The 10 Best Things To Eat At Truist Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Biscuit from the Big League Platter This huge platter comes with just-fine ribs—a little chewy but the sauce does enough to make them finger licking. But you should focus on the biscuit. It’s worth taking detours, standing in lines, and maybe even missing the first pitch (no offense, Spencer Schwellenbach). It’s softball-sized, buttery, and so fluffy and sweet it’s basically a dessert. In fact, you wouldn’t be wrong to dip it in ice cream." - juli horsford, nina reeder, jacinta howard

The steak was delightful and I may consider ordering it again. The vegetables could have been prepared a bit better, but they were satisfactory. The dessert was clearly microwaved and not homemade. It tasted like a pre-packaged dessert that was heated in the microwave to make it warm. However, the Manhattan cocktail was absolutely fantastic and the ambiance was pleasant. The customer service was exceptional.

Live music, if you like, and a nice band’s playing outside next to the entrance door. So, don’t worry if the music is loud unless you don’t want to hear your date. Just stare at each other and fall in love and hire the band to play at your wedding. Anyway, I was amazed. Not because they played good music but the place looked quite old inside but the food was delicious. Hubby ordered a medium steak but was a bit overcooked but had a good taste. My capellini with blackened shrimp in tomato sauce was fantastic! That was a perfect dish, little capellini and flavorful blackened shrimp and a perfect taste of tomato sauce, just the way I like it. Our friend has a medium rare steak and fish and chip. The fish and chip was pretty good. I would go back for the shrimp dish. Our server did a great job taking care of our table. Great music, delicious meals. Thank you!

Google
Nice little bar and restaurant. The food was okay. If you are looking for a good steak or prime rib, I wouldn't really go here for the price you are paying. Brussel sprouts and sides were good. The beef, not so much. Friendly staff/ establishment. However, for the price I'm paying for a steak, I expected a higher execution.

This place was top notch. I was in town and wanted some chill but super tasty and The Carvery delivered! Excellent charcuterie and French onion soup. The staff was awesome too and super cool aesthetic. Loved this place!!!!

Google
we were there in a cold friday nite so the live music is inside from an indoor balcony (yeah!) otherwise it would be outside on the fenced in sidewalk). food is very good but just a little short on variety, drinks are very good as well. the service is friendly & excellent >> great atmosphere, reminded me of fab. restos of old (NYC village, hollywood east...) definitely will come back & whole-heartedly recommend it.

Party of four came here for our first experience. From the start it was weird. When the hostess helped us she told us, we’d seat you BUT it will be 10-15 minutes b/c we don’t want to stress out the server. Mind you, there are at least 5 open tables we could sit down at just to wait to be helped. I asked if we could just at least sit down ( b/c there are no seats at the front and no waiting area), but again I was given the ‘we don’t wanna stress our servers out’ excuse. So far, not happy with this experience. Took 30 minutes to be seated and another 6 minutes to be greeted by our server. 16 minutes to get our drinks (2 sodas, 1 kid water and a cocktail). Took maybe 30 minutes for our food to come out but when it did…. It was all sooo good!! I had the ribeye: so tender and juicy. Best friend had the glazed salmon with the mashed potatoes: omg. The flavor in the salmon was perfect along with the glaze (she got extra glaze on the side and I dipped my steak into it.. perfection). My daughter had the southwest salad: she absolutely LOVED it Little person had fries: some of the best fries I’ve ever tasted What they lacked in service they make up for in food. I would recommend a try to this place. Your tastebuds won’t be disappointed

