheddar biscuit it comes on definitely beats the usual English muffin as it is fluffier and has more flavor. Hollandaise was tasty and thick. Hashbrowns were crisp and good. Prices were decent- about $67 with tip. Great atmosphere and nice staff. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
The Bridge is a great example of the old neighborhood pub. It's a casual joint but the food and service are both excellent. I really enjoyed my burger here accompanied by a fresh and tasty wedge salad. The bar man was super friendly and efficient and covered not only the bar patrons but several outlying tables as well during the busy lunch hour. Highly recommended,

Yelp
I love coming here. Staff is very nice and remembers drink orders and names. Seems a forgotten service thing these days, frankly. There are a lot of sports bars in the world. Thankfully this place is close, and always have a great time there!

Yelp
Food was delicious!! Visited April 27th 2024, and had the croque madam with 2 espresso martinis. Let me say food was delicious sounds so basic to order but it was craving of the day and it really set well in the tummy. Their playlist was bopping and Seattle weather just set the vibes for the brunch had.
google avatar

Yelp
The only thing I didn't love was having to place my order at the bar. Their food is brought to your table and bring your own drink back to your table. You want another drink--back to the bar! Other than that it's nice bar with a nice back patio and delicious and creative bar food.

Yelp
The Bridge is located a little south of the main shops and restaurants on California Ave. It's on the corner and plenty of side street parking. This establishment is 21+ only so don't bring the kiddos for brunch, which is only served on the weekends from 10-2pm. Definitely gives off a dive bar, sports bar vibe and it's pretty much self serve but they bring your food out to you, everything else you have to bring to your table such as drinks and water. There is a drip coffee refill station which I did not get this time as I opted for the Irish Kiss which has Jameson Irish Whiskey, Irish Cream, Hot Coffee, Lucky Charms Marshmallows in it but mine unfortunately did not come with the marshmallows which was disappointing. Food wise I got the Brisket omelette which had pretty good brisket I must say. I was pleased with how it tasted and the portions, albeit smaller than your normal brunch places, was a good portion for me. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak which he found tasty as he cleaned his whole plate lol! I ordered a side of Texas toast and asked for the breakfast potatoes but got sourdough toast and has browns for my omelette itself which was also disappointing. We got a cozy booth, which each booth was by the window which was nice. Overall, three stars for not getting what I've asked for, but it was a pleasant brunch and would like to return to try other brunch items and hope they give me the marshmallows next time lol!

Yelp
Always great to be there. We are regulars at least twice a month. Staff could use some great empowering. Spicy could be hotter. Love the ambiance there and seasonal drafts.

Yelp
Decent spot for a game. Very local spot. Ok list of beer and spirits. It was really dirty when we walked in but they cleaned up while we were there. Service was decent. Food was impressive for a sports bar. Lots of room and it was quiet on a Sunday night. Clean bathroom and nice little patio. Probably a 3.5 but the food and clean bathroom I will round up.
google avatar

Chris I.

Yelp
Good spot, nice fireplaces, reasonable drinks. A little odd on the service side having no servers but popular place

P S.

Yelp
Disinterested female bartender - no napkins- dirty table. Paying is a hassle ..Hmmmmmm Do we want to eat here?
google avatar

James R.

Yelp
Much of the lettuce in the salad was not fresh. The "medium well" burger I ordered was mostly pink, and drenched in so much of their special sauce that the bun was soggy. There were ants crawling on the table. But the server was really nice... If you're into low-class dive bars, this might be perfect for you! I expect better.

