Customer service was great. Specially Balthazar and the front desk staff. They were super helpful when it came to assistance with our family of five’s needs and local attractions. Breakfast was amazing, particularly the Belgian Waffles. Can’t beat the location. We walked to most places and took the monorail for others. Looking forward to staying here again.

Great location close to lots of popular sights and public transit. High-quality staff. Great communication from the hotel when room was ready and to check up during the stay. High-quality spacious room. Though the hotel faces a busy street and the room was near the elevator area, noise wasn't bad at all. Comfortable bed and great food facilities. Had to pay an amenity fee of ~$25 per day which the hotel lets you apply against food and beverages. Would stay here again!

By far my favorite hotel in Seattle. The staff is very friendly and welcoming when you walk in. What was set the hotel apart is it style in the room? It’s almost like a modern rustic with a warm touch of wood. The bathrooms are very large showers are perfectlayout in the water was great pressure all the time. The weight room was definitely large enough for multiple people without feeling crammed and had a good selection of weights as well. The sauna was nice as well as the steam room. That was a nice touch during our stay. I highly recommend staying at the charter hotel. You won’t regret it and on top of everything, it’s super close and walking distance everywhere.

I stayed 2 nights at the Charter. When you walk in you feel the elegance. I got to my room which was very large and spacious. Everything screamed fancy hotel. I decided to book this with points to go a little nicer than Im used to. It was conveniently located to everything downtown Seattle. I appreciated them having cable so I could watch a my college team play football. I used the sauna and steam room which was great after a cold day. Even one of the staff walked me to the subway in the morning of leaving so I wouldn't get lost. Thanks for a great comfortable stay!

I stayed there for 3 nights. Each day there were credits and charges based on my rate and status. I could never get a good handle on what I had for credit each day and each staffer had a different answer. The day I left I asked the staffer what was left on my account and he told me $70. I bought more stuff from the shop and left satisfied. The next day I get an updated bill charging my credit card an additional $70. I called later and spoke with Assistant Front Office Manager A. Wade who told me there would be an adjustment to my bill within 10 days. I felt satisfied again. However, there was never an adjustment or any communication with me to tell me why. Calls back to Ms. Wade went unanswered. I don’t have time to keep trying and am left being out $70. I won’t stay there again.

Looks nice, trendy new interiors, clean. The staff is in serious need training. At registration I asked about parking. I was tole valet parking was $36.00 or I could park in the lot behind the hotel for $48.00 for 24 hours or I could park on the street. Just outside the lobby was a sign for valet hotel parking for $25.00. I booked and paid extra for a room with a city view. The city view is apparently a view of the apartment building next door. I not a voyeur but I took the attached photo.|An addition hidden fee of $25.00 which is a credit to use in their hotel. I did not use the credit nor did I get a refund of the $25.00 when I checked out. You should know this up front. Sure it's only $25.00 but it's it should be posted so you know going in, unless they are ashamed of this charge. You can only use the $25.00 hidden fee in the bar or restaurant, you cannot us it for valet parking or internet.. I have never experienced this at Hilton previously. From online booking, and no standard free internet like most hotels would have these days. As a Hilton Honors member Hilton used to supply free internet but not at this hotel.||While this may be a Hilton Hotel, do not expect the Hilton Experience.

Great Experience with One Major Downside I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it’s always been a fantastic experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is also delicious, with a great selection of fresh options to start the day. My only minor complaint is that there’s no in-room dining, so you have to head downstairs to the restaurant for breakfast. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it would be nice to have the option to dine in the room. One of the main reasons I always choose this hotel when staying in Seattle is the co-ed steam rooms and sauna. This is my absolute favorite feature—it’s a great way to unwind and relax after a long day. However, this time around, my experience was completely ruined. My partner and I went to the sauna, expecting the usual peaceful, spa-like atmosphere, but instead, we were met with a completely naked man walking around like it was a private bathhouse. The rules on the wall clearly state that proper attire is required, yet he was casually strolling around as if they didn’t apply to him. My partner politely pointed out that this is a co-ed facility and that he needed to put on some clothing, but instead of acknowledging the very obvious posted rules, he got defensive. He even claimed that he asked a staff member, who supposedly told him it was okay! This was NOT something I ever wanted to see on a Sunday morning. It completely disrupted what should have been a relaxing experience. I sincerely hope the hotel clarifies and enforces its policies going forward because this is a huge issue. I love this hotel and want to keep coming back, but this was definitely an unwelcome surprise.’

This hotel is located about halfway between Pike Place Market and Westgate Mall/Rail stop. Each are 5-10 minutes away walking. Target is also 5-10 minutes walking.||The room was nice, but some rooms have no view as there is a large parking structure to the north. Beds were comfortable, although more lighting would have been desirable.

I recently stayed at The Charter Hotel for a weekend getaway to Seattle, and my review is for the booking experience through AMEX. My partner sealed a great deal and used his points to score major discounts on our two-night stay. The Charter Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Seattle. It is a short walk from the Westlake light rail station, which we took from SEA-TAC, and less than a five minute walk from Pike Place Market. Overall, you can't beat this location! Check-in was seamless, and the front desk agent informed us of our benefits with AMEX, which included an extended check-out window and $100 credit per night redeemable at either the Fog Room Rooftop Bar on the 16th floor or Patagon Restaurant on the first floor. We could ask for a room upgrade upon availability, but it wasn't needed since we had a room with a king bed on the 15th floor. Unfortunately, we were overcharged so my partner is currently resolving that through AMEX. With regard to our stay, I like that the Charter has nice finishes and amenities; however, I feel like it's also missing some of the basics. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was incredibly spacious with a separate room for the toilet. I'd recommend offering firmer pillows for better support since ours felt deflated. I also wish our room came with a fridge that's suitable for leftovers and a microwave. Overall, decent experience with room for improvement on the comfort.