First off I want to say the 2 stars I am giving today are 100% because of the food. The staff was great. The hostess was very polite and professional and the serving staff was cheerful and knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu. Thank you Ricki and Kayla ! The food ! Wow , so we stated with the charcuterie and cheese board, beautifully plated with lots of colors. Delicious, that danish blue , so pungent, so good. Next was the French onion soup. If this is on the menu I always get it. This one was meh 😑, very sweet , not sure what stock they used. Not terrible, but different. The first main was the “Pan seared halibut with forbidden rice” , 100% mouth garbage. First off we eat with our eyes and my eyes barfed when this plate came out. Boring, the fish was over cooked and most likely re heated several times. The asparagus was over cooked and limp. The forbidden rice should be forbidden from being sold , the rice was under seasoned and over cooked. And lastly the sauce in the ramekin so fowl I couldn’t even identify it. Super disappointed at $33 Lastly was the Prime rib in , meat was ok , little tough, but the au jsu tasted like straight up hot dogs 🌭, it’s like the took hot dog water and rendered it down. I also got both of the mashed potatoes, both were very bland , I really want to taste the poblanos in the poblano mashed potatoes, but I tasted nothing , The worst. So if you want a drink and a charcuterie and cheese board then this is the place. Not a spot for a nice dinner. ☹️ Maybe I just got the B squad in the kitchen on the day I went. I will be back , one more time.

Gorgeous restaurant with fun art deco architecture design. Live band, great hand-crafted cocktails. Decent Food! Great service!

Yelp
Everything was awesome! The bartender was the waitress, busboy and manager! The prime rib, wedge salad and French onion soup was all tasty. The 4.8 is because they are in downtown Long Beach barely surviving in a market on Pine Ave. that no one wants to visit! My opinion, come visit 201 Pine Ave. and let this business grow and flourish!

Yelp
My son and I got the spinach and artichoke dip which was pretty good. He got the prime rib sandwich and loved it. I got the fish and chips and was kind of disappointed. The fish was not crispy on the outside and was soggy. I was looking forward to that crunch on the outside with melt in your mouth fish on the inside. He also got the chocolate cake which was good although he didn't like the strawberry purée that was over the top of it. Loren was very good, efficient, and friendly.

Yelp
We tried the $85 prix fixed dinner menu for Valentine's Day, which came with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The decor was very cozy and intimate, and they also had live music. Service was also great and they timed the courses perfectly. For the appetizers, the French onion soup came with a perfectly gooey cheesy, but the winter salad was too oily and the apples could have been cut into smaller pieces. I ordered the chimmichuri steak and it was cooked well, but I wish they used a different type of fries, as I prefer a crispier thinner fry. The butter cake was by far the best thing we had, the combination of textures and rich flavors was delicious, especially with the vanilla ice cream. Overall this was a great date night location!

Yelp
The prime rib is to die for, and the butter cake is amazing! The ambiance is very nice and the service is top notch! They have a great selection of wine, cocktails and beer. It's in a great location downtown as well. I will be back soon for more prime rib... YUM!

Yelp
I do want to start off by thanking the Carvery for taking a party of 21 on a Saturday about a week and a half in advance. My partner really wanted prime rib for his birthday but we could not find somewhere that would take our party. They have a nice set up outside with heat laps that they can seat big parties at one long table set up. There was live music playing inside and our waiter, Trevor, was really great. There were some hiccups, that I'll get to, but they never gave us a hard time for any of the requests we made regarding the mishaps. As I mentioned, we came for prime rib and it being called the carvery, we didn't think there would be an issue but they ended up running out of prime rib. Luckily, the birthday boy plus a couple others were able to order it, but many of us had hoped to order it as well. Next, several dishes came out cold, include birthday boy's prime rib. Some side dishes were cold and the French onion soup. We realized later that it looked like the food was coming from the bar, Shannon's, next door so it's possible the food was sitting and/or got cold during its travel to the restaurant. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare, but it was more medium and not very tender. I did like the poblano mashed potatoes! I also had a yummy Malbec to go with my meal. Others did really enjoy the fried chicken and fish and chips. Another plus was that happy hour is every day so we had 30 minutes to get some happy hour food and drinks (it's until 7pm). Thank you, The Carvery, for dealing with our large party! Maybe some things to improve in the kitchen, but we were glad to all be together.

Yelp
My prime rib was cold and the salad was not the greatest. The restaurant itself was3GREAT!

