"At The Coffee Movement, your baristas are a team of extroverts who are hell-bent on asking you about your plans for the day—so if you’re in the mood to socialize, come here for caffeine with a side of small talk. It’s a pleasant way to start a morning, especially when coupled with their seasonal lattes spiked with vanilla lavender or ginger spice syrup. "There’s nothing as fine as sitting on foggy Balboa Street while the alchemists at Coffee Movement’s second (and greatest) location crank out the army of coffee ordered each morning. The flights are affordable, a chance to try one well-sourced coffee brewed three ways or to try three well-sourced coffees brewed one way. Strident hipsters will hike up Nob Hill until they die, but the new-ish outpost on Balboa Street has room to hang out, pastries from Juniper on Polk Street, and tremendous glass windows to capture any lingering San Francisco sun. Along with the usual suspects of coffee — namely, the espressos, drip coffees, cappuccinos, and lattes on the menu — there is a tasting flight of three different coffees, or one coffee prepared in three different ways, perfect for learning about caffeine preferences.
