"The Brixton is bringing eight years of experience with the sporty Marina crowd to a new SoMa location by the ballpark, where opening day is scheduled for May 3. The space, the former Paragon at 701 2nd Street, is nearly foul ball distance from the newly rechristened Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. But game day crowds won’t be the entire focus of the restaurant, owners say. Brixton’s new location hopes to foster a lively bar scene and serve an eclectic food menu with southern influences, playing a “hybrid role” in the words of Banks White, previously chef of the Brixton’s sister SF restaurant, the Rambler, and now the group’s culinary director. “It’s by the ballpark, a block away, but the people that live there 365 days of the year want a neighborhood restaurant they can rely on, and know that Derek [Schuette, the location’s general manager] will take care of them during service.” Brixton founders Adam Snyder, Hugo Gamboa, and Andy Wasserman (their LLC is Hat Trick Hospitality) all scouted the SoMa stretch to see what might be missing from the area’s dining scene. “Some of the restaurants just cater to the ballpark crowd,” says Gamboa — but Bud lights and wings can only go so far. “We want something a little more well rounded.” Snyder might be most familiar with the area: He lived in the building above the restaurant for years. “The people in that building say they’re starving for a restaurant of our nature in that neighborhood,” he says. To eat, White has a menu including roasted brassicas (with herbed freekah and house made cashew cheese), short rib grilled cheese (caramelized onions, smoked cheddar, frisée, and wild baby arugula), and a big burger with chili and pimento cheese. For another Southern touch, there’s skillet butter poundcake, which White describes as “very Texas grandma.” His own made it just for him: “It was my special thing,” he says. The bar will serve beer, wine, and cocktails including a Bloody Mary made with the Brixton’s own barbecue or red pepper sauce. GM Derek Schuette calls the remodeled Paragon space “darker, much richer,” and says its hardly recognizable from before as designed by Lori Yeomans. Paragon closed without warning back in 2017. Yeomans is also in charge of Hat Trick Hospitality’s remodel of its original Cow Hollow Brixton location on Union Street. Chef White is adding his touches to an updated menu there, too. Seating at the new Brixton was laid out with different customers and uses in mind: A 24-foot bar for a quick beer and a burger, a communal table section, banquettes, and a cafe seating area for posting up with a laptop and a coffee (in front of a retractable door opening onto 2nd). For groups, there are two private dining rooms, one called 24 and one called 44: Nods to the numbers of Giants greats Willie Mays and Willie McCovey." - Caleb Pershan

We visited after a Giants game and they were already an hour from closing, but were nice enough to let us order food if we decided quickly! The fries from the burger were delicious and fresh! The tuna poke bowl really surprised me; at first I was disappointed I didn’t order the tuna tacos but it was delicious. There wasn’t too much rice and it was mostly salad and tuna, which was actually spicy as well (watch out if you don’t do well with spicy). I really liked it! The buffalo chicken wings were disappointing, soggy and lacked flavour. But that was the only thing we felt was a waste. It’s beautiful inside and the atmosphere seemed fun. However there was no soap in either men’s or women’s washrooms. There were also condiment squeezie bottles that I assumed was back up soap but were also empty :(

Google
The Brixton was awesome! Very close to Oracle Park but we could still get drinks before and after the playoof game(where we crushed the Dodgers BTW). Great vibe and phenomenal location.

Jesus Escobar

Google
Great environment, just had appetizers, and a few drinks 🍸 🍻 while watching the Giants game

Google
Perfect location to eat right before a baseball game however don’t recommend as the wait for food was over an hour long, the service was extremely slow and the food was subpar and very expensive. We ended up just ordering two appetizers, nachos and tempura shrimp and it was $56. Would not recommend unless you just wanted to go grab two very expensive drinks before the game.

Friendly staff, amazing food and cocktails!

