The Butcher's Grille - Review - Tanglewood - Houston - The Infatuation

"The Butcher's Grille is a Lebanese spot from Dearborn, Michigan, and their new restaurant in Tanglewood is their first location away from home. Here, flame-grilled halal meats and other traditional Lebanese dishes meet American bar staples—think crispy shawarma egg rolls, fried halloumi sticks, and stacked burgers topped with onion rings the size of bracelets. There's no alcohol, but there are mocktails like rose water spritzes and smokey jalapeño margaritas. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Brooke Viggiano

The service was great. The ambience was awesome. But, the food did not live up to the hype. I don’t know if my tastebuds have higher expectations or rest don’t have enough experience to flavor. I honestly can find better beef steak in Lahore, Pakistan. Same goes for the butcher board. Not recommended to waste money on food. Creamy Chicken with Pilaf.. my daughter actually threw up to it.

Yet another 5-star experience at The Butcher’s Grille! This was my 3rd visit, and it was the best visit yet due to our server Tran’s kindness and excellent attention to service. Tran checked in on us at just the right frequency to where we could ask for refills, extra plates, etc. without feeling overwhelmed by constant check ins. This was a special visit for my sister’s graduation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better family lunch experience. The food was spectacular, and we all left stuffed from all the delicious plates! We ordered a large variety of appetizers that were all fantastic, including the tasty mouhammara recommended by Tran. Making the reservation was so easy, and they accommodated our large party without issue. The Butcher’s Grille has become a staple dining location for me, and we made our families also realize what a gem we have in this restaurant! We’ll certainly be back and hope to have Tran as our server again since she was WONDERFUL!

🔥🔥🔥 Can't recommend Butcher's Grill enough! 😍 Best halal food in Houston! The Steaks, Wraps, Mix Grill were TO DIE FOR 🍖, everything was perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. The ambiance is on point too - chill vibes, perfect for a family dinner or catch-up with friends 🍴. Customer service was TOP NOTCH 💯, staff were super friendly and attentive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND their: - Holly Chicken - Beef Steaks - Mix BBQ 🍞 5/5 stars, will be back for more halal goodness! 😋 #HalalFood #ButchersGrill #FoodComa

We tried this newer restaurant before going to a play in the area. It’s Lebanese with an American infusion. Let me just say WOW! Every item we ate was absolutely wonderful! In our group we had: Creamy Crab Rounds, Pesto Hummus, Baba Ghanouj (an eggplant purée bursting with flavor!), Tomato Kibbeh, chicken and beef shawarma pitas and the grilled chicken plate( the chicken was very tender!). It’s was delicious!! The staff were very friendly but service was a bit slow. We will definitely be back!

Google
Beautiful restaurant with amazing food! I took my family here for a nice Christmas Eve dinner, and we all really enjoyed it! The food was so flavorful, and the drinks were very tasty (and pretty). I also really like how the restaurant is decorated- simple & elegant. Our server, Ahmed, really enhanced our experience as well. He was super kind & attentive, and was cool to chat with as well. Definitely will be back in the future :D

Google
We went for our first time visit on 12/21/25(Fri), it is best to call for a reservation before hand. It was very busy, one of our downsides was that it did take a while for us to get our food. Our server JuanCarlos was very good/exceptional and took care of us. We did have a mishap with one of our ordered items, but the Owner came and made it right. He remediated the situation and we left more than grateful. The food was excellent, definitely worth to get their steaks, and appetizers. Especially given the market for halal steaks in the area, this compares with the best of them. Our service and interaction with the staff/management alone is worth the 5 stars

Google
Great place to have some quality food. Tried the ribeye steak which was delicious and beautifully done. Ahmed took really great care of us. We were celebrating our mom’s birthday. They did a small cake and the the staff sang happy birthday for her. It was overall a fantastic experience! We will definitely visit again. Oh and everything is fully Halal!! Love it!