Yelp
I love dropping in here randomly in a weeknight with a friend. I actually came here for a birthday years ago and the live performer actually sang happy birthday to me without request and pronounced my name properly. I appreciated that a ton. They have comfort food options and also small bites and salads so I appreciate the variety when going with other folks. It's a cute space with an indoor/outdoor dining area which I love. Cocktails are also great and sometimes they have seasonal options.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! Hands down have to return to The Carvery. I did not unfortunately get to experience the live band but the music for a Thursday night was throwing it way back. My type of vibe. Our waitress was the sweetest and the bartender as well. All in all a good birthday experience with my girlfriend. Super chill vibe, upscale but also in the heart of downtown Long Beach. It was not packed at all and I was the last guest. They did not rush us at all. Gosh! Almost forgot to mention how great the food was! We ordered the affordable French onion soup and I have to say was super delicious and heart warming. We also ordered the bistro Mac and cheese with shrimp which is to die for! Their drinks were also delicious. You must try the pineapple daiquiri.

Yelp
My friends and I enjoyed brunch here. The breakfast burrito and French toast were delicious. My friends had good cocktails and I enjoyed a mocktail. The server was great too.

Yelp
The food is terrible and over priced. I ordered a rib what i got wasnt a rib eye. Smallest steak I ever seen. Nothing was seasoned. My dates food wasnt up to par either. I make real ribeyes and they are 3 times the size of what I got. Overpriced food. Live music was appreciated but too loud. Save your money go to ihop or dennys.

Yelp
The ambiance was a 10/10 and so was the food! Surprised it wasn't busier on a Friday night but I would definitely return. We ordered the fish and chips, Brussel sprouts, and the peanut butter Reese's pie to end it off!

Yelp
Solid 3.5 stars. Our service was excellent! Very attentive, impressed how she handled such a large party, and even continued to check on us even after the bill & tip were paid. Lots of holiday decorations, so kudos to them on that. The singer was great but a bit loud if you're trying to have a conversation. I'm not quite sure what the vibe of this place is supposed to be.... Seems like a bar/cocktail lounge that wants to serve upscale food? The bar seems like a cool place to hang. The booths at the tables look like they are made for a diner, but they have filet mignon on the menu and burgers. A bit of an identity crisis? The brussels sprouts appetizer, charcuterie board and baked brie were nice. Mac 'n cheese left something to be desired. I got the filet and mashed potatoes and was not impressed. The potatoes seemed like they were missing a little something (garlic, more salt?) I asked for my steak to be medium-well and there was no glint of pink anywhere even though the cut was pretty thick. Fully well done in the very middle. How does that happen?! I don't know how my steak would have turned out if I had ordered it well done :( In summary, there were some hits and misses. Might be more inclined to just do drinks and apps here if I return.

Yelp
In town in business and stopped in for dinner. No stairs, easy access, and easy to find. Plenty of booths and seats at the bar. Staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. My Cosmo was delicious as was the Flat Iron Bistro Steak. Erick recommended ordering medium rare and it was great advice - it was cooked medium and sliced. The broccoli stalk was fresh and buttery with garlic. I don't usually eat fries but these were crisp and the truffle cheese really took them up a couple levels from regular fries. Desserts are not on the menu, so ask if you want them. They are made in house. There were 3 choices. I ordered the butter cake to go since I was full. It was a cute little circle cake with sliced berries and berry sauce on the side. Thanks so much!

Yelp
We came in to celebrate birthdays with our family and had a good time. We were seated at the large booth near the entrance and it was comfortable for 7 adults. We ordered: 4/5 Brussels sprouts. Crispy and tasty. The grilled lemon brightened up the flavors. Perfect serving for sharing. 5/5 brie crositini. Try to get everything in one bite and the flavors are fantastic. Unique combination with the brie, pesto, roasted garlic, tomatoes, and caramelized onion. We finished this off first so it seems that it was a favorite. 5/5 wedge salad. We also shared this and it was necessary to lighten up from the other dishes. Refreshing and well balanced. 5/5 slow roasted prime rib. Slightly smoked and it makes a big difference in flavor. Tender, flavorful, and juicy. Highly recommend for prime rib lovers. Can't wait to order again. 3/5 hot fried chicken. Boneless chicken breast. It was crispy but im not much a fan of fried chicken breast so it was okay for me. The roasted poblano mashed potatoes was different and worked well with the chicken. 5/5 for butter cake and chocolate cake. Perfect for sharing. We also ordered numerous cocktails and they were okay. I recommend going with wine instead. Service was excellent-friendly, prompt, and attentive. The live music was also a nice touch and I appreciate that they adjusted the volume when they noticed it to be too loud. Recommend and will be back for prime rib.