I feel disappointed having to write this review and only give The Charter Hotel a 3-star review. All the way up until I approached the counter to check out, I felt like my 2-day stay was a solid 4.5-4.8 experience. Based on that, I was going to give a 5-star review once I was home. We'll get to that later, though. Here is my take on what I loved and didn't love while here: (+) What a great location! You are a 5-minute walk to the Pike Place Market. We were able to take advantage of this all 3 days we were there, and it was great! The link is only a 5-10-minute walk away depending on your pace. If you want to go to the Seattle Center, the monorail stop was a 5-minute walk away as well! Beautiful location. (+) Comfortable, spacious room. The room had plenty of storage space and room to stretch out! Those beds were very comfortable, and we were stocked with plenty of toiletries. After reading reviews, I was braced for the fact that the room might not be serviced, but it a beautiful sight to see that it had been after a long afternoon of playing tourist in the chilly Seattle weather. (+) The fitness center is very well stocked for a hotel of this size, IMO. The real cherry on top is the steam and sauna that they have on the same floor! In all of my travels, I have never stayed at a property where this amenity was included! It is a co-ed space, but I never saw another soul use it the 2 times I went to enjoy it. They offer a full-service space as far as they have lockers with digital locks, showers, and a nice vanity space. Plus, that steam gets so thick I couldn't see more than maybe a foot in front of me! It was a great way to unwind in the afternoon and evening! I absolutely LOVE this amenity! I've had to pay $100 here in Vegas for a day pass to get a steam that good! (+) Up until check out, service was truly outstanding! The young lady who checked me in was nice, although I wish she spoke up just a touch. We went and got some Pike Place Chowder and brought it back to the room to enjoy. We were dismayed to find that they hadn't given us any plastic utensils. The front desk staff ran and got some for us right away, so we could enjoy it while it was still piping hot! We were greeted when leaving and entering the property most times. It was very nice :) Now, the not so hot: (-) $25.00 Destination Fee (plus tax it comes to $28 and change per night) seems to be another way to say Resort Fee, like we have out here in Vegas. The only thing I will say is that they do give you the option to use that $25 as a credit for their tiny little sundries area. I didn't maximize this, but I did use $17 worth on my second night. As they explain it, they charge it to the room and then waive it off at checkout. We will get back to this in a moment as well. (-) They have a thermal governor to keep you from cranking the heat in the rooms. It says it caps out at 80 degrees, but there is no way it was 80 degrees in that room. It would have been nice to feel cozy after freezing our butts off in the cold weather. (-) Despite the 2 above items, I was so happy with our stay at that point I was happy to round up to 5 stars! I want to let people know how well it went for me here, right? So, we go to checkout at noon after they were kind enough to give us an extra hour late check out. I went to turn in the keys and the agent tanked me and told me to have a good day. After having read so many reviews with billing issues, I asked for a copy of my charges to review. It then took an unusually long amount of time to get this reciept. There was a lot of going to the back, people talking to each other in hushed tones, and just general confusion. Why is this a thing now?? Well, it ends up they did charge me the $17.00 (plus tax) for the sundries the previous night. Okay, let's just fix that so I can be on my way. Well, they waived the charge but not the tax. Not end of the world, but definitely annoying. Check your statements. What happened while this was being figured out is what my lasting impression of The Charter Hotel in Seattle will be. As the clerk who was trying to straighten out my billing was kind of doing his thing talking to people another employee in a brown plaid jacket came over and spoke with him and mentioned something about the $17 charge needing to be removed. At that point no one had said anything to me about being billed or even shown me my list of charges at that point. On two separate occasions I asked this employee what was going on and if everything was okay. This person never looked at me or acknowledged my existence once despite the fact that I was literally standing maybe 2 feet away and speaking directly to him. After he told the clerk to waive the charge, he called for the next person in line, while looking behind me like I wasn't even there. Incredibly and unnecessarily rude. That employee simply needs to do better and could definitely use some retraining. What a shame. 3 stars.

Amazing hotel. We stayed from a Monday - Monday which is a very long time, but visiting family and friends. Room was clean everyday, we left trash on the side and the cleaning people never picked it up and it was getting bigger and bigger. Overall we got clean towels and bed was made up everyday . Valet parking was good, for it to be one guy everyday they did a good job. They closed the restaurant upstairs for 4 whole nights for a holiday party, which I find to be upsetting and let people know the day off, like I would of loved for that to be on the hotel website. and for some restaurants to be closed around 8pm/9pm in the city, we got left super hungry at night some nights. Great hotel again

Arrived very late one evening like 2 AM (goodmorning lol) and they were quick and so friendly. We had a booking issue and they handled it with ease and grace. The staff has been attentive and there has been so problems. Noise is not an issue and the hotel is not busy at all.

On a Friday afternoon of last Friday in May, my family and I stayed here for one night before the cruise. Great location and close to Hmart, target, and Pike market, and car rental place. The lobby is clean restaurant attached to the restaurant. The hotel bell hop helped us put our luggage's on the luggage rack. The hotel counter person was nice and we got a room. The room was clean with view of car rental garage. The bedroom was spacious with 2 queen beds and big bathroom. The lobby has free water jug. I highly recommend this place in downtown Seattle.

