"Metro Detroit chef Matt Baldridge operated the Conserva for two years on Nine Mile Road before shuttering the project last December. Prior to that Baldridge worked in a variety of kitchens including Cliff Bell’s, the Rattlesnake Club, and Seldom Blues. He also ran a traveling dining series called Dinner Club Pop-Up, which made regular appearances at the former Menagerie Kitchen in Pontiac." - Brenna Houck

If you combined a unique culinary experience with your coolest corner bar you'd have Conserva. This is a new and still undiscovered gem. Get there now, before there is a line out the door! Warm and friendly. Professional, yet unpretentious service. Great drinks and I'm sure food. I didn't eat tonight because I wasn't hungry, but I will definitely be back to try the food! See Shayne at the bar. He was great! Anywhere with a golden turntable has my vote!

Really nice atmosphere and lovely patio. The night we went the menu was very much comfort food which is what we needed. While everything was delicious, there wasn't a "Wow" factor that I was hoping for. Great staff, good food and atmosphere. Keep up the good work and don't be afraid to take it to the next level!

A couple of dishes were missing something, the white fish too salty, and the same bread is the base for about 4 dishes which was a disappointment. They chef made a few meals vegetarian for me which was great! But it took us 2 hrs to get out of there because the waitress took 30 mins to ask us our orders and 30 mins for us to get us our check. Enjoy the pics!

We spent our New Year's Eve at The Conserva, and haven't ever had a better experience! The food here is exceptional, and obviously prepared with great personal care. Six amazing courses, each one complimenting the one following, and every one delicious. The wine pairings were well chosen too - my favorite was the sherry...very nutty and flavorful and a real winner. From the oysters all the way to the incredible dessert, it all added up to a memorable, wonderfully satisfying evening.Truly dazzling! Friendly, attentive staff as well. Great place!!

Amazing atmosphere and great vibes! Its laid back yet elegant and sophisticated serving high end modern renditions of classic dishes. They also have beautifully crafted drinks and cocktails. With a rotating menu, you'll never get bored and will be pleasantly surprised by the variety week to week

Been here quite a few times and have never had anything I didn’t like. The dishes are creative and love being able to try new things. My husband and I love going and sharing a few dishes together and be able to try more then just one thing. Great ambiance and staff is always friendly. Love being able to come here and have dinner and drinks in a sophisticated atmosphere.

On NYE 2017 I tried the pre-fix menu here, at $100; my friends who drink elected to do it in conjunction with the wine pairing paying $140. The service was great but the meal was incredibly disappointing, and coming from a family in restaurants, I know an overpriced meal when I see one. The crab bisque was tepid - the only temperature at which soup should never be served - and there was a single crab leg floating in it which was neither particularly appetizing nor an efficient way to serve crab. The scallop - singular, although the menu referenced the dish as "scallops," suggesting otherwise - was cooked beautifully but laughably portioned and over seasoned, especially in comparison to the size and seasoning of the course to follow. The lamb shank, although generously portioned, was very under-seasoned and for such a price tag one might have expected a better cut of lamb, especially in the context of the preceding courses. The chocolate mousse was okay and considering the rest of the meal, by default it was my favorite part. To add insult to injury, the coffee was weak and tea like. Our friends who elected to do the wine pairing were provided with 5 sweet wines, that neither paired well with the dishes nor with one another (although I have taken that on their word as I don't drink). I emailed the management, who did offer a free meal, but they were unfortunately more argumentative than receptive to my feedback which is why I decided to write a review. Nobody shelling out $100 to $140 should endure a meal such as the one I had.

I thought the food was amazing but I will never come to this establishment again. The service was horrible and we were basically told to leave. I went with two friends and we had a reservation at 7pm on a Friday night. We ordered a good amount of food to share amongst the table. When the food arrived there were no serving utensils, and upon new dishes we had to ask for new plates and silverware. We barely saw our waiter, he never offered us a bottle of wine, so instead we just ordered it by the glass which seemed odd. Then at 9 pm the hostess came to our table to inform us that there was another reservation and could we pay our bill, which wasn't even given to us yet. She didn't apologize or ask if we wanted to finish our desert or drinks at the bar. It was really awkward and off putting. If I had any advice it would be to hire some of the staff at Otus Supply, they know how to treat customers. If the service changed I would definitely go back because the food was excellent, not a bad dish