Yelp
I used to really like the carvery however there were recent changes to the menu. The charcuterie board didn't come with fresh fruit like it usually does, and it has less meat and no pickles! They put the bread on the board to make it seem full ! They also are now only serving potatoes with the steaks instead of both potatoes and green beans. Used to be out favorite steak place in Long Beach but serving significantly less for the same price just didn't sit well.

Darrel H.

Yelp
Service was spectacular. I'm horrible with names, Trevor I think? Absolutely nailed the service. Attentive, but jot a nuisance. Whatever they're paying him is probably not enough ;) Food was good. Brussels sprouts were a tasty appetizer. I'm not a big wine person, but the Earthquake Can worked nice with our meal. We shared the ribeye. I think they need to remove "thick cut" from the menu. Fully cooked was only about 5/8" thick. However, on the first bite I no longer cared about how thick it was. Perfectly even cook, pink to the edges like it was sous vide, tender, and seasoned just enough to not mask the flavor of the steak. Will absolutely find an excuse to make the drive again.

Yelp
Very cozy and relaxing environment, bartender is great and has a great attitude and is very attentive to customers needs and recommended a combination of drinks.

Yelp
Love the live music, the food, the ambience and the service! When you sit at the bar you get the best service from the bartenders with their suggestions and just friendly attitude! The live music is the best though.

Yelp
Amazing service and great vibe. We really enjoyed the live music . Drinks were a hit. I got the fried chicken and my friend got the salmon. Courtney greeted us with a warm smile and was very accommodating, friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back. Thank you Courtney !!!!

Yelp
Excellent! We loved our birthday dinner at The Carvery. The ambiance was very nice and we loved the live music, old jazzy songs. We ordered cocktails - the old fashioned was perfect, but the Suit & Tie was only okay - too much ice - I couldn't sip it and had to ask for another cup to remove some ice. Favorite meal was the Prime Rib it was smoked and very flavorful. There Brussel Sprouts are also excellent. We wil definitely be back.

Yelp
This place was amazing. I got the prime rib and the Salmon which was delicious. The waiter was very nice and was radiating with enthusiasm. The food came out quick. The ambiance was nice. The steak was incredibly tender and juicy. The salmon had nice notes of citrus and a little bit of sweetness.

Yelp
Went here for a family birthday celebration. Sadly, the experience did not live up to the occasion. Who doesn't like live music, right? When it's so loud that you have to lean halfway over the table to speak to the person across from you! Since there were 6 of us, it was impossible to speak to each other until they finally turned the volume down, after multiple requests. Service: Very friendly server. However, it took forever to get our drinks and eventually our food. Food: I'm more than willing to be patient for good food. Unfortunately, the food not only came out cold but, it was very disappointing. I had the fish and chips. The fish came out hot but, it was very bland. The batter that they use for the fish was tasteless. The chips were cold. If they had been hot they would have been great as they had a nice flavor. My better half had the rib eye steak. Shockingly for a rib eye, it was so tasteless that I doubt there was any seasoning at all on it. Not only that but, it came out cold. We had already been there for two hours so waiting to have them warm up or replace what we had received was not on the table. Drinks, once we got them, were good. And, desserts were good. With that said, our experience was sub par at best. And, when you consider how much we paid (!$!$!) for the evening, it was a very unsatisfying experience. We won't be going back...