Yikes. Apathetic / non-caring staff. Overpriced. Poor communication. Rough accounting. Probably should have researched this expensive hotel and seen the sub par ratings. This was worse than any Hampton or DoubleTree I've stayed at in along time. Happy Birthday!! We decided to go big on a nice location and upgraded hotel but boy were we fooled. Awaited for our room for 2.5+ hours and the staff could care less. All good, hate leaving bad reviews but ouch. I believe a few of them thought it was funny. I was courteous and patiently waited outside of asking for updates every 30-45 mins. Checked in the day before and was assigned a room number. That didn't matter either. It sounded like our Diamond status would get us upgraded but nope after the long wait, crickets. We were #1 on the waitlist for upgrades. Friday / Saturday evening? Nope - Thursday. I guess I made them upset with some attitude because lots of folks kept getting their rooms. Penalty box fun. Stay away. Employees don't care in a lot of different places but this was top shelf display of a lack of courtesy on someone's birthday to boot. Finally - our bill came back with no Honors standard discounts, etc.

Apathetic staff is correct. From the restaurant manager to the front desk to the bartender downstairs. The guest is LUCKY to be here in their eyes. The only cool people were the valets. Hotel is nice. Location is nice. Employees are low energy snooty Home Alone 2 hotel employee wannabes.

I recently stayed at the Charter House Hilton Hotel during my Seattle trip and thought it was a pretty good choice, especially if you're on a business trip. The location in Belltown is handy for getting around the city. I've got to give a shoutout to their customer service - I showed up early, way before check-in time, but the concierge was able to hold onto my luggage while headed to the office. The check in process was quick. My room was neat and clean, nothing overly fancy, nicer than many other hotels in the area, and definitely comfy after a busy day. The fitness center was just down the hall. They don't really advertise how well equipped it is on hotels.com but it's actually really nice with free weights, machines, TRX and cardio gear, plus a sauna and steam room. A good setup for a bit of a workout or just kicking back. I didn't use it because I made plans to workout and explore the city but I definitely will when I stay here again. If you're one of those people who forgets stuff (like I am), they've got a little shop that can save the day, so you're not running around town searching for things you left behind. It's a really nice touch. Just so you know, they don't do daily housekeeping automatically. But if you ask, they'll sort you out with complimentary service. Nice way to balance tidiness, going green, and giving guests some privacy. What stood out for me, compared to other nearby hotels, was that I felt pretty secure at the Charter House Hilton. It's not super fancy, more like a solid four-star spot, but it seems like they care about guest safety more than some others in the area. The Fog Room is the cherry on the top. It's an excellent place to get a night cap after a long work day. Just wind down in a really chic ambiance. So, all in all, I loved my stay at the Charter House Hilton Hotel. I hope to stay there again when I come in for my next meeting. It's got a convenient location, friendly service, clean rooms, and some extra perks like the fitness center and shop. Plus, the security factor is a thumbs-up.

Such a wonderful hotel! I have stayed here twice and both times have been comfortable and enjoyable! I was so impressed by the first stay that I booked my return stay here after going on an Alaskan cruise. This location is close to Pier 91 cruise port. Taxi prices are about $30. Uber/Lyft can vary from $24-35, during the times that we were there. I love the layout of the bathroom and how comfortable the beds are. The large windows are a plus. The room are just beautiful and the staff are always gracious and welcoming! The location is great. Very close to Pike place and in a walkable area. It can be a pricey stay but I recommend booking straight the hotel and/or on the Hilton app! There are discounts found there!

Did not even stay here but I will just tell you this: Customer service via phone was super lame. Knew nothing. Untrained. When asked how the restaurant is?... He said "The one here?" Me: "Yes, the Argentine restaurant." Him: "I had a cheeseburger there and it was ok." Wow! Hilton you needed to know this... Will most likely book the State or Thompson Seattle. And no I'm not affiliated with either.

Staff: The staff was nice in all ways. Quality: The hotel itself is beautiful. Very clean, nice, the room was large and well designed. Pros: Great location close to a lot of places you'd want to frequent. Also, they provide individual bags of ice vs a standard ice machine which was so cool. Cons: After a late arrival we just wanted a quick bite so we got something from the on-site restaurant. Ordered a kids salmon and order of calamari. Waited about 20 mins to get the salmon only to find out that they forgot the potatoes. So I ran the other food upstairs so it wouldn't get cold. Upon returning back downstairs the potatoes (fries) were done. All the way back upstairs again to find there was no ketchup, so downstairs I go again. In the end the salmon was literally served alone with no rice or other starch and a bit burnt. The fries were really good. The calamari tasted good but was chewy since I waited so long for the other food that it got soggy. Overall big disappointment with the food. Other MAJOR con was the parking situation. OMG, this was terribly frustrating! There was only a small area to pull up for valet but it was completely full. We had no idea where to park. So we fought the many one way streets and went around the block 5 times to try and score a spot to get out and ask where the self parking is located. Ended up having to squeeze into a spot to allow me to run inside to ask. Ended up having to go around the block pretty far to the self parking. Valet was about $66 per night vs $37 per night at self park. Overall: The hotel is in a great location close to lots of places and beautiful. However, given the parking situation, I would not stay here again. Pro Tip: Be prepared to use the hotel wifi as we got zero connection in our room (T-Mobile)

I recently stayed at this hotel and must commend the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff, particularly Arel, Alexandria, and the gentleman who worked the night shift with Alexandria. From the onset, Arel demonstrated remarkable professionalism and warmth. They were not only efficient in handling my reservation but also went the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Such dedication and skill surely merit high consideration for future promotions. Alexandria was equally impressive, with her friendly demeanor and meticulous attention to detail. Her knowledge about the hotel and surrounding area was invaluable, enhancing my stay significantly. Her ability to deliver outstanding service should not go unnoticed in terms of career advancement opportunities. The gentleman on the night shift with Alexandria also stood out for his courteous and attentive service, especially during the late hours. His commitment and professionalism added greatly to the sense of comfort and security at the hotel. The exceptional service from these staff members made my experience truly memorable. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is commendable and, in my opinion, they deserve high consideration for promotions in the near future. In summary, the front desk staff at this hotel, especially Arel, Alexandria, and the night shift gentleman, are exceptional. They play a significant role in why I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone. Their outstanding service is a prime example of hospitality at its finest, and they are undoubtedly deserving of recognition and career advancement.

