Where to Eat Wings in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"With a prime downtown location and four more on the outskirts of the city, Corner Pub is the ultimate sports and wings destination. Order between six and 48 bone-in or boneless wings, choose if you want them fried or grilled, and pick from nearly a dozen flavors to dress them up, like Carolina Gold or Peach Bourbon. Each order comes with two dipping sauces. Place an order for pickup or delivery." - Bailee Mulder

Corner Pub Green Hills Faces Backlash Over Social Media Posts Attributed to Owner - Eater Nashville

"Corner Pub Green Hills was embroiled in controversy after racist and anti-LGBT tweets by owner Jeremy Palmer surfaced, leading to the dissolution of a business partnership and the closure of the pub. The tweets were interpreted as encouraging violence against protesters, leading to public backlash and the closure of the Nations location by co-owner Jeff Estepp. Palmer later apologized for his remarks." - Delia Jo Ramsey

13 Best Places to Eat Meatballs in Nashville

"Those who weren't lucky enough to grow up with a magical Italian grandma still probably have fond memories of meatballs in tomato sauce. Krisi’s at The Original Corner Pub scratches that itch. For as long as many can remember, the menu has touted their “97-year-old family recipe.” Delightfully, that number never changes, and neither do their meatballs. Smothered in sauce and served with Texas toast, they are a very good version of the kind your very non-Italian mom made." - Ashley Brantley

Good atmosphere, great food, and their whiskey selection is nothing to sneeze at! Bar wasn't overly loud for a Nashville Wednesday night and service was quick to provide food menus and get our drinks in. The fried pickles were great and stayed crunchy, served with a horseradish sauce, but went better with their ranch... The bartender provided both with the pickles, so see what you like! Warning, their burgers are BIG! Were talking a half pound patty, plus all the extras. Their Porker had plenty of pulled pork on top with cheese nicely melted. Even their plain cheeseburger was exceptional. Their wings smelt amazing, sitting next to someone who ordered some... That'll be for next time! Their onion rings are on the heavier side, so weren't my preference, but if you like a good amount of breading, these are for you. Parking is tight, but that can't really be helped much.

Corner Pub Green Hills is a very nice pub. The service is always on point. Jeremy the owner is extremely friendly, as well as his daughter Emily who works here too. The chicken tenders & fry basket is always delicious! Often times you’ll even run into a Tennessee Titans player or country music singer. Cheers!

Food was good! Server was also great, but it was after the service when things went downhill. I went to the bathroom, and about 3 minutes after I sat down, some guy came in and let out an audible gasp and stood by the stall. I assumed he was waiting, but then proceeded to say to me over the wall, “flush if you’re gonna use more toilet paper, bud”. I was already weirded out by this encounter, but he ended up walking out right next to me (waited for me to finish) and yelled across the store at an employee to get a plunger and it was gonna be bad (mind you there was no reason) in front of all of the customers. I don’t know if he was a manager or owner, but this encounter made me really uncomfortable and it crossed some boundaries. I don’t like having people tell me how to use a bathroom…. at a bar…. where I’m eating the establishments food. I never leave bad reviews but this was a horrible taste to leave in my mouth. edit: just as expected and shown in other comments, the owner has shifted blame onto the customer. i know how to use a toilet and i know very well it wasn’t clogged when i left. I also work in the restaurant industry as a bartender and manager and I know that if I interacted with a customer like that, my butt would be fired on the spot, so I think I have a reason to be shocked. thanks for overwhelmingly rude response, you are such a professional and i hope your business flourishes. wishing the best to you and your employees. PS. I don’t like starbucks :)

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had — and I feel compelled to share, especially for those expecting a decent local spot in Green Hills. First of all, no one ever answers the phone properly — it’s nearly impossible to get helpful information in advance. For a small local sports bar, you’d expect at least decent service and some sense of hospitality. But sadly, the staff could barely manage a greeting, let alone good service. The overall service was a zero. Our server, Emily, was extremely rude and inappropriate. At one point, she aggressively threw a plate of food into the trash can right in front of me, then slammed the trash lid shut so forcefully that our entire group was visibly shocked. I was there only because friends had invited me — I would never return on my own. Apart from the awful service and a meal that was just okay at best, the place was visibly dirty. Large bathroom cockroaches could be seen from multiple areas, which made the whole experience worse. Just because it’s in Green Hills, don’t expect the quality to match the location. This place is only suitable if you’re planning to sit, drink cheap beer, and get drunk enough to not notice what you’re eating or where you are. Small, tacky, and lacking class. I regret accepting my friends’ invitation. Maybe they had a better experience with a different server — but what I saw was unacceptable and I won’t be returning.