Google
Went here pre-pandemic and got a seat on the patio to enjoy a nice day and a beer. I went here regularly when it was the Paragon and glad to see that they have kept the layout. The staff was nice, friendly, and responsive. The menu has changed and looks really good with more affordable pricing. This is a great spot in general but even better on game day to hang out and people watch.

Google
Really loved this spot. Drinks were good as was the food. A bit in the pricey side. They REALLY wanted us out quickly and weren't shy about reminding us multiple times well before closing, which is why it isn't getting 5 stars from me.

Alison Perez

Google
Great place to catch a game and the atmosphere is pretty great too. The food is amazing and they have a excellent menu selection too. I recommend checking this place out when you have a chance and lets go LAKERS!

Yelp
3.5 stars. Classy bar/lounge across the street from Oracle Park. We were walking to the stadium and came across this place. Lots of people outside and inside getting ready to watch the Dodgers vs Giants! Lots of seating either at the bar, tables, or lounge area. Everyone looked like they were having a good time! TVs at the bar. We only came in for the drinks. Beer and a margarita. Drink prices shouldn't be surprising due to area. $15 for a margarita in a small glass with lots of ice. Eek. It was good, but maybe ask for light ice. $9 for a local IPA. Came in for the experience. The place is cool and the staff are too. Good place pre or post game. Just pricey. Will try the food next time. Seemed like there were some good food choices.

Yelp
This review is only for The Brixton as an event space and event catering. This location is so much bigger than their Marina District location but it has much of the same vibe and decor. Plenty of lounge, booth, and table seating--it's definitely a great place for happy hour or any event. Catering was delicious. There was a salad, potato purée, green beans, a choice of chicken or salmon (or both), and tartlets and cookies for dessert. The only hiccup of the event was the sound system. The audio seemed to crack and the mic could barely be used. Not sure if there was just a lot of feedback from multiple mics being used or if it was just an off night. And there are no mocktails but I guess if I want mocktails I'll go to their sister site Hazie's in Hayes Valley.

Nina S.

Yelp
The drinks were fine, the food was not great. We got the shrimp and I would not come back for that. It was nice we got to sit outdoors and it was pretty chill vibes after a giants game.

Sue N.

Yelp
Came here before the SF Giants game and was not disappointed... we only came for drinks but thought we would try the Fire Cracker Shrimp... holy crap! It was so good we asked for a side of just deep fried jalapeños and sauce... not hot... just flavorful... the chef, Antonio, was so cute! He came out with our side and we told him how much we loved it! His smile was worth it! Monday and Thursday games are worth coming into the city!

Yelp
Came here right before a Giants game on a July 4th weekend. Many of the spots close by were closed for the holiday. This place was open and willing to serve. We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, and hummus. They were all super good. Service was great and proximity to the park was great. We will definitely add this place for the next Giants game

Calvin H.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour after work with my coworkers and it was a great vibe. It was empty when we arrived at around 5:30pm but people started to trickle in while they played the Chargers & Chiefs game on the TV. Happy hour ends at 6pm so we ordered everything we could in the 30 min that we were there. I got a hazy IPA since the happy hour was $5 draft, but it took a long time for my beer to come even though we ordered at the same time. Probably with the influx of people, the staff was too busy. Unfortunately some of the items on the happy hour menu were not available but our waitress was super nice to let us order off the happy hour menu even though it was past 6pm! would def come back

Rob L.

Yelp
Great local spot a block from Oracle Park. Plenty of seating from bar chairs to high tops and also a living room set up with leather sofas. Chill vibes with friendly staff and 2 huge tvs to catch the game. Servers were fast and on top during my experience checking in and offering anything else. The chicken sandwich has a nice light cripsy breading with cabbage slaw.

S F.

Yelp
Solid upscale bar food. Burgers, nachos, etc. Good service. Layout allows for mingling and parties.

Bruce M.

Yelp
The Brixton is a dead space in our neighborhood. This space used to be a vibrant restaurant that served locals and giants fans alike. Now they're dark and closed up night after night. Please, Brixton owners, if you even care, please leave the neighborhood and let someone who wants to serve food and drink take over the space. Momos across the street? Busy and popular. Towns End? Waiting lines for breakfast and lunch. Even Delancy street restaurant, steady clientele. Get with it or get out. Please.