Literally the entire view out the hotel room window. Not a big deal, as we are staying one night before our cruise. Lack of hot water in the bathroom sink is a big deal, as I have a medical issue that necessitates hot water. There is no bathtub. That would've helped. I was not going to complain. Like I said, it's just a quick stopover. When the alarm on the old clock went off at 6:00 AM, that was the last straw. It's simply not a great place to stay. Staff was friendly. Overall, it's just not a hospitable environment.

First time traveling to Seattle, WA. I chose this hotel for its location and previous positive experiences staying at a Curio hotel in Portland. The Charter exceeded my expectations. They provided a superb customer service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I paid for a corner room. I'm pretty sure it must have had an amazing view but since I wanted quiet as possible I was next to the parking lot. Not too pleasing, but I just covered those windows. Obviously it's not their fault, I preferred comfort over a view I may enjoyed a few mins. The room was incredibly spacious! It's conveniently located near Pike Place and there's a Target down the street. Few blocks away from Nordstrom and other shops. The rail is a few blocks away. I traveled alone and felt comfortable walking around and taking the rail alone. Overall, the hotel is pure luxury and conveniently located to everything. I definitely plan to stay here next time I'm in town.

Be aware, they have A LOT OF hidden fee. e.g. 100 dollar named hotel host fee for no reason. And they tell you they will charge additional 25 dollar fee per night when you arrive at hotel. If I see that many additional charge, I wouldn't select this hotel at first place. Furthermore, they even charge mandatory 20% service fee for a take out order from the restaurant. This is first time I see a service fee applied to a take out order and with 20% insane rate!!!! I think this is a cheating behavior to the customer!!!!

Unless you upgrade to a "city view," if you request 2 queen beds you WILL only have a view of a parking garage. I didn't expect to have a water view or anything, but I would have liked to be able to see the sky for $500 per night once you include all the fees (in August). I really feel like their website has false advertising because they don't warn you that your view will be of a parking garage. The lady at the desk was nice when I requested an upgrade after our first night, but they didn't have any available for our second night. She said every 2 queen room looks at the parking garage unless you upgrade for a better view. I really feel duped by this hotel's website. The room itself was comfortable (other than the 3:15 am dumpster emptying that woke me up). But it is flat out not with the price paid.

Very nice rooms and great location, but service was lacking. We stayed for five nights and never got any bed service. We had to ask for fresh towels. The front desk staff was not very welcoming, though the valet staff always had a smile to give. I asked management about the room cleaning issue and was told that they would refund $100 (4 x "urban destination fee"). That refund never happened. I understand that COVID was a challenge, but it's well over. Either provide the service you are charging for, or make your pricing commensurate with service levels.

As a Diamond member I'm always disappointed when I cannot get an upgrade when there are rooms available on the app. However, I understand that's part of the gamble. What was INCREDIBLY disappointing was being a diamond member that booked the stay MONTHS ago and receiving a room with a view of a parking lot and then being told there were no options of an equal or better room in which to move. And, they charged me for ICE in my drink at the rooftop bar. That was definitely a new experience.

Wouldn't let me check even though I have a reservation. Won't let me speak to a manager, nor will they check authorizations which have been emailed to them multiple times. Random extra charges and fees.

I'm inclined to think the 1 star reviews by people with 1 review are fake, because we had an absolutely amazing stay this last weekend! At check-in, Jordan was super friendly, gave me my Goldmember upgrade with my AMEX, and we were offered bottles of water. We had a king room on the 12th floor, it was spacious, had tons of storage was clean and comfortable bedding, loved the rosemary geranium toiletries. I used the small but clean and well equipped gym each morning and my husband enjoyed the sauna. The location of this hotel cannot be beat, we were within walking distance to the pike market and a ton of really good restaurants bars and shopping. If you are so inclined to take the public transport to the airport, it's only $3 and a few blocks away. Staying at the Hilton has really changed my mind about major brand hotels!

We had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on NYE 2022. It's a great location for exploring downtown Seattle- literally blocks from the Public Market. They only offer valet parking, so be prepared to pay for that or go to a nearby public garage if you have a vehicle. The staff working at the front desk were not very helpful explaining to us how to find the public garage, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. The room itself was really nice. Great amenities. They also have a fun lounge, The Fog Room, at the top of the hotel, which was convenient to start our NYE night at!

Guaranteed check in is 3pm. We were.told they let people stay "in our room for a late check out so our room.isnt ready yet". What?

