The Best Restaurants in San Francisco’s Richmond District | Eater SF

"There are few better coffee shops in San Francisco — maybe the West Coast — than the Coffee Movement. Strident hipsters will hike up Nob Hill until they die, but the new-ish outpost on Balboa Street has room to hang out, exquisite pastries, and tremendous glass windows to capture any lingering San Francisco sun. The usual menu of innovative coffee drinks, such as the seasonal coffee cream soda, is available at this location. Cafe pop-up Hi-NRG, two baristas who cut their teeth here, in the Inner Richmond is worth investigating, too." - Paolo Bicchieri

16 Quintessential San Francisco Coffee Shops

"There’s nothing as fine as sitting on foggy Balboa Street while the alchemists at Coffee Movement’s second (and greatest) location crank out the army of coffee ordered each morning. The flights are affordable, a chance to try one well-sourced coffee brewed three ways or to try three well-sourced coffees brewed one way. Plus, there are rotating coffee concoctions such as the Earl Greyhound made with filter coffee, grapefruit, Earl Grey tea, tarragon, elderflower tonic, and lemon balm." - Paolo Bicchieri, Lauren Saria

The Coffee Movement Review - Richmond - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The hottest place to caffeinate in the Avenues is The Coffee Movement, a minimalist cafe unsurprisingly focused on coffee. Unlike the in Nob Hill, this Central Richmond outpost has a much larger space (read: actual indoor tables). The highly friendly staff this place is known for are inside too, and they’re determined to figure out your “fun plans for the rest of the day” as you move down the coffee bar. Drink a seasonally changing latte or grab a coffee tasting flight, and pretend to read a novel while watching strollers and couples in oversized fleeces rotate in and out of this place.  " - Julia Chen

Nine Spicy and Creamy Chai Drinks to Keep You Cozy in San Francisco | Eater SF

"The drinks at this Nob Hill — and now Outer Richmond — coffee shop famously rotate often, so keep an eye out for when the menu rolls over. But in the meantime, don’t sleep on the expertly-crafted chai latte of black tea, milk, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, pepper, and malt." - Paolo Bicchieri

If the motto is “Good times, better coffee,” Coffee Movement Richmond is halfway there, and thankfully, it’s the half that matters most. The coffee is excellent. Seriously. Pour-overs that make you reconsider your life choices, most of the time. The fit-out is clean, modern, and quietly confident, just like the espresso. If you’re here for conversation or small-town hospitality, you might be disappointed. But if you’re here to caffeinate and get on with your day, you’ve found your place. Price point is solid. I usually pop in for a split shot to share with my partner and finish with a pour over. I pay for the single estate coffee, because why would you not. Let’s be real: the service doesn’t quite hit warm-and-fuzzy, but then again, you don’t go to a tattoo artist for a cuddle, and you don’t come here for chit-chat. You come for seriously well-made coffee, and in that department, they overdeliver. Whether you’re grabbing a quick takeaway or lingering to people-watch in the Richmond flow, Coffee Movement delivers on its promise, maybe not the “good times,” but definitely the “better coffee.” Most chumps order milky coffees... perhaps the baristas want to serve people that love coffee. Open for opinion.

Google
TCM did not disappoint. The almond croissant has just enough jam in it. The service was streamlined with 3 people all doing different task in making the coffee to make the line move quickly. The space was minimalistic and have seats outside as well. Coffee was point in. Will come back again.

Google
I have mixed feelings about The Coffee Movement. The coffee wasn't bad, the ham and cheese croissant was VERY good, and the shop itself was pretty nice. The problem is mostly just around the value. The latte was quite tiny, and not at all cheap. I get that SF tends to be a bit more expensive in general, but I'm not sure I can justify returning for this price, outside of special occasions.

Google
Absolutely loved the pour over. Staff was cool. Coffee was great but $11 is the most I have ever paid for one drink. Neighborhood was interesting.

