Google
they have a kot of food choices aside from the food truck outside. Inside they have sushi, bubble, coffee and ice cream. We ordered pasta from Parma and burger from so cheesy. Pasta can be sharable. Pasta and burger tatse good. Prices were decent. The covered dining area is clean. Getting your order needs a little time since they cook it upon order. Nice place to grab quick bites.

Worth the drive! We went to The Canteen on a Sunday night with my daughters after craving a late-night snack and some boba. We drove about 30–35 minutes after I came across this spot on Google, and I can confidently say it was absolutely worth it. Parking was very easy to navigate with multiple entrances and plenty of spots available. The only small suggestion would be having someone pick up trash in the parking lot but it was very windy that day, so maybe blew in. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the manager who explained how everything worked and offered help since it was our first time. He walked us through the QR code ordering system at the tables, which allows you to order from multiple vendors on one single tab instead of paying each vendor separately. That was super convenient, especially since it was cold and lightly snowing outside. The food and drinks were brought right to our table, and the wait time was very reasonable. We ordered drinks from Z’s highly, highly recommend! We would definitely come back just for the drinks alone. We also tried the shawarma and it was easily a 5/5. We stayed for a bit, and the manager checked in on us again to make sure we were doing okay. The service truly stood out staff were consistently cleaning tables as people left, and everything felt well-managed. Overall, we had a great experience and will absolutely recommend this place to others. We’ll definitely be back!

Visited The Canteen for the first time last weekend and I was impressed! There were a handful of food trucks outside and a few spots inside too, with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. You can pay with cash at the windows, but if you’re using a card, just scan the QR code, super easy! All the vendors pop up on one site, and they text you when your order’s ready. I tried So Cheesy, and if you like spicy, the Hot Cheesus Burger is just that! I dipped it in the sriracha BBQ sauce (probably didn’t need to, but it was worth it 😂). It was hot but good, maybe could’ve used a touch more seasoning, but I have no complaints. The fried cheese patty at the bottom (like a giant mozzarella stick!) really sealed the deal for me. I can’t wait to come back and try more! I also realized after I left that The Custard Co. was there too, so that’s definitely on my list next time!

Google
I visited The Canteen at Midtown and really enjoyed the experience. The place has a great variety of food trucks, so there’s something for everyone to try. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a fun spot to hang out with friends or family. I gave it 4 stars because while the food was tasty, some trucks had longer wait times, but overall it’s a spot I’d happily return to.

Google
I'm loving this concept. A permanent food truck round-up. Downside is all weather related. Cold/snow or rain could keep this place empty, I suspect. But spring, summer & fall are terrific for outdoor dining. There is indoor space, as well, for those inevitable cold/wet/frozen days. It's an 80°+ day in October so I'm going to enjoy eating al fresco. 😋 Ordering is simple. Pick a seat. Scan the QR code. Pick the cuisine you desire & order it. All without lines. Your order is brought directly to your table. Can't get much easier than that, unless you want someone to eat it for you. Food arrived after 5-ish minutes. Okay, it was in a plastic clamshell, albeit reusable. And it wasn't as warm as it should've been. Flavor was good, quantity seemed a bit light for the $16 price. Can't really speak about the service as, other than delivering it to me, there was no interaction at all.

Google
I finally had an opportunity to visit The Canteen at Midtown in Dearborn. I love the setup! There are indoor restaurants and seating and there are outdoor restaurants and seating. The indoor & outdoor seating areas were clean. I really like the comfy chairs! The food was good with a variety of choices. Due to the location, at lunchtime, this place can get quite busy. There are plenty of staff working and they are all helpful. My only caution is... The food can be a little slow coming out so if you plan to come during your lunch break, order ahead so it's ready when you get there. Your full lunch break can be used for relaxing & eating. You'll thank me later. Enjoy! Note: You order your food online and pay by card online. Only cash is accepted at the window.