My second time at this hotel demolished my initial experience. What a difference a year makes? My diamond status was scoffed at by the officious gentleman who checked me in. He was more taken with himself than any need to take care of some customer who was obviously beneath his status. The hotel's website clearly states a $75 dog fee. He insisted on charging me $100 even after I showed him the web page. His comment, "I will advise IT to update the page." This man/boy refused to help with a late checkout despite my diamond status, and he told me every hour after 11:00 AM would cost me an additional $45.00. The latest check out he would allow was 2:00 PM. Of course, he said the hotel was totally booked and no upgrade was available. The next day, my wife checked with the front desk, and the woman gave us a 1:00 PM late checkout for free. We were moving that day, getting into our car for the start of a 2000 mile drive to a new home, and needed extra time. The extra hours charges kept changing from $30 to $45, depending on who you spoke with. Disorganization and haughtiness reigned. However, we stayed until 3:00. My final bill, for one night with a dog in tow, came to over $500! I used my Diamond status credit in the roof top Fog Room bar, where two rail cocktails took up my $40 credit. The bartender, with the hairstyle designed by the architect Calatrava, was too busy yapping it up with friends, and I was forced to order my second drink from one of the bussers. This second stay was filled with Seattle "faceless" attitude, an impetus to get out of town. Screw the beauty of the place. The people suck. Ask anyone in Seattle who's caring and warm. Inevitably, they came from somewhere else.

This started off so good then went down hill. Decent arrival and check in by Irina but she had no idea what Diamond status members were due. The front desk is a mess, keycards all over the place and could do with a tidy. Was given an upgrade, room looked good on entering but on closer inspection it concerned me. First issue was the dirty shower door and splattered bathroom door, semi shrugged that off but I was pretty alarmed when I pulled the duvet back to see sheets that looked like they'd been slept in. On closer inspection it looked like they'd been washed but not ironed which at $300+ a night is pretty poor, for an amount not much greater I stayed at the Hotel 1000 just down the road and the bedding was excellent. Went for dinner in the restaurant and got a table as soon as I entered but on ordering a steak I then waited 45 minutes whilst the chef decided to talk to everyone who passed through the kitchen. It wasn't busy. My steak arrived perfectly cooked but it had rested so long it was warm to cold, I couldn't be bothered complaining and ate it. Back to the room, the aircon makes the most mechanical sound do not plan sleeping with it on. The lifts "ping" everytime someone arrives or departs your floor also making for a disturbed sleep if you are a light sleeper. As I had a late flight out I checked out late morning and stayed and had lunch. The most wonderful woman served me (sorry I never got her name but grey hair and glasses and she's a huge asset to the hotel) I ordered a burger, again everything from the kitchen takes an age to be cooked and served, it arrived and was quite good but the accompanying tomato sauce must have been poured into the ramikin the day before and had a thick skin on it making it inedible. Lastly this $25 urban resort fee that Hilton's in Seattle are charging, what a racquet, I should be allowed to choose where I spend my money rather than being forced to dine in house, as a diamond member I get free wifi anyway. Poor, I won't be staying again

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt last two conference and it was whatevers so wanted to switch things up. I really love the location. Very convenient and felt safe. Very easy to get to places via Uber or public transit. Our room was really nice and service was great all around from reception to dining to the Balthazar who responds via the Hilton app messaging. Enjoyed drinks and dessert at Fog Room. There was a $25 tourism fee or something but they give it back in dining credit and since we went for business it was like additional money for dining that technically would be categorized as hotel.

Lack of hot water Lobby bar closes at 9pm, even when the Fog Room Rooftop Bar has a private function. Ridiculous.

I stayed here but ONLY because my friend got this place :/ it just so happened to be a weekend that Taylor Swift was in town playing at the Lumen field so every hotel was FULL!! Ok so let me just start off that the parking situation is HORRRRRIBLE. Either you pay $60 a day for Valet or pay $36 a day at the self parking structure that's located on the complete opposite side of the hotel building. Once you park in the self parking structure you need to take the elevator down and walk out to a sketchy street where you have to be vigilant while walking towards the hotel. Anyway.. the valet guys were pretty friendly and helped me out with directions around the area. Once we checked in the guy in the front desk didn't know ANYTHING. I asked him what time the fog room closed and he had no clue and didn't even bother to check. So I just googled it myself. Once we got to our room the hallways seem really creepy on the 12th floor. I'm not sure if it's the same on the other floors. So we went to go check out the fog room around 1130pm and of course they had already stopped serving food. The room was pretty decent at least the bed and pillows were super comfy. Everything in the room was unnecessarily designed to appeal customers because the lights were so annoying to turn on and off. Then the shower was so complicated. There was no reason for the 2 way shower head. Oh and forget about even getting service on your phone. You'll get ZERO service unless you pay $10 a night for internet. Lol this hotel could've spent a little extra for customers actually getting internet or a convenient parking system instead of the unnecessary extras inside the rooms. I think one good thing was that we had a mini fridge but no microwave. You need to use the microwave downstairs in the lobby. Ok so overall I can honestly say I don't recommend this hotel unless you're staying last minute for one night. It is close to Pikes Market but that's about all.... You'll be walking about 10-15min everywhere else. I won't be staying here anymore.

