The Cathedral is such a gem in Austin’s creative scene. The space is absolutely stunning—beautiful natural light, thoughtfully curated art, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re attending an art show, pop-up market, or private event, the energy is always inspiring and inclusive. Huge kudos to the team for creating a space that truly supports and uplifts local artists!

Beautiful space, full of art and inspiration. I attended to a conference but it looks they have some spaces for coworking

The Cathedral is an amazing venue, about 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown. This quiet elegant oasis has been lovingly renovated by Monica Ceniceros and it shows. All the little details like the art are meticulously curated and placed. The place was perfect for our all day Future of Health event where we gathered the who's who health innovation. Everything went smoothly with Monica and her staff, including the last minute panic order of coffee at 8am in the morning. The team are amazing, AV, Lighting, Food, and the general cleanliness of the facility. The handling of last minute requests with a smile and "sure we can help" attitude permeates throughout. I highly highly highly recommend this venue and we will be back next year.

This is the second time I’ve been to this venue. It works well for a group of 100ish people. The first event was a song launch and the second was an art gala. The space is beautiful, the windows are amazing and the setup works really well. There’s plenty of parking in the lot and off street for this size event so it’s very convenient. Definitely looking forward to the next event at the Cathedral!

Magical venue for medium sized events and weddings! Accommodations for food service and live music in a hall setting, along with private rooms for prep and support services. We were live music performers for a wedding, and it was epic!

I played there for a wedding ceremony and the celebrants seemed to have a great experience! The facility itself is a historic former church tucked into a neighborhood in old East Austin. The staff was excellent, as well! I highly recommend this venue!!!

Yelp
The cathedral is a beautiful space! I've been to three of their art shows and have definitely spent way too much Their events are coordinated and enjoyable from the music to the cocktails. The space is set up for a natural flow and the art is gorgeous.

Yelp
I visited The Cathedral for an art event in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. It's a beautiful venue nestled in an east Austin neighborhood, with several floors. There was live music and plenty of beautiful art to appreciate from local artists. I had a lovely time and look forward to going back for another event! Thanks!

Yelp
I was here for a company event and was floored by the raw beauty of this space. They did an amazing job converting this cathedral church to a multifunctional art exhibit, event space and shared work space ( think WeWork but with more soul and pizazz). The Cathedral showcases art by women and I was immediately drawn to the "Something in the Water" art piece!

Yelp
I am so glad I found this place! So much character! This is an old cathedral church that has been transformed into an art gallery. What I love is that it is owned by women, and their art that is displayed are by female artists. Me and my best friend walked in on a Tuesday afternoon, and was greeted by a friendly and energetic staff member named Allison. She was eager to show us around and give us insight on the cathedral. So not only is this an art gallery, but it is also rented out as venues for weddings, private events and work spaces. Also every Thursday night, there's live music and art. We are so excited to go back!

Yelp
I was here for the first time last weekend as my best friend was marrying his person. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience of the day. Aside from being a genuinely gorgeous space full of character and art, I watched the staff go above and beyond to make sure that my friend and his husband were taken care of. They were attentive, personable, and overall very warm presences on this special day. If I knew of anyone else in the Austin area looking for an event space, I wouldn't hesitate to point them here. 10/10- highly recommend.

Yelp
Learn how to make my own earrings with Shrinky Dinks for $50? Twist my shelter-in-place arm, why don't ya?! If you're not crafty on your own and need someone to facilitate a hands-on activity for you, the babes (the atxGALS, to be precise) have got some fun, unique options to keep you from going down the streaming service wormhole. Do you really need to watch another episode of SATC that you've seen six times already? I ordered online, picked up my box of goodies at the designated time, was surprised with a little extra goodie bag of snacks from The Cathedral and tuned in to Zoom for the instruction. It was easy to follow and a small enough class to where you could ask questions/get additional insight without holding back the sesh. They even created an FB group for us to share our creations, ask more questions, and connect, which is great because they gave us a lot of materials so for $50, I can actually prob make 3-4 earring sets depending on how large I want them! There's painting, make your own charcuterie board, and more! Check their website for the week/month's lineup.

Yelp
This place is a dream! It used to be a church, the beauty that Monica has brought to this space is amazing. Monica, the owner, is super sweet. She is passionate about bringing creatives together. She gives so much to the community. It's a great co-working space and is also available for special events, parties, weddings, etc... They also host DIY workshops and have switched to doing virtual workshops during shelter in place/stay home orders. They have everything from painting, to making earrings, and making your own charcuterie board, and more!