Yelp
Brunch at Bridge Review Biscuits & Gravy (5/10): Honestly it looked really good but it didn't have much flavor. I expected the country sausage gravy to really hit well with their cheddar biscuit but the gravy just tasted super heavy. My stomach was not feeling good after this. Garlic Parm Fries (9/10): These are really good and I've had them before and they don't disappoint. They also have some good sauces to pick from that go well with it Price (9/10): $50 for 2 extra sides and 2 main breakfast meals and a mimosa so I didn't think that was bad Overall (5/10): The food here is always hit or miss so just depends when you go I guess. I've had dinner there before and it was really good so maybe it was just the cook today. I'd go with the eggs Benny next time, but the bartender said the Benny comes with a biscuit instead of muffin so idk how I feel about that

Yelp
One of our fave places to take the dogs on a night out. Amazing drinks from our fave bartenders and yummy food. Very dog friendly and always welcoming :)

Yelp
The food is always on point. Service is usually friendly, and this is a great place to catch a game or meet up with friends. Would definitely recommend the cheese curds!!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite and drinks. The place is cozy, they have outdoor seating, and multiple tvs. Your typical sports bar. We ordered the diablo sliders and a couple of Guinness on nitro. The sliders were actually really good. The meat was charred, the onions soft and sweet which was needed to counter the spicy fried jalapeños. The fries were equally as good, crispy and perfectly cooked. I'd honestly go back to this place just for those sliders and I don't even live in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall: An unremarkable sports bar that's pretty terrible if you are a vegetarian. Drinks/Bar: The well drinks are stiff (most of the time) and the cocktails are pretty decent. The bar staff are pretty cool and chatty assuming they're not slammed. Food; Unfortunately, their menu is pretty stale, having been the same for years. If you're a vegetarian, the number of options that are (or can be) vegetarian is super limited. Their black bean burger patty is consistently mushy and just oozes out of the sides of the bun when you take your first bite. My wife (who isn't a vegetarian), describes the meat items as "fine." Finally, my biggest complaint is this: The fact that I STILL have to go to the bar to order my meal is...super annoying, especially when the place is really busy like during any kind of sporting event is on TV. The line becomes really long and moves slow. I understand why they did this through the years of COVID and when it was hard to find wait staff, but now it just seems like the owner would rather pocket the money than make a better experience for the customers or make a less stressful environment for the folks behind the bar. [edited because I'm a terrible writer]

Yelp
Just got to Seattle and my friends picked me up from the airport and brought me right here. Food was great. Environment was spot on and drinks were delicious. I love a good pun drink name. I ordered the Benedict and asked them not to smash my tots. They obliged. I had the "grow a pear" bourbon drink and everything was excellent. We sat on the patio and the vibe was great and a bit divey. Would definitely come back

Yelp
This was a fantastic find thanks to Yelp! I was going to be in the area and opted to try to get some brunch. The Bridge sucked me in right away with vegetarian biscuits and gravy!! One of my favourite things to eat, but the veggie version can be hard to find and I'm too cool to make my own at home. The restaurant was very clean with plenty of lighting from the sun and I was greeted promptly. The server was really great the whole time and she definitely really tied the atmosphere together. I ended up getting a cruising the currant beverage, which was definitely really good and I'd really like to try some of the other cocktails they offer. I got the Back in Black biscuits, which came with a delightful black bean crumble. Excellent biscuit dish! The biscuit itself was the perfect texture and the gravy was perfectly made, not the exact same as the meat version, but it's close and I don't think I could do any better. I ended up taking a biscuit home for later and still found myself wanting more. I don't always go out to brunch, and I very rarely head up around West Seattle, but I most certainly need some more of that biscuit bar!

Yelp
Pros: good food, friendly service, relaxing ambience Cons: boozy brunch is perfect for people looking for booze with their brunch, if you are not that into booze, you may feel a little bit left out!
google avatar

Yaela E.

Yelp
Good enough bar food. Fairly mellow crowd. During the past year they seem to have stopped table service so you need to order at the bar.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
I had one simple request, to turn on the sound on one of the televisions in the back so I could watch the Steelers game on Christmas Eve. There was hardly anyone there. But the snippy staff member said "no, house rules, the management only turns on the sound for Seahawks games". He was pretty inflexible. So I left. Apparently they don't need my business or my 20% tips. I got this rude and dismissive treatment before from these people. There's any number of sports bars that are more welcoming, but most were closed on Christmas Eve, so I hoped that things might have changed in the year since my last visit, when they turned away a party of five. No dice. The Bridge will never get my business again.
google avatar

Stevie S.