Eddie E.

Yelp
Rachel the manager went above and beyond in assisting me to find some stuff I lost. Good food and great drinks.

Hannah Y.

Yelp
An all-American restaurant and bar right by Oracle Park, so the location is unbeatable if you're going to a game (or if you just want to watch from their screens). The Brixton ribs were good! The mac and cheese with gouda and breadcrumbs was also tasty but not really any more tasty than mac and cheese I could make at home. Dined: July 16, 2022

Yelp
I live in the neighborhood and like this place when it's actually OPEN! Don't believe the hours posted on maps or yelp. It's been like this for years, they don't seem to care about keeping their online presence up to date. Other restaurants in the neighborhood can do it.

Afshin A.

Yelp
Great place to watch sports! On March 1 of this year, we were out and about and I was desperate to find a place to watch an important soccer match. As we made the corner there was The Brixton! The place was packed, so we had to stand and watch the match; however, the servers were going around and taking orders. We did get our drinks of choice and enjoyed the match. There are TVs all around and if you end up getting a table during your favorite match, you will not have any problems finding a screen that is located for your convenient viewing.

Nathan D.

Yelp
Good drinks and food. Great for groups and happy hour. Definitely check them out if you're in the neighborhood. Much less bro-ey and annoying than the one in the marina for sure.

Gina A.

Yelp
Great vibes for before or after a Giants game! Quick service, friendly faces, and yummy drinks (fresh squeezed orange juice in the mimosas is a plus)! Good music but a bit loud. Food is average but still hit the spot.

Yelp
Came in for lunch and they asked if we had reservations... was then seated sandwiched befween another group of people Asked for a medium-rare burger but it came out extremely dry. The bun was so thin that it fell apart after touching the meat and vegetables for a few seconds. The server later asked how I liked it and I told him it was dry and he said it was my fault I didn't say so earlier. TIMING: - Came in for lunch and they asked if we had reservations - Were seated immediately - The place was packed and they put us in a table with 2 other couples FOOD: 1. Burger with fries - Texture: dry (asked for medium-rare) - Buns: thin and fell apart - Sauce: none - had ketchup and asked for sriracha - Meat: 2 thin burger patties - French Fries: crispy (probably my favorite part of the dish, but they kept coming by and would touch my dish and try to take it away without asking me if I was finished...) - Portion: decent 2. Ahi Tuna Salad - Fish: Roughly 6 pieces? - Texture: Chewy - Salad: literally large chunks of cabbage that isn't even cut up - Seasoning: plain * Note: "hot" SERVICE - Rude - the waiter asked me how I liked my food - Me: the burger was dry - Server: well that's your fault you didn't tell us earlier. This isn't our fault that you waited this long to tell us - Me: well it's not like it was BAD, I just said it was dry when I asked for medium-rare... - Server: okay, great! (takes my plate and walks away) - Rushed - again, kept coming by to try and take my dish away when it was clearly full of food WOULD RECOMMEND? - Nah. haha... nahhhhhhhhh

Yelp
Dinner review. 4 - FRIED BABY BACK RIBS (adobo style sweet chili sauce, birdseye chili, pickled okra, fried garlic) 5 - GULF SHRIMP ALA PLANCHA (smoked tomato & lime arbol butter sauce, texas toast) 4 - EASTSIDE CHILI CON QUESO (chorizo, pico de gallo, cotija, tortilla chips) 5 - PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND MUSSELS (chorizo, paprika butter, pilsner, grilled batard) 4 - SHORT RIB GRILLED CHEESE (caramelized onions, smoked cheddar, frisee & wild baby arugula) + Location Overall, "as good as it gets."

john h.