Ordered flat white, nice latte art, tastes smooth without sourness or bitterness. There are few indoor seats with great natural lights, nice cafe to stop by for a cup of coffee

Google
I am visiting San Francisco and when I ask baristas at any quality coffee shop where they recommend, this is always their first answer. Batch brew flight!!!!!!! $6. Or you can get a single-coffee flight (espresso, filter, cortado). Glorious concept. Staff is really friendly too 🫡

Google
The Coffee Movement has been on my wish list for a while to visit as I’ve heard good things. This spot is one of their two SF locations and far enough from downtown to have plenty of nearby parking. Inside the shop is super modern and aesthetic, the baristas get through orders quickly and the prices aren’t too bad either. On this visit I went with their signature cocoa cappuccino which tasted great. The cocoa component is just a dusting on top and not really part of the drink but the cappuccino itself was super smooth, balanced, and delicious. I only wish more came with the cup as it was a fairly small serving.

Google
I chose this coffee shop based on reviews and recommendations, but my experience was so-so. The line was outside and moved very slowly — but when you go inside, you understand why. The coffee shop isn’t small at all, but the layout is strange: there’s little space inside for people, and it’s unclear whether you should get a to-go order or expect to sit — there simply are no seats. The line seems longer than the coffee shop can hold, and it gives the impression that there are more employees than available tables. Yet service is still pretty slow: a regular coffee shop with one barista handles orders faster than these four people making my coffee. Because of this, there’s no “wow” effect — just an ordinary drink and the inability to sit and relax. In the end, the story of my visit boiled down to this: this coffee shop is the perfect place for those who are willing to stand in line, don’t mind cramped spaces and a large staff, and value the “busy” atmosphere over speed. For me, it was just another stop on the list where getting a hot drink takes more nerves than pleasure. I recommend that management buy tickets for the staff to travel to European cafes to gain experience and discover new flavors. P.S. When I shared my honest feedback, the owner’s response was a dismissive “please stop. your European cafe escapades await you.” In other words: they’re too clueless to fix the chaos and too arrogant to care. Don’t expect any improvements here—this coffee shop would rather mock customers than actually do their job.

Yelp
This place was recommended by our local coffee shop, AM CRAFT. We ordered a coffee flight, consisting of 3 pours-overs of the day's featured 3 coffees.  The lightest one tasted like a light tea, too light for me.  The second one was acidic with lots of brightness.  The third one was deep but not over burnt, my favorite. Their pastry was even better than their quality coffee.  Ham and Cheese croissant, Chocolate croissant, Blk sesame Kouign-amann. All were wonderful. Would love to come again.

Yelp
Aesthetically pleasing little cafe. Nice bar seating and a couple tables. Drinks are mid. Got a hot matcha latte w/ oat milk in a cappuccino sized cup. Matcha flavor is not as apparent. Tastes like warm milk. Disappointing on the matcha! 1/5 Also got the seasonal drink: coffee cream soda. Espresso, tonic, orange zest, vanilla bean, coconut whipped cream. 4/5 - didn't get much of the coconut cream on top. - average flavored espresso tonic Banana nut muffin: small size, basic muffin with sugar top, nothing special. 3/5

Yelp
What I ordered: -Cocoa Cappuccino [4/5] -Iced Latte [4/5] __ I finally had the chance to visit this place earlier this week. It wasn't too crowded; only one person was ahead of me. I tried the cocoa cappuccino and an iced latte, both of which were delicious and clearly high quality. The interior is minimalistic but quite small. The staff were friendly and nice. The only downside is the price--it's pretty pricey, and the cups are small. Despite this, I still recommend giving this place a try!

Yelp
My husband ordered the slow drip and I ordered the vanilla rosemary latte here and we both agreed that our drinks were exceptional! If you're more particular about your coffee, I'd say that this place is worth the try. For the slow drip, you could really taste the different notes of the coffee and the description that they gave for it was pretty on point. The latte was one of the best I've had in a while, and for those who care, the latte art was on point. One thing though is that some of the drinks here are pricey!! I don't remember the exact prices, but the slow drip was around $10 which is pretty steep for a smaller ish sized cup. Service here was really friendly. The store itself is aesthetic and I think it would be a great place to work or study. Overall, if you're looking for great coffee and willing to spend for it, this place is definitely worth the try! This place is a 5-star place based on the quality of everything, but I'm lowering it a star because of the price point.

