The LA Sports Bar Directory - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If your biggest problem with Happy Hours is that there’s not more of them, head to The Brixton. This low-key bar/restaurant has a whopping three per night, as well as a mac and cheese that should not be skipped." - kat hong, james montgomery

The Best Bottomless Brunch Deals In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"One of the more underrated restaurants in Santa Monica, The Brixton is the type of place every neighborhood wishes they could call their own. A fun, unpretentious atmosphere, and upscale bar food that has no business being as good as it is. Deal: $29 bottomless mimosas. Weekends 10am-3pm." - brant cox, nikko duren

The Best Bars In Santa Monica

"Located on a stretch of Pico in Santa Monica that’s slowly evolved from a no man’s land into a place where you might actually want to hang, The Brixton is a restaurant/bar with an extremely relaxed atmosphere. The excellent bartenders pour mezcal cocktails made with fancy things like habanero bitter and caramelized pineapple, and there’s a Happy Hour from 3:30-7:30pm (yes, four whole hours) every night of the week. Also, the mac and cheese layered with a truckload of breadcrumbs and chives should be ordered at some point. " - brant cox, sylvio martins, nikko duren

11 Great Places to Catch College Basketball’s March Madness in LA | Eater LA

"With eight televisions, a bright room, and dishes like fried chicken and waffles or short rib poutine to share, the Brixton might be the perfect spot to watch a game. Add on the free parking, and it’s truly a unique spot within the Southland. Open at noon on weekdays and at 10 a.m. for brunch on weekends, making this a good first or second-game spot for Westsiders." - Eater Staff

The Brixton Review - U Street - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"Unlike the line your cousin made you stand in at the Hirshhorn Infinity Mirrors exhibit, the wait to get into The Brixton actually goes by pretty quickly. And once you do get inside, you can choose between the casual bar downstairs, the dance floor on the next level, and the open air rooftop that looks over U Street. The crowd here leans younger, so just know that some people out there dancing to “Filthy” won’t know that Justin Timberlake used to have frosted tips." - Joe Brantlinger

Fun Saturday brunch in Santa Monica. The endless mimosas are the bomb and the food was delicious and nicely presented. The Lobster Benedict was amazing and then I finished it off with the French Toast served with bourbon whipped cream, candied pecans and crumbled bacon. Enjoyable time in a rustic environment. Vote for “Pedro” our amazing waiter who kept our glasses full.

A cute little gem stuffed at the edge of Santa Monica, I've been in there a few times. The staff are friendly positive. The food is amazingly portioned. The drinks are solid, but what makes this really? One of the best little food joints is the fact that the staff and Joe are absolutely phenomenal. It is a great community location with sensational flavors. Amazing personalities and just good food.

Came here for memorial day! There is free parking in the lot behind the pub. The service was quick and the server answered any questions we had. We ordered the short rib flat bread, 10/10. There were many veggies and toppings with a good portion of the short rib on there. The crispy kale on the bread was super addicting and yummy! We also recommended the mussels and prawn dish. Surprisingly, it was more of a soup that a sauce. However, it was very delicious and hearty. It was perfectly seasoned and just a tad bit spicy. The mussels came with the shell and it was a generous portion of prawns. Lastly, we ordered the short rib poutine. No complaints, it was a generous portion and tasted great. It was a lot of food so we just took it to-go! We mentioned that my fiance served in the military and the server automatically gave us a discount for memorial day. It was a great happy hour lunch!

What a gem. This is not corporate fancy people scene. A great neighborhood place with excellent food and great tasting drinks. Staff is friendly, service prompt and atmosphere is just pleasant. Great place to see friends and enjoy a nice evening.

I had an incredible experience at The Brixton. The restaurant perfectly balances an energetic, bustling atmosphere with a relaxed feel, so you don't have to yell to have a conversation. The food is outstanding. I highly recommend the spicy chicken sandwich—it was bursting with flavor. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the cocktails were well-balanced and delicious. Even though it was a busy night, the service was fast and super friendly. Our server had great drink recommendations, and every dish was delivered hot and fresh. The Brixton is the ideal spot for a fun night out with friends or a casual date. I can't wait to go back.

This place is unique here in Santa Monica, I love the ambience and specially the staff. Came in to watched a baseball game and ended up staying longer than expected. The food was delicious. I ordered their Mac and Cheese, and it was beyond my expectations. The empanadas are a MUST! Even though the restaurant was swamped, the staff were able to assisted our table on time and they were always great and professional. They made sure we had everything. I will be coming back to watch more games. The Brixton have become my new favorite hidden gem in SM.

Doesn't look much from the outside but inside is a treasure. I loved the ambiance and daily happy hour specials. We ordered the burger and the steak sandwich with fries and the Mac n cheese. OMG the Mac n cheese was soooo good!! The burger was solid and the steak sandwich was ok, not bad but id opt for the burger instead. Prices were decent and the service was great.

We had brunch on a Sunday morning and it was delicious and filling. The staff is very kind and attentive to guests' needs without being intrusive. It is a very popular restaurant and it was already packed before 12 noon. Remember to make a reservation to avoid missing out on good restaurants