Yelp
I have stopped in twice before Giants day games. Bottled beers are $6 or $7 which are half the price I pay inside the ball park. I tried the ribs appetizer and it was good. It is nice place to pregame, plenty of TV's, indoor/outdoor seating, clean bathrooms, self serve water, and friendly staff.

Bob U.

Yelp
Disappointing. Overpriced small menu. Not a quality burger. Two quarter pound low end Pattie's. Chicken sandwich half eaten by my table. Not again for me.

Terrie S.

Yelp
They are open all game days even if yelp says they are closed. The bartenders are nice guys. The Bloody Mary mix is house made. It is tasty and super spicy with horseradish. Nice fun atmosphere. Stop by on game days for sure!!

Terrie R.

Yelp
We live in the neighborhood and were so glad this restaurant opened up again after the pandemic/shutdown as so many businesses didn't make it. To start we got the Macho Margarita and San Francisco Fling and both were delicious! We proceeded to order the Brixton Burger and added bacon...burgers were perfectly cooked & a bit messy but well worth the calories. The fries were the best I've had in awhile and highly recommend getting those as a side for any dish. Pam was our server and was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this place on game day or even a weeknight. Great atmosphere!

Kelvin T.

Yelp
Brixton was a bit disappointing. Their ambiance is nice & spacious, but their food left me not impressed. What I ordered to-go: Brixton deluxe burger - over cooked patty w/ burnt buns (as you can see pictured). How can you possibly give a customer burnt buns?! It doesn't take long to heat up new buns if you see they're burnt. Shouldn't a burger be the easiest to make? There wasn't much options on their menu so I would think this burger was the star item. The patty was over cooked & fell apart in some areas. I thought the burger could use a bit more sauce. Mac & cheese - pretty good, nothing special. I would order again.

Wendy R.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Tuesday night and was pleased to find that they had happy hour all day I ordered their Brixton bramble which was good- especially with the fruit within the drink. We also ordered their pretzel and fries which were solid

T.J. H.

Yelp
They just reopened this past week, so my wife and I stopped by for lunch. Right now they're offering a limited game day menu and are only open on days with Giants home games, but what they had was quite good. I had a Brixton Burger and my wife had Guacamole and Chips. I asked for the burger Medium (it's a "smashed" burger so they only offer Medium or Well Done). It was 2 patties and generously sized, juicy, and had very good flavor. The fries it came with were some of the best fries I've had, soft inside and a special breading that made them extra crispy. My wife loved them too and stole half of them. They had several beers on tap, reasonably priced for the neighborhood, and several specialty cocktails. Just docking one star because of the limited menu, I was looking forward to their short ribs.

Tramy V.

Yelp
We went here for some drinks at about 10 pm on a Saturday. Service was non-existent unless you walked up to the bar. I first had to get up and ask for a menu. Then I had to go back up to place an order. Also, the bartender himself seemed rather snooty. Overall, the drinks were decent and prices on the higher end. The atmosphere itself was nice (nice space), but there was no warmth in the overall setting, staff, music, and overall vibe. If the service and vibe was more elevated, it would probably attract more people to come, hang out, and have more drinks.

Silvano P.

Yelp
Highly recommend the chicken and waffles, 10/10. Great friendly service and delicious food. Also not insanely busy which was great! Worth checking out

Gregory J B.

Yelp
Had the deep fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious, Andy was our waiter was super attentive, knowing that we were going to the Giants game he made sure our food was brought out promptly. Atmosphere was lively, but not too loud, we will definitely be coming back.

Gabriela H.

Yelp
Stopped in just before a LA Dodgers vs SF Giants baseball game. Got seated quickly with all of the hustle and bustle but our server was slow to take our food order...she was quick on the cocktails though!! Overall it was good food, just slow service...we had to hunt down our server to pay! I had the classic burger and fries which was standard and just the type of food you would expect from a place like this. My boyfriend had the chilaquiles...they were tasty but not your traditional chilaquiles...more like nachos. Beautiful ambiance!!

Emily B.

