I bought a new Asian chef knife, It is so beautiful! Talk to them about sharpening their professional sharpeners! I didn’t realize how tall my knives were until I bought this new one. I can’t wait to get my beautiful knives sharpened!

We attended the Exploring Curry/ Massaman Curry class with Chef Sunisa Somnuek. Chef Sunisa’s style, delivery and knowledge of the content is extraordinary. Her life time of cooking these remarkable dishes, her family stories and her treasure trove of family recipes, are infectious. Chef Sunisa’s ability to connect with her class and facilitate delicate cooking principals is the high point of the evening. 90% percent of this class was hands on cooking, 5% percent lecture and 5% eating what you prepared! For Chef Sunisa, how you prepare and what you create are the most important part. What was so refreshing was this class wasn’t a commercial for cookware, gadgets or supplies. It was about the journey and reward of creating a wonderful meal with these treasured recipes and skills. And yes, our table’s Curry and Chicken Satay was TD4 (to die for). We will be back for more classes. They staff the warehouse with a team to allow you to shop after the class. Tali was such a lovely and charming help to us- even recommended a fine Mediterranean Restaurant! While we were there we took advantage of the discount the Warehouse gives you for attending the class. I left with a Smithy Wok and some dishtowels, because hey, who doesn’t need more dishtowels? My highest recommendation I can give. BRAVO to Chef Sunisa and Tali.

6 years later and I'm finally writing a review. I took the Lunar New Year Celebration class in January 2019 where I learned how to make my own Chinese dumplings....to this day, I still use the same recipe the chefs shared with us as the base of my dumplings. And in the 6 years, I have been able to develop my skills from what I was taught in the class, but the basis they provided me was the perfect springboard to what I am making now! Hundreds of dumplings later, and I am one happy student!

The Cook's Warehouse is a top-notch venue for events! My company recently hosted our second private event there, and it was so much fun! 🧁 A huge thank you to Event Manager Ashley Laurens for her flawless planning and welcoming atmosphere that made everything a breeze. Chef Melissa and her team were incredible, bringing energetic enthusiasm and turning baking into a delightful party!

Google
I visited The Cook’s Warehouse based on a recommendation from Facebook. Upon arrival you’ll see the Publix and it’s tucked on the left side of a walkway. They had some really great stuff at great prices. Mary Francis was super helpful and I found out they have classes on their website. While getting your cookware check out their gourmet oils and vinegar they are really delicious. I got the caramelized garlic oil and fig balsamic. They only had hand carts so bring a wagon if you are shopping for heavy items.

My MIL bought me a cooking class ticket to participate in a bread making class. It was wonderful. The class was led by Chef Paul and he did a great job walking step by step in making 3 different breads with sides to go along with them. The class was great and I am looking forward to signing up for more.

Google
This is a fantastic shop I was able to visit while in Atlanta. I left with a handful of good cookware items, including a Zwilling knife and Staub Dutch oven. Greg worked the knife counter, was very knowledgeable, and we had good discussion on options. A woman I can’t remember the name of spent a good while helping me find the Dutch oven that would be best for me; from looking up multiple options and prices, talking through my cooking, to sorting through boxes so I could JUST look things over. She wouldn’t even let me help her clean everything up afterwards (boxes & wares were everywhere). Everyone else I spoke to was great also. Fantastic shop with fantastic people. A picture of the knife I snagged is attached.

Yelp
I love going to this store. They have great kitchen supplies. I go there to have my knives and kitchen scissors sharpened. It's a great convenient and prompt service. You can shop for yourself or for wonderful gifts!

Yelp
When I lived in ATL, the Cook's Warehouse was the place to go for kitchenware and cookware. Having come back here after so many years, I can see that it still is the place to go for cookware and kitchen supplies. They also hold cooking classes here and do cooking demonstrations on special occasions which are incredible and worth the price you are paying. Everything is top notch quality at The Cook's Warehouse, and the knives section is very impressive. If you are a true chef and looking for high quality knives, the Cook's Warehouse is where you need to go. They have expert staff who can help you pick out the particular knives you need for your kitchen and professional use. The name brand cookware and kitchen supplies are worth coming to this store. The Cook's Warehouse is not a cheap place to shop for cookware and kitchen supplies, so if you are looking for something inexpensive, this is not the place for you. However, the experience and expertise of the staff to help you find what you are looking for in your kitchen is worth coming to this store to shop. You will definitely receive excellent customer service and a great product when you come to the Cook's Warehouse. Come on by and shop here for kitchenware or cookware. It is worth every penny!!

