"Old Town Scottsdale is kind of like a diet Vegas. It’s the best place to come when you’re planning to get rowdy, and the best place to go for dinner to start is The Canal Club. The theme here is 1930s Havana, and the menu puts a modern twist on that, with dishes like fried plantains with smoked black bean puree, pan roasted scallops with creamed masa and chorizo, and a gaucho steak with masa potato cakes. It’s always full of groups who probably have the same plan as you - and there are always events happening at The Canal Club, from game nights every Wednesday to Friday night movies with cocktails and complimentary Mexican street popcorn." - Joanna Boyle

Beautiful place for breakfast, brunch or lunch! The service was excellent, the food amazing and the drinks so good! I really recommend all the food and the espresso martini 10/10. For sure I will to come back.

This place was so cute !!! Loved the vibes ! Went here for a bachelorette brunch with friends and we loved everything about the place. The food was so delicious and the staff were so nice to us since we were such a big party. I would definitely come back here for brunch. The French toast was by far the best on the menu !

We came here for my parent’s 42nd anniversary. The restaurant was nice with a beachy, yet elevated, Cuban atmosphere. The restaurant was empty since it was the day before Thanksgiving. I got the shrimp and grits in a creole sauce. It was fantastic. The grits were creamy and flavorful, and the creole sauce added a little kick to it. For dessert we had the churro doughnut holes. They were dusted with cinnamon and sugar, with vanilla and passion fruit sauce brushed across the dish. It was so good we practically licked the plate. Our server Ally was great as well. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Superb ambience with green aesthetic having beautiful palm plants placed in every corner. The cocktails were great - I tried the cocojito and it was soo refreshing! The chicken pizza with white bean sauce was good. Tried the snapper with avocado rice and it was delicious! One suggestion -They can have more dinner and appetizer options

The Canal Club in Scottsdale, AZ brings 1930s Havana feels! The restaurant, bar and lounge area offer a casual, yet elegant ambiance. We couldn't resist to order Cubano sandwich - juicy braised pork, ham, baby swiss, pickled onions, sweet and spicy pickles, chipotle aioli, Bolillo roll. Delicious! It did take a long time to ask for our bill and it took 5+ minutes to get our bill. Other than that the service is really good and attentive. I felt perhaps it's summer time and they were not fully staffed. We were not in a hurry anyways - we were on vacation!

The Canal Club at the Scott Resort in Scottsdale offers a fantastic atmosphere with a stylish restaurant lounge and inviting patio options. The decor and ambiance are superb, reflecting a vintage Havana vibe with lush greenery and chic furnishings. I ordered the Cubano sandwich, which was fantastic. The bread was great with a lot of crunch, and the flavors were spot on. The fries were also tasty and complemented the sandwich perfectly. My buddy had the Pulled Chicken Torta, which he enjoyed, but was not blown away by. The combination of flavors and the quality of the ingredients were satisfying. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. It took a long time for us to be greeted. When the server finally arrived, she said, “I know you just sat down, so I will give you a few minutes.” We had actually been waiting for a while and were ready to order. The wait for our lunch wasn't long, but the person who brought it out was rude and not friendly at all. Our server returned later to check on us, and I asked for a refill on my iced tea, which took a while to get. By then, my buddy needed a refill too, but the server ignored him. When she finally came back to see if we wanted anything else, we just asked for the check. Our iced teas sat there empty, and it would have been nice to have a refill given how small the glasses were so we could visit a while longer while sipping the tea. The server seemed off-putting, like she was too good to be working as a server. Despite the poor service, the meal and atmosphere were quite nice. The Canal Club has a lot of potential, and I hope they can improve their service to match the quality of their food and ambiance.

A little slice of paradise but the reason I love it is because of chef Jazz, she kills it every damn time!!!!! Her food is ammmmmmazing and her awesome personality/vibe can be felt through the entire restaurant. You can tell the staff love her and she trained them well because they are on point!!! Can't wait to bring more friends to enjoy Chef Jazz's amazing food, feel the love and drink some cocktails here💖

The Canal Club in Scottsdale, Arizona offers an exceptional and high-quality experience with Caribbean-inspired flavors. We started with the tostones with refried beans, which were simply mind-blowing. Naturally, I had to try the Cuban sandwich. While it slightly differs from the traditional Cuban sandwich I grew up with, it boasts its own unique sazon. I absolutely love this place—the service, the ambiance, everything it offers. Visiting The Canal Club is always a highlight whenever we come down from New York. Cheers!