A great boutique hotel. Clean room, friendly people, ideal location. My room and bathroom were immaculate. I didn't have much of a view, but didn't care. I hadn't been planning on sitting there and looking out the window all day. I liked that the shower had a two-way head (regular and handheld), once I figured out how to use it. I got a not-so-fun surprise my first time, as I turned the handle the wrong way, which turned on the handheld that was pointed right at me (who was standing outside the open shower door), so the bathroom floor and I got soaked with cold water. It was nice that the room had a mini fridge, but kind of dumb that said fridge was actually only a "drink cooler," as the temperature was not cold enough to store food safely (per the note on the fridge). I mean, what's the point then? Like why not just set it five degrees cooler? At least it kept my Rachel's Ginger Beers cold. Everyone working the front desk was very nice. I checked in midweek and was able to get helped right away. I did notice, however, that on several occasions over the weekend (including Friday), the lobby was literally full of people. It's a small lobby (boutique hotel, remember!) with only two or three computers at the desk, and a ton of people had come into town for a cruise. Also in the lobby, there's coffee in the morning and fruit-infused water in the afternoon. I didn't eat at either restaurant, but it's nice to have the option in-hotel, especially since the roof-top bar is open late and everything in the neighborhood seems to close so dang early. The location can't be beat, as it's only a block away from Pike Place; 1.5ish blocks from Link (which is a super cheap/easy way to get to Seatac, UW, T-Mobile Park, Lumen Field, Chinatown, and a bunch of other places); and ~3 blocks to the Monorail (which goes to the Space Needle and Climate Pledge Arena). Everyone (travel guides, reddit) seems to say how dangerous the area is, especially 3rd Ave between Pike and Pine. Is it the best area? Heck no. Did I ever feel scared as woman walking around by myself? Also no. Take that as you will, though, as I'm used to walking around SF's Civic Center and Tenderloin for work, so not much phases me anymore. I just made sure to stay off my phone and be aware of my surroundings. There were quite a few people doing drugs (I unfortunately saw a lot of butts I cannot unsee) but they all stayed in their corners and alleyways. No one came up to me to yell in my face or harass me. I even ended up walking back to the hotel around 11pm from the Monorail and was a bit surprised at how not-scary it was. So, if you're more of a suburbanite or have lived a sheltered life, you may not feel too comfortable. But if you're used to the sketchier parts of SF or LA or NYC, you'll probably find it okay. I'd definitely stay here again.

After staying at a Homewood Suites in Michigan for five weeks, two nights at The Charter was the vacation we needed. Here's why booking at The Charter is a good idea: 1) Location: You can't be in a better location to get the Seattle tourist experience. You're two blocks from Pike Place Market, a short walk to Olympic Sculpture Park and the Space Needle. Minutes from top coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and bars. You're around the corner from the Westlake Park LINK station that takes you to the SEA airport. 2) Service: You're greeted the moment you walk into the lobby. The check-in process is fast, smooth and friendly. Staff lead with efficiency and comfort. We were recognized as Diamond Members and explained our perks up front. 3) Amenities: Rooms are stocked with quality shampoo, soap, etc, a Keurig machine, iron, etc. Their Waldorf Astoria beds are very comfortable. The hotel itself has a very big gym with more than enough equipment. They have a steam room/sauna, a restaurant and a rooftop bar with city views. 4) Rooms: They are spacious. A single room generously for my family of three. The bathrooms are huge. Our room on the patio 11th floor gave us a city view. 5) Design: It's simply, yet beautifully designed from the lobby to light fixtures. It's modern, always chic and never gaudy. During the pandemic, valet parking isn't available, but there's a garage next door that is self-service. It costs $36 a day to park.

Planned a last minute trip to Seattle with my man & was lucky enough to score a deal being a Diamond member/Hilton friends&family! I'm hella glad I did because like others have mentioned the location was perfect especially if you're like me and didn't rent a car & want to be near shopping and the Pike Place Market! I noticed there were definitely more (what I call) walkers at night than there was during the day but they mind their own business. I picked the top floor for our room from the app & loved the modern design, big bathroom, extra bedding, and even comfy robes! I agree with another review that our room was SPOTLESS. One morning we ran into housekeeping on our way out and he was hella sweet and insisted that we take extra water bottles and toiletries etc. Another thing that stood out was, the $50+ credit I got everyday towards their restaurants or mini market (GET THE CHOCOLATE) by the front desk and the GYM! Trust, I'm not one to go out of my way to workout during vacation but this was the best & CLEANEST hotel gym I've ever seen & used. Including a steam room, sauna, and showers (that was only missing toiletries). Overall, one of the best Hilton's I've stayed at including their customer service. Only downside was that they don't offer room service and from what I heard their parking can be pricey.

The Charter Hotel is fantastic. From the moment we checked in, the service was fantastic. We took the train into Seattle, and the Charter was a short walk from King Street Station. Very convenient! The room was spacious and very clean. The views were great, we could see a good part of downtown and we could see the waterfront too! The hotel was a great place to basecamp for a couple days downtown. It was a brief walk to the Space Needle and it was only a couple of short blocks down to Pike Place Market and the original Starbucks. The rooftop restaurant was a great place to wrap up a busy day. We will absolutely stay here again on our next Seattle visit!

The hotel is easy to locate, and front desk people that I've interacted with were all nice. The room was a standard Hilton-type room with a nicer bathroom. The room was a tad dusty and did trigger my allergies, but other than that, it was clean and well stocked. What I knocked stars off for were all the all charges and the unavailability. So there is a $25 fee to stay here, unless you dine here and charge it to your room- then it's credited to your meal/drinks- but in the morning I couldn't dine here because their restaurant was not open before I had to leave for work. They do give you a free drink coupon, though. I used it on dinner instead and went to their other restaurant (Fog Room). I ordered my food and drinks to go so I could enjoy in my room - in these cases, I usually tip 10% because I don't actually need a table or dishes that need to be cleaned or a server to attend to me. I, personally, think 10% is fair for the staff cooking and packaging and no other frills. BUT you don't get a chance to tip what you want - there is an automatic 20% tip added to your tab with an additional line to add more. I didn't argue with it, paid and just went on my way. For the unavailability piece- when I couldn't have breakfast there before work, I grabbed a drink and snack from the 24hr hotel lobby market instead and I waited at the front desk for quite a while. I was in no rush since I gave myself time for an actually breakfast for work but I was there for so long that the valet (I only assume that's his title) that could see me through the window, came in to see if I was being helped. When I said no he had to go into another room behind the front desk and grab someone. Lastly, the pillows that come with the room are quite uncomfortable for me (they are nice feather stuffed ones), but they have an option for foam pillows instead - you need only ask guest services. The person that helped me was very kind and said 2 would be sent up to my room. An hour later there was nothing, so I used the phone room to call guest services and the same front desk person said they were marked as delivered and maybe they just left them on the floor in front of my room. I checked and there was nothing. The person said that they would look into it and promised to get them sent up. Another hour later - nothing, so I tried to call again but it literally just rang for 4 min so I completely gave up.