Google
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. The service made the whole visit even better. Jeancarlo took great care of our table and was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely professional. The atmosphere is relaxed and the menu has great options. We tried the burger and Fatoush and chicken Shawarma. Chicken & Sajoug Skewers. Definitely a spot worth coming back to. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Outstanding dining experience at The Butcher's Grille! I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Butcher's Grille in Houston, and I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Ribeye. I ordered it medium-rare, and when it arrived at our table, it was absolutely perfect. The char on the outside was beautiful, and when I cut into it, the inside was that gorgeous pink I was hoping for. It's rare to find a steakhouse that truly listens to how you want your steak cooked and delivers it exactly right, but The Butcher's Grille nailed it. The meat was tender, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully. The sides complemented the steak wonderfully, and every aspect of our meal showed the care and quality that goes into the food here. Our server was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. If you're looking for a steakhouse in Houston that takes pride in their craft and knows how to cook a perfect steak to your specifications, The Butcher's Grille is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Had a great experience at The Butcher's Grille and I will be returning. This location is where the old Dish Society used to be. Great and beautiful space. Walking in I felt like I was in Lebanon. Beautiful decor, and ambiance was so amazing. I loved every bit of it. The staff was all so attentive and hospitable, they welcomed us with open arms as soon as we walked inside. Let's get to the important stuff here is what we ordered- 1- Frozen Mint Lemonade. So freaking delicious. I usually drink so slow but I chugged my drink because it was that good. 2- Fatoush Salad- delicious and my favorite salad I have had. The hints of pomegranate, the light dressing. Omg I still think about this salad it's so good. 3- Dynamite Shrimp- delicious and a good appetizer option. Loved the presentation of how it was served. 4- Truffle and Co loaded fries. These were so different and good. The waiter recommended these and they did not disappoint. There was a mistake and we were brought out the holy chicken fries out first. Omg those were also freaking delicious. 5- Ribeye steak- this was good. Not the best steak I have had but it was really yummy just a bit chewy for my liking. It came with mashed potatoes which were delicious and so creamy. All in all this was such a great restaurant. Houston def was needing this. I'm so happy we tried it and I can't recommend it enough. I will be returning!

Yelp
We live in Dallas and spending a few days here in Houston. Myself, my wife s d our two kids had dinner at this restaurant, and they exceeded our expectations by far. The restaurant is very clean, the seats are comfortable, the music is great. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the family feast plate because it comes with 10 skewers of protein and you can choose what type of protein, plus it comes with rice, grilled tomato and onion. Also we ordered Tabouleh and hummus and babaghanouj. The meat was tender, the food had right seasoning and most importantly the Tabouleh had the exact amount of oil and lemon. Service: Nikki was our waitress. Let me tell you, she was beyond attentive. We didn't have to even ask for anything. Every time one of us is about to run out of soda, you will see her coming with a refill. Not enough words to describe how good Mikki is. I highly and I mean very highly recommend this restaurant because you will have excellent experience in every category. We will definitely visit this every time we come to Houston.

Yelp
Love the ambiance, style, and location. It's a very outings style restaurant, makes you want to dress nice, and it's very reasonably priced for what it is. I tried the crab balls and Reuben egg roll for appetizers. Reuben egg rolls were awesome, and the dipping sauce with it was great so definitely recommend. The crab balls weren't too special for me, but it wasn't bad either. For entree, I got the butchers burger, which was cooked well and came with a very generous amount of fries, but for me it was too salty because the burger was seasoned heavily and it also had beef bacon, and that combo needs something like avocado or something to reduce the salt (or just less seasoned burgers). Also, for the way everything is presented... I expect something other than ketchup to come with my fries (like that egg roll dip?). Service was friendly, but it does take a while! Water was also hard to come by and we had to order ice with it every time. Overall, definitely would come back, definitely recommend to try, but there are still a couple things to perfect.

Yelp
Visited this place for the first time for my father in law's birthday dinner. Amazing ambiance - very aesthetic and is located in a nice area and has an outdoor area with seats and a fountain around as well. Service was perfect the waiter was super attentive and friendly. The food was great with great prices! Here's what we ordered: For the appetizers, we ordered lentil soup, chicken lemon rice soup, tabbouleh salad, and dynamite shrimp. The soup is good serving for 1 person, loved the lentil soup! The chicken lemon rice was okay. Love tabbouleh salad and it did justice here too. Dynamite shrimp was a treat! For the entrees, we ordered beef kefta pita, chicken taowuk pita, Lebanese burger and the hot n spicy chicken sandwich. We also ordered some truffle fries they were delicious! The burgers come with a serving of French fries. Both the sandwich and Lebanese burger were really good! The beef kefta pita was okay, there was a lot of sauce. The chicken taowuk pita was good I wish there was no coleslaw in it as it doesn't traditionally have that nor ketchup. But overall we had a great time and we were also given a good big piece of chocolate cake as a birthday complimentary treat to celebrate by the end of the dinner. I would definitely go again and try their steak or grill plates. There are two entrances of the parking space when you enter. No fees!

