Yeah, had a nice half slab of The Ribs... Pretty good I must say. I would suggest the full slab for a few dollars more. A 3 meat on bone half left me wanting more. The wife had a great chicken salad plate. Rico! Go ahead and get your BBQ on at the Cook Shack. Nice food, nice vibes, nice place 😊

Ambiance: Fun quick bite & to go spot in Spring with a western meets industrial/modern vibe perfect for a quick lunch, weekend family/friend dinner spot, or ordering takeout! Fast and friendly service. Pretty affordable pricing, I really the chicken bites - good deal and filling! They have a nice patio seating area. Multiple table/dining options including booths. Bar area as well! Parking onsite. We were a bit confused when ordering drinks. We wanted to order our food and then sit at the bar to order a round or two of drinks. We were told we had to order drinks at the cash register - which just made the entire drink situation a bit difficult because we couldn't tell what beers/wines were available. Besides that, we enjoyed The Cookshack and will go back!

Came here to try it out for the first time on 7/12/2025 and it was pretty good 😊 the sweet potato fries were amazing good flavor nice texture a decent crunch very good and the chicken sandwich was also a 👍🏽 the size for what you get was on point I got the medium hot and it did have a little kick not where you couldn’t enjoy it but enough to know “this sandwich got some heat” 🤣 now the only gripe I have with the chicken sandwich is that the breading didn’t stay together as you eat it, it was falling off so not sure if that’s all the chicken sandwiches or just mine but still a decent sandwich and we got a beer and margarita we dined outside the outside and inside along with the restroom look to be very clean so no complaints there customer service was also pretty good. I definitely wanna come back to this place and try some more stuff on the menu. They also have a rib sandwich that I heard was pretty good so that will be my next thing to get, but I will say if you’re in this area come give him a try.

Horrible. We used to go all the time and we used to love to go. Until about last week me and my sister ordered take out we got two orders of the mac and cheese bowl with chicken. While my sister was already done eating i started to eat and minutes later saw my CHICKEN WAS RAW!!!!!!!!!! I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED EATING AND TOOK IT BACK. All the worker said was "so sorry we can give you a refund" WHAT THE HECK!!!! Meaning my sister's CHICKEN WAS PROBABLY RAW TOO!!!!!!. Not even days later she had to miss work and couldn't keep anything down. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN. SO CARELESS.

The food at The Cook Shack was absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served hot. Everything was so good, it got eaten as fast as it hit the table! Definitely coming back for more.

Wow, this place really surprised me. I went at prime lunchtime, and there was a line, and i couldn't believe how fast it went and how fast i got my food. (Fast, friendly service) it was like all the employees owned the place. Great place, and i haven't even gotten to the food yet! Chicken tenders were the perfect blend of spicy and crispy, and they even had gravy as a dipping sauce choice. This is definitely a place you should try or keep going back to.

The manager was absolutely phenomenal 👏 our first time here and I didn't like the shake shack salad or the amount of sweet potato fries we received with my husbands meal. I offered to pay for a different one and she said this one is on me! I was also disappointed by the amount of sweet potato fries and wanted to order more and she also offered to give us more! She was very sweet and came to check on us. She was the definition of great customer service! We will definitely be back as this is now a safe place for me to eat with all my health issues. If you are considering going here JUST DO IT! I'd go back just because of the exceptional service even if I didn't like the food. Also the sweet potato fries are OUT OF THIS WORLD! No place can match this one as far as I'm concerned. We will definitely be back! Oh and the lemonade tasted like real lemons!! So good!

I really loved the atmosphere and the service was top quality! I just wasn't as pleased with the food. My family all raved about it so I guess it's just me but I found the sweet potato fries to be soggy and cold, the coleslaw had a weird flavor that tasted like cough syrup and the breading on the chicken tenders were extremely salty. Like I said, it just wasn't my preference but the rest of my family disagreed.
