Yelp
This Cheesecake Factory has one of the best, if not the best, location/lots ever; yet it is one of these worst ones to visit and actually dine at.
The interior is huge and honestly has so much potential. The only reason they are still in business is because they are a chain restaurant and everyone loves Cheesecake Factory, their food, and their vast cheesecake menu that is offered.
What basically ruins this particular location and the whole Cheesecake Factory experience for me is the employees and the management here.
My party and I walked in and waited so long just to be acknowledged by the hostess, who seemed to be busy on her phone; she informed us of the wait time and asked for one of my friend's phone numbers so that we could receive a text when our table was ready. She gave her number and we proceeded to walk around the Americana until we received a text and headed back to the restaurant.
We arrived and went to the hostess table/area as instructed to do so by the text message that we had received. There were three employees behind the hostess table who were all interacting with one another rather than any of the customers. Mind you, none of their conversations seem to be work related. that's fine, I know that sometimes it's good to take a break or just take it easy.. but honestly, there were so many people surrounding the hostess table that it was ridiculous that not one of them was at least addressing customers or at least helping seat all of the people that were just standing there waiting.
A member of my party finally got the attention of one of the employees and let them know that we had received a text that our table was ready. The employee acknowledged us and then walked off never to be seen again. Roughly some time passed and I went ahead and attempted to get the attention of another hostess? employee? person? And after doing so, they finally had us seated within the next five minutes but said that no one had told them we had arrived already.
During the time that we were waiting to be seated, we noticed that another customer was attempting to get the attention of the hostess as well. She finally did and was asking about being seated at a table that would be stroller friendly for her child; in the middle of asking this question, the hostess literally just walked away. I was so confused, because who does that? Mid sentence? Really?
Anyways, she came back giggling with her male coworker and made no attempt to talk to the customer until minutes later. When she did, she looked at her and said, "you're asking about a table for 3?" and the woman basically corrected her and explained her request again.
We finally got to our table and ordered our food. Honestly, I don't remember cheesecake factory being this bland when it comes to their pastas, but this might've been the last time I returned for any food that is remotely complicated to make (I've tried multiple different pasta dishes here).
Their four cheese pasta is probably the only one that's good, but I would stay away from everything other than their chicken dishes, which they are really good at making.
Overall, this dining experience was not the best. our server was pretty nice though, so that was a nice change of pace from everyone else that we dealt with here.