Google
Such a cool place to have different kinds of food trucks where food gets delivered to your table. It was really awesome to maintain this kind of service. We tried famous Yemeni tea and brownie sundae which were delicious.

Google
Nami is delicious and has a few vegan options. They're not listed as vegan on the menu but you can ask them and they'll offer a bunch of suggestions. I got the Tempura Garden. It's just one roll so a little pricey if you're real hungry but seems like top notch ingredients.

Yelp
Super amazing idea . Great food trucks getting together and hitting the spot of everyone in your party . No one has to sacrifice cravings . Eat whatever you feel like . The kids servicing the tables are on point and the ambiance indoors and outdoors is super chill

Yelp
I really like this spot! I've tried items from a few of the food trucks and everything has been delicious and fresh. I was most skeptical of the sushi spot, but that even blew me away! The sushi burrito is amazing. The place is pretty large but still gets very crowded at times, but this is a good place to bring a large group. The service is also good and the food comes out fast.

Yelp
Genius concept. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Bathrooms inside. Many food trucks outside with fun summer night vibe with lights and various sizes in table with and without umbrellas. Super cute mural. We ordered from same food trucks so our food would come out at same time. They have QR code you scan at your table and it brings up menus for all trucks and they bring your food to your table after paying with credit card. If you want to order direct at food trucks, its cash only. We wanted shawarma but they were sold out so we picked so cheesy for our dinner. It was just before 9pm on Friday night and it took almost 30 minutes for our food which was biggest drawback. But it was super yummy.

Yelp
This was such a cool spot to try a variety of great food! It is laid out like a food hall and once you sit at a table you scan the QR code on the table to order food from as many vendors as you like. You pay through the app well. Super convenient! There was no one at the door when walking in so it was a little confusing on what to do and where to go at first. We also could not find a station for any silverware which would have been nice. I ate from Nami Sushi and got some seasoned corn called Tomorokoshi and a crab filled Omusubi. The corn was a bit tough to eat as I accidentally kept eating the rind overall 4/5 I had the best chai tea i have ever tasted from Qahwah House. I am still dreaming about it haha. 5/5. From the Terry Melt we got the Chicken Parm Melt with fries and a side of dill pickle ranch. The chicken was a bit dry and I wish there was more flavor so I would give that a 3/5. From the So Cheesy vendor we ordered the Old Bay Fish & Chips and I fell in love! Would go back there just for that! 10/5! I didn't have a chance to try Amo Sami's Shawarma but I would love to come back to try them out!

Yelp
Food hall to eat at, some inside eateries inside the hall. Private area for parties. 4-6 food trucks in the parking lot and seating outside as well as an outside tented area. There is an app to order from any spot in here, that works for a group to order and pay. The app wasn't working for our team today. Had to use Apple Pay. Grabbed some lunch with my colleagues. So Cheesy: Old Bay fish and chips, truffle burger; Terry Melt: Rueben melt, chicken melt with Cajun fries; The Munch Box: chicken Caesar salad and some drinks. Ended with a fiery mango boba from Z's with tapioca and mango bubbles and a Turkish coffee from Qahwah house. Caesar salad was as expected. The truffle burger and the fish and chips were good. The spicy chicken melt was quite tasty, lots of flavor, heat and creamy too. The Cajun fries are just okay. The Rueben melt was good for my colleague, plain fries were so-so. The Turkish coffee is made on the electric stove top. It was piping hot. It was good. The fiery mango was different, but I wouldn't get the it again though.

Yelp
You can order from a table inside our outside using your phone. This is prob the ideal way. If you want you can go around to each truck as well. If you order Fri a table there is staff that will bring it to you which is nice. Hand full of good options. All the food we had tasted good. The crab Rangoon egg roll were awesome. The deserts from the place inside looked delicious as well. There are bathrooms located inside, plenty of seating and TV's as well. Glad we stumbled upon this place.