Yelp
Selection of cooking and baking items is vast. I live very close, frequent the store often and usually can't leave without spending at least $50. Ha. The staff is very helpful. They all seem to have experience using the items, and are always willing to answer your questions! For beginner and expert chefs/bakers alike, I would recommend

Yelp
All the employees were helpful and welcoming, even after a long busy day of Christmas shoppers. Everything a cook could want is here, excellent selection of quality products. Thanks to all the staff for providing a 5 star experience.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience, putting a knife collection together for my daughter who is a new Line Cook. She was amazing and very helpful. Teresa Hirsh made my experience amazing!! thank you so much !!!

Yelp
BEWARE: Do NOT buy this as a gift. Bought class 2 months in advance, and just before the class, when too late to get another gift, was notified that they booked a large group for the class and kicked my registration out of the class. No accommodations were made for ruining a Christmas gift except to offer a date for another class that we were unavailable for. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. Don't support!

Yelp
Disclaimer: This review is for the cooking class only! Update July 2019 After my previous review....I was reached out to by the team and given 2 free vouchers to try another cooking class. I am SO glad I took them up on their offer!! Signed up for the French macaron making class and this experience was as different as night & day. Smaller groups, each of us got to practice all aspects of macaron making. The lead chef Lizzy was patient and explained every step in great detail. The staff was still stellar. Overall: I enjoyed this class so much more! After that experience will definitely try some of their other classes.

Yelp
I've taken two cooking classes (knife skills and chili) here. The chefs, assistants, and staff have been terrific. Staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoy coming here and encourage others to do business here!

Yelp
Update: After my previous experience/review someone from customer service reached out and offered a complimentary do-over. Kudos for the prompt response. This update is delayed since I just signed up for a class (French Macarons 101) and had a blast. The class was on a Sunday afternoon and there were a lot less people. The staff and Chef Lizzie seemed well prepared as we were able to divide ourselves into groups and work efficiently together. I think it all comes down to the number of people registered for the class and if there are any large groups. I learnt a lot about making French Macarons - since it was hands on, we made the shells, the filling and even got to sample all the flavors. A take home pouch with a sample set was a good treat.. I will definitely be back for another class. I highly recommend the French Macaron class to beginners or experienced cooks who haven't had success making them Macarons. ------------------------------------------------ Meh experience. My first cooking class so I was excited to do this for Valentine's Day! The cooking experience is inside The Cook's Warehouse - which is a retail shop with all that you need in the kitchen (and more). Got there about 30 mins before start and got our seats.. the tables were tightly packed (3 tables) but were nicely set up. There were volunteers/staff who were doing the prep work in the kitchen so we just waited/took pictures/walked around the store. At about 6:45pm (15 minutes after official start time) did someone actually say something. Till then it just felt like everyone was scrambling. We were given water and the staff and chef were introduced. The chef walked us through the recipes - printout was on each seat and gave us some direction on how to proceed. Somehow the water they served us was a little muddy (pipe burst), so the staff quickly got us bottled water and gave us wine to compensate for the inconvenience (they actually refilled the wine a couple of times - more than average). When we got into the kitchen, everyone seemed to have forgotten their instructions. We had a "group of 6" who kind of were all over the place. Groups were assigned dishes to prepare and switch through stations, but due to the "group of 6," we were stuck with cake duty and mediocre prep by the "group of 6." All through the experience, people were trying to get more direction, the recipe instructions were good but still required some more direction. The staff was confused and kept running to the chef for everything. 2 hours in, all the food ready. There were a few people cooking steak (kind of disorganized again), but I was "whatever" at that point. The staff served us the food, and refilled our wine again. I have to say the food looked great but my bacon (bacon covered steak) was undercooked. Overall, I had high expectations but I was underwhelmed. I wouldn't do it again. Hopefully in the other classes they provide better direction and navigate groups effectively. The chef was great, and staff super helpful. The recipes were fantastic but the foexperience suffered. BTW our menu was: raw oysters, bacon covered steak with bernaise sauce, asparagus, pimento potatoes and decadent chocolate cake.

Yelp
I wrote a review regarding your hours on Sunday...... I could not figure out how to respond to your review response so I am just writing another review. The guilty culprit is YELP! They have your close time at 8pm.... not 6 pm so sorry!
google avatar

Ed T.

Yelp
This may be petty but I looked up the closing time and it says 8pm... went to Cooks and in fact it closes at 6pm. I arrived there at 7pm. Would you be pissed? I was!!!

Yelp
Not only is this store convenient they Always have what I am looking for. Great staff. It is so refreshing to be helped by people who are experienced with their products. This company hires top knotch employees. It must start at the top. Kudos to a small business owner who is willing to persevere within the cluster of corporate giants!