Absolutely amazing hotel! One of my favs to be honest. Location location. This hotel is luxurious and only two blocks away from Pike Place. Right when you walk into the hotel you're greeted. Checked in, there is a $25 a day location fee but you can use that on a bottle of wine or snacks from the mini market they have which was really cool to me. I bought some small tequila bottles and specialty Seattle chocolate! The strawberry chocolate bar was my favorite. Room - right when I walked in I was stunned. Gorgeous wood, very modern, and a huge bathroom! The bed was very comfortable, and in the closet they had extra pillows and a fluffy blanket for how cold it gets at night. I don't use the heater because it makes me sick sometimes so that was a great extra thing to have. Amenities: The Gym was very spacious. Awesome to see in a downtown hotel like this one. But let me just say I was impressed they had a sauna and stream room. I mean who needs a gym? With cold weather that really was a treat for me. I felt spoiled I really enjoyed the cocktails at the Fog room on the rooftop. They also had some good oysters and fries with aioli very ono!

I stayed here in business, but I couldn't have picked a better location. A very short walk (like 2 blocks) to Pike's Place Market and other shopping. The hotel lobby is small, but clean and chic. There's 4 elevators so I never had to wait for one to take me to/from my room. The room was a decent size for being in the heart of Seattle. It was tastefully decorated, updated and very clean. Honestly, the room was spotless so kudos to the cleaning crew! The front desk staff was very friendly and provided complimentary bottle water throughout the day. The valet gentlemen were also very friendly and on point. There was a bit of a hiccup with my final bill but Ayden was phenomenal and helped me resolve it quickly and professionally. A huge thank you to Ayden for that! I'll be staying here again the next time I'm visiting Seattle.

I have been a Hilton Diamond member for the past 5-6 years, and it has always been a challenge to receive diamond status service when checking into hotels. However, my recent experience at the Curio Hilton Seattle was even worse. Firstly, when I arrived, someone had already checked in under my name. When I explained that this was impossible, the hotel employee insisted that everything was fine and gave me a key to what they claimed was "the best room we have." However, when I asked about "water view" rooms, the employee told me that they didn't have "water view" rooms. When I pointed out that I had seen photos online, they claimed that these photos were taken while the hotel was under construction, even though the photos were clearly from inside the room. Upon entering the room, I found bags and clothing scattered around and a strong smell of cigarette smoke, as though several people had been smoking in the room. Long story short, the other frond desk employee was able to move me to a corner water view suite, which was a much better experience, and a water view. However, I am still left without a clear explanation how they managed to check someone in under my name and into the room that was supposedly "reserved" for me. I also had an issue with the "room-in" breakfast service at the hotel. On my last day in Seattle, I wasn't feeling well and decided to have breakfast in my nice water view room. I called to order breakfast, as the hotel promotes a "room-in" experience, but the hotel employee who took my order said that my breakfast would be waiting in the restaurant. I asked for it to be delivered to my room, but when they called 25 minutes later (just a granola parfait and black tea), and I was told to pick it up in the lobby. When I explained that I was not feeling well, they eventually sent someone from the front desk to deliver the breakfast to me. While the front desk employee who delivered my breakfast did a great job and I'm sure it wasn't a part of their duty at all, the overall experience was very disappointing. It shouldn't have been necessary for me to explain that I was unwell in order to have breakfast delivered to my room, and it certainly did not feel like an in-room dining experience.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. By far the worst hotel I have ever been to. Incredibly horrible hospitality. I've stayed in hotels ranging from a travel lodge to the Ritz and nothing compares to being as bad as incredibly horrible as this hotel. The service at the downstairs bar was astronomically horrible as well as the upstairs bar, the staff is miserable and not willing to cater to their top paying customers. We complained about our air not working 4 times over a two night stay and nothing was ever done about it which was absurd due to the price people pay at stay at this sh*t hole. There was no hot water to shower with in the morning. If you are looking to stay here I would recommend anything else, I would never stay here again and if you are reading this I hope you find a better place to stay.

This hotel was crummy in every way. Forget anyone at the desk answering the phone. The place was in constant turmoil because nothing got done at the front desk or elsewhere. Not to mention the usual corporate green greed scam of no service to the rooms. I had a suite and one other room, and the experience was so bad that I'm considering never staying at a Hilton hotel again. I've had way better experiences at Marriotts. The only curio about this flop house is why anyone would go there again. Curio Seattle, you stink! I wanted to tell the mis-manager that, but he was never there, and it shows.

Beds are horrible The personal doesn't want to listen to a problem, the guest is having with the hotel. Restaurant doesn't know how to properly apply a food and beverage credit. Was responded to after the posted the blurb above, but I wrote the hotel and told the Front office manager my experience. I never heard back and that fell into place like how my stay went.