The deep fried cheese beans (curds) were delicious. Not a huge selection of draft beer, but solid. Fun pub vibe. Loud.

Tater Tots and fried pickles were great, wings were ok! Good place to have a beer and watch sports.

Google
Okay, best nachos ever!! We got the pulled pork nachos & they were fully loaded & delicious. Menu has so many options. Not a lot of local beers which we were hoping to check out since we are from out of town. Drinks are very affordable. Atmosphere was really fun for a sports bar. Staff was attentive. Definitely recommend!!

Google
Cool little dive bar on a corner. The reason for the three stars is because the food I ordered wasn't all that great. I got a buffalo chicken wrap and some fries. The chicken was a bit rubbery and hard to chew and the fries came out luke warm at best. Granted I could have said something to the bartender but decoded not to. The place is cool though. Nice decor, tables to sit at, tvs all around and cool music playing. Price is reasonable and they have a good selection of beer on tap and liquor. If I'm in the area I would go again, allegedly the chicken wings are pretty damn good. So Gingie is about 50/50 on the level of whiskey worthiness. Another visit will tell. So for now, check them out, its a cool dive bar and the staff are pretty cool too.

Yelp
Great food. Friendly waiter with a nice smile. Local atmosphere - everyone was enjoying themselves. Couples, families and friends out for a nice lunch

Yelp
Do you ever get a bill at a restaurant and are shocked at the price? This is what happened to me at Corner Pub! I ordered 2 drinks and two apps and this price was so low I thought it had to be a mistake! To my surprise, it was correct! This was a great spot for watching football and hanging out! I would highly reccomend for a chill outing!

Yelp
Disappointing. Visited for the 3rd time today. First time burger was good because it was cooked just right (medium rare). Ordered onion rings and they were just bad. Tasted like they came from a frozen bag. Went back several weeks later in the afternoon, only 2 other people there, ordered medium rare burger with fries. Fries were excellent, but this time the burger was grayish in color, tepid, and well done. Appears it was left over from the noon rush. Returned today, mid-day, burger medium rare with fries. Fries, once again, were great, burger was fresh this time, but WELL DONE. Don't order unsweet iced tea unless you like saccharine as your sweetener. They do not carry Splenda nor Equal. That's kinda cheap. The interior is in bad need of a facelift. Service was good, considering. She had so many tables, she was running around in circles, but did swing by a couple of times for refills. Giving 2 stars vs. one because the fries are good and the server was busting her buttocks, but obviously overwhelmed. If they could get the burger right again, it would be one of the better burgers in town. Another Yelp review referenced the owners responses on Google reviews. He doesn't appear to respond to many reviews here, but given his attitude on Google, I don't expect anything to change, so I'm done. On the many negative reviews on Google, no accountability, no responsibility. Not a single apology. Only low class, smart a** shots at the person leaving the review. 'nough said......

Yelp
In response to the owner's response on 2/15/24, I did not remove my Google review. Stop posting fiction Lol. The rum wasn't 151, it was crappy white rum, and on your Google response, you wrote that the bushwhacker was $9, not $10. Sounds like you're the one who needs help with math, genius. See the receipt I posted. The truth is that you run a really crappy dive bar with crappy food and unhappy staff, that succumbs to numerous complaints, yet you refuse to accept any criticism for it. No wonder your bar is tanking. Stop ripping people off. Also, I'm happy to share your nasty response to my original review....

Yelp
Watched a UT vs UGA football game here a couple years ago. Great environment. Great menu options. Plenty of TVs. Drink prices low compared to other bars in the area. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a unique sports bar to watch the game or a quick bite to eat. Only issue I had was the limited seating options. If you're not there early, odds are you're standing.

Yelp
This place was empty on a Sunday at noon? You're better off going to Crow's Nest, Joe's Place, Double Dogs, Jonathan's, or watching on your mobile phone. Just Google it's history and you'll find out all of it is true. The best part of the experience was the water.