Yelp
I love how the Canteen is set up, the day that I went it was cold and raining, so being able to order inside was a plus. They have a QR code on the table that pulls up all the food trucks that are located there and you can place one big order at multiple trucks at one time and they bring the food to you.

Yelp
What a cool concept the canteen is you have Qahwah House La Fork, the custard company, Zee's bubble tea the munch box Terry melt the chicken coop so cheesy and a few other others all in one location you can order and pay through the app one time and pay for one bill with multiple spots and tons of options because of it, the inside is clean people are constantly walking around, wiping up tables, making sure everything is in order

Yelp
Love this concept! A food hall/truck park that serves up different foods all in one place. The convenience of scanning a QR code and ordering right at your table is amazing. I wish there were more places like this. The variety is good, but if you go too early, certain food trucks may not be open and serving yet. Prices are a bit pricey for food truck food. Overall, great place to meet up with friends. Wish there were more drink options.

Yelp
I absolutely love food halls, so I'm super happy that another one opened near the Detroit area. The actual building is really nice and has plenty of seating indoors and there's a huge outdoor space as well with nice lighting. There are both food trucks outside, as well as indoor restaurants. They have everything ranging from sushi, shawarmas, burgers, pastas, coffee, dessert, etc. The Nami sushi was good, and the crab rangoon egg rolls are incredible. I also got a chicken shawarma, which was probably one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend checking this place out with some friends.

Yelp
Do you know this place is absolutely awesome who would not want to have eight restaurants/food trucks in the same area it reminds me of down in Florida I will definitely be back to this place. next to Fairlane Mall in Dearborn, Michigan is this hidden gem. We tried two of the restaurants while we were here. We did not try all eight. But I tried the ( terry melt ) I had the steak melt and it was 10 out of 10. It taste like a beef stroganoff sandwich Texas toast the french fries were absolutely amazing. My girlfriend went with the restaurant the (lunchbox) and had the cowboy sliders they had house sauce, bacon, sweet pickle unique taste to say the least absolutely love my time here you should check it out. Everyone was super friendly. Everything was super organized. Had a great time.

Yelp
I went to this establishment on yesterday to end celebrating my Cousin's birthday and left very disappointe! The young man working at the Chicken Coop called my cousin a THIEF and said she stole her friends food, the same food he GAVE her! He was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. The employees are your first contact and they need to know how to conduct themselves in a way that makes customers want to return and tell their friends about their experience...this was not that! Now, the manager was very apologetic to my cousin and our group, but this experience has made me think twice about taking my family there. I hope they understand that Customer Service is KEY..it's literally the lifeline of your business.

Yelp
This is a heck of a place. You can sit where ever and order your food from a Qr scanner. They will bring it to your table. They have outside seating and inside seating and outside seating this place is everything. They even have a rentable space area

Yelp
I take a group of senior citizens out for work once a month for our lunch club. I usually like to take them somewhere new, buzzworthy, or somewhere they wouldn't go on their own and from yelp reviews I chose this for February. I missed the part where you had to order from the barcode on the table and found out when we arrived. I was concerned because most seniors don't like technology and don't know how to do that. Thankfully there was a server there who was amazing and helped me help all of them order. By time we were done they were so happy they learned something new, the food was amazing and the service was awesome! Very helpful. I had the steak melt from the Terry Melt truck for something different. It was really good I was kind of surprised seeing all we went through to order. Everyone's food came out as close together as they could get it and there wasn't one person who didn't enjoy their lunch and the experience. I'm posting the pics for some of the other dishes that were tried from the other trucks but didn't eat them but I can say everyone enjoyed what they had

Yelp
Delicious verity of halal food with a great energetic environment and lots of board games to play when you're waiting

Yelp
Never trying this place agin 20 dollars for one sandwich from the terry melt and sick to my stomach!

Maria K.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious. Had the sushi burrito and smashed cucumber salad and it was so good I didn't even want to take the last bite. A meal to remember!