Yelp
Came here for the first time with our friends. This is located in downtown Long Beach where you will find a variety of restaurants & bars. Reservations was made for 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we noticed right away a outdoor seating area near the bar area and there was a outdoor jazz type band of 3 members playing. I must say the singer that night was very good! We were greeted by the host and were seated at a raised booth. Our drink orders were taken. I asked our server what they were known for or what he recommended and he gave us a few items on the list, but he really emphasized on their prime-rib. Three of us in our party ordered the prime rib and one ordered the prime rib sandwich. One had their prime rib cooked medium rare, one medium well, and I had mine cooked well done (yes, I am one of those. Lol). We also ordered a sample charcuterie board as our appetizer. The charcuterie board was just delicious. Everything was so tasty and I tried everything except for the feta cheese which I am not fond of to begin with. By the time our prime-rib came out, it looked so good and when I finally took a bite of it, it was soooo tender and sooo delicious. So glad we listened to our server's recommendation. This gives Lawry's some stiff competition. If I had to choose between the two, Carvery's prime-rib would be my choice. It definitely left me a very positive lasting impression. We ended our wonderful dinner with dessert. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of it and it was our server also recommended this, but I did post a picture of it. This establishment deserve the 5 star rating. The staff was very friendly and also check on us frequent, but not to the point were it was annoying. I highly recommend this place, just make sure to make reservations and as for parking , there are nearby parking structures and metered street parking. Looking forward to coming back again and this time with family.

Yelp
Me & my cousin decided to try this steakhouse and it did not disappoint. I wasn't able to show off my spinach dish but it's a MUST to get as a app Would recommend, I'll be back

Yelp
Arrived 5 minutes early for a 6:00PM reservation and was initially underwhelmed with the service as there was not a even a mater dei or host to seat patrons. After a few minutes, the live music started, we placed our order, read some history on the location, and everything was wonderful. The food was amazing wife had the filet mignon and I ate the hot fried chicken. The mushroom sauce for the filet mignon- savory and superb. The hot fried chicken dish is not a dish I would normally order but everything from the asparagus, the poblano peppers in the mashed potatoes, and the sweet and spicy hot sauce the fried chicken is served with is delectable. The kitchen at the Carvery is firing on all cylinders and my hats off to the team.

Yelp
Did not even have a chance to eat there.. As we were walking towards the place .. I notice the windows were all spotted and dirty. When we walked in..it smelled like weed! We walked out....

Yelp
We were looking for something new and I drive by this place numerous times per week. Thought we'd try it finally. It didn't disappoint. We tried their charcuterie board, it was okay but their fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy was amazing. We loved the pulled pork sliders, they were yummy too. The custom drinks are a must try and the service was excellent and attentive. Thank you for a great date night out.

Yelp
Second time to this establishment. Love this place! Great vibe and amazing food! Our waitress was also fantastic. Her name started with a M ... she had the best personality. I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
I was looking on Yelp for a nice restaurant for a date night and I came across The Carvery and decided to give it a try. The first thing that caught my eye was the ambiance and the overall style of the restaurant. I didn't want overly fancy and and after looking at the pictures The Carvery looked just right. Walking in it looked pretty slow for a 6:30 pm Saturday night and I was a little surprised, but overall okay with it. The little jazz band up top was great, but as they took a break and tried to play recorded music the volume was all over the place. The Brussels sprouts were 10/10 and I would tell anyone who went there to eat them. The pork chop was very dry and didn't have enough flavor. The rosemary mashed potatoes tasted like sour cream and they were a little dry as well. Overall I'm not sure if I would come back here for the food, but maybe some drinks. Service was great and our server was super friendly!

Yelp
So good!!! Love this place. Live Jazz Saturday and Sunday. Music is fantastic and good is off the hook. Great atmosphere and make a great date night. Steaks are juicy and delicious creamy mashed potato's come with most dishes. Lately I've been getting the glazed salmon. so good! The staff is awesome and super friendly. They have a great bar, plenty of booth seating and a patio. I just wish they were open later.