Yelp
I stopped in for an early happy hour recently while killing time before a movie at the nearby Regal. My first time here and I dug it. Clean and modern, divey without being dirty. I sat at the bar and my bartender was great! She checked on me just the right amount and anticipated when I'd want my next round. Low lit but with windows full of outside light, different games on every TV, and great music played the entire time I was here. Also, lots of free parking options! I didn't get a chance to try the food but it looked good and those around the room seemed to be enjoying theirs. I see a lot of alarming reviews left recently and can't speak to them as they definitely don't reflect my experience. Looks like most came from the same party and are the only reviews some of these folks have every yelped. If someone who works here actually "laid hands" on a customer I hope they called the police and if this is fabricated I hope the business can get those comments removed.

Yelp
My family of four came in for dinner but our one son with Autism only eats pizza. We usually bring a pizza wherever we go, so that we can enjoy our dinner out. We always approach the staff and explain this and never have any issues. We sat ourselves at a table as the "seat yourself" sign suggested. We were approached by a young male who curtly stated that we couldn't bring in outside food. My husband explained the situation but it fell on deaf, unsympathetic ears. The male staff member tried to cover his tracks by stating, "I'm not trying to be an a**hole..." This covered nothing and the profanity was not condoned or appreciated. He then said that he guessed it would be ok. At that point, we just decided to leave and definitely never return to a place that treats teens with disabilities with zero respect.

Yelp
Food was incredible so it makes me sad to leave this review. In the 30 minutes we were there we saw 3 roaches running around the floor. It would be a one star except the food was so dang good and good service. Hopefully the owner addresses this, after seeing the 3rd one I wasn't hungry anymore!

Yelp
Service was good and hostess was attentive to a large group. Food was good bar food and had a variety of choices. Would return if in the area again.

Yelp
Great local place. I've had burgers all over Nashville and the one here is easily top 3. Great bourbon selection at decent prices. Great place to catch a game.

Shannon P.

Yelp
Smoking Mondays are Spectacular! Wings, ribs, and who knew bologna could be so good?! Also, the meatballs are great...better than typical fried bar food, better choices than most sports bars.

Jackson H.

Yelp
Very mid. Some of the worst cheese bites I've ever had. Nothing special. I'd recommend Sam's place if you want good food. This place is only good for drinking.

Yelp
Beware of the cheesesteak. My partner had it yesterday and she hasn't been the same since. Once we got home around 2:00pm Saturday things went from bad to worse, as her already fair skin went to ghost. She had to stay sitting up because her esophagus was burping up steak. I felt so sad and helpless as she layed in dismay of what was happening. This takes us to the next morning, yep you guessed it loose stool. She said she was feeling a little better so she decided to go to the grocery store but while at the store she took her time because if she walked to fast a SURPRISE would slip. It took her two hours at the store because she was scared of a slip. We then went out a bit because she thought she got through most and no we had to run into a tennis center so she could use the commode (thanks for showing us LOVE no pun intended). With all of this being said beware of the cheesesteak. Ps this was also her birthday lunch :/

Yelp
So many people rave about this place but I'm not sure I can agree. I stopped by on a Friday night and it was pretty crowded. There are a few parking spots in a side lot. We lucked out and found a spot there but I'm not sure where I'd park if all those places were taken. We sat ourselves when we came in and lucked out again with the last empty booth in the back corner. Even with being pushed to the back corner, the place was so loud that it was hard to carry on a conversation with the person sitting right next to me. Our waitress was quick and friendly so that's a plus. I tried the meatball quesadilla since it seemed like one of the more unique menu items and it was denoted as a favorite. It was good but nothing amazing. It was pretty messy to eat which shouldn't be the case with a quesadilla. It also was not very photogenic so no foodie picture this time :(

Yelp
It was my first (and last) time visiting the original location. The food was average bar food, we had chicken skewers, a burger and onion rings. Our server, Stephanie, was the worst I've had in recent memory. I've worked many years in the service industry and tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the server, not possible in this situation. Tables around us with a different server received their food 20 minutes before us, although we came in sooner and placed our order sooner. She stayed inside, while we were seated outside. She didn't offer more drinks, check on us, nothing. We were done eating and sitting with empty plates and glasses for 15 minutes before I took it upon myself to go find her and request our tab. I found her sitting on a bar stool at the end of the bar on her phone. Please don't "work" in the service industry if you have zero desire to provide service.