Want the Las Vegas experience in Seattle? This is pretty close and a good choice if you're a Hilton Honors member. Stayed here for New Years Eve for 2023 and the place is very...modern. Like fancy glass door shower with clothes drawers built into the wall "fancy modern." Seems to cater to 20-30 somethings with a decently high tax bracket. Fun stay and perfect for the occasion with two adults and two kids. Friendly helpful staff at the front counter. Comfy beds. Quiet rooms. The top floor bar is neat if overpriced but they make good cocktails. The hotel adds a $25 drink fee that you either use or loose. Since most drinks are $19 or more and includes a 20% gratuity you still will end up paying an extra $25 if you want to use this cost. That factor cost this place a star. I used some of my Hilton Honors points so my cost was reasonable considering it was New Years Eve but if I didn't have the discount I might have balked. Close to all the cool places near the Pikes Place Market. Walkable distance to the Seattle Aquarium and downtown shopping and restaurants/bars. Recommended is you're looking for something "upscale" in this part of town.

Customer service is not up to par at this location. The heater was not working in our room and they didn't do anything about it. Another problem is, they didnt give me the amex room upgrade because they said they were "fully booked." Their next sentence was "oh but we have this suite for extra $75 a night. Never booking hilton again

Hotel was clean, large, nice bathroom and linens, easy access at midnight as we had a very late flight! Room overlooked a parking garage, but who cares we just were sleeping. The front desk contacted transportation for us to the dock and all seemed well until my husband handed the driver $25 for 3 bags and driving two blocks. Thought that was reasonable, but the driver was angry and demanded more. I'd suggest the hotel speak to their transportation, we thought that was plenty of compensation, but he was very rude! We had breakfast in the paragon which did the most part was ok. Not a menu for kids. Overall, this hotel was comfortable!

The hotel is fairly new with a sleek modern look and that is where it ends. Many of the items have odd control or lack practical utility. They promote an on-site restaurant but they don't truly have one. They have a roof top bar with limited menu that won't accept people under 21. Very family difficulty. They don't have room service and if you order takeout you are on your own to get it all back down Staff is not helpful if you are looking to solve a challenge. The younger ladies hosting the rooftop restaurant are more interested in watch young customer men than attending to all. If you are over 30 you will likely feel out of place if not unwelcome The staff seems to want to make it a 20ish hipster only location. Which is not what is marketed in website.

With the pandemic still in the rear view mirror, I was fully expecting there to be little for the Charter to offer. As it turns out, it still managed to provide quite a bit and even impressed me in some areas! As yet another Hilton Diamond, I don't see most of their negative points during my stay. If you're an elite member and you don't spot a resort fee on the hotel when it's VERY CLEARLY listed in the pricing during booking, so much for being a veteran. Also the $25 fee is used towards dining credit which is what I ended up doing for breakfast at the Patagon. (Heck, I have seen complaints about no bellhop, when I literally was able to use one for my stay. What is with you people?) The room design is quite elegant and the beds are certifiably comfortable (though I was quite tired, so that may have contributed to the good nights of sleep).They also have that kind of bathroom where the toilet is in its own section hidden from the rest, which I prefer quite strongly over seeing it the first thing you open the door. Fitness center was fairly decent, but they also include a shower room and a sauna! Admittedly the sauna is pretty noisy when you get it started, but it does the job. Not often do you get to spend a night with such a nice relaxing amenity and without having to spend a single extra dollar. I do have two minor negative about the stay: the water pressure was pretty weak. I stayed up at the 15th floor, so that might not apply to everyone. If this is a serious sticking point for you, try to get one of the lower floors. The second negative is I have a "city view" room, but it is far from a glamorous view, browsing over just rooftops.

This was my first visit to Seattle so I can't compare the hotel to others in the area. Based on the 4.5/5 stars on Trip Advisor and being on the AMEX luxury hotel list, I had high expectations for my room. The room was clean but somewhat underwhelming. The bed is super uncomfortable and the thermostat is super sensitive - turning on and off every 25 seconds. Shower pressure is low but can be improved by switching the water to the secondary head. Diamond benefit is $15 credit per person for breakfast which is very good but only valid for Fri-Sun. They have to-go breakfast for weekdays but it isn't very good (water bottle, packaged half-frozen muffin). They didn't even have coffee to-go, why is this benefit removed due to COVID? Mixed feelings on the staff there, make sure you ask for Krissi if you want someone friendly and personable. Concierge service not available due to COVID. Also beware of their charges - I had to contact someone twice regarding my folio because they didn't credit my diamond allowance and then I got a charge after I checked out. Folio is super confusing with charges in the Credit column and credits in the Charges column - good way to confuse you. The location is very convenient to Pike Place Market (2.5 blocks away) and 3-4 blocks away from the mall. Take the Link Light Rail to/from the airport ($3 vs $50 uber). In summary - a good place to stay if you expecting a three star hotel. Very sub-par for a 4-5 start hotel.

Our first time staying here was November 4 & 5 2022 and it was great. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Nice gym on 3rd floor. The lounge on the 16th floor was great too.

GREAT place to stay when you are in Seattle. Honestly, any 4 star hotel in Seattle will cost a little higher than average but the location and available amenities this place has to offer is by far the best! The room had a modern feel, and although it faced the parking structure, it wasn't all too bad since the building surrounding it were tall. The room was clean and everything needed for a night's stay is provided. It is very family friendly, with a good selection of traditional breakfast choices at the Patagon. The location is a minute or two walk away to Pike's Public Market, as well as to other restaurants in the area. The coolest feature is the rooftop bar on the 16th floor. Although last call was at 11:15 pm, I felt no pressure to leave right away. If you have a rental or plan to drive here I recommend using the valet service due to its in and out privileges. Concierge were very nice and professional. You can NEVER go wrong with Hilton property. They are flexible compared to places like the Marriott Bonvoy.

This is a reasonably priced hotel, centrally located with an excellent, friendly staff. Seattle and the hotel were packed during my stay as to be expected in the summer. Room was clean and although as a diamond member I didn't get an upgrade, it was still very comfortable and accommodating.