Yelp
Such a fun place before an event at Oracle Park! They take reservations which is great. Our server was awesome even with the hectic crowd. Food was delicious as well as the drinks. I look forward to coming back and trying more food!

Shane M.

Yelp
I love this place! I started with a local ginger beer that they have on tap and then I ordered a coffee! Both beverages were perfect and lovely and served in GREAT glassware ... coffee is hot and delicious! I am eating vegan and I ordered a gem salad (so bright and lovely as well with a light green goddess style dressing ).... I also ordered the Vegan Pappardelle pasta which was YUMMY and beautiful! The Warrior game just started on 5+ flat screens so I have to go! Amazing new place ..... check out the Mules !

Mike P.

Yelp
Huge disappointment! Food was not as it was described to be on the menu (garlic knots did not have a hint of garlic on them, and spicy Mac n Cheese had zero spice..), service was also pretty awful with attentiveness and knowledge.l if menu. If this place wants to be a go-to spot before and after Giants games, it's got a lot of fine tuning to do. The quality of food either needs to come way up, or prices need to be adjusted accordingly..

Danny S.

Yelp
If you like Margaritas made with Safeway mixer, this is your spot. The drink was truly difficult to get down.... However, the fried chicken sandwich and fries hit the spot! Definitely a spot for food and beers but don't waste your time with the drinks menu.

Christine T.

Yelp
Went to an epic catered event here in June. They have a beautiful banquet room--very modern, rustic and quaint. The service was above and beyond--they went to every effort to make our picky guests feel welcome and taken care of. The food was delicious and the management was awesome. I can't wait to go back for a burger (I stalked them in the main dining room lol).

Jeff H.

Yelp
Overall, I like Brixton.  The indoor space is well appointed and they offer outdoor seating.  All day happy hour on Tuesdays, but there's a catch; no HH on days when the Giants play.  It's a really good happy hour and I wish it was available more often; their Crispy Gulf Shrimp are delicious.  Now that several of their competitors have gone out of business nearby, I hope they implement happy hour on a full time basis with no restrictions (I REALLY want those Gulf Shrimp to be available more often).

Jessica P.

Yelp
You have got to try the burger!!!! It's out of this world. Staff always so sweet and they play super fun music. They even remembered my birthday and gifted me a speciality cocktail. Thank you Brixton for always being such a fun place to meet up with friends!

Katherine H.

Yelp
Service is spotty. Coffee is nice and strong. They have a cute outdoor patio facing 2nd street but there are so many bums that walk by, you often kind of feel "too" exposed to the outside elements if you're sitting on the outer edges of the patio area. It took us 2 hours from start to finish today for brunch. Food did come out relatively quickly but it took forever to get our menus, the bill, and to close out the bill. I didn't even want to ask for hot sauce because I knew it would just annoy me more waiting forever for it. Nothing on the server. They just looked short staffed. This is my second visit. The food was good, but nothing stood out. The southern biscuits were overmixed and had a yeasty smell to it. Maybe the mixture went bad and they still baked it off? Either way, we took one bite and didn't touch the rest. Chicken and waffles Benedict was tasty, but wish there was some sort of gravy over the chicken. It was missing something to tie the whole dish together. Just my opinion, of course. Not an expert! Maybe I'm just too saucy!

Katie M.