Yelp
Great selection of products from your "basic" to specialty items and equipment, very knowledgeable and helpful employees, and don't pass an opportunity to take a class here. Great instructors and very fun, not to mention you learn more than you think you would.

Yelp
Take a cooking class! I took a group of 12 here for simply Vietnamese with Chef Nancy. Our chef was outstanding. Cooks will also do a few extra special things if you have a big group. - wine before on the patio at a nominal extra cost - 10% discount for shopping - let your group dine together This is a great interactive event- can't say enough good things about them!

Yelp
Clearly The Cook's Warehouse is a sabateur partner of Amazon with their egregious and unethical practice to take advantage of AMAZON customers! They are not only disrespectful to customers but clearly DO NOT VALUE customers! The shipping box a Breville waffle maker was sent in was torn and completely unusable at delivery. Oh does your customer get to charge you that the original shipping box is unusable? The Breville waffle maker was in its original Breville box, brand new and unused. It was too heavy and big to use regularly or to store. UPS put it in a new shipping box. Please correct this travesty! No way did it cost you 1/2 the cost of a $200+ item to warrant keeping $100+ of a customer's money for a return! This is Christmas time and most ALL retailers value customers' business these difficult past couple of years. Never would I buy anything from "The Cook's Warehouse". BUYERS BEWARE if shopping on AMAZON or directly with the company based out of Atlanta GA!

Yelp
Very helpful staff. They made great suggestions. Well stocked so you can find all items for your cooking and baking needs. The knife selection is over the top!

Yelp
Had my bday party here and we had a BLAST! The space is phenomenal BUT the staff is absolutely superb! They help you out at every turn and interact as much/as little as you wish. Joe, Danielle, Sabrina...thanks for making this party amazing!

Yelp
The staff are being safe by wearing masks. The store is short on staff members which makes it hard to ask questions and find things. There seems to be no real management if you run into an issue with purchase. Possibly due to COVID-19.

Yelp
The vibe and the customer service here is off!!! The products are great!!! The only reason I came back was to return an item... I will not be back!

Yelp
Ever watch... well, ANY show on food network in which the chef used some strange gadget or other. Ever wonder where they get those strange "garlic rollers", "ravioli bed molds" or "julianne peeler thingies"? HERE is where you can find all those special little doo-dads you need for specialized cooking and baking. Don't worry, even if you don't know the name of that "fondant spreader knife thingamjig", the fabulous team of staff is there (and more than happy) to help! As soon as you walk in, somebody will approach you with a smile and a "can I help you find anything specific?" They are knowledgeable of their stock (that includes the wine) and wonderfully helpful when you need something but you just don't know what. I highly recommend, if you get the chance, to take one of their cooking classes. They are not cheap (they run about $45-$80 per class), BUT most of them are hands-on, so YOU get to make the food after the chef instructs. So, not only do you get a full meal (and wine!), but you get to work with some highly-esteemed chefs in the Atlanta area. (Disclaimer: be prepared to devote a whole evening to a class- many go from 6:30-9:30 pm, but there are weekend classes as well.) Larger than it's local counterparts, this particular location can accommodate bigger classes and will give you a little more elbow room. You'll just have to get past the horribly yellow walls.

Yelp
Ahhhhh, I love this place. You can find just about any kitchen gadget in here. From onion goggles to ceramic pots or dishes, they have it all. Me, I choose to go here to smoke life in the kitchen easy! The cutlery section- always well stocked with a variety of tools the make your day smoother. They even have a knife sharpening service! At the Ansley location, you can drop your knives Monday or Wednesday by the close of business and pick them up the next day. Check each store for details or visit cookswarehouse.com What is also outstanding is their cooking classes. Although I have not attended yet, it is on my list for 2017. There are pay based classes/workshops and you get to choose the chef and types or style of cooking for your convenience. I'm targeting the "One Sommelier, six wines (9601) but I am currently on the wait list . So be it pasta, veggies, cheeses, sautés or wines this is the place to go! I mean, what Yelper who likes to comment and dine on the finer places has not a skill in the kitchen?? Come, learn and invite your friends and most of all keep your knives sharpened!

