The 25 Best Restaurants in Albuquerque, New Mexico | Eater

"It’s not uncommon these days to hear about bakers who started out at local farmers markets before evolving to a permanent location — but that doesn’t make it any gratifying for owners Sarah Ciccotello and Chris McQuary when the Burque Bakehouse was named a James Beard semifinalist in 2024. The long-overdue accolade (and place on this list) is justified by the line of locals, who visit the shop daily to order elote danishes filled with roasted corn and crema or green chile-jack cheese croissants. Know before you go: The bakery contributes a portion of proceeds to the Honor Native Land Tax to provide ongoing financial support to Indigenous organizations." - Justin De La Rosa

Loved all the pasties I’ve tried so far here. The green chile croissant is the best by far. I understand why there is always a line. Was worth the wait in my opinion. I only wish they were open during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Google
Completely lives up to the hype! I've had a good friend who knows what's what with ABQ cuisine and insisted I stop by for a pastry. As usual, he was spot on. The apricot danish wasn't overly sweet; just enough from the halved fruit on top of the perfect, flaky pastry. The crunchy seems seed confection was also a nice touch. And they also served up one of the best shots of espresso in town Friendly service and cute outdoor vibe. Hi church them out!

Google
When you arrive, the line will wrap around the building but it goes pretty quick and definitely worth the wait. The pastries and breads are fantastic. Staff is friendly and answers any questions. There are sweet and savory options. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. Hands down some of the best pastries in town.

Google
Got there at 7:30 to wait for open, well worth it! Coffee is excellent and pastries were some of the best I’ve ever had. From out of town but if I am ever back in ABQ it’s a must. The green chili croissant and a mango rice, pudding, pastry, outstanding!!

Google
Burque Bakehouse is absolutely incredible! I got to try their seasonal pastries, and I couldn’t be more blown away. Every bite was pure decadence—flaky, buttery, and bursting with flavor. You can truly taste the quality and passion in everything they make.

Chaolan Kluthe

Google
The only place that I need to wait in line for my food. It only opens Fridays through Sundays. I love all the special pastries. Way to be creative with the flavors.

Aysa Fan

Google
Burque Bakehouse is unreal. We had the burnt honey latte (iced), chocolate croissants, butter croissants, danishes, and a few other pastries — and every single one was insanely good. The croissants are even better than the ones I had in Paris a couple months ago. Flaky, buttery, perfectly layered — just so satisfying. If you’re in Albuquerque and love good pastries, this place is a must. Better to come early — like before 10AM — or some of the popular pastries will be gone.

Joi Louviere

Google
Delicious, creative pastries with kind staff executing orders efficiently. Don’t let the line deter you, it moves quickly and proves the product is worth the stop. Gouda & peppers + passionfruit croissant were AMAZING

Yelp
No one can tell me that this isn't one of the best bakeries in town. Yes, it isn't a sit down place. Yes, there's always a line. BUT The staff is always kind and happy. The menu is full of interesting, seasonal bakes. That pepper/pine nut/pecorino sourdough is enough to keep me coming back but then you also have offerings like mango rice pudding or elote danishes, boston cream cruffins, blueberry violet or passion fruit croissants. AND THE PERFECT LITTLE DRINK OFFERINGS AS WELL! A genuine gem thats worth every cent I spend here.

Yelp
Delicious flaky pastries, just be ready to line up because they are popular!! Everything looks amazing and seeing it all on display doesn't help with making decisions as you inch towards the register Wish they were open more days each week so I could try more of their items!

Yelp
A local hot spot. Great hospitable staff and a no fuss walk up and order type spot. Parking fills quick and it gets busy. Everything is fantastic. Had the honey burnt latte, blueberry maple pecan scone, kouign amann, and their croissants. All flavorful and made well. Pastries had great texture without being dry

Yelp
I'm not a morning person so it took me a while to make it to Burque Bakehouse but I'm glad I did. I had the cherry creme fraiche croissant toast (the cherries were so ripe and juicy!), my friend had an almond croissant, and we got a loaf of piñon black pepper pecorino sourdough. Everything was delicious and all the selections looked so tasty it was hard to choose.
google avatar

Yelp
This has got to be my all time favorite spot to get pastries in ABQ. I tried the elote pastry last year and had been thinking of it and had to treat myself today. Definitely try it if you are able to! Although I've never been at a time where there isn't a bit of a line. They move at a pretty nice pace, which I appreciate. Then are always so friendly when you finally make it to the window. Thanks yall for always making the best savory and sweets!