Yelp
Top notch coffee! They have a concise menu, not distracted with many sweetenedoptions - come here for Good Coffee. The flight is fun - options to try different coffees side by side, or, the same coffee prepared differently. With this flight, you get the batch brew (which makes sense, since it's a small serving - pour over wouldn't make sense). This may have been the best tasting batch brewed coffee I've had. Still bright and interesting. The latte art on the flat white looks competition- worthy. The ordering process flows really nicely. Staff is friendly and helpful - order directly from the barista and slide your way down the bar to the register. The counter is clean and streamlined - they have built in espresso machines, removing the bulky visual barrier between you and the baristas. This makes for a more personal and interactive experience - it's a nice touch

Yelp
I'm going to throw it out there that ordering basic coffees here would not get you a good drink. Their popular drinks were cocoa cappuccino or some variation of vanilla latte. The store gets a huge line, I'm guessing they're either doing that signature cocoa cappuccino or a flight or something. I'm a boring folk who just wants a decently strong, not burnt, not smothered in sweetness type of coffee, so I went ahead and tried a basic latte. Not impressed. The color of it just looked too light. The taste was more milky than coffee. The ratio is just off. While the store looks like a very chill spot to hang around, the drink wasn't for me :(

Yelp
Beautiful modern/sleek interior! Lots of people gathering and working on the weekend I was planning on getting the cocoa cappuccino and then this coffee caught my eye. I don't remember what it was called but the tasting notes were: peach, lychee, jasmine, oolong. I thought it was a tea! The barista who helped me out gave me a sample and it was so unique. Never had coffee that tasted like tea, loved it :)

Yelp
Overall Thoughts: I'm not a coffee connoisseur but this place is legit, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. The baristas are super sweet and friendly too! I tried the vanilla rosemary latte and the cocoa cappuccino which were both great-- creamy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. I also had the espresso tonic which was a perfect blend of acidic, citrus, and rich flavors. 100% would love to return if I'm ever back in SF! -- Price (relative to peers): 4.7/5 Coffee: 4.9/5 Ambience: 4.8/5 Service: 5/5 Overall Value: 4.8/5

Yelp
Lovely cafe and excellent coffees. There was a short line outside the cafe but it moved quick and was definitely worth the wait! Staff were lovely and friendly and coffee was affordable for SF prices!

Yelp
I stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop over 6 months ago and it's become my go-to spot. The high-quality, fresh coffee is a game-changer. The skilled baristas ensure a consistently excellent brew, addressing one of my biggest concerns with other coffee joints. Surprisingly, the prices are reasonable, making it a win-win. The small selection of snacks and pastries complements the main star - the coffee. The efficient ordering process keeps the line moving fast, and the wait time from when you order to drink in hand is practically nonexistent. A coffee lover's paradise! Oh they also do this tasting flight where they make one coffee in three different way. I highly recommend it. Give this a try. Yelp doesn't lie and there is a reason behind the very high ratings. I'll call it a true 5 star coffee shop in a city with high bar for specialty coffee.

Yelp
Coffee Movement on NobHill owns a lot of my money to this point. I thought it was only fair if I attended their other location in the Richmond. Obviously it is just as good. Same offerings, but much bigger and room inside for activities. Same vibes. Great coffee. Didn't expect anything less. My favorite T-shirt is my coffee Movement shirt. I'm literally this places biggest fan. No I won't shut up about it. Thanks. (4.9 Stars)

Yelp
Stopped in here on a holiday Friday morning and the line had a couple of people ahead of us. We made it to the counter within a couple of minutes and as we were perusing the menu, the woman behind the counter was very nice and offered to explain if we had any questions. We ordered the cocoa cappuccino and given options on milk and sweetness, with both of us opting for regular milk and no added sweetness. The drinks were ready by the time we were done at check out, and the latte art was gorgeous! The drinks were really good as well. We also ordered two muffins: blueberry lemon curd and an orange one. Both, again, were really good. I also loved the ambiance as there were a bunch of people hanging out inside, some with their dogs outside, and it just felt like a nice neighborhood place to stop on a morning stroll.

