"A place to end the day with cocktails and savory pie." - ByLindsey Tramuta

"No you’re not in London, but yes this is most definitely a British-inspired watering hole. Denoted as such by the three co-founders, who met and worked in the Big Smoke, this pub in the Marais is always popping. You may have to speak an octave higher than normal over the Tears for Fears blasting from the speakers to hear whomever you’re chatting with. While you can book one of the tables or plush velvet banquettes, there’s a room-for-everyone vibe at the living room-esque space (complete with a Chesterfield couch) where the distinguished color scheme includes forest greens and woodsy browns and the deco includes 18th century oil paintings of hounds. The cocktails change regularly, and there’s always a weekly special such as the recent Trance Dance featuring apple, cinnamon, gingerbread, and rum. Menus are in English, and each drink is listed with three easy adjectives to help describe them such as “velvety, earthy, fresh” for the signature Cigarette After Sex, which has been on the menu since the bar opened in 2019." - Sara Lieberman

This bar was on my radar since reading a list of the 100 best bars in the world. On a recent trip to Paris, we made it a point to stop here for some drinks as the start of a great evening. I could make a pretty solid argument for the service at The Cambridge Public House as some of the best in all of the places we drank and dined at during our trip. They were beyond pleasant and very friendly, engaging us in conversation that was more than ‘what would you like’. You can tell immediately that all who work there truly enjoy what they are doing and who they are working with. We ordered some incredible cocktails that will be on my mind for quite some time. A few of us had the sausage roll that hit the spot, the sauce was drinkable! We paired the sausage roll with some local craft beer and were quite pleased with it as well! All of this enjoyment was set to soundtrack that made everything that much better! As we were leaving for the next undecided spot, we asked for recommendations. They have a list of other places they love! Amazing! On my next trip to Paris, I will certainly seek out this great location again!

The cocktails are good and interesting but the server was having to manage too many tables despite it looking like there were staff available so we had to wait longer than we'd have liked between ordering drinks. The sausage roll was okay, I have had better. There is a long list of cocktails to explore.

A good place to have a drink. We were a little confused by the food though. When we arrived they had received a substantial order of fresh produce, then after we order the chicken pie, the bartender pours it out of a plastic bag that had been clearly made and packaged off site. The chicken pie was also luke warm when it arrived. I was expecting steam to come out of it when we broke open the pastry but nothing. Other than that, good bartenders, and a good variety of drinks available.

TL;DR In one word, Go… As it happens many times and definitely one of the best things I love in Paris is that you come across these great places We were heading back home going to the metro and The Cambridge looked like a great place to stop, (lucky use we had a place to seat), and indeed it is To my opinion rightfully earning its place in the world top cocktail bars. We had 3 cocktails all great. And normally I drink straight whiskey… plus a little something to eat Loved the place, we’ll be back

Service here is really incredible. The menu is fun and really has something for everyone. I love the small cocktails they have, it's a great way to try a cocktail without having a whole one and getting too intoxicated.

Surprisingly tasty and innovative recipes given the small and cosy place. It reminds me of those small bars in my neighbourhood, but the drinks are great and definitely earned its way to the top bars in the world. A must-go during your trip to Paris.

It is difficult to get a table without reservations but they always try to accommodate the guests. The mini cocktails are a bit of a hit and miss. The classic cocktails were ok. Liked the atmosphere, very lively place. Certainly a place to enjoy the evening.

Absolutely love this spot! Located in the trendy Les Marais, this cocktail bar might appear to be a European pub from the outside, but it is anything but. These guys are making some great, adventurous, spirit-forward cocktails with u pique flavor combinations. I’m inspired to try putting sesame oil in my Manhattan when I get home now, ha. The staff is super friendly and they offer mini cocktails, which I would highly recommend getting because you can try more variety of flavor profiles. The clientele is upscale, but not stuffy. Friendly, quality, all-around good vibes.