Yelp
Holy moly! This place is heaven for anyone who likes to spend any amount of time in the kitchen! Like the good, money-conscious shopper I am (...sometimes...) I walked into Cook's Warehouse knowing exactly what I needed and told myself that would be the only thing I would walk out of the store with. An angel food cake pan. I opened the door to the small-ish shop to find my perfect kitchen. Everything I could ever need to cook anything. They had at least 10 different versions of those little saucers that you see TV chefs pulling their "pinch" of salt from. I want those. No, I NEED those. Aisle after aisle of baking pans, knives, cute aprons, cutting boards, pots and pans, etc. Of course, the real kicker is the stuff on the wall- the lemon zester! The melon baller! The silicon baster brush! The shellfish cleaners! I need one of each! Before I got too deep in convincing myself I need these things, a very knowledgeable-looking employee asked me if I needed help finding anything. Oh yeah. The angel food cake pan. She showed me right to where they were and we discussed the different sizes, and what would be most appropriate for my need. I heard other employees around asking if they could help anyone find anything- great customer service! They also have a really amazing teach-in kitchen in the back, where I now really want to take classes. At the employee's recommendation, try to take classes where you get to do stuff and not watch a chef do things! All the employees were so cheery, I couldn't believe it. If I was surrounded by all that awesomeness, I guess I would be happy too. Except I would spend my entire paycheck there. I wonder if employees get discounts...hmmm....

Yelp
had terrific service here yesterday in looking for help with a gnocchi paddle and a pasta attachment for my KitchenAid. this place is super convenient for those quick stop-ins for last-minute items. definitely on the pricey side comparatively, but still glad they're here.

Yelp
Two weeks ago I would have given five stars, as my only class ever taken at Cook's Warehouse was a few years ago at the old Decatur location and I thought it was the most fun experience and the recipes given to us were top-notch. The brownie recipe in particular was outstanding, and the professional baker who taught us owned her own bakery in Roswell was great - I felt like we'd been given a gift with her bestowing her brownie recipe upon us. It's that good. I've kept the print-out of that recipe safe and sound and made those brownies for friends and family, always lauding the baker who shared it with me. Again, it's that good. Then I made them for some friends last week and I gave one to my Mom. I told her the recipe, how it required a little extra work but it's so worth it. She went home and Googled the ingredients and found the recipe online... It is Nigella Lawson's recipe. Here's why I'm now reviewing and giving two stars: I have no clue if the people who organize the cooking and baking classes care if their instructors plagiarize other chef's recipes. They likely take the instructor at their word, or they probably don't care at all. But I care. Because when I spend $70 or $100 for a class my expectation is that I'm not getting something I can't just get on YouTube or FoodNetwork.com for free. And passing off someone's copywrited material as your own is so dishonest and really awful behavior. I just discovered this now and yes, the Decatur location is closed and time has passed but it's still important to make others aware that this is something that likely still takes place. The store itself is great, you will be able to get every cooking utensil you've ever wanted there, and even things you didn't know you needed. But double check on whether you're getting something through a class that you can't just get online for free.

Yelp
"Who died and made you Julia Child? You haven't touched a spatula in ten years." -- Beverly Hills, 90210: Season 2, Episode 18 I am not allowed in here without supervision...do you hear me? Now, if you want to find me a gift, odds are this is the place to shop. But be prepared to spend (and probably check out my kitchen first to find out what I need). This place is my Eden, my Mecca, my Heaven if such a place exists. My toy store - a place to get lost and play for hours. The staff is friendly and if you know what you want or need - they will take you right to it and help you pick between models. If you don't know what you need, the crack staff can help you decide and won't steer you towards something pricier just because it's more money. Trust me. I'm here every week to pick up my Garnish & Gather meals (shameless plug), and I walk and and out and know not to let my eyes stray or else I will spend. I work hard to do my research before walking in the door, but occasionally I buy something that is on my wish list (I really shouldn't do that), but usually they are shiny and call my name. They have fabulous classes as well - I've only done a couple and I am determined to do more next year! My favorite was Chef Kevin Gillespie's demo for his new cookbook Pure Pork Awesomeness... nothing but awesome. There is a reason I am the Duchess - they get a piece of me every paycheck.

Yelp
My husband's the cook in the family, so initially I was overwhelmed by all the cool stuff filling the shelves at Cook's Warehouse. I'm not sure if I had the requisite "deer in the headlights" look, but it wasn't long at all before one of the friendly staff members came over to assist me. She showed me where the whisks were hanging, and then pointed out the pepper grinders. When I had some additional questions about which grinder to purchase, she called over Jessica, who provided her expertise and helped me decide to splurge on the Peugeot. Lifetime warranty! (We use a lot of fresh ground pepper in our home.) Cook's Warehouse is conveniently located in Ansley Mall near the Publix, with plenty of free parking. Quality goods cost money, but you'll also find many reasonably priced items along with a clearance shelf for bargain buys.