Yelp
Simple yet delicious and an absolute must try especially when in the area. Very friendly baristas asking all the right questions, is dairy okay, hot or iced, sweetness level, and shall I put a sleeve on the half sweet drink?
google avatar

Yelp
Genuinely lived up to the hype it has. The baristas are so kind and friendly! Every time I come here I've seen how much they pay attention to detail. Service is quite fast despite how long the lines can get. The place is small itself so I've been doing more to go orders, but the coffee here is worth it!

Yelp
I had been eyeing "The Coffee Movement" for awhile but had given up when finding parking near the Nob Hill location was difficult. I was so glad to have found this other location. This location's cafe is on a slanted incline, so it's an interesting, small hike to the entrance. Upon stepping in, I noticed how clean and uncluttered the place was. The menu is quite simple, but the flights stood out to me. There are two flight options: quick filter, one coffee prepared three different ways. I opted for the filter option simply because it comes with three different coffees with very different taste notes (variety is the spice of life). I was amazed at how accurate the taste note descriptions were for each, and how different each cup was. I mean, one definitely tasted like a sweet dessert (Honduras House Blend from Saint Frank), one tasted like a hybrid of grapefruit and cranberry (Prodigal from Danche Cooperative), and one tasted like a tropical juice (Dak from Rodrigo Sanchez). I loved the variety and how different each cup was. The people working there were nice. There isn't too much seating inside, but if you manage to find a spot...you lucky.

Yelp
Great spot weekdays and weekends. Wide range of offerings including seasonal specialities, quick cups (regular drip ready to go), and espresso drinks. Also have a solid selection of beans and ancillary items to ensure you stay on top of your coffee game at home. Big fan of this place and its laid back vibes.
google avatar

Rose L.

Yelp
Super efficient, clean and chill! Loved studying here on a Sunday morning, line was long but it went fast. The ordering process is streamlined and quick, everyone was friendly! Ordered the vanilla rosemary latte and the snow jasmine! Loved the vanilla rosemary as it wasn't overtly sweet and not too coffee strong! The jasmine was fragrant and refreshing! Besides that, facilities were so clean, order was quick, and great WiFi!
google avatar

Misha T.

Yelp
Some of the best coffee in town. Just a great cappuccino, not too acidic, nice and creamy. Glad there's one on this side of town now.
google avatar

David Z.

Yelp
Dropped by to try the seasonal orange cream latte, and it did not disappoint! It really reminds you of an orange creamsicle but without being overly sweet (asian approved sweetness levels). Of course this is a latte and not a frozen dessert, but they've done a great job balancing the flavors with the espresso. You still know that you're drinking coffee, it's not overly milky, and it gives you the kick you need to start your morning.
google avatar

El Y.

Yelp
Best latte art I've seen in the Bay! Thank you to the friendly & talented staff. Very calming and minimalist vibes for studying and people watching (glass walls). Definitely try the Cocoa Cappuccino, which the coffee-loving owner(s) introduced from Australia, according to the baristas! It's smoother and milder than most lattes, but still got that unique zing you gotta try out for yourself. Matcha latte -- matcha and milk well blended, authentic & right amount of green tea flavor, the could-have-it-every-day kind.