Yelp
If you like unique, delicious, and freshly baked goods you hit the jackpot here!!! We came by at 8:50am on a Sunday morning and there was already a line. Please note this place has no seating area. Line wraps around the building, you order your pastries and coffee at an outdoor window and you get your food and leave! I was impressed with the unique flavor options (like a passion fruit croissant). We ordered a big box of goodies and loved them all. Fresh baked loaves of bread are also a must try. Employees and a high level of pride in their work and the quality shows. We need more businesses like this one! It is very expensive but well worth it.

Yelp
I got the Cardamom vanilla latte with oat milk, based on their recommendation! I Asked for it less sweet and it is delish and a great recommendation. Hubby got the Burque fog and he said it was ok but not his favorite. We also go the sour cream coffee cake and it was good. We also go the French toast bread to try. Cute little spot, only walk up, no inside seating. There was a line when we arrived but things moved quickly. Service was friendly and quick! I would recommend giving them a try! Only open Thursday-Sunday! So keep that in mind!

Yelp
Overall: The Burque Bakehouse makes some delicious pastries, and I would never turn down something from them or an invite to go. However, there are other bakeries that I'd probably choose over them unrelated to the taste/quality of their baked goods. Food: 5 The pastries are always delicious. Their croissants and danishes are perfectly flaky and crispy on the outside with fluffy layers on the inside. Service: 5 The employees are always super nice and patient with your questions. It can take a few minutes to get your pastries though. Ambiance: 3 The Burque Bakehouse is a tiny bakery where you order and wait for your order outside. There isn't much parking in the lot but street parking isn't too hard to find.

Yelp
One of each please! That's what I wanted to say when it was my turn to order. All those flaky pastries look so wonderful! They have fruit danish, flaky coconut rolls, kouign amann, banana bread and much more along with coffee and a variety of drinks. So let me back up a little and say that they don't have a menu for these pastries. You basically walk up to the window and order. Samples of these were displayed in front of you. It's kinda difficult if it's your 1st time and there are people behind you. Anyway, we were very pleased with what we got and wished we had ordered more. There's not much of an ambiance as there is no place to sit around.
google avatar

Terryl W.

Yelp
The line moves fast so don't let that dissuade you. They were so kind to tell me about everything and everything is a lot! There is nothing you could get that you wouldn't love. Coffee, bread, all the pastries.
google avatar

Yelp
Burque Bakehouse rises to the occasion! The mushroom pastry was to die for--flaky, flavorful perfection. Their sourdough pizza bread stole a pizza my heart. Worth every second in line, they deserve all the accolades. Oh, and the cortado? Brew-tifully tasty!

Yelp
I road trip through about ten states almost every year and finding the best bakery on my travels is high on my list of priorities. The Burque Bakehouse is absolutely phenomenal! So far it is number one on my list of best bakeries. Almost solely for this reason, I'm grateful ABQ is my home base. I try to get over there about once a month. If there is a line (frequently) it is highly worth the wait. The folks busting their butts to get me my weekend sugar fix are always super friendly, patient, and efficient. The line goes fast. The bakery shop itself is very cool. It's a simple walk up window with maybe a half dozen outdoor stools on two sides of the building. A great place to sip coffee, eat your pastry, and people watch. Sincerely, prioritize a visit to this place.

Yelp
What a fantastic bakery! Not only was everything baked to technical perfection but the flavors were creative with lots of variety. The Boston cream was my favorite! The honey latte was also such a dreamy cup of goodness. Highly recommend stopping and trying as many things as possible!

Yelp
I love Burque Bakehouse, this is an update because they are so consistently great. I can't pass it up when I'm in the neighborhood. And I have so many more pictures of their gorgeous food! They have staples & new innovations frequently too. I'm obsessed with the green chile croissants, and tomato basil "pizza". Tea & coffee drinks are always well balanced & delicious. The staff are always very friendly & attentive to the neighbors. I know people see a line but it moves really quickly and is totally worth it.

Yelp
Count your croissants! I ordered $40 of pastries and drove 12 minutes home only to find that 2 croissants worth $10 was not in the bag. I drove back and they did give me 2 croissants without any apology so I asked for an extra croissant as compensation for the inconvenience. The manager/owner stated"we are human and make mistakes". My request was denied. A reasonable business would have either refunded the amount for the croissants or given an extra one. Very disappointed in the customer service.