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Had Abby as a waitress tonight and the service was beyond what I expected. She was so kind and friendly. We came in on "Smokin Monday", so we got the smoked chicken quesadilla and the smoked sirloin platter. Both were so good and it sucked hearing it was the last smokin Monday for the year. We will for sure be coming back to try out other things on the menu though. 6/5 stars!

Yelp
It kills us to give a one star review. As a couple, it's always a stop for us in Nashville. We love the pub atmosphere, decent food, and lots of food. And before me, it was my partner's go to place when he lived in Nashville. After Friday, I'm not sure we will be back. We stopped in for lunch. Service was not great (our server disappeared we had to ask someone else for our bill who we also had to pay so we could get on the road. Two other folks came in after us, ordered after us, and left before us because they got someone else as their server). Asked for a coke. Got diet twice. Food going down was so so. Not terrible but not even decent. We both made the comment that it was not as good as normal. We got cheese beans (usually devour them), along with a Cuban and French dip (both are favorites at almost any place we go). That night my partner got food poisoning. He said it tasted off with the pork and ham but thought it was just from having coffee before we headed to Corner Pub. The Cuban was the only thing we ate different all day. He was so sick all night and on our road trip all day Saturday. Sad to say the service was terrible (and we are both over accommodating and understanding typically being in the service business ourselves) but the food was worse. It has pretty much ruined Cubans for him at this point.

Pam D.

Yelp
Visiting from Reno, NV. Decided to try it waiting for something to open. Sat outside at a table for 30 minutes and were invisible, no service at all! Three different servers acknowledged everyone else but not us. A reason not to return!

Margaret S.

Yelp
Owner was highly aggressive and rude. Laid hands on all of my friends and wrapped them around my friend's neck. I highly recommend everyone avoid this establishment. It is not safe.
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
Solid basic bar with solid basic bar food. Nothing great, but certainly nothing awful either. A few salads, lots of deep fried foods and burgers. Very basic beer list, and they only have one cider listed. Parking is not good, but it's right on Hillsboro in Green Hills so I guess what do you expect, right? Service is kind and quick. They have an outdoor patio which is the best part of the place! I'll of course be back when the occasion calls for it, but it's not my first choice.
google avatar

Logan R.

Yelp
Do not go here!!!! The burger was flavorless as well. And the onion rings are gross. They were also extremely rude to my friend. Took an hour for him to get his food and kept giving excuses. Everyone else sat and ate in front of him and he stayed patient. Only 4 of us were left. Owner was a complete jerk and cursed us all out and was rude when my friend simply commented that the burger took an hour. Beer was wrong for my other friend. Two of us didn't even eat because the manager or owner threw a little baby fit and kicked us all out. We were not rowdy or rude. He simply mentioned that it took a very long time for the food order.

Yelp
I used to love this place so much. I spent so many weekends watching football on the side porch and drinking with friends but sadly, I don't think I'll ever be returning again. Over the past couple of years the staff have gotten worse and worse. They ignore their tables (even when it's not busy) and when you can finally get them to bring you a drink they act very rude about it, as if you've interrupted them, or totally confused like they have no idea what a vodka soda is. Speaking of confusion the last 7/10 times we were there all of us had items on our tabs that we had not ordered. Everytime they act put out when we noticed extra food or drinks on our tabs. This last time, the waitress acted defensive and even said she didn't even know what she could possibly do about it. I guess she ended up finding some help because after half an hour it was corrected. Sorry, but I'm not gonna pay for someone else's fried mushrooms if they didn't even bother to come find me and share. And no, I'm not paying for random mich ultra's none of us had either. I'm guessing the confusion might be from the shots they drink while on the job. They don't even try to hide it. They never have tried to hide it and I used to not care, but now that they can't even do their job without major problems, maybe stop letting your employees get blasted during the day. Anyway, I'm sad to say it, but after 20yrs I am finally done with this place. There's plenty of other local spots for our group to spend money at.

Dominic S.