Yelp
New spot in the old Dish Society space. The inside is completely redone and has an upscale vibe. Non alcohol establishment. Service hit and miss. Food was mostly just ok. All meats were a bit over the doneness we asked for. Good: Walnut Shrimp was tasty and the apple added nice brightness. Fattoush salad had a sweet/tart dressing and pomegranate seeds. Lamb chops had great flavor and even though they were medium and not medium rare (what we requested) they were still tender. Carrot cake was not too sweet and the icing was surprisingly light. No so good: Garden Whisperer mocktail was bland. Falafel was hard and dense. Creamy crab rounds - besides the name we wouldn't know there was crab involved. Good flavors on the Grand skewer plate but the chicken tawook was tender but mushy(?) and the other skewers over temp. Overall the place is fine but unless I lived in the apartments above I probably wouldn't make the trip back.

Yelp
Service was EXCELLENT. Waiters were very attentive . The food was excellent and the presentation of the food was outstanding Definitely would recommend this restaurant

Yelp
An export from Dearborn, that I've been hearing raves about, was so excited to try! I didn't realize that it was a part of an apartment complex, so parking is within an apartment complex garage. The first two floors are dedicated to retail parking, and once I found the place, parking was ample! This place is described as refined- yet casual, and I'd have to agree. The menu is vast, with steaks, burgers, loaded fries, and your typical Mediterranean options such as hummus, baba ganouj, and Kibbeh. They also have mocktails- we tasted the rose water spritz, and sunset mimosa. My friend found her spritz to be refreshing but my mimosa was just ok. My friend loved her steak, and said the medium rare was cooked to perfection. She loved the sauce that came with it. I equally loved my burger. It had an onion ring and bacon (beef) that added such great texture and crisp to the burger. It was all perfectly seasoned and mouthwatering to think about now. I could easily see myself visiting again, and I really want to try their loaded fries and hot chicken sandwich next time. I will say my burger took awhile coming out, and my side was then cold. My companion also didn't dig in waiting for my food so her food was cold- this was unfortunate. The place is new, so I do think this is growing pains and worth forgiving given how good everything was. Lastly, I've visited both Egypt and Morocco, and this places interior reminded me of both of those places. Very clean lines, symmetry, and great lighting.

Yelp
I came here with my family after hearing so many good things about this spot and it did not disappoint. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, the main courses were cooked perfectly, and the service made the night even better. The highlight for me was the knafa with ice cream for dessert, it was absolutely amazing. This is definitely a place I would recommend and I will be coming back

Yelp
This was such a delight! I came out tonight with my family for dinner and the food was excellent! We ordered a dynamite loaded fries for the table which we gobbled down, and I ordered the filet mignon. I was a fan of the steak and asparagus, but an even bigger fan of the mashed potatoes! The gravy really knocked it out of the park! 9/10! Not pictured: sweet kale salad (6.5/10- it was fine but it came with goat cheese which I'm not a fan of), a classic cheeseburger (7/10- my brother thought it was alright) and a grand platter (8.5/10- my parents ordered this, they were happy with it.) One thing that could improve is the service. I understand that there are big parties that need more attention than smaller groups but we were waiting for a very long time. Especially since we were in on a weeknight, we expected the service to be a bit faster. Nevertheless I think as long as that's taken care of, we will likely return!

Yelp
Stumbled across The Butcher's Grille on IG and the food just looked amazing! When I read the menu and there were a billion items I wanted to try, I made it a priority to come visit! I love that you can get full off a selection of mezze items! We ordered the hummus and baba ghannouj and they were both fantastic. I wish it came with the fluffy/soft hot pita but it came with thin pita that you can buy at the groceries. It wasn't my favorite but I suppose it works as a mode of transfer for said dip. The pita could utilize an upgrade, though the dips were good. The baba ghannouj is one of the best ones I've tasted in a long time! It was smokey and chunky but creamy at the same time. Topped with pomegranates, it had amazing flavors. I enjoyed it a lot and actually prefer it over the hummus. The grape leaves were citrusy and good. The Mac and cheese balls were alright. I enjoyed it with the tomato sauce it was served on but it wasn't my favorite. The fried halloumi was yum! Battered, fried and topped with honey?! We loved it! The dessert though might've been the most unique dish we had in the meal.. a sweet and savory mix with cheese served hot! Fantastic! The restaurant is halal and does not serve alcohol. It's under an apartment complex so plenty of parking in the lot! The decor was bright and super modern and green! We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely pop back in if in the area!