Yelp
Service cheery and friendly. I brought home Boston cream cruffin (WOW), rhubarb danish (Amazing), pinon black pepper & pecorino sourdough (soft, easy to slice, nice combo), and burque fog (splendid cuppa). One of the best bakeries in town!

Yelp
This is one of the best bakeries in town. I've been here more than once but somehow hadn't managed to review them yet. After one of those medical procedures requiring a liquid diet and fasting, the first stop I wanted to make was Burque Bakehouse. We got a calamansi danish, a jam bun, a kouign amman, and a cafe de olla cold brew. Oh, what goodness! The kouign amman was so buttery and delicious with the caramelized sugar, and I loved the contrast between the sharp citrus and the sweet laminated dough of the calamansi danish. The jam bun had lovely apricot (I think) jam between layers of pastry. And after more than 24 hours without caffeine, the cold brew really hit the spot. We also bought a loaf of challah to make into French toast this morning. Of course we sampled some before making breakfast and it was fantastic. In the past, we've tried their croissants (flaky perfection) and their pinenut, black pepper, and pecorino sourdough. It's all so good!

Yelp
Artichoke pastry with piñon...it's splendid. I think everything here is neatly made with a smile. The building only has room for the wonderful people making these treats. This bakehouse pumps out quality while being small. Would recommend 10/10

Yelp
Stopped in at the Burque bakehouse for the first time this weekend and will be back!! Ordered the Boston cream cruffin and ham and cheese croissants and both were absolutely incredible. All specialty coffees are made with house made syrups. It's a small window only bakery who clearly executed everything with care and so much thought. 10/10, 5 stars.
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Found out about this gem shortly before they were nominated for a JAMES BEARD AWARD! It is well deserved... all their baked goods are superb. Visit early if you can... the hype is real! There can be long lines and they will sometimes sell out of items. Some items are seasonal/rotated. My favorite pastry so far has been the Grapefruit Danish. The Mango Sticky Rice Danish was also a memorable one. The Twice-Baked Almond Croissants are always a huge hit and always on the menu. Also wonderful customer service! The owners are so friendly and they are still at the window sometimes.
google avatar

Zenobia C.

Yelp
Why do folks stand in a line in pretty much any weather for a grab n go coffee and pastry? Several reasons. Because it is a grab n go. No tables to wait for. It's only open Fridays - Sundays so we have something to look forward to. The pastries are not 'run of the mill' either! Some are seasonal so if you loved a certain pastry, and it's seasonal, you'll have to wait for next year. Last week I got their Mango & Jasmine Rice Pudding Danish! So delicious that I came back this week for another one. It's seasonal. Bummer! So I got the Boston Cream Cruffin and can't wait to bite into it! I love having a delightful experience to look forward to so I will definitely be back. Oh! And the staff at the windows are amazing!

Yelp
What a wonderful place to stop for breakfast and on our way home from ABQ. Our short wait in line was rewarded with tasty pastries, fresh bread and refreshing cold brew. It was fun to interact with fellow pastry seekers at the bakehouse and service was precise and unrushed. Looking forward to our next trip to Albuquerque!
google avatar

Hanna S.

Yelp
We got a variety of treats to go. Outstanding pastries. Our cruffins and chocolate croissants were crunchy, flaky perfection. The freshness was obvious in everything. Nothing was obnoxiously sweet. The red chile bread had a glorious chewy crust and a distinct chile kick. It was wonderful with butter. The only thing we didn't love was the special turnip and mushroom pizza. A strange mix of flavors that came across as an unsuccessful experiment. Cappuccinos were widely enjoyed, but were not as special as the pastries and bread. All in all, you can't do better for baked goods in Albuquerque.
google avatar

Yelen P.