Yelp
This review is for the knife skills class that I attended in March. Having worked in my church kitchen through high school, watched countless hours, and considered culinary school if I quit my day job, I thought it was time to take an official knife skills class. Turns out I already knew more than I gave myself credit for. The class started at 6:30 in the demonstration space of the Ansley Mall store. There were 2 tables set up with 8 seats each, with utensils, plates, glasses, water pitchers, and some hummus with crackers. We talked and introduced ourselves as the other participants arrived, and I save 2 seats for Tanya and Rachel to join me. I was there early, and I wasn't watching the clock just yet, so I'm not sure what time we actually got started. A volunteer introduced himself and explained all the hand outs that we had a the table. The Chef introduced herself, and explained that this was more of a talking class, with all the demo and doing after presentation of the material. The hand out had plenty of information about the different parts of the knives, different types of knives, and different materials. Chef pretty much talked/read through all this information. They had pretty much every kind of knife available for the group to try out once we actually got started. We split into the two islands, and then into smaller groups to work on deboning a chicken. With the chicken, they made stock and cooked the chicken for chicken salad. While the volunteers collected and cooked, we practiced on corn, onions, peppers, tomatoes, garlic, strawberries, oranges, and herbs. As I mentioned, most of this was what I'd already heard or seen from my previous culinary experiences, other than the deboning of the chicken. I would've appreciated more technique critique by the Chef and/or the volunteers, but considering others were in more need of attention, I didn't mind. At least I got to try out a large selection of chef and paring knives, and even a few bread knives. My main complaint is that we didn't eat until 9pm (other than the hummus). Not sure if this is always the case with their classes, but if I'd known, I would've eaten before I went! We had the chicken salad that we'd deboned the chicken for, the tomato salad, the corn salad, and strawberry shortcake (for which we'd cut the strawberries). It was all A-OK food, but not really to my preference. I also would've appreciated actual recipes, as we all just kind of tossed chopped vegetables into the bowls based on verbal agreement at the table. I'm looking forward to using the discount coupon I received on one of those fancy knives!

Yelp
Terrible customer service! Just tried to return an item I had purchased under the 30 day limit with its original receipt and they refused to allow me to exchange it because it had been used. How else am I supposed to know if it's the right piece of equipment for me unless I use it? Completely terrible customer service and absolutely no return policy whatsoever

Yelp
The Cook's Warehouse falls into that current middle ground of small business retail - they have great, unique stuff that I can always find cheaper online. I want to support them, but nothing they have is unique enough that I can't find it elsewhere. I love the store, I love everything about it. It's a wealth of new gadgets and new things to cook with. This review is not about the products in the store. It is expressly about the classes offered by the store. The products are awesome. I've been holding off on this review as I've wanted to give my thoughts some time to percolate. The base recommendation - don't take any of their classes that aren't "hands on". If it's a class that you have to sit and watch? Not worth the time or money. I signed up for the Big Green Egg course they offered because it promised to "walk you through the basics as you learn to properly use and maintain your Egg". The class description also mentions recipes. Unfortunately I'd guess that the class ended up being about 33% Egg tutorial and 66% how to prepare the dishes that they were cooking. The latter I can glean from food network TV shows. I don't need to spend 20 minutes learning how to spatchcock a chicken in a class that's supposed to be green egg centered. It ended up being more about grilling in general. So - beyond the inaccurate class description is the general environment set aside for the hands off classes. 25 grown adults crammed into tiny chairs around two tables. It was not comfortable and not conducive to learning.

Yelp
I threw a corporate event at Cooks Warehouse last night. The experience was outstanding. The staff helped us create an "Iron Chef" competition. This review is aimed at someone considering something similar. I rented out the whole kitchen and brought 12 people. This wasn't one of their normal group class offerings. It was a private event. First, we had a gluten allergy in the group. This really prohibits the food selection, but, the chef choose a perfect meal and I don't think anyone noticed. The head chef was amazing. She played the role of a great host: engaging, witty, charismatic... with food network caliber culinary skills! The rest of the staff (volunteers) were also top notch and enhanced the experience. The food we created and ate was spectacular, but, this isn't the real story. They sold an experience. This was a team-building exercise where we worked together on a common task. They helped facilitate this goal. Everyone had a great time and learned a lot about their coworkers. Everyone's feedback was positive. I have only one downside: the price. I payed roughly $110 a person. This was at the high-end... we took advantage of most of their offerings. The staff will work with you. I could have cut the appetizers and other extras... maybe brought the price down to $80 or $90 a person. I had a 10 person minimum. Not cheap. As a corporate team-building exercise, this is hard to beat. It makes bonding with a group of people with different lifestyles fun. I will most likely throw another event here.