Yelp
Came here with friends for dinner and we had a great time. Appetizer favorites were the walnut shrimp (tasty twist on an asian dish) and the fattoush salad (pomegranate was a nice refreshing touch). Falafel was rather dense and dry. Crab cheese rounds were lacking in crab flavor. The burger was so so. The skewers were nicely seasoned. The lamb chops were delightfully tender. Carrot cake was tasty and not too heavy.

Yelp
I decided to celebrate my birthday dinner here on a rainy Saturday evening after browsing online and hearing rave reviews about the place and getting excited over the menu. Walking in, the ambience did not disappoint. It looked cozy from the outside, and walking in the gentle lighting along with the beautifully decorated restaurant, I was excited for a lovely time. Unfortunately, it was not a lovely time. The negative review has everything to do with the service, and not the delicious food. We were seated fairly quickly, but once the host handed us our menu, no one acknowledged us for the next 15 minutes, not even to offer us waters. The awkward part was many waiters passed our tables to other groups, some even made eye contact with us, but none offered assistance or even assured us someone is coming. We had to flag down someone bussing to ask if we can get help. When the manager came, not even a hello how are you guys, or offer of drinks, but just a straight "so what can I get you?" The interaction definitely could've been warmer. But we placed all our orders, from appetizers to entrees, then finished with can we just have some waters, which he finally acknowledged that he was just about to ask. Our waiter finally came and repeated our orders, and he halfheartedly said sorry about the wait before rushing to another table. The rest of the dinner felt as great as that intro, we just felt rushed and not that we weren't welcomed, just that we weren't prioritized. Our waiter kept stopping by to ask how our food was, but we barely had time to respond before he moved onto his bigger table. We ordered the Mac and cheese balls and falafels for appetizers, I ordered the rib eye butchers board and hubby got the lamb chops. Perfectly seasoned and super tender meats. There were absolutely no leftovers. The food was excellent, easily a 10/10 on all dishes. That's why it is so disappointing to not have the service complement the exceptional food for a 5 star experience. I get it, we're a small group vs. bigger groups being served. But if we were assured we were going to be taken care of, then absolutely we would've been happy to wait for good food. I was excited to try a birthday dessert, but I didn't even want to see the menu by then because I just wanted to leave. It definitely soured the night in that moment. And it's so disappointing, I really wanted to like this place because the food is an excellent, even amazing experience. But service can make or break that experience, just like it did here.

Yelp
Great infusion of the Mediterranean to Southern Texas. Nothing super fancy, but what a great time. I live in Houston the majority of the year and try to stop by as often as possible !!

Yelp
Nikki took great care of our party and recommended some great dishes so we didn't have to do much thinking or deliberating on what we wanted.

Yelp
Visited this place for the first time yesterday, and it was one of the best overall dining experiences in Houston. The ambiance was nice, and had great lighting and nice indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great, as the waiter frequented our table, and the floor manager checked on us several times. The food items that were notably good was the pesto hummus, which had a garlicky undertone to it. The Butcher's Board - two chicken breasts with their Lebanese inspired sauce, truffle fries, and salad was exquisite. The food was definitely made to order, and the crisp on the fries with the seasoning was perfect. One suggestion for improvement would be the pita bread that came with the hummus - I found it to be subpar despite its nice presentation, as the bread seemed store bought and not prepared in house. Highly suggest for anyone looking for a Mediterranean inspired steak house

Yelp
The atmosphere is very nice and the establishment is very clean. I like that the tables and chairs are comfortable and go very well with the floors. I appreciate that the tables and floors are not sticky and kept clean. The service has been very efficient and friendly. The servers are dressed well in uniform. The cheque and to go boxes are branded. I like the presentation and effort that the butchers grille is putting into providing a good dining experience. I ordered the creamy chicken, the butchers board, and the beef shawarma egg rolls. The creamy chicken is miraculous! Chicken is cooked perfectly, it is moist, well balanced, the cranberry rice is also very delicious and flavorful, mushroom really did the trick! As long as that chicken is cooked the way that I got it, this will be a go to for me! I hate dry and overcooked chicken. The butchers board with rib eye, delicious. The green sauce is very flavorful and not too overwhelming. I asked for my steak medium and they delivered as ordered. The shoestring fries are a deal maker. The salad dressing is refreshing. A bit tangy and very well balanced with the other goodies on the board. The garlic bread is a must, if it was thinly sliced like crostini, it would be an easier grab and bite. Nonetheless amazing!!! The beef shawarma egg rolls were a slight miss because the beef was a little dry. Something more refreshing in them or over them like tabouli or cucumber yogurt dip would enhance it a bit. I felt like the cumin rub on the outside was a little strong. Maybe next time, I'll get the chicken option.