Yelp
First off, I am in the area and have been to this spot several times. It's a very casual, sports bar with decent priced drinks. However, my most recent experience was extremely below par, even for them. My server was extremely rude- did not greet, did not ask, gave my table bottled water (and charged us) instead of normal waters, and had an extremely poor demeanor. Everyone has a bad day, but this was inexcusable for the entire 60 minutes we were there. My food (the porker) came out cold and dry. My gf ordered a double shot of tequila and it was WATERED DOWN. I've never seen a bar with the audacity to do that. In addition, the prices on the menu were NOT what they charged. (Eg the porker was listed for $12 but rang up for $14. same with the quesadilla). I paid $80 (20% tip) for my gf and I and it was not worth it. I will likely never return here for food and suggest you stay away. For a casual pint during a game or quick drink at the bar, it's fine and worth 3/5 stars. I'm disappointed and saddened- especially since I took 2 of our friends here for their first time. I also feel like I wasted EIGHTY DOLLARS on a dinner, which could've been spent literally anywhere else for a better experience. I hope management from Corner Pub reaches out to help resolve this matter and improve in the future.

Yelp
Good original Nashville spot for pub food. Good friendly service. Nice people. Sincerely need to work on their hamburgers though. Dense, dry, overcooked. Twice in two visits. Back to the drawing board on the burger, folks. Had a Buffalo chicken sandwich last trip. Great ! Bountiful! Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Pick up your burger game and you'll have me as a regular.

K M.

Yelp
If you want to be treated like crap from rude servers and owners/managers, this is your place! Came here while in town to have a sit down meal and watch football and got nothing but a rude server who acted like we were bothering her for anything and wanted to flirt and watch tv. The manager or owner was even worse. Don't waste your money or time.
google avatar

Pam L.

Yelp
This place has a great neighborhood vibe, and locals were greeting each other. Definitely has a regular following. Plenty of TV screens and they've made an effort so that you can see a TV no matter where you sit. It was difficult to hear the game because people were talking (but it was great to enjoy such energy). It felt more like a bar that airs sports than a SPORTS bar. Most people didn't appear to be following the game, and not a jersey in sight. We still will go back. Service was very prompt and friendly. We didn't eat anything, but want to return for "Meatball Monday." They had a lot of weekly specials. As far as Covid goes- the wait-staff were wearing masks, but very few customers. We felt distant enough, but a little uncomfortable. We were happy for the breeze from outside.

Yelp
I was really blown away by both the great food and service at The Corner Pub. We started out with fried pickles, the saltiness of which paired very well with the tangy horseradish and cooling ranch dips on the side. For my entree, I ordered the giant half-pound cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. The burger was served on a soft, fresh-baked bun. The pickles served on the burger came with a surprisingly spicy kick, while the tomato slices were red and juicy. The chopped lettuce became soggy and intertwined with the melty American cheese -- I will definitely forgo the lettuce if I order the burger again (definitely a possibility). The beef itself was cooked well and the patty was considerably larger than I expected. Overall, it was a very delicious burger. The onion rings (although I wasn't thrilled about the $2.50 up charge) were delicious. I have high standards when it comes to these fried rings of goodness -- I can tell the difference between handmade and frozen. These were definitely the former. The breading was great as well -- crispy and flavorful without too much oily aftertaste and residue. Our waitress was attentive and very personable despite the packed house. The ambience is very dive-y (a-okay in my books). It was loud, but that comes with the territory. The menu is expansive and diverse...all the more reason to come back. But the burger and onion rings were so good, trying something new may be a struggle.

Yelp
Love the outdoor seating and old tavern everything on the inside bar. Great beer on tap and friendly staff. Was so good came back two days in a row.....when stalled out of work for the day on nearby job site.

Michael H.

Yelp
Incredibly rude and hateful management. I had unsatisfactory beverages on two different occasions. They neither apologized or offered to give me a replacement; they just walked off. After I gave them an unfavorable review they insulted me in front of my friend, in the restaurant, and told me to leave. This was totally, totally unprovoked. This is discrimination. I am a Vietnam veteran.
google avatar

TJ B.

