On NYE 2017 I tried the pre-fix menu here, at $100; my friends who drink elected to do it in conjunction with the wine pairing paying $140. The service was great but the meal was incredibly disappointing, and coming from a family in restaurants, I know an overpriced meal when I see one. The crab bisque was tepid - the only temperature at which soup should never be served - and there was a single crab leg floating in it which was neither particularly appetizing nor an efficient way to serve crab. The scallop - singular, although the menu referenced the dish as "scallops," suggesting otherwise - was cooked beautifully but laughably portioned and over seasoned, especially in comparison to the size and seasoning of the course to follow. The lamb shank, although generously portioned, was very under-seasoned and for such a price tag one might have expected a better cut of lamb, especially in the context of the preceding courses. The chocolate mousse was okay and considering the rest of the meal, by default it was my favorite part. To add insult to injury, the coffee was weak and tea like. Our friends who elected to do the wine pairing were provided with 5 sweet wines, that neither paired well with the dishes nor with one another (although I have taken that on their word as I don't drink). I emailed the management, who did offer a free meal, but they were unfortunately more argumentative than receptive to my feedback which is why I decided to write a review. Nobody shelling out $100 to $140 should endure a meal such as the one I had.
