Our first meal in Dufftown was at the Capercaillie, and it did not disappoint! The kitchen team has put together an amazing menu that highlights a lot of locally-sourced ingredients & gives special attention to Scottish-made dishes. We tried a wide range of their tapas/small plates, include the crispy North Sea squid, haggis scotch egg, satay cauliflower, braised beef cheese, venison salami, and roast tenderstem. Everything was so delicious and there is a wide selection for all dietary needs.
