The Minds Behind Fitzhugh Avenue Fave Beverley’s Will Open a Cozy New Neighborhood Lounge | Eater Dallas

"Set to open on Fitzhugh Avenue later this year, Clifton Club is a project from chef Greg Katz (who also opened Beverly’s on Fitzhugh in 2019) that will be more of a drinking spot than a full restaurant: I learned it will have lots of small tables, a green marble bar, and a flexible, plant-covered indoor-outdoor space in the former Zippers location. Katz told the Dallas Morning News he hopes the bar will be the perfect pre- or post-dinner stop or a convenient pit stop for people using the Katy Trail." - Brittanie Shey

Attended a wedding here. I think it was the lady in charge she was so nasty and mean. don’t recommend booking ur events here. Sad because the food and atmosphere was nice

Clifton Club is a beautiful old mansion perfect for smaller meetings or larger weddings & events.

Very nice place for a private event. I'm not a member, but have been to a couple events.

When the weather is nice this is a beautiful option for a wedding venue. Our friends just had a wedding ceremony on the beach and reception that was both outside and partially inside. It happened to work out great and was an excellent location. Only challenge is parking could get tight and you have to be or know a member of the club.

Had an all day company meeting here. It is a very unique and quaint space. They have a dining area where we had lunch and a bar where we grabbed drinks after our meeting. They also have a nice area outside to have your drinks!

Simple little club house for Lakewood and Rocky River "elitists" with a very high opinion of themselves and low opinions of everyone who isn't them. Any self respecting member of the human race would do better to affiliate with the closed minded individuals who don't make enough money to belong to a yacht club, but want to feel special. The staff feed into their inflated egos, the drinks are poorly mixed, and the beach is filthy.

Yelp
Food is very good but very pricey and portions are extremely small. I have been to the restaurant twice for small group holiday parties two years in a row - both times were mid-week so it was pretty quiet and not busy at all. The decorations and ambiance are nice and staff is very attentive, however both times I was there the wait staff wreaked of cigarette smoke everytime they approached the table. The smell was so strong each time - almost like they were out in the kitchen smoking between courses. This was a big turn off for me. Our small group always has a private room but dinner is served off of the standard dinner menu so I assume the portions and prices are typical of any meal here and the entire menu is á la carté.

Yelp
I thought this was an OK experience. The food was good, but rather expensive (even if you were a member). You'd think you would get a discounted price of some sort. The service was good also. However, I'm not sure I could tell you what the difference is between this place and any other public restaurant. Maybe I expected something different since this is private. I think one could have a much better experience at Pier W or something like that in the area.

Yelp
At a baby shower and I'm not aloud to order a mimosa .... Very confused by the staff here. Horrible place. I'm in a old haunted house here.
