"Two veterans of the restaurant industry, Anderson Clark and Brian Douglass, have chosen Hillcrest for their first solo project: a new 5th Avenue eatery called Common Stock. Having met while working for the Hillstone Restaurant Group, and with Clark more recently helping to launch Catch in West Hollywood, they want to apply fine-dining knowledge to a casual counter-and-table service spot. Scheduled for late summer after a mostly cosmetic redesign described as “Copenhagen meets downtown New York City,” the menu will focus on nostalgic American favorites—burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs—reimagined with updated presentations and global ingredients; the menu is still in development but the team has been posting potential dishes on Instagram. I am not sure about this company’s customer service, or products, but I do know that their delivery drivers are reckless and endangering people’s lives. You at the leadership level need to address this as people have sons and daughters to go home to for some driver to be nonchalant about swerving and almost hitting people while almost tipping over the truck.