Yelp
One of the best breakfast I've had since Meanders. If you know... you know! The cocktails were yummy and the dark atmosphere was perfect for a weekend brunch.
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
Been coming to the bridge since day one and it never disappoints. Their weekend brunch is one of my favorites. The mushroom gravy hits the spot.
google avatar

Alisha M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Buffalo wings and beer battered fries were delicious. I would absolutely visit again!
google avatar

Darnell M.

Yelp
The bridge has some of the best appetizers on California Ave. different than most and service has been pretty decent. Outdoor dining and with lots of games. This place is a fun local west seattle eatery.
google avatar

Ed M.

Yelp
This is now my go to bar. Staff is friendly and inviting. We ordered take out and it was fast and fresh. Burgers are great. Sliders are great. Wedge salad was on point. Do not sleep on the cheese curds, the dipping sauces are top tier.
google avatar

Jesse G.

Yelp
I'm not sure how I have not reviewed the Bridge before as I've been going since it was in the old location closer to the Bridge. This was actually the last restaurant we ate in before the pandemic and the second one we ate (outside) at now that we are fully vaccinated. They have made their back deck area truly beautiful - it feels private and sheltered but still very much outdoors. There are tables with small fire pits and other tables on the edges that are nicely spaced apart. You order at the bar and they bring your food to you which was great. Food is slightly upscale bar food - I had chicken wings this time which were nicely flavored and crispy and juicy. We also had tater tots which were a bit under cooked but still good because it is hard to say tater tots are not good. And we also had the bread pudding which was delicious. They have CBD beverages here which may be a plus for some!

George N.

Yelp
Simple and GOOD. Great value for $ and very comforting. If you're looking for quality and familiarity then you will find it here.

Yelp
Excellent but you wait on yourself now which was fine for us. Food was very good and TVs great for watching our University of Washington huskies!

Yelp
Had a bad experience at the Bridge in West Seattle today. My husband and I were in town to experience the pre-mother's day garage sales and decided to take a break for lunch. We had our dog with us, so the places we could go were limited. We opted for The Bridge. We arrived around 12:00 and sat on the patio. My husband went to the bar and ordered our meals. He ordered the Graham Street and I ordered the Bridge Bene. After about 15 minutes the waiter stopped at our table and asked if we had ordered a Graham Street. We said yes and he presented the plate to my husband. After 10 minutes I asked the waiter where my meal was and told him I had ordered a Bridge Bene. After about 5 minutes he came back and told me it was coming. After 10 more minutes my husband was finished with his sandwich and I told him (my husband) to cancel my order. He went to the bar to cancel it and was told it was on its way out. After another 10 minutes I decided we had been there long enough and it was time to move on, so I went to the bar and asked that the order be made to go. 5 more minutes passed and I decided to go into the bar and wait. They were just putting the order in a bag, so I grabbed it and we left. The waiter said, "Sorry for the wait". It clearly wasn't his fault. The manager was there and was fully aware of the debacle. Unfortunately we had to pay, and tip, when we placed the order, so there was no way to demonstrate our displeasure. I think the least the manager could have done was to offer a free drink the next time we come in. Better yet, make it for The Point in Burien. As far as the meals, my husband's BLT (aka Graham Street) was good. My eggs and the sauce were good. The egg muffin was so tough I had to use a steak knife to cut it.

Yelp
4 years later. Updated review. I still love this place so much. Service is still amazing during covid even though things are quite different. I came here for brunch with my sister since she wanted to treat me out for my birthday. The bartender was great at handling the business of everything. I ordered the bene and my sister got the chicken fried steak. We also split waffle with strawberry compote. Everything was delicious! Service was great.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
No table service at brunch. Loud music. Long waits. The Eggs Benedict was grossly overdone and served with congealed hollandaise. I had to track someone down and ask to have it remade. It came out just as bad. Gave up and left. Will not be back.
google avatar

Jack P.