Yelp
A good experience that aims to be very elevated in terms of service, but has an interesting menu that is not fully at one price point or another. I visited on a weekday for my anniversary, and although we had made reservations, the restaurant was mostly empty at dinnertime. As such, the service was incredibly friendly and attentive (almost too much, for those who don't like being checked up on as often). The ambience was nice; warmly lit, comfortable and clean setting, but what was cool was the DJ booth above the restaurant. That night, we had a live singer and bass player, which was fun. The food was good, but not exceptional, which brings me to the pricing. It's a small, but varied, menu that serves anything from cheap pasta to gigantic cuts of prime rib (both priced accordingly). We couldn't really tell if the restaurant was meant to be as high-end as the bar and the ambience appeared. Brie-utiful crostini: 4/5 Pretty yummy, but expensive. $15 for a very small wheel of brie, baked with pesto, sundried tomatoes, and onions. However, this was probably the only appetizer that felt appropriate for a nice steak dinner. Other options included avocado toast? Togarashi NY Strip: 3.5/5 Pricing is fair for a NY strip of its size, but it was honestly kind of bland. Cooked very well, but we couldn't taste the 7-spice sichimi togarashi that is it's namesake. Prime rib: 5/5 Honestly fairly delicious, if not a little salty. The creamy horseradish was incredible, and might be one of my favorite condiment to date. The texture was also very nice. The prime rib was, in fact, what we came for, since we heard it was only served Thurs-Sun. The excellent service also alerted us to some things to take advantage of---bottles of wine are 50% off on Thursdays, which we happily indulged in. Overall, everything made for a fun experience, but the menu felt disjointed. While the restaurant has the service, style, and flavors of an elevated experience, the menu was not as extensive as expected, and the other options seemed almost too casual (bar and grill type food) for the environment. Might revisit for a casual dinner in that case.

Yelp
My husband and I came for their Valentine's Day prie fixe menu ($85 pp) and it was not worth it. For starters, they sat us in the back balcony of the restaurant which we didn't know connected to the next door club, so we had to listen to romantic jazz mixed with Fetty Wap every time the door opened. It was also crusty and dirty there. When we asked to move, they said all the tables were booked (spoiler - they weren't because no one came and we too had a reservation). Then, they ran out of half the things on the menu. From the limited menu, I ordered a salad without nuts due to an allergy and they brought me the WRONG salad WITH NUTS. My entree was good but cold. At the end of the meal, we ordered dessert only for the waiter to bring us a random dessert, saying they ran out of what we ordered and didn't even let us choose if we wanted that. It was not worth the price, the ambiance was terrible, and we got our cocktails at the end of dinner. 1/5 would not recommend!

Yelp
Another 5 Stars to this restaurant gem in DTLB. The manager Cyn did an excellent job in creating the ambiance here, especially for The Carvery weekend brunches. Her lead Bar Tender Damien and his team today including Bar Tender Polina, Server Courtney, Dj Leticia, and the Cooks did a really great job today. The best way to describe this place is the The Carvery is "very intentional" and "consistently chill vibes."

Yelp
Came here on a Monday with a reservation made via YELP. Restaurant was dead so technically didn't need a reservation but it was nice they had the option! Restaurant was pretty spacious with a big bar, dim and decor was cute. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive and helpful in explaining the menu and making recommendations. Food was so good especially the appetizers! We ordered the brie crostini and avocado & corn on sourdough, both very good options. The brie was nice and melted and the sun dried tomatoes, grilled garlic and grilled onions were a nice touch! For the avocado & corn starter was so good, I wish the sourdough bread was toasted but didn't mind it the way it was. UGH! Still thinking about the appetizers! As far as our main entrees, we got the hot fried chicken and prime rib. Both decent but we both enjoyed the appetizers wayyyy more! All in all, enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely be back to try other foods!

Yelp
I go here for any special occasion and sometimes just by myself. This has been one of my favorite spots to eat at since I moved to Long Beach a few years ago. One of my most memorable times here was in 2021 (I had been frequenting here a lot) when I graduated and the owner got my table congrats shots! I like how they are on the floor and how much they interact with patrons. Simple menu but still a lot to choose from. BEST BRUSSELS SPROUTS IN TOWN-- I recommend everyone I refer to this place to try them and they always agree. I get the prime rib 95% of the time but also really enjoy the fried chicken options they have and really like the salmon too. I love coming on the live music nights. I most recently took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday and I'm glad I got to enjoy my favorite restaurant in Long Beach on his special day. The service is always amazing and I know what to expect every time I'm here.

Yelp
Finally made it The Carvery and it exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't recommend the French onion soup, it was lacking in flavor. Every other dish made up for it though! The Brie was delicious combined with the caramalized onion. The prime rib was a large cut and pure excellence. It had a bright color, smoky hint in flavor, and super tender. The ribeye was melt in your mouth. The prime rib and steak is where it's at! I'll be back soon!