Yelp
The man in the window commented that we were getting all the bread. Which we did. We didn't come to play. So let's get down to the serious business of bread. After we got our items, we sat at a bench in a nearby park to try everything. As we ate, the shade was replaced by the sun, making it very hot. Each item gradually added to build up to an overall delectable experience that made us feel even warmer, and we had to get up several times during eating so as to reorient ourselves so that we could regain our wits and continue on with the next item. Service: the line wrapped around the corner of the building, and it took 20 minutes to get to the window. Too long to make me want to go back at ~10am. The wait to get the food was much shorter. Ambiance: not much ambiance. The employees were friendly, but it felt a bit impersonal (more of a go-to-the-window-and-get-your-food) as they were trying to serve many people. Food: Breads: Red chile loaf - I almost didn't get this, but it was a last-second addition, and I'm glad I did. It's got a good spicy kick, and there are occasional garlic pieces. It sniffs so good, the inside is red, and you can see the red chile diffusely throughout. Pistachio pear cardamom loaf - the pears were pretty sparse, and I wish there were more. The pistachio isn't terribly noticeable. But the cardamom flavor was great. Pinon, pecorino, black pepper loaf - this was really good. Possibly my favorite item, and definitely my favorite bread. Unique combination of flavors. There were chunks of pecorino cheese, including one sticking out the side of the bread (fun), but I think there should be more cheese. I think it would also be good with melted cheese (warm up the loaf), which one could try at home. Pastries: Plum danish - the plum is tasty but it's a pretty standard pastry and not the most exciting one Calamansi danish (curd, almond poppy crumble + lemon glaze) - tasty, citrus is always a good choice. The almond poppy crumble is memorable visually but stands out less taste-wise. Seasonal jam bun (strawberry? rhubarb) - one of my favorites. The rhubarb is really good. Could use a little more jam though. Boston cream cruffin - a sensual dessert. I had to clear my throat after watching the way the cream oozed out of the bottom. The inside was moist from the cream. Banana miso butterscotch seasonal danish - so good and delectable. The butterscotch + miso cream made the inside nice and moist, like the Boston cream cruffin Tomato pesto and chèvre seasonal danish - a savory pastry that isn't unique but was very well done. I usually don't get the same thing twice, but this is something that I would get again. Green chile and jack cheese croissant - excellent flavor, presentation, texture

Yelp
Looking at the ratings, our thoughts are not exactly what others think. We have been looking for a local bakery where we could pick up some bread for the Thanksgiving holiday. We have family coming in and wanted a step up from standard grocery store fare, without baking it ourselves. My wife found the Burque Bakehouse online and we decided to make a run to it and see if they had what we wanted. They did not have standard white loaf bread offered, but based on recommendations by the lady in line we picked up a loaf of their red chile bread. We also tried a ham and cheese croissant, an almond croissant, an apple danish, and a green chile cheese croissant. The red chile bread was interesting and made a decent sandwich using a smear of cream cheese and some black forest ham. It was ok, but we both tired of the flavor long before we finished the loaf. The ham and cheese croissant we ate fresh from the bakery and it foretold the consistent experience we had. The taste was ok, but all the bread was dense. None of it was as light as a good croissant should be. Of the items we purchased and tried, I liked the apple danish the best. The apple mixture reminded me of a good Dutch apple pie. As with all, the pastry was dense. This may have been an off day so we will try them again sometime. The length of the line outside the shop shows people love this little shop and I urge everyone to give local businesses like this a try. I don't want to dissuade anyone from giving them a try based on this first visit. Also, there is virtually no seating. This is a walk up, order at one window and pickup at another when your number is called. Also, they close when they sell out so if you're headed that way late in their hours, keep that in mind.
google avatar

Riley M.

Yelp
The cutest little building, walking up to the counter their display is visually stunning with so many options to choose from. I believe my order was taken by one of the owners, he was very friendly and helpful. I got a loaf of sourdough and some of their pizza dough. Possibly one of the best pizzas i've had it was crispy and similar to a wood oven pizza, will definitely get again.
google avatar

Liz J.

Yelp
Got there on a weekday at about 10ish and there was about 10 people in line. Took about 10 minutes to get to ordering window. Another 5 minutes to be handed the goods ( I didn't order coffee). The gentleman taking orders was polite and friendly. They had all the pastries I was wanting in stock. All the pastries were pretty good. I was really looking forward to the Kouign Amann because it's my favorite pastry and this is the only place in town that I've found sells them. Alas, it fell short of my expectations. I knew looking at it that it probably wouldn't be great because it's short and flat and too brown. My favorite Kouign amanns are taller like a muffin to allow for more flaky buttery layers on the inside. This one had very few layers on the inside that weren't on the verge of being burnt. There was also a thick layer of caramelized sugar on the bottom- which was too sweet and crunchy for my taste. Overall I'd say this place has above average pastries for ABQ but maybe just average compared to other big city bakeries. And fyi I don't think they have indoor seating. Small parking lot in the back but I had no trouble finding street parking close by.
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
Opens at 8 and you better be ready/queued up by 7:45 if you want to be first (at least for a Saturday/weekend)! There is lot parking and street parking around the neighborhood, and they have a couple of diner stools at one point in the line. They seem to be aware of their demand and it's not like if you get there at 10 everything is sold out, but we enjoyed going early just to be sure! We went with the baguette, piñon pecorino black pepper loaf, elote danish, coconut coil, plum pistachio danish, and olla cold brew! The barista is super friendly and offered some recommendations, but it doesn't seem like you can make a bad choice here! Everything was amazing and we'd order all items again, but the favorites for us were the piñon pecorino pepper loaf, elote danish, and coconut coil! We highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back the next time we're in town to try more of the menu!