Yelp
Hmmmmmmmm. I have worked in this part of SoMa for the last 6 years and The Brixton's predecessor, Paragon, was a regular destination for team lunches. We were very excited to see The Brixton open, since it's a great space and location, right by the ballpark. Unfortunately, it seems like they are still working out the kinks (as most new restaurants do in its opening week). However, our experience was so... out of the ordinary... that I felt compelled to leave this review. PROS: - Beautiful space. They've renovated the inside to make it more open and more suitable for happy hour and sports events. - Food was fine, I would happily go back to try some of the other menu items given its proximity to my office. If you're looking for a good burger, I would probably go to Marlowe or even Umami Burger instead. - The bussing staff were very helpful and on point. CONS: - Service was something else. We got there promptly at our reservation time (noon; table for 8) and were seated right away. Our server was quick to take our drinks and appetizer orders but then it quickly fell apart after that. My colleagues waited 15 minutes for their ice tea and soda, which I presume should take much less time than say, a mixed cocktail. (We actually had to ask about the soda before we got it.) Our server never reappeared to take our main orders; at 12:25 we tried to ask another server to help us with our order but she said "Your server will be right with you" and then went on to her part of the restaurant. At the very minimum, you'd think she'd try to find the other server but she just went about her day. Our server finally showed up to tend to another table and then disappeared again. The hostess actually had to stop by our table because we were raising our hands like school children trying to get someone's attention. We finally ordered at around 12:40. - Starters came out quickly but our entrees took a long time. There was a visible backlog and we saw other tables were waiting as well, even people who'd been working on their appetizers when we sat down. Our table ordered mostly burgers and steak. This food took about 25 minutes to come out, so we received it at around 1:08. One of my colleagues had a meeting at 1PM and had to leave before getting his lunch. - Our server said she'd try to get a to-go cup for the soda above-mentioned coworker had ordered and left. She didn't come back. We went to the bar to ask for a to-go cup and they said they didn't have any. They still charged us for it. Cool. Cool cool cool. - And to top it all off... The burger we brought back to the office for the colleague who left early wasn't even what he had ordered... It was missing the cheese. - It's an $18 burger. Popson's does a much better burger (albeit without fries) for $8.65. At least we got our bill quickly... but we preemptively went and handed our server our credit card to run it. Look, I get it. They just opened. But our server never had a sense of urgency or promptness. Neither did the restaurant manager (guy in a grey suit who was expediting at the kitchen), or any of the people behind the bar, or any of the other servers - despite having seen all of us look around anxiously for our own server. Most people having lunch in this area will be heading back to work, hopefully within the hour. We left the restaurant at 1:20PM, meaning we received our entrees and ate them in the last 10-12 minutes, despite being there for 80 minutes. EIGHTY MINUTES. That's almost the runtime of an extended episode of Game of Thrones. I'm willing to come back in say 2-4 months to see if things have improved and update my review, but I'm steering clear for now.

Emily K.

Yelp
Please be aware that this Brixton offers a SIGNIFICANTLY limited menu relative it's sister restaurant on Union Street, which has extensive menus for lunch, dinner and brunch, all of which are 3x as long as the offering for this location. I'd be willing to give this place another shot if there was a comparable menu to the other location, but as of now it's just a few extremely overpriced burgers and other dishes, which, despite living right around the corner, is certainly not a reason for a repeat visit.

Jaspreet U.

Yelp
I came here for a late lunch with a girlfriend this weekend. It's a cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. The interior is cute and classy. The staff is nice and laid back. I had a terrible cold so I settled on a latte (they serve Verve coffee), which was great, but their cocktail menu looked intriguing! I ordered the short rib grilled cheese - I would describe the meal as comfort food. The short rib was a pulled meat form with onions mixed in, but it was a little too saucy for my preference. The bread was delicious and overall the sandwich was made well. The portion size was filling, but I think $20 for a grilled cheese was a bit pricey (as was most of their menu). It wasn't too busy inside (around 2pm) which was nice. Overall I think this place may be more for the drinks, but I would love to come back to try their weekend brunch.

Maddie S.

Yelp
I've always drove by this place and thought it looked super cool so I decided to give it a try! The back of the building is the dinning area and the front is the bar/lounge area with comfy chairs. Cocktails started at $14, a little pricey but it was good and strong. The food looks great but I didn't get any... just booze :P

Denise L.

Yelp
Like the previous reviewer, I came the day of the Giants v. Yankees game and there was no food served. However, the service for the drinks were great. Our hostess and waitress were both very pleasant and friendly. Our waitress even went out of her way to help our table with a special request for a cocktail order (sorry for the lack of photos, as I've gotten older, I prefer to enjoy the company I'm with than snap pics/stay on my phone). Also, can we talk about how cute their glassware for serving beer is? Definitely would be interested to come back to try food/brunch when it'll be available!