Yelp
This place is for anyone who just wants a drink and something edible to chow on while you drink and talk with friends. Do not go here expecting to eat food because it'll disappoint. The atmosphere is exactly what they advertise, a corner pub. You go here for drinks and food you'll forget about. I made the mistake of coming here hungry and tried the nachos and you can tell by the pictures how appetizing they are. I couldn't finish the food unfortunately not because I was full, but because I couldn't force myself to eat it anymore. I see why people come to this place and I should've known it wasn't for the food. A true shame.
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
Undercooked food and terrible service Made me pay for something I returned and did not eat. When I spoke up after being disrespected the owner told me to leave and suggested I take a bath while he was sitting there having a drink at the bar Terrible people terrible place terrible food That was my first and last time ever stepping foot into this establishment Other corner pubs aren't that bad This one on the other hand SUCKS
google avatar

Brad W.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink and some apps and this is what I found out. Long list of bourbons (which was great). The bourbon drink I ordered was good with the appropriate amount of bourbon. The SERVICE SUCKED! So bad we only had one drink and left. Server was uninterested and rude.
google avatar

Yelp
Yes, it is just a pub but it provides super solid service, atmosphere, and some of the best pub style food you'll find. Last night, I had the French dip and it was one of the best versions of the sandwich I have ever had. The bread was soft and fresh while the meat was SO tender, flavorful and not too salty. The Au Jus was a perfect accompaniment, but honestly the meat was quality on the sandwich you didn't need anything else. Opted for the sweet potato fries and they were crisped to perfection. The prices and value here can't be beat. Bartenders are always friendly and quick to serve you. Solid place!

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great food. I am from out of town and every time I come to Nashville I make it a point to stop by The Original Corner Pub. Coldest beer in town and great food. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great low-key bar with a friendly atmosphere. Wish I could rate it better than 5 stars!

Yelp
Had appointment nearby, so stopped in to eat. Positives were fast service and spicy chicken was tasty. Negatives were burrito, dark interior and rude waitress after she got tip. Went to restroom, came right back out, she'd cleared table and threw away my mask. When I asked she clearly had a chip on her shoulder about masking and was so rude. Understand how it's easy to not realize I was still inside, but being so unapologetic and rude was the problem.

Jake D.

Yelp
Come here if you like rude servers, slow service, and mediocre food. The waitress ignored us from the moment we sat down and asked that the sticky table be wiped down, which she appeared to take offense to. I had to go to the bar to get my own water after asking 2x and waiting for 20 minutes. I wouldn't step foot in there if you're unvaccinated--not a mask in sight. I gave 2 stars over 1 star because the cheese bings and sausage plate were not bad. Wings were over cooked and they were stingy with the dipping sauces.
google avatar

Yelp
As a medical professional, I value professionalism wherever I go. Actually I expect it. Now I have held off of leaving reviews because in the heat of the moment people say things that they probably wouldn't say. I was a visitor on one of the nice the majority protests (minority riots) was occurring. Talk about awkward! I walked in and heard the word "animals" right off the bat. Not realizing what the heck was going on inside the place, I kept walking in. Normally I sit at the bar. A place I can relax and plan the upcoming week or evaluate the current or past week. But as I approached the bar I noticed that just about every TV was on the protests. (Sadly certain individuals feel the need to riot. A small percentage of the people protesting were the rioters). Because it was an EF Hutton moment where everyone stops and stares at you, I faked sitting at the bar and walked over to the one TV that had sports still on it till I could figure out what the hell was going on. I felt a shit load of hate and sizzling eyeballs coming my way. Was I Antifa? Was I pimping BLM gear and protesting? Man I came for a couple of brews to unwind. There were Very angry people working there that night. Extremely uncomfortable!!!! And Yes Jeremy you remember me. You were there. The encourager in chief I took it. Letting things cool off I decided to venture back into the bar about a 4 weeks later. I sat at the end of the bar closest to the door. Walked in with a mask, proudly. Jeremy you sat very end of the bar near the bar entrance. I had that very uncomfortable awareness that you were staring at me the entire time I was there. Highly uncomfortable!!!! Notice I did not engage your unprofessionalism. Laughably I ordered food and ordered a couple of beers. And before I threw up because the golf male group next to me were talking about locking Hillary up still. I paid my tab, tipped well as always, and left. Jeremy I never knew that your establishment was the one that had the rampant racist unprofessional issues. I thought it was the Nations location that closed because of that mental behavior. But apparently the owner or co-owner of that location wanted no association with the Green Hills locale. Now I understand the uncomfortable situation I felt the recent times I have patrionaged your location. Highly disappointed. I truly feel for the open minded staff that worked there during the Anger Phase or the ones that have not left. That had to be or has to be excruciating for them.