Yelp
Very delicious brunch! I got the eggs Benedict and it was super tasty. Casual bar atmosphere. Order at the bar and they bring to your table. Recommend!

Tina B.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere, and food is decent but not a fan of ordering myself at bar with no service.

Yelp
My husband and I went to The Bridge for brunch, which is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 2 PM. They have a small parking lot behind their building (enter on Graham Street). There is also free street parking in this area and it is somewhat close to the bus stops at the Morgan Junction. We arrived around 12:30 PM on a Saturday, but they weren't too crowded. The sign said "Seat Yourself," so we were able to sit down at a booth immediately. The Bridge is also a bar, so you have to be at least 21 years old to enter. They have several TVs, so you can also watch sports there. Overall, I was surprised by the food because it was much better than typical "pub grub." I ordered the Steak Hash, which is steak, caramelized onions, bell peppers, roasted garlic, Piquillo pepper sauce, Gorgonzola cheese, two eggs, and your choice of toast or biscuit. It is also served with either roasted potatoes or smashed tater tots. I thought everything tasted delicious, but my biscuit was a little burned on the bottom. My husband ordered the Biscuits & Gravy, which is two biscuits, sausage and thyme country gravy, and your choice of roasted potatoes or smashed tater tots. Unfortunately, he didn't really like his food. The biscuits are very savory with a strong cheese and black pepper flavor, but I think he's used to more traditional/buttermilk flavored biscuits. He also didn't like the flavor and consistency of the gravy. Our server was nice. She took our order correctly and our food came out promptly. One of the barbacks also helped us a few times by refilling our waters and clearing dishes, which we appreciated. However, it did take a really long time for our server to finally bring us our check and cash us out.

Yelp
This place is the greatest hidden gem. Food and service is stellar. The owner is engaged in and present.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has a fun atmosphere, great service and above average bar food. This place is great stop when you don't really want to decide where to go. I would give it -5 for service -4 for atmosphere -3 for food (4 for bar food) -5 for price

Yelp
The go to brunch place in W Seattle!!! 1. The bloodies are sexual! 2. The burgers are Kobe Sex in a Bun And last but not least the Fluffy Biscuits and Gravy will leave you wanting a cigarette lol YUM YUM YUM
google avatar

Yelp
The Bridge is the best all around bar/restaurant in West Seattle. It's a great date night spot with booths- for a little extra privacy, fun outdoor area for a group of friends, epic spot to watch games, and perfect for brunch with the girls. The bartenders are always friendly and the food... THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. They even have GF buns & options. My brothers visited me from California and loved this place. So much so, one of them asked for merch for Christmas last year. I obliged, however he was a little sad when the sweatshirt didn't say "West Seattle" on it anywhere lol. Anyway- do yourself a favor and go to The Bridge. It's bomb!
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
I've been coming here for Happy Hour eats for a couple years. The my change the HH menu and always put something on there I fall in love with - now it's the jackfruit sliders (vegan) and I suggest you try them. And now I'm not vegan. I do a side salad for an additional $5 which is tasty as well. I don't have any bev's on my lunch hour so can't speak for the drinks but I can't tell by the regulars the Bridge has that down too. Hey Bridge bring back those steak bites .... ijs

Sally H.

Yelp
This used to be a great lively spot, and now it just feels sad. They have not switched back to table service, requiring you to wait in line to order at the bar. Most other restaurants have rehired servers at this point, or have at least figured out ordering from your table using an app (Toast?) which would avoid having to get up and disrupt conversation for 10 minutes every time you want to add something onto your tab. And on top of that the bartender was not friendly once it was your turn to order--she seemed annoyed. There was no water station outside in the patio area, and I had to track someone down inside to get some. We weren't given plates with our appetizers and had to go in and ask. We then ran out of napkins and again had to go inside to grab some. If I'm working this hard, I should be on the payroll. Oh--we asked for extra veg with our chicken wings--several mushy sticks and carrots and celery were put on a side plate and we were charged $1. Just pathetic. I will not be back anytime soon. From the thin crowd on a Saturday night I would guess lots of others feel the same way. This business model will tank this once thriving local establishment.