Yelp
I was so happy to discover The Coffee Movement, which was under a 5 minute walk from my Airbnb. After my first meal in SF, I saw that this coffee spot was on the way back and I'm so glad I stopped by last Wednesday to check it out. The ambiance is simple, clean, and minimalistic. There are a few tables, a wall of coffee beans and coffee gear available for purchase, and some pastries available to purchase at the counter. The menu is on the simpler side with the typical espresso classics, a few specialty lattes, pour over, and a couple tea options. POUR OVER (CANDY CRUSH | COLOMBIA BY DAK) - 9 I've never had Dak Coffee Roasters (based in Amsterdam) before, but I was curious to try this roast as a pour over, which had strawberry lollipop and marshmallow notes. This pour over was on the more expensive side, and I wasn't expecting much because a lot of pour overs tend to be pretty average/forgettable. However, I was pleasantly surprised how fruity and juicy this pour over was. I could actually understand where the "strawberry lollipop" notes come from, as it was super bright and tangy with lots of that natural sweetness that strawberries have. I was blown away by a good pour over, and I'd highly recommend giving this a try! If it wasn't so cold/windy, I would have definitely tried the espresso tonic. I wish I got to try some of their lattes (the Orange Cream Latte sounds really good) but the Candy Crush pour over was too good to pass. I ended up stopping by again the day after for another pour over because I really enjoyed the tasting notes. It wasn't a difficult decision for me to buy the box of Candy Crush beans for 40, lol.

Yelp
I got a flat white it was so delicious!! Tastes high quality. The staff is really friendly and helpful also. My family and I sat down to enjoy our coffee and loved the vibe they've got going on in there. Will definitely be recommending this place to other coffee lovers.

Yelp
service is always so amazing! I love their orange vanilla americano (seasonal) the best! I wish their matcha latte was a bit stronger ):
google avatar

Yelp
3 months later and this place is still pretty solid when it comes to quality and great service! They do tend to get busy now so please be patient. Thanks team!
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee and tea spot in the mid Richmond area (19th Ave and Balboa). Place is small but atheistically minimalist white/black color palette scheme. Staff look and fashion gives off hipster vibe and are knowledgeable and friendly. Appreciate that it's a dog friendly spot.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
The coffee was delicious and the price couldn't be more reasonable. You order in an assembly line formation, walking and watching as they make your drink for you. Every barista we interacted with was incredibly accommodating and friendly; one even complimented my sunflower bag! The atmosphere was calm, bright and open. I'll be back! :)
google avatar

Alice S.

Yelp
This place is definitely one of my favorite coffee spots in the city now! The coffee's high quality, the folks working here are super friendly and helpful, and the ambiance is on point. Most recently, I tried the seasonal orange cream latte ($4.75), and it was absolutely delicious! I was initially worried that the orange flavor would be too overpowering, but the latte was actually very well balanced with just the right hint of orange zest. I highly recommend giving the orange cream latte a try! My friend ordered a cocoa cappuccino, which was pretty good as well. You really can't go wrong here. We stopped by mid morning on a Saturday, so this place was pretty packed, and there was a short line at the counter (~3-5min wait). But by the time we finished ordering our drinks, a couple of parties had just left and freed up some seats/tables for us.
google avatar

Mckenna M.

Yelp
Wow love love love! Needed some warmth on this very stormy, windy, rainy day and grabbed a vanilla rosemary latte with oat milk. My mom opted for the marshmallow option (recommended by barista) for tea. Very friendly atmosphere upon entering and lovely minimalist aesthetic. Small space, but I feel like a lot of places in SF are like this. There is seating to the right of the entrance and along the counter by the window to the left of the entrance. Service was fast for a Sunday morning and not too noisy. The drink!!!!!! The latte I had was so smooth and I really liked the rosemary flavor with the vanilla. I was a little scared to order it as rosemary can easily overpower a softer flavor like vanilla, but I thought there was a nice balance. The latte foam wasnt overly foamy and just overall it was a 5/5 latte. Wish my lattes at home could turn out like this one. Will return when I'm back in SF!!!!
google avatar

Bessie T.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, tea and pastries in a zen-like environment. They take their coffee very seriously and they are friendly and helpful at the same time. From the drip coffee flights, we liked their house blend the best and the house blend latte the most. Finally tried their coffee flights today - liked the experience very much and can't wait to try their tea flights. They have a limited selection of pastries but they hat they have are always good. Today's savory pastry was so yummy - we got two. Lines are common but it moves fast. Come and see for yourself.
google avatar

Ching C.

