Best Restaurant Dishes Eater NY Editors Ate This Week, July 21, 2025 | Eater NY

"A minimalist dessert spot serving sliced Harry’s Berries on ice — "naked!" — accompanied by a lightly salted vanilla bean Chantilly cream with a lemon cookie crumble. Like lobster, the berries are sold at market price (expect around $15, though it may vary day to day)." - Emma Orlow

The Toughest Reservations In NYC Right Now (And How To Get Them) - New York - The Infatuation

"Verdict: How do you feel about clubstaurants? The Corner Store, from the Catch team, isn’t quite one, but there’s definitely some shared DNA. At this flashy American restaurant in Soho, you can sit in a big booth, drink a pornstar martini, and eat fancy bite-size pizza rolls brought to you by a server in an oversized suit. Even if the food is surprisingly good, it's not worth waiting in line for a table. The Corner Store releases reservations online two weeks in advance at 10am. They do not accept walk-ins for tables, and we learned this the hard way. There is, however, a 13-seat bar near the entrance where you can try to claim a seat. It tends to be packed by 6pm." - bryan kim

Where To See & Be Seen In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"It’s only been open since 2024, but The Corner Store has already lived several lives. When it debuted, the Soho restaurant from the people behind Catch was a pleasant surprise, serving American food that was better than it needed to be. Next, it became the go-to spot for attention-hungry A-listers. Now, it’s a free-for-all with a line down the block and a clientele that ranges from reality TV villain to tourist who just saw Aladdin on Broadway. The Most Fun Dinner Spots In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"Where can you eat a pizza roll while you stare at someone who got pretty far on The Bachelor? The Corner Store in Soho. This nostalgic American restaurant is acutely sceney and slightly cheesy, but if you’re looking for fries, martinis, and people-watching, it’s a great time. Try to snag a table in the back dining room, and order the steak frites. The Corner Store releases reservations online two weeks in advance at 10am. Best Restaurants in Soho, NYC | Eater NY

"The corner location at the northern gateway to Soho was once a franchise Mexican restaurant. Now the menu features raw fish treatments as appetizers, a French dip with wagyu beef, and a whole lobster for two, tricked out with sauces and repositioned in its shell for easy eating. The room is mirrored and handsome. It can be tough to get into and it’s often a scene, as it comes from Catch Hospitality, plus partner and (the new) Italian ambassador, Tilman Fertitta. Taylor Swift has been known to visit, too." - Melissa McCart