Yelp
Everything I tasted was incredible! I did the pre-Thanksgiving online order and then added more pastries when I picked it up to take to the office. The line was around the building when I got there about 10 min before opening, which is a sign of how good the place is! The employees were all very friendly and I got my order quickly once I got to the front of the line.
google avatar

Paige A.

Yelp
Yes, so good. Get in that line! Almond croissants, scones, and the savory danishes are my favorites... Worth the money, worth the wait. Friendly staff, charming little spot.
google avatar

Miller G.

Yelp
For a "Frenchish" bakery the Burque Bakehouse is decent. There appeared to be a major hype for it as I stood in line with others waiting to order and then receive my order. Because it was my first time there I ordered several items off the menu. Some items were hits and some were misses. If everything I ordered was a hit I would have understood the waiting and the hype but some items were right, some were a miss and some were great. I can't say the service was slow, there were just a lot of people. The gentleman taking my order was gracious, listened to me and gave me suggestions which I appreciated. I would appreciate a faster way of getting what I ordered.
google avatar

Brooke J.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible! I arrived a little before they opened and the line was already forming...but it moved quickly and was well worth the wait! I ordered a variety of items and every one of them was amazing! Top bite was the loaf of banana bread with brûléed bananas on top The croissants were flaky, the sourdough was fresh and the cookies were perfectly sweet! This is a must try in ABQ!
google avatar

Hannah C.

Yelp
Fantastic bakery on all accounts. We came around 11am on Saturday and just managed to grab the last cannele (they're ready at 10). Service was super friendly and we loved *everything* we tried. Short of buying one of everything, we got a mix of pastries, a cookie and sourdough. Calamansi danish-- a dream! A solidly tart curd with a fun balance of lemon poppyseed crumble which was unique Elote danish-- choc full of well-seasoned kernels of corn and cheese Dark berry orange blossom cruffin-- perfect layers of laminated dough, and a generous filling with the right amount of floral orange blossom Sesame cookie-- nutty and almost savory in the best way possible Coffeecake-- moist crumb, generous streusel topping Cannele-- So perfect!! Crunchy exterior with a great height, and a soft custardy filling Black pepper/pecorino/pine nut sourdough had us over the moon. Flavorful and savory with melty bits of cheese when toasted, this was perfect with lightly salted creamy soft scrambled eggs on top 100% worth visiting!
google avatar

Amina N.

Yelp
So delicious!! Everything was super fresh & flavorful. Pastries were baked to perfection & the bread was perfectly chewy. Worth the wait.
google avatar

Kitty C.

Yelp
Definitely the best bakery in Albuquerque. When I'm able to stop by I end up eating pastries instead of meals for a day. Everything is so delicious I can't save anything. Don't let the long lines scare you away. The line moves fast the customer service at the counter is friendly and knowledgeable. I only wish they were open everyday. I would love to see them expand to a more central location, so I could visit more often.
google avatar

Yelp
An unsolicited ranking of Burque Bakehouse pastries that we've tried over the course of all our visits: Lavender Cruffin Coconut Coil Pineapple Danish Calamasi Danish Boston Creme Cruffin Artichoke and Pine Nut Danish Twice Baked Almond Croissant Pear Croissant Toast Green Chile Croissant Roasted Tomato Danish Elote Danish My least favorite was the Elote Danish from last summer. The flavor was spot on, however, the baked corn felt dry and claggy. Of the current offerings, don't sleep on the Pineapple Danish - it's a delightful tropical party in your mouth. When we have visitors in town, we make it a point to stop in so that they get to experience it as well. On weekends, there's usually a surge around 10-11 so be prepared to wait, but people are friendly in line and we usually get everything fairly quickly. We've tried many of their offerings and I would happily eat most of them again!
google avatar

Steve M.