Brett D.

Yelp
I work down the street and love taking clients here. The space is great. Very open and sunny in the afternoon. The service is fantastic. Make sure that you order the queso!! Even on a busy ballgame afternoon you can find space and get great service. Even better the restrooms are always clean.

Catherine M.

Yelp
Stopped by a couple of weeks past for some drinks with a friend. First of all, it's a gorgeous space, high ceilings and a nicely sized patio-area for those days in SF when it's warm enough to hang outside. Tried the Mi Amigo which was just lovely and well-crafted and reminded me of a subtle jalapeño margarita though that description doesn't do it justice. It was also gorgeously presented with the letter "B" stenciled onto the frothy top of the drink. Also had the Golden Glove - anything with passion fruit is a must try on my list. Yummy, yummy. All the flavors were in perfect balance including the bourbon. Service was lovely and we were well-taken care of even though it was busy and we were just getting drinks. I plan to go back soon for dinner. I'll update with food then though I have to say the menu looks great.

Rana K.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the brunch- This place has one of the most average brunches in the area yet way too over price- their menu is very very limited and they have no flexibility- They have only 1 (yes1) Type of omelette with seasonal vegetables which happened to be asparagus. When i asked for it to be substituted with another vegetable they said they don't have anything else!!! The food arrived so average nothing special Wouldn't recommend this place at all for breakfast

Hannah C.

Yelp
We stopped by before a game at Oracle and it was great! Awesome location if you're hitting up the stadium and great food. We got the adobo ribs, bang bang shrimp, chicken sandwich, short rib sliders, and chicken tacos. I would highly recommend the ribs and shrimp. My husband said the chicken sandwich was under seasoned but other than that our food was amazing! Quick service too. Would eat here again!

VeeMaria L.

Yelp
Loved this place! It's such a beautiful restaurant that I wish I could live in it, the decor is awesome. Please try to check out the cool, rock 'n' roll photos on the walls throughout. The place looks so much more open and inviting then the previous restaurant that used to be in this location. Derek was my server and he was super nice, funny and very helpful, an absolute delight of a human! The food is definitely delicious, very unique and the drinks (especially the Spark Plug drink) which is an Espresso, Kahlua, and Skyy vanilla bean vodka was super yummy. You can definitely tell that the chefs and bartenders put a lot of time and thought into creating the dishes and the design of the drinks. I let him know that I have enjoyed going to The Brixton on Union Street but that this place was even better. Turns out he is the GM of this restaurant and I hope to see him again on a future visit. See you soon Brixton!

Yelp
This place opened up in May 19 as a follow up to its sister restaurant. Pros: -ambience is certainly nice and spacious, with a very large front and back seating space. Multiple TVs and a long old time bar. - location right up against Oracle Park and the Embarcadero waterfront -good spot for pre-game HHs Cons: - don't come for the food. Its a limited lunch/dinner menu, which is fine for a gastropub type setup, but you'd expect that each item should be good. Its not, particularly for the ultra premium prices. bad quantity and quality. For example for $20 for a salad, you'd expect something more than a plate of poorly garnished lettuce. Same issue for burgers. Recommendation: Come to get sauced before Giants games, but avoid Ubering out here for a lunch or dinner or a night out. Service is fairly solid depending on when you go. Off hours, definitely good. During the pre-game happy hour periods which is when they get most of their crowds, service may get a little spotty but just expect it.

Yelp
I'm so happy the brixton opened a second location!! They have been my go to restaurant for the past couple of years. Wether it's happy hour with girl friends or sitting down for a nice dinner, the brixton never disappoints. The food and drinks are fantastic, the vibe is on point and the staff is friendly! I would highly recommend They also have a great event space to host large groups/parties.