Yelp
Today was the second time we came in within the week! That only happens at Panera for me, so this is kind of major. I like the bridge because service is always friendly, food is always good and the wait is usually never long. First visit: French toast, I remember really liking it and regretting that I ate so much freaking bread. But I honestly couldn't complain because it was good. Second visit: chicken pesto sliders with mozzarella, salsa on the side and fries. The sliders were the perfect size and so good! The chicken was seasoned really well. The fries were literally the best I've had ever (or at least in a long time). They were so good I convinced my friend to get them today at brunch. My girlfriend got the house salad and the burger (subbed for pesto chicken) and she really enjoyed it too. Third visit: I got the C&S scramble (3 eggs, chicken sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheddar cheese with a pepper biscuit and house potatoes. I got the scramble with egg whites and it was pretty good, the veg made the plate a little wet though. The potatoes were really crispy and soft, warm inside. These are big house potatoes. The pepper biscuit was so damn good, especially with jam. That might have been my favorite part of the meal. The girlfriend ordered the huevos rancheros and wasn't too impressed, she said it was too saucy...our companions got the breakfast sando (looked amazing tbh and fries), and the breakfast taco plate. Definitely planning on coming here more often. It's like a fancier and a bit pricier Easy Street Cafe.
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
The drinks here are amazing! I got the lavender lemonade and my friend got some other cocktail that I know he likes. We also ordered the wings which were crispy and meaty and great. We love the outdoor patio area with the bowls of fire. Really nice to have the heat on our face and hands. The bartender was kind of short with us but we didn't really mind.

Yelp
This was our first in-person visit to the Bridge altho we'd done plenty of wonderful carry-out during the pandemic. We went for brunch with good friends and neighbors and had a great time. The restaurant has a great vibe and a really gorgeous interior. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The food was amazing. I had THE BEST corned beef has I've ever had. My husband loved his breakfast burrito, too. I can't wait to return and sit at the big, beautiful bar that seems to be the "hub" of all things good at The Bridge. The sooner the better!

Ashley J.

Yelp
This place has one of the best brunch's in West Seattle. The sausage maple is delish, with a fluffy biscuit, tasty gravy and sausage and cheese. Mmmmm! They also just added tacos to the menu that are pretty good too! All staff is super friendly and welcoming. It's perfect for catching a Sunday football game!
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Came for Sunday brunch and sat on the back patio. Great food, nice atmosphere. We all scraped our plates clean. The bacon was exceptionally good and nice and thick. Plus, the servers were super attentive and even hand-fed my dog bacon! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Bob J.

Yelp
Awesome vegetarian options over here. The black bean burgers are fire. The fries are crispy and delicious The only hang up would be that the food can be a little greasy at times but aside from that would highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Most delicious sports bar I've ever visited! Came in for a late lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We sat ourselves on the back patio. The decor was very cool with lots of high and low-top tables and plenty of umbrellas for shade. They also had provided doggy water bowls! We were immediately served glasses of water and ordered The Bridge Red ale and the Cucumber Refresher cocktail. They were perfect choices for the sunny day. The cocktail presentation was very trendy served in a mason jar. We ordered an appetizer and shared a burger. The cheese curds dipped in the pepper jelly were to die for! They were served on top of a bed of kale, which was also delish dipped in the ranch! Then we ordered the Bison Burger and upgraded to the sweet potato fries with a side of chipotle ranch dipping sauce. It was awesome they pre-split the entree and fries for us in the kitchen! The unique toppings on the burger blending perfectly and the chipotle sauce added the perfect kick to the sweet fries. They were probably the BEST sweet potato fries I've ever had. Our server was very sweet and constantly checking in on us. Wish we could've stayed longer to try another drink and play some of the complimentary board games!

Yelp
Don't bother coming here if you want to watch a game if the teams you're watching aren't from Washington. They won't play the sound. Garbage.