Yelp
I wish I could afford to shop here without a 50%-off Scoutmob code, because the service and the merchandise are totally worth the prices. I was assisted by an expert whose name I failed to notice (shame on me) as I browsed for half an hour. Ultimately, I settled on a superlative sink-spanning colander, not vulnerable to the crud accumulation of its Swedish cousin from IKEA, a loaf pan that looks the right size for sandwich-baggie-sized sandwiches, and two stylish and slender 1-quart glass pitchers perfect for making iced tea with my IngenuiTEA. (And they're squarish, so two different teas can sit in the refrigerator door without taking up too much space.) Even after throwing in four Zyliss fridge magnet-clips, my total after tax and discount was under $30. Gotta love that discount code, especially when I shudder thinking of the original price. The Midtown location is in Ansley Mall, so if you're a queer foodie, this is probably pick-up central. And if you're not queer... well, it never hurts to window-shop! Note on accessibility: there's a ramp from the parking lot that snakes up to the level of the store. It's not easy to see if you're directly in front of the store.

Yelp
Cooks Warehouse is for me what porn stores are for most men. It's small and crowded but completely filled to ceiling with the most awesome cooking equipment I covet. Oh, and the selection of Le Creuset - drool worthy. Plus, they almost always have something I want in my color (red, for those looking for gift ideas ; ). I love their stock of Wusthof, as well. This is my go-to place for the odd kitchen tool. I think it's way more helpful than Williams Sonoma (maybe even more so than Sur La Table, if only because it's closer to me). I've found pastry bags, the large tip I needed for cream puffs (thanks to the excellently helpful staff), honing steels, prep bowls of every size, a french press and so many other awesome odd kitchen things you can't find just anywhere (ok, the list above you can find most places but you can't beat this place for quality of selection). I wold love to take a cooking class here if I could ever fit it into my schedule. As it is, I'll be content to squeeze in among the racks and shelves and dream of all the wonderful concoctions Cooks Warehouse will help me create.

Yelp
Thought for sure I'd already reviewed this place. Have been twice: once for a gluten free event at the old location and the second time at the new location. They have everything; kind of the Ace Hardware of cooking stuff. María wanted a new stand mixer since Maggie (one of the younger girls) whacked the one she used to have. The Boy did the research (something of interest to him as the one she wanted had lots of attachments and mechanical aspects and he gets to take apart the old one) and fed me the name (not rank) and serial number. Toddling over to TCW, I handed the info to the guy at the front desk. At first, there was a quizzical look, then the 'eureka' moment then the search and securing of the right box - we got the ice cream making attachment as well. Happy wife, happy kiddies, lighter wallet. Why not 5 stars? I went while they were still unpacking so it was kind of a wreck, organization-wise. I'm sure they'll get it all figured out by the next time I go.

Yelp
This store has a great selection of products, but I also find that the customer service is exceptional. As an example, I recently purchased an juicer on heavy clearance "final sale." When I got the juicer home and unpackaged it there was a defect (nothing obvious or that could have been identified without a complete unboxing and assembly of the product). The manufacturer (a brand that is now no longer being sold by the store) was a bit difficult to work with and refused to correct the issue under the warranty. I got in touch with Paul, a store manager at the Piedmont location, who was very helpful and willing to assist with the issue. He arranged to have me receive a Novis Vita, a significantly more expensive new model juicer as a replacement to the one I had purchased on clearance, at no additional charge. Since the original model I purchased was a different type of juicer (masticating vs. centrifugal juicer) he also offered very candid and honest comparison of pros and cons over the phone to help me determine whether the new model met my needs. When I went to the store to do the exchange, Paul was not there but had made sure the people working shifts when he was not around were aware of the situation to avoid any hassle. I arrived a few minutes past closing when the store was being locked up (completely my fault as I had the hours of operation wrong), and while I simply was planning to return the next day, the Assistant Store Manager Devin saw the juicer I was carrying and told me I was welcome to come in to complete the exchange. She even spent several minutes discussing the new juicer with me, making sure I was aware of some of the functions it had rather than rushing the process (which would have been entirely reasonable under the circumstances). Overall, my experience which could have been a significant hassle proved to be a relatively easy process. Also, while I certainly appreciate the effort both Paul and Devin spent helping me, based on my past experiences with Cook's Warehouse I would say that this level of customer service quality tends to be the rule rather than an exception. Needless to say, I highly recommend the store for anyone in the market for an addition to their cooking collection.

Yelp
I took a cooking class at Cook's Warehouse and within hours of the class fell ill and haven't had the opportunity to sleep all night. So unfortunate. While the staff is extremely nice and helpful, I do think they should encourage sanitation and food safety a lot more than they did during our class.