Yelp
So we sat outside on the porch and it was a gorgeous night. I wouldn't have been able to handle the smoke smell in the main part of the pub. Food was pretty good and the waitress was very attentive and kept bringing whatever we needed quickly and efficiently. I wouldn't mind going again as long as I could sit outside.

Yelp
Reminds me of the good ole days in Nashville. Cheese Bings & Gus' style steamed hoagies like the strip in Knoxville. Smokin Monday's ribs are one of a kind.

Yelp
Atmosphere was good for a sports bar, food was average as was the service. Server was nice but not very accommodating, the only time they came by was to take my order and bring me my check. They were not that busy. Drink was good and the food service was quick.

Yelp
A friend invited me to watch the Titans game with them here. They said "they're doing everything right. You'll love this place." We got there before kickoff to get a good table. Form the start, I noticed no tables were removed or marked as unavailable. I thought "maybe this is ok as long as this place doesn't get too busy." By the end of the 1st quarter (around 12:45 pm) the place started filling up. Every table was starting to be occupied. Groups of maskless people were trolling around the place looking for a table. 2 things that have to change: 1. Remove tables like every other restaurant in town and limit to 50% capacity (per Nashville's Phase 3 guidelines. 2. Require customers to wear masks when they enter and walk around the restaurant. Yeah there was a sign, but nobody was enforcing it. I told my friend I would send them some money for my share of the wings and the 2 Coors lights I had and dipped out before I was exposed any more to the potentially dangerous situation. Their wings are fabulous, but I will not go to this place ever again. The worst part is someone will read this and get confirmation that this is exactly the place they are looking for. So enjoy a cold beer and toast your buddies to celebrate your contribution to Tennessee's rising COVID-19 statistics!

Yelp
Don't let the online menu deceive you - the food coming out of this kitchen does not resemble the website photos at all. I came here looking for a great plate of nachos and instead received stale chips with the bare bones: diced tomato, soggy peppers, lettuce and hunks of a grilled chicken breast. The black bean burger fell apart in my hands and was piled high with additional black beans on top of the patty. The catfish platter my partner ordered was overdone and similar to eating a hush puppy. The only redeeming part of the meal was the side of sweet potato fries. I didn't order a drink but they appeared to be fairly priced. However, I will not be returning for food.

Yelp
I stopped in here on a business trip to Nashville, and was hoping to see music at the Bluebird Cafe.... couldn't get in, as it was sold out....Noticed that this bar/restaurant was open, and there were quite a few people there. Well it was a great find, and to me, this place is a hidden gem!

Yelp
Best bar food you'll find in Nashville! Wonderful staff and family owned business. Do yourself a favor and get the cheese beans and sliders. Wash it down with a Daddy-o on tap and you'll be back! Also smokin Monday's is a must!

Yelp
When I first moved to the area in August of 2016, Corner Pub was clearly the best bar in Green Hills. During the week while the other bars in the neighborhood were completely empty, this place was always busy. One thing that also stood out was the staff. They were all very friendly and learned my name almost immediately. It was nice to be recognized and greeted every time I visited. Lastly, the food was (and still is) quite good. However, as time went on I learned some disturbing things about this place. Most have to do with the clientele. I have been told by numerous women that Corner Pub is "full of creepy old men" and they refuse to go here unless it's with a large group. I have personally witnessed women leave the bar in frustration after immediately being swarmed by 3-5 old men. Even worse is the behavior of some of the regulars with the female waitstaff. Without going into specifics, I've witnessed very inappropriate physical contact on numerous occasions, which is ignored by the owners who spend a lot of time here and have no doubt seen it themselves. I suspect that this is the main cause of the rapid turnover here. I still go here but not nearly as much as I used to. For a place that was once my "go to", it's now at the bottom of my list.

Yelp
Corner Pub's Green Hills location is the original, and I think still the best, though there is a definite difference in the crowd. This location brings in more "regulars". It's a lot smaller too, but has a pretty kickin' deck. As far as food goes, it's pretty standard bar fare. I do like the grilled buffalo skewers though--I feel like it's at least a tad healthier than chicken wings! Also, the hot turkey and cheese sandwich is one of my favorites. There isn't any live music at this location, but it's a fun neighborhood place to watch sports, or sit on the patio and have a beer. Parking is pretty horrendous though--watch for signs at nearby businesses where you might be towed!