Margaret T.

Yelp
Visiting Houston from San Antonio and we really lucked out with The Butchers Grille for dinner. They have very interesting selections and are in beautiful space with subdued lighting an atmosphere that is both casual and more upscale. They also have very convenient parking. We had the beef shawarma egg rolls for an appetizer which were amazing! We both had beef entrees, I had the Butchers board and my husband had the double skewer plate. My steak was tender and came with a salad and fries that topped it off perfectly. My husband said his dish was excellent as well. I had his rice which I think was basmati and seasoned very well. The staff here is constantly moving and checking on their tables. The manager checked on us as well. Processing are reasonable and we would definitely go back when in town.

Yelp
In terms of service, meals, presentation, vibe; Butcher's is 3 - 5 notches above any other Lebanese restaurant in the City. My wife and I sampled 1/4 of the menu, plan to be back to sample more! A modern twist on standard dishes keeps your palate on its toes

Yelp
This restaurant is so so so goodddd. First off the food is a 11/10 the burgers are to die for both the beef on and chicken one. They are so filling and yummy, ugh I love it. The vibe of the place is perfect. The people there are also all very nice. It was definitely a pleasant lunch experience.

Izzet A.

Yelp
Great restaurant, top middle eastern spot I've been to in Houston. The beef skewers notably were delicious. Ambience and the interior is chic and traditional. Feels very upscale. Staff were all friendly and accommodated all of our requests. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Best Lebanese cuisine in Houston! Plus, the service was great. The hostess, Sierra, was also kind enough to make sure my wife (whose birthday we celebrated) and I had comfortable seating arrangements, especially since I use a wheelchair. As for the remaining staff members, everyone was great and very welcoming. We definitely plan to visit again in the near future.

Yelp
We visited last night with a party of 6 for my birthday. While the restaurant is tastefully decorated and the food is mostly delicious, we were pretty disappointed by the service. The waiter somehow missed writing down one person's order, so when the food came, we were one entree short. That's fine -- mistakes happen. He apologized and put in the order for the steak, and we were assured that it would be out soon. After waiting 10-15 min, the rest of us started eating our food as it was getting cold. We kept getting assurances that it would be out soon, but it didn't come until almost 30 min after the rest of the food and we had all pretty much finished eating by then. And it was overcooked. That is completely unacceptable -- why wouldn't you make sure that it is expedited and comes out asap to rectify the original mistake? And all we got was some lukewarm apology from the manager/owner (I think) and no offer to comp a drink or anything to make up for the ruined dining experience. And to top it off, my husband told them it was my birthday celebration and they brought out a carrot cake with a sparkler candle, which was nice. But then we find out they charged for the birthday dessert! If we were going to be charged for the dessert, then we should have at least had the choice of which dessert we wanted. While we appreciate having the non alcoholic environment and halal food options, there are definitely things to be worked on in the service offered and how you take care of your customers. Especially since the prices are on the higher side.

Yelp
Dear foodie readers, i'm extremely excited to share this review... it's about time Houston got a Lebanese restaurant that is really nice, has delicious food, and great service...our server Tran was wonderful from beginning to end. She had great recommendations, and was genuinely excited to see how much we enjoyed them. Everything we had was extremely fresh, and tasty. The tabbouleh knocks it out of the park, the babaganoush is the best I have had in town, the mixed grill was so flavorful and tender I can't wait to go back for more. We ended it with the kenafeh, yummy yum yum...highly recommend reservations, it's a small place, enjoy!!

Yelp
We could not ask for a more pleasant experience for my wife's birthday . The service was outstanding and only exceeded by the wonderful meal. A surprise birthday cake topped our evening. We will definitely be back for another great experience.