Yelp
Need a really obscure or hard to find kitchen gadget? The odds are good that The Cook's Warehouse has three different versions of it. Moreover, they'll be able to tell you how to use it and whether or not you really need it. The knife selection here is pretty awesome, and the staff can give you a walk-through of all the options and styles to choose from. Getting to test the weight and feel of a slew of knives in quick succession really helps you determine what you're going to be comfortable with. I've only taken once cooking class here, but the single experience I had was good and I would recommend it. The bonus: you get ten per cent off regular priced items you purchase from the store during or after your class.

Yelp
I really don't know where to begin. I've already started this review over three times. There are so many wonderful things about Cook's Warehouse. Not only do they carry everything a cook needs, and doesn't even know they need (like baking liners for Panettone!), but this location is the flagship store and has the largest kitchen for classes and chef demonstrations. The staff is top notch and the chefs that teach classes are incredible. It's a credit to Mary Moore that she is able to recognize local talents while also being able to draw big name celebrity chefs. Classes range from your basic-101-don't-cut-yourself-or-set-the-kitchen-on-fire to classes that focus on a certain region, cuisine or even local restaurant! They have a chef's assistant program where you can volunteer to assist classes and attend them for free while building up credits to take other free classes. And I have acquired and incredible amount of knowledge from just being around all these talented people. The only downside to this location really is that they are not partnered with Sherlock's Wine Merchants so you still have to go to another location to pick up the wine you need for the dinner you were making that made you realize you were missing the citrus zester (or insert other cooking tool here( that you need to make the meal perfect. But, Ansley Wine Merchants is right around the corner so it's not so bad after all.

Yelp
This past Friday, Ray and I attended the Grand Opening of Cook's Warehouse new location at Ansley Mall! Ironic that it was a cafeteria and now it's a cooks delight! If you can think of the gadget, they've got it! From spreaders to knives, to aprons and even kitchen design, the store has got great kitchen stuff! As a Condo dweller, I've learned to minimize so I buckled my wallet into my pants pocket...there were so many temptations! But the space is great, and I saw lots of great housewarming gifts for my clients! The Grand Opening was also a fund raiser for a great cause, For The Kid In All Of Us! The had all sorts of great items that were raffled off! Of course, I didn't win, but hey...it's all for the cause! Check out Cook's Warehouse and their new location at Ansley Mall! You'll be sure to find something you have to have for your kitchen!

Yelp
This place is pretty cool and definitely packed with all the goodies a cook could want....as for me, I'm still more of an amateur. If you check it out, they also offer lots of cool classes (sometimes with some famous local and/or Food Network chefs!) and private classes as well. I took their Knife Skills 101 class. The assistants who help are super nice. The Chef was definitely an entertaining teacher, I just...have major doubts. Why? Two reasons: (1) The tasting afterwards, which was stir-fry, was not good. (2) While she was teaching, she made some ridiculous claims that some people are going to go through their lives thinking are true. All in all, I don't really feel like it was worth the 65 bucks, but I did learn a few things. But...I'll be taking it with a grain of salt.

Yelp
Love! Love! Love The Cook's Warehouse. I had been lurking around their website for a long time, trying to figure out if a cooking class was right for me. I rarely cook because cooking for 1 can be really difficult, but I thought it'd be good to learn some simple knife skills & potentially cooking basics. Last night I attended Knife Skills 101 and the class was absolutely fantastic! Megan, the chef, was super friendly, had an awesome personality & was by far the most down to earth person I have ever met. Although it just closed for the season, Megan is the Atlanta Botanical Garden's Edible Garden Chef. All of the classes that Megan teaches are focused around healthy cooking which is right up my alley! I'm always looking for ways to incorporate more veggies and healthy items into my diet! So, back to the class! We went over knife safety, how to properly hold your knife and the proper position of your hand while cutting. We also learned the basic knife cuts such as large, medium and small dice, julienne, brunoise, fine julienne and fine brunoise. At the end of the class, we used most, if not all of our veggies to put into our stir fry. At the end of the class, Megan walked around with us & helped us shop. She even helped me pick out a really cool cutting board. Honestly, I was impressed! I'll definitely take another cooking class from The Cook's Warehouse!

Yelp
If you are someone who loves to cook, or like me - would like to ENHANCE your curret skills :) this is a great place to visit. I attended a cooking class and was very pleased with the chef (Gena Berry), assistants and recipes! There are a variety of classes available and they go out of their way to make sure you get a good handle on the steps for the recipes. The store itself has all kinds of gadgets for the kitchen - most i knew nothing about - but the staff was very knowledgeable. The costs of the classes vary but average $60ish, but it's well worth it. Happy Cooking!