Yelp
One of the best coffee shops in SF! Can never go wrong with their drinks! Expect a line on the weekends but they are pretty quick! All the staff are extremely friendly and you can tell they are very passionate about coffee. They have season specialities as well and my go to is the espresso tonic but their rosemary latte was really good too!
google avatar

Brent F.

Yelp
One of my favorite cafes in the city. I don't live to close but whenever I am in the area and they are open I go for a coffee. I generally like regular espresso and they pull a great one, but they also have seasonal drinks which are really great so I sometimes go for that. The cocoa cappuccino is also great. They have a nice space to sit down and do some work if that is what you are looking for as well. Big shout out to how friendly the staff are, they are probably the friendliest cafe staff in the entire city. Street parking is generally not too hard in this area as well.
google avatar

Winnie L.

Yelp
Similar to the other OG coffee movement location, this place has delicious drinks, friendly workers, but the differentiated perk is the spacious interior! I tried the cappuccino and latte here and both were delicious. You can see them making your coffee every step of the way and the latte art always makes my day! Please add almond milk to the menu!!
google avatar

Loanne N.

Yelp
Great little coffee shop in SF! Definitely a grab and go place where you can get a quick drink. There's a few seats outside where you can stand or sit on the sidewalk. There's usually a short wait outside, we waited about 10 min before getting in as they only let the people ordering or waiting for drinks in one at a time. The coffee was high quality and they offer alternative milks. There's a few pastries available for purchase when you get the counter as well. Would definitely stop by again if I was in the SF area in need for coffee!
google avatar

Magz B.

Yelp
There's a line and limited seating.. but everyone was so friendly and efficient. The line went by quick and most people filter out to make room. The flight was fun! & the seasonal latte tastes like gingerbread Flight + croissant ~ $15 Iced americano + ginger spice latte ~ $9

Tori P.

Yelp
consistent flavors/pours every time I go and love their seasonal lattes. Friendly staff and quick.
google avatar

Victor W.

Yelp
Beautiful interior with great design and interior vibes. Definitely very aesthetic and pleasing to the eye. The shop is pretty small so try to know your order ASAP. The prices were AMAZING especially in a big metropolitan city like SF. We got the honey lavender oat latte which came out quick and i really enjoyed the latte. Not too heavy on the lavender, and just enough balance to keep you wanting another sip. Drinks came out super quick! Will definitely be back if I"m in the area. Parking is limited, so try to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods.
google avatar

Alexandria W.

Yelp
One of the best coffee spots in SF and the Richmond District! The interior is somewhat small so there normally is a line that goes out the door, but it moves very quickly. I got an oat milk latte and it was the perfect drink to get on a cold morning.
google avatar

Karen R.

Yelp
Ok we all know some coffee shops can be....hmmm you know, this one was not! You walk in, you're greeted, they exude patience & really seem to want to make you feel at home & to educate you about the process of enjoying a good cup. Was immediately made to feel welcome. I chose a tasting flight & a tomato, jalapeño croissant. All was great! A really comfortable & enjoyable place to be.
google avatar

Yelp
The only place in the country to get a cup of perfection, their Cocoa Cappuccino, from back to back top US Barista champs: Meg 2024, Reef 2023, Bryan 2022. This is the second location of the best coffee shop in San Francisco serving excellence every time. I don't get those waiting in line here when they're looking for a typical burnt/sharp tasting over/under extraction they can get anywhere
google avatar

Dom D.

Yelp
Long night... Long line... Seeking anything to give us a boost on our day... Feeling the strain from the long evening before... Finally through the door and order placed... I got the essence of my being... Water.. but they topped it off by asking if I wanted ice with my water and as I took the first sip out of the coffee movement logo'd cup... I knew I was going to make it through my day.
google avatar

Kislev A.

