The Caledonian never disappoints. Food is always delicious, service friendly, and atmosphere cozy and fun. One of the best patios in the city. I've been here easily ten times and will definitely come back again.

There's a first time for everything, and today is a fine day to try both haggis in a taste of Scotland platter, or saffron in a luxurious saffron seafood risotto. Thankfully I didn't have to choose between the sausage roll, scotch egg or haggis, which was undoubtedly my favourite of the trio. Deep-fried to a satisfying crispy texture, the interior is tender and bursting with umami along with a delicious gaminess of lamb, which is what makes this animal one of my favourites to eat. I was only disappointed by only having one bite to ration. The sticky toffee pudding is an indulgent treat after eating all that fried stuff, a huge dose of sweetness from the butterscotch and moist, caramelized toffee pudding with chunks of dates inside, contrasted by the cold vanilla ice cream and slight bitterness of the cocoa powder.

This place is like a mini escape to Scotland right here in Toronto! The menu is truly authentic, with classic Scottish dishes that feel like they’ve come straight from a cozy pub in the Highlands. And if you’re a fan of scotch, the selection here is incredible—perfect for sampling and savoring. It’s the ultimate spot to visit on a cold Toronto winter night. The warm, welcoming atmosphere inside makes you feel as though you’ve been transported to a small town in Scotland, complete with hearty flavors and that signature charm. You’ll leave feeling both full and totally transported. A perfect winter retreat! Oh and their patio is fantastic in the spring/summer as well.

You don't have to be scottish to enjoy a visit. 600 whiskeys, some from distilleries that closed so limited stock. Staff and owner are very welcoming. Haggis, deep fried Mars bars, and much more. My wife said it was like her diet when she grew up near Edinburgh. Brilliant place, going back many times

Went for the whiskey tasting event. Host was knowledgeable and friendly. I hit the dish waitress was serving by accident and my fish and chips went flying. They replaced it and cleaned it no problem. Had a fun time with my friends. My friends devoured the mars bar and sticky toffee pudding so I'm sure they are great!

My husband surprised me when he brought me here. We had waited to come for a while. Had a wonderful welcome. Wow, what a range of whisky. Food looked and smelt delicious, too. We never ate as we had a reservation at another place, but we most definitely will be back.

Yesterday was the second time I had dinner at this pub. As with the first time, it was a pleasant experience. I have lived in Canada for 36 years now, and this is the FIRST place I have had authentic sticky toffee pudding! I grew up eating it. The Fish and Chips makes me feel like I am at a pub in London, England. It is not only delicious, but they are so, so generous with the portion sizes! The owner, Donna, comes by to each table, introduces herself and throughout the meal checks in on you to ensure you are having a good experience. I thought that was such a lovely gesture on her part, especially when the place was so busy! The ambience has a rustic feel, elegant, with real plants, including a gorgeous tree, on the patio. It also has sentimental touches, such as the flag of Scotland proudly displayed on a wall. I appreciate the live music they host, highlighting local talent. This is a Gem of a place on College, and definitely a place my friends and family will return over and over again.
