The 30 Best Wine Bars In Paris 2024

"The Cellar Bar is a small space with a big wine selection—there are hundreds of bottles in stock, so expect to be hit with indecision. Thankfully, the owner is your personal sommelier (do you want a hit of minerality? A fruity red?), and will pull off a bottle from the floor-to-ceiling shelf and open it for a small corkage fee. He’s the perfect guy to nerd out with on the virtues of natural wine or the terroir in the Rhone Valley. If you’re not too thirsty, Cellar Bar does wine by the glass, best enjoyed with their homemade hummus or a cheese plate. " - sara lieberman, tanisha townsend

Yes this is the most amazing wine bar in paris. Every wine from the shop is +10 euros to drink in the bar. Also, ask the waiters to get you a personalized wine, just by describing. 6 euro for the day wine, other wines go from 6 to 150 euro a bottle

In only several words, you can describe the wines you tend to like, or what you are cooking tonight, and he will help you select the perfect wine! Very reasonable prices. We had a few glasses to taste and took home several bottles we will like very much. One of our favorite tastes ended up being an $8 bottle of Syrah!

Not at all what I expected - was way beyond expectations. You simply must meet Fred and try all of his recommendations. Thank you for an incredible last night in Paris.

The staff can speak English and is very friendly and knowledgeable in wine. He gave me excellent recommendation for a red wine.

This bar was exactly what we were looking for in Paris. The gentleman running the bar was kind enough to speak in English with us and chose a delicious red to drink with our lunch. A perfect amount of food while on a day around Paris.

What can I say, Fred is amazing. He's created a community here and brought together all of the locals and neighbours to really just make a hub and a home. The atmosphere is always warm and wonderful and people are kind despite your terrible french language skills. Trust him on the wine too, this man makes very thoughtful and clever choices. You're in safe hands. See you here soon!