Yelp
I would like to start by stating that this is a truly unique and excellent dinning experience at Carvery. The server Eric was not only attentive, knowledgeable and interested in our personal experience here at the restaurant, but also made amazing food recommendations. This is what everyone should want when dining out, a 5-star dining experience with attentive staff. We were highly recommend dessert BUTTER CAKE and it was hands down better than Maestros! The Steak selection is exceptional, the ribeye was rich, buttery and most importantly juicy with a nice crust. The service provided by Eric definitely made our evening more enjoyable and the attentiveness of the manager Cynthia (Cynn) made us feel at home with family and friends rather than detached strangers at a restaurant. The ambiance is a modern upscale 1920"s vintage feel. This is hands down my new favorite restaurant and go to.

Yelp
For the price it's not exactly what I thought it would be tbh! And the server wasn't the most experienced for such a fine dining-esque theme they seem to be going for, presentation was a little sloppy, and the cut of my filet wasn't prepped properly (the meat wasn't sliced right), and was also over cooked slightly. The charcuterie we received did not look like the photos here, barley any grapes, nuts, pickles, and the meat was rolled oddly and served only with bread. For $25 I think they can do better. It reminds me of something like the outback but slightly better food and industrial type decor. Server didn't charge our bill correctly, he wanted to take plates and drinks before we were finished, and his wine recommendation were lacking knowledge as well. For our 2 covers we ordered 3 drinks, the most expensive app, and the 2 most expensive entrees, and a dessert. No manager came and asked how the food was, or how we were getting along, it just missed the mark for me.

Yelp
Ok so been here a few times and today Cyn made it amazing! Food is amazing the prime rib marinated is so tender! The cheese platter been the best in long beach and their wine selection is up to par! I will come back every time and the location in downtown you cant beat! Btw they have a band on the weekend! So this restaurant is a place you want to stop by for a date night or just by yourself for a cocktail !

Yelp
This was my first but not my last from the service to the drinks and the delicious food perfect. The atmosphere was very sexy casual great music but what makes this place is the service again I will be back don't need a fancy steak house this hidden gem it is.

Yelp
It's a cute place with a warm decor, it's a little small but comfortable. Luckily we beat a crowd and had no wait. We meant to go to another restaurant in the area but it was closed for a private event so we literally just stumbled in. Our server Courtney, live band, drinks and dessert were amazing and the reason why I'm rating it so high. The food was a little bland for the prices. I had the prime rib which was just ok, I've had better but again it could've been worse. The smoked cheddar burger was meh. The best thing our party ordered was actually the Fish & Chips. The batter had a good seasoning and was one of the better tasting tartar sauces in my opinion. I probabaly won't be back but I enjoyed my dining experience. The butter cake was amazing. Parking was also terrible but I guess that's to be expected downtown.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Long Beach, California. Fun fact about Long Beach they have two downtowns. This restaurant is located in the "first" downtown. My girlfriend and I read some reviews about this restaurant and thought we would give it a try. When we went it was pretty empty and we were sat right away. We were greeted by our waitress who was the host and bartender as well. My girlfriend initially order a tequila sunrise and we were told that the restaurant did not have orange juice to make the cocktail. She ended up getting a casamigos margarita, and I had the suit and tie which is a play on a julep. We ordered our food my girlfriend got the flat iron steak dinner and I ordered the hot fried chicken dinner. The food took a while to come out considering there was only one other table in the restaurant. My girlfriend's steak was cooked to a good temperature however it tasted slightly dry. My chicken was cooked to perfection but lacked seasoning. The dish setup was great and balanced with both entrees coming with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Price point is $$ with everything mostly in the $20-$30 per person. Overall, everything was average. I would recommend if you are looking for a fulfilling meal. Drinks are nice and refreshing. Please go and write your own review on how you feel the food tastes. Don't let my review stir you away.

Yelp
Happy hour on Friday brought us back for dinner on Saturday. A very nice selection of cocktails and beers leads to a great adventure of trying new beverages, and the staff has been wonderful on each visit. Cyn, Damian, Eric (?) and Brian all were friendly and helped us with the question on the menu. A great place right on Pine Avenue. Give 'em a shot!