Yelp
Honest to God, the BEST Lebanese restaurant out there (coming from a Lebanese family). We met here for a family reunion and had family driving down from Dallas. Some of our party was running late and they were happy to accommodate for a later reservation. Food was so fun! Authentic dishes were spot on (highly recommend soujok and tomato kibbe ). Fusion dishes were also great. Halloumi sticks were to die for. Very family friendly and kids had a lot of options to choose from. One note I wanted to make was just about our server (I apologize I can't recall her name exactly but it's something like Tam; she's a sweet young lady with long pointy nails - which is an ick in and of itself for someone serving food). To put it simply she was an aggressive server. She was clearly out to make money which I have to respect the grind, but I just wish she toned it down a little bit. She was loud and fast and sometimes startled us with the way she was grabbing plates and moving things around. She definitely took charge that night! We caught on pretty quickly that she wanted some profit that night, with comments like "that's definitely not enough appetizers you need to order more" and "are you sure you don't want the truffle fries they're much better" or "are you sure the kid doesn't want the mozzarella cheeseburger (instead of the junior)?" We come from a working class family and understand these techniques, but we just wish they weren't so shoved in our face (especially when we kept saying no thank you!). All in all I just hope she slows down her pace and helps her tables experience a calm and relaxing night. Other than that, chapeau bas to the Butcher's Grill!!

Yelp
We absolutely love The Butcher's Grill. The atmosphere is relaxed and feels comfortable, with attention to cleanliness as well. The service is excellent and the staff are often offering refills of water as they pass by, which is a plus. There are so many choices of food--from stuffed grape leaves, hummus, and kibbeh to their pitas, salads, and, of course, their steaks! Everything is always served with pride and perfection!

Yelp
We were able to secure a 9pm seating on the Friday of Labor Day weekend for eight assisted by Daliana inside as it's still too hot for their patio seating. We got there on time and were promptly sat, though it was the table by the entrance. But that did not at all affect the great hospitality and service we (three generations and an adult daughter from NYC) enjoyed at the capable hands and friendly demeanor of Danny ! The food was so fresh, and tasty as we tried beef shawarma fries, perfectly cooked falafels, apple kale salads, and a delicious pesto hummus. We were all pleasantly satisfied already, but our exquisitely cooked (medium) main shareable entree of the 10 skewers (4 types of meats) had everyone raving which came with aromatic long grain basmati rice. We finished off a great experience with the strawberry cheesecake and knafeh with vanilla ice cream. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet comfortable and not stuffy and with our plates changed and cleared before each course made this a restaurant we would highly recommend and will be definitely visiting again. Bravo to the chef and entire staff!

Yelp
Our server, Justin, was absolutely perfection with fast service and proper management of the table. He kept up with our table so fast and perfectly even with a family of 8. The table stayed clean and organized. The food was absolutely delicious and with amazing quality meats, foods and cooking. Justin made our meal 20x better though. A good meal is always better with perfect service, thanks again to Justin!!

Yelp
I stopped by with friends to try this place out on Saturday night and it was packed. The place is small so noise carried and it felt suffocating with no A/C. I did not get to try the food since we decided to go elsewhere due to the long wait. Did not like the atmosphere and lack of ventilation.

Yelp
The service was great and the food came out hot and quickly! I got the CBR wrap and it was deliciouss, you don't know how happy I was to have a wrap with halal bacon!!! The fattoush was really fresh and the cheese rolls were crispy and warm, reminded me of the ones I had in Turkey. Would 100% recommend. The ambiance was also great. I see great things for this new restaurant, exactly what Houston needs!

Yelp
Went with a friend on a Saturday night without reservations . Luckily they were able to sit us outside in the back area . Unfortunately, the table we had was right by the back door and sometimes the door would swing a little too much when being opened . Also had a high chair, broom and dust pan in the way of my chair and I had to move it in order to pull my chair out . The restaurant looked beautiful. The baba ghammouj was delicious. The pita bread could improve . Maybe if it's hot it would be better . We also had the creamy chicken with mushroom sauce . It came with a cranberry rice . The dish was excellent. We loved it . For dessert we had the cheesecake - I do not recommend. It was a lot of graham cookie crumble with a lot of cream and little bit of ice cream . No cheesecake to be found . The service was ok . Disappointed that we had to ask for water 3 times . No one comes by to fill water glass . They take your glass to the back and not sure if it's the same glass you get back or someone else's . I gave it 4 stars for cheesecake and service but if I were to rate just those two things I would give it a 2. Also if you are looking for alcoholic drinks , you will not find it here . I will try it again .

Yelp
Very pretty and upscale environment. The ambiance was perfect. The food was fantastic. I had a kale salad and eggplant that was tops. I will be back soon!
