"Rose and Rye, the fine dining restaurant inside the historic Midtown mansion known as the 'castle', is closed, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. The closure of the restaurant on 15th Street comes after the property owners, MLAC Castle Atlanta LLC, filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November and then listed the castle for sale last week." - Beth McKibben

I had a lovely evening at The Castle. Our server was excellent, the food & beverages were delicious. The restaurant offered several seating options (indoors and outdoors). The entire venue was beautiful. I recommend visiting the restaurant during the week, make an early reservation. We arrived right after the restaurant opened; no wait, immediately seated & orders taken.

Very neat place! Went for a special event, so not normal business time. Food was yummy. Service wa sheets. Atmosphere was chill. Loved all the levels of the building and the uniqueness of it. Would come back!

Food was superb, portions large! I had lamb chops, spinach, eggplant all excellent. Beautiful building with a nice romantic atmosphere. Great place for a rainy, late night date.

The food was horrible. I ordered the Lamb Shank. I couldn't eat it. It had no flavor. The rice was awful. The plate was bare. The dinner only came with rice. Although the server was excellent.

The place is beautiful and the service was great. The food was also delicious we ordered the Salmon and the shrimp and both were so good, but perhaps what we liked the most were the drinks 🍹... by far the best drinks I have had in Atlanta. If you go to a symphony concerto it is a good idea to stop here for some drinks before since it is located right in front and the drinks are the same price as what you would pay at the symphony just way better!

I can only review The Castle based on the bar, but overall I'd say it was a pretty nice spot. Perched on the second floor is a large bar area where we hung out post rehearsal dinner. I would say the area can comfortably hold around 30 people although we had a bit more. Drinks were more expensive than some of the other Atlanta spots I visited, but it seemed to be a little more upscale of an establishment. Another great feature is the outdoor roof deck just off the side of the bar. Bonus points for the cheap valet parking out front.

Excellent venue. Probably the best venue in all of Atlanta. Great food. Great drinks and great service. Rumor has it they'll be opening a portion as a private, members only club. Sign me up!

We only had drinks and an appetizer at the bar, but the fried green tomatoes was delicious. We will be returning for dinner. Cool atmosphere!