Yelp
Wow, so many choices, all top quality. A bread lover's paradise. We bought the pepper cheese bread and it was delicious. Scone was dry and crumbly like we enjoy them. And it was a rainy day, so no line.
google avatar

Virginia H.

Yelp
I love this place. They have such interesting flavor combos! Always a surprise and always delicious. Worth the waits in line!
google avatar

Joseph L.

Yelp
So good. Wish they had a place where you could sit with coffee and their delicious baked goods. They need to open a shop.
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
If you dream of eating pastries in Paris, but can't afford the travel: all you have to do is wait in a happy little line - only a quick drive necessary! And I truly mean a happy little line. Everyone standing on this sidewalk is bouncing with excitement for the perfection about to hit their enamored taste buds. You'll want to get one of everything, and honestly I'm not going to talk you out of it. That is a choice I just don't think you'll regret. Get a lovely latte, too. There is nothing this bakehouse is selling that isn't worth your time! Get there early, and know which days they're open. Everything from the pastries to the service is an absolute dream!

Ralph B.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting and way over priced for serving raw inedible pastry's. Will not be returning
google avatar

Vanessa P.

Yelp
Our go-to for bread and pastry treats. Just a little walk-up place, with a smattering of stools along each side for those waiting to order or pick up. Their coffees are on the small side for the price, but they use Cutbow coffee, so it's good stuff. We are always greeted with kindness and served efficiently. The seasonal pastries are always a must try for us, because they may not be there next time you visit. I have taken many out-of-towners there, and we've been pre-ordering for the past two Thanksgiving holidays, so it has started to become a tradition of our own. Cannot recommend the Bakehouse highly enough. Ten stars!
google avatar

Swati B.

Yelp
So good. It's located in a very small unassuming little building, but you can always tell where it is because of the line of folks. I love how they do different seasonal breads and pastries. Their selection of savory pastries are amazing. I've gone several times, and have purchased some when I am going to visit someone, and they are always impressed with the quality.
google avatar

Scott J.

Yelp
Oh, what a bakery....top knotch everything here Pre-ordered for the holiday and stood in line to pick it up... Took awhile because it's no secret this bakery rules. Not much parking but worth a stop any time of year
google avatar

Yelp
Our go-to bakery in Albuquerque, whether it's for a loaf of bread, or a dessert. The building itself is quite small, and you'll need to park in the small lot, then exit your car and walk up to the service window to make your order. The experience is an unusual one and fees like something out of times gone by, but is nonetheless somehow refreshingly local. The menu rotates regularly, and I've not been disappointed by any of the offerings. This is an excellent place to not worry about "what's good" and simply explore what you like.

Yelp
I am an Albuquerque native who moved away about five years ago. I was able to go back and visit last week, and I stumbled on The Burque Bakehouse. This was an incredible find, and a hidden gem. There was a line around the corner, but it has a designated parking lot and street parking. I did not have to wait more than five minutes to order. I was overwhelmed when I got to the window because everything looked so good, so I got a smattering of pastries. I did not try the coffee but I would like to come back to try it. I tried the green chile croissant as I needed to get my green chile fix while home. It was sweet and spicy, which I did not expect, but it was very good. I bought an almond croissant for a friend and she said it was great. My favorite items were the coconut pastry and the blueberry pecan maple scone and the coconut coil. I also shared some chocolate chip cookies and a small coffee cake, and everyone agreed they were excellent. This cool and quaint little shop is such a wonderful addition to the downtown Albuquerque area. If you are in the area, stop bye! You will not regret it.

Yelp
The Burque Bakehouse had of the most beautiful and innovative pastries. The green chili and jack cheese crossiant was fabulous with balanced flavors; a bit spicy, savory with cheese umami, and sweet! The persimmon and pastry cream danish highlighted the fruit flavors and wasn't too sweet. The iced latte was smooth and delicious, and is some of the best coffee I've had in my short visit to Albuquerque.

Yelp
I never skip this place when I come to Albuquerque.! The coffee and pastry's never disappoint. Drinks are not crazy sweet so if you are used to/ like sweet drinks you may want to ask for extra sweetener but I love the way they normally come. Service is amazing too! They are always so friendly and happy to help you.

Yelp
Best bakery experience in Albuquerque. Get there early but remember the wait is worth it. The pastry's are like art. So colorful and well appointed and they taste amazing.