Yelp
I'm with Juan on not believing that a review of CW wasn't already in my repertoire, but alas it was not so here goes... I didn't think I could love Cooks Warehouse more than I already did - great stock, can order if they don't have it, fun, informative classes and knowledgeable sales people. The new location is even better, with more room for classes and a less overall cramped feeling. Probably the only thing I don't like about CW is the restraint I have to place on myself because of the pricetag that accompanies most items, but that's really my problem, not theirs and for that I give them 5 stars. If they could combine the baking/candy-making supply store in Tucker I have to go to with this I would be set!

Yelp
I really like Cook's Warehouse. The store has everything a home cook wants, and even some things you didn't know you needed. I can't give more than 3 stars though because I rarely shop there. The staff are always extremely helpful, but there's not much I can't find online to have shipped to my house cheaper. For impulse buys, or if you simply can't wait, this is a nice place for a home cook to spend a few bucks. From knives to pans, and even cake decorating supplies, Cook's Warehouse offers it all. While they have a lot of things, they don't necessarily have several choices for those many things. Again, here is where the online experience trumps brick and mortar. That said, I really love the place and do like to shop there once in a while, mostly after I've received a gift card to the shop.

Yelp
Has lots of good stuff, but pretty spendy. Back in the day when this was a little shop in the Amsterdam outlets (or whatever they were called) it was great and the owner was super helpful. Now it feels too big for it's own good and I'm always torn between going there or William and Sonoma if I need some high end cookery.

Yelp
My 15 year old daughter loves to bake. Christmas shopping for her can be difficult since I am not that knowledgeable about baking. With the staff's help, I able to find some very unique gifts for my daughter. The staff listened well and was very knowledgeable. Gloria took the time to explain the on-line ordering for an item that was not available in store. It was refreshing to have this level of customer service.

Yelp
Welcome to my paradise. Kitchen supplies galore. I'm like a kid in a candy store here. A garlic peeler? OK I'll take one. An apple slicer? OK fine. Oh bonus -- a nice candle. I'll take that, too. Get ready to rumble if you're a cooking fanatic like me. I gave you fair warning!

Yelp
This is a fun store with lots of fun stuff. I usually go here with a purpose - if I just go to wander and browse, I end up leaving with too many things. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I like that they offer me coffee. Truly, I will spend a lot more time browsing if I have some coffee. I have generally been pleased with my success at finding what I need although there have been the few occasional items which I have not found. The "side" room in this store has some fun cookware and appliances; if you are ever looking for a new stovetop espresso maker (like the Bialetti Moka) or replacement parts for one, chances are they have it here.

Yelp
Like a kid in a candy store, dat is the only way I can describe the Cooks Warehouse. I love this place. I volunteer here as a cooking assistant to the chefs, so if you take a class or two here you're bound to see me here, or at the Brookhaven or Decatur location. The classes are fun and entertaining and you get to try so many new dishes. The store is also heaven, name any kitchen gadget, I guarantee you they've got it. Stop by sometime and maybe we'll run into each other.

Yelp
Intent for visit: browse (with no intent to purchase) a paring knife. End: purchase of Wusthof Classic 3.5" Paring Knife (for a price lower than anywhere I researched; see below). Pleasantly surprised at my experience. Given its location, I expected (1) pretentious sales associates and (2) exorbitant prices. Colin behind the knives counter proved me wrong on both assumptions. (1) Colin was beyond courteous -- she was friendly. She entertained my nerdy questions about steel and shape and origins. I had a good idea of what I wanted, but she showed me higher-end and lower-end knives for comparison. She inquired about my intended use for a paring knife, gave me her thorough opinion rife with sound reasoning, and did not push any specific product (even cautioning me against the more expensive model). And all this knowledge without an ounce of arrogance that I often find at high-end marketplaces. She wasn't a "salesperson" in the used-car context; she was an expert ensuring that her knowledge imparted value in peoples' lives. Respect. (2) Here's the icing on the cake: pricepoint matched amazon.com's. This blew my mind. Given its location, I expected the price to be higher than brick-and-mortar retail, and definitely higher than amazon.com. Wrong. The exact same as amazon.com, as well as the current sales price of macys.com (i.e. Cook's Warehouse would have been cheaper than macys.com had macys.com not been coincidentally hosting a one-day sale). And the cherry on top of the entire experience: I PAID LESS THAN AMAZON.COM's PRICE. Cook's Warehouse offers an industry discount, which ultimately brought my purchase price LOWER THAN ANYWHERE I RESEARCHED. I'm now a lifetime customer. Thanks, Colin. PS: an endorsement from Alton Brown doesn't hurt either.
