"Kids love choices as much as the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack. That’s why The Citadel is such an easy and reliable spot to take little opinionated Omar out to eat. They’ll likely gravitate towards United States Burger Service, because you can grab your burger from inside little mailboxes. They also have excellent bowls of carbonara at Borti and ice cream that can be used as a form of bribery to eat the edamame you got from Poke-San. They do have high chairs in case you have a runner who needs to be strapped down." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer
"Little River’s the Citadel offers a refreshing take on the classic food hall concept, with an added rooftop bar serving well-crafted cocktails and an array of dishes from its diverse food vendors." - Dara Smith
"The Citadel is a big food hall in Little River with a few vendors we really love that are worth prioritizing. United States Burger Service is responsible for an outstanding burger, Borti makes a great carbonara, Guerito’s does a solid burrito, and Kaiju (slightly hidden on the second floor) is an exceptional cocktail bar. The Citadel itself is great for big groups, pretty casual, and has a full bar as well as rooftop seating with a surprisingly good sunset view. " - ryan pfeffer
"This Little River food hall has a nice rooftop called the Key, with umbrellas for shade and a solid sunset view. But the best part is the food, so if you’re trying to eat on a roof, this is the place to go. There are some stellar vendors downstairs, and you can order right from your table. Options include one of Miami’s best burgers from United States Burger Service, a ridiculously good rigatoni carbonara from Borti Pastabar, and Frice, one of our favorite ice cream shops in Miami. They accept reservations for the rooftop as well." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino
"The Citadel is a big food hall in Little River with a few vendors we really love that are worth prioritizing. United States Burger Service is responsible for our hands-down favorite burger in town, Frice Cream makes our favorite ice cream, Lil Laos is delicious (and Miami's only Lao restaurant), The Shores does good Florida seafood, and Ash Pizza serves a solid Neapolitan pie. The Citadel itself is great for big groups, pretty casual, and has a full bar as well as rooftop seating with a surprisingly good sunset view. " - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