Yelp
Oh wow. The coffee here at THE COFFEE MOVEMENT is fantastic. They have two types of COFFEE FLIGHT: First, the same coffee is served three different ways. Second, three different coffees are served the same way. Either way, they are not served "to-go". I chose the first type. I got my coffee in drip form, espresso shot and piccolo style. Sooooo good. So smooth. Light and strong. The line to order wasn't too long and the wait to get our order wasn't either. There were three amazing baristas so each order was made correctly, efficiently and superbly.

LAURENCE M.

Yelp
Never disappoints. Cappuccino almost all the time Coffee and preparation always top notch. Incredibly friendly behind the counter
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Best coffee in SF period. Friendly staff, good vibes, and specialty coffee made to perfection. Quality control is something CM takes very seriously (I never had a bad drink here) Espressos stay dialed in throughout the day and the cappuccinos here are consciously served at the perfect drinking temperature. CM embodies what a specialty cafe should be!

Casey H.

Yelp
The workers are really nice and chill. The ambiance is calm as long as it's not too crowded - I was there on a rainy day and people were standing drinking their coffee because all the seats were taken. The specialty drinks are good. I've had the vanilla rosemary latte and the lavender latte and they were both interesting but not too herbal, which I wouldn't like. I'm curious what next month's special will be. I also like that you can get your drink in a real cup - so many places only have paper cups. I like to sit at the counter and look out the window and not have to chuck a paper cup and plastic lid afterwards.

First time. I finally found street parking so today was my day to visit this cool shop in the Richmond. Modern, minimalistic vibe. Limited counter, bench and table seating. Wide walkway that accommodates many patrons waiting for their drink of choice. Staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable considering how expensive a "cup of joe" now costs. For reference, a cappuccino is $3.50 with alt milk @ $.50. The big boy shops should take notice... I digress. My vanilla lavender latte was light in taste with notes of flavor, creamy, and just right. I'll be back to try other drink options as this is a highly recommended spot.

Yelp
The coffee movement has a new location and has a nice open energy with their trademark coffee movement truck still parked outside We got the vanilla lavender oat milk lattes which were nice on a cold day, could've used a little less oat milk perhaps and more of the other flavors, but still a fine latte which is hard to find these days The baristas were nice and fast at making our drinks, although it's sad that they don't have the same Yelp incentive as their original location, and odd that they only had two pastries left in the afternoon but they looked old and dry which is not the best look

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop! It was really packed when we came on a Saturday morning around 11am. It was a little hard to find parking (mostly street parking). My friend and I both got the iced vanilla rosemary latte with oat milk. It was delicious!

Yelp
I'm not a coffee drinker, so I was mainly intrigued by the tea menu. I ended up ordering the Winter Sprout with sweetener and cream. Wow! I was blown away. Honestly, I'm always hesitant ordering oolong tea from more modern businesses... but the quality was just as good as any Chinese tea shop! The oolong was fragrant and light. Very pleasant to drink and it gave me a caffeine kick too. It was such a comforting drink because of the cream. I would definitely come back for this. The interior of the cafe is very minimistic and aesthetic. The staff and baristas are incredibly friendly too.

Yelp
Came on President's Day Monday around 10:30am and cafe was busy. There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly. Drinks: Piccolo - a shot of espresso with an ounce or so of steamed milk, definitely espresso forward, slight acidity and bitterness Filtered coffee - they offer 3 drip coffees to choose from, selected the house blend which was nicely balanced not too acidic or bitter Cappuccino - well foamed milk and tasty espresso, preferred this over the piccolo but glad I tried it Service was great, really friendly baristas who chatted with us while we placed our order and they prepared our beverages. Overall great new addition to the Outer Richmond, definitely a busy place so be prepared for a little wait but definitely worth it. Great value as well for the quality of the drinks.
