The Cotley Inn

I can sense the atmosphere when walking into a pub and I can honestly say that it was extremely calming and pleasant. We had a shared platter for Sunday lunch which I highly recommend. 3 meats and all the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The service was lovely with mild cheekiness which I love and nothing was too much trouble. I could sense that all the staff enjoyed working there and worked well together as a team. Well done to the chef, waiters, waitresses and management. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much.

Had an excellent stay and meal here whilst visiting family, and have since bought some of the bedding online - it’s that cosy. Lovely touches throughout: from the welcome, to the Dyson fan, large TVS, and “guest pantry” that meets all your needs and more. A really lovely independent / Inn twist on the Pig Hotels. Had a very similar feel throughout. Excellent food, welcoming staff. We will be back for sure.

Hidden away down charming country lanes The Cotley is delightful from the warmth of the welcome, the beautiful accommodation and superb food. Our stay in The Den was perfect - comfy bed, ENORMOUS towels and milk delivered to your door step in the morning - wonderful, and the food and wine in the restaurant coupled with the candle lit atmosphere made our stay all too short - we will be back - thanks Ben, Maddie and Dina.

Really lovely family stop-off for one night, on our way down to Cornwall. Everything was faultless - delicious dinner, gorgeous comfy room and lovely breakfast. Couldn’t have been more looked after by everyone. My kids loved feeding the pigs! We’ll definitely be back - thank you

The room we stayed in was a good size and well decorated. The piece of cake given as a welcome gift was really appreciated and tasted fantastic. We really liked the free pantry for guests where you could taste maybe treats that you hadn't had for years with various juices and ice cream. The shower was really powerful and hot, something you don't always get. It was nice to relax on the sofa with my dog whilst my husband was out at a meeting, it felt comforting and safe. The slight downside was the continental breakfast as this was not the same standard as the meal I had, had in the evening with its lovely flavours. That said I would really recommend it.

I have eaten there in the past and it was very good, although expensive. This visit I just had a pint of Otter Black Stout. Delicious. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Nice surroundings. Good walking from there as well

Me and my wife come for the first time tonight. Lovely place and friendly staff. The food was amazing and the staff are knowledgeable about the dishes to help you out and decide. Great all round experience. The location is lovely just right narrow lanes to drive down to get there. Would definitely recommend and go back

We so enjoyed our brief stay at The Cotley Inn! We really appreciated the special touches of a lunch hamper, availability of snacks, and flexibility about meals. Ben and Maddie were very friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and relaxing. We really hope we can go back when we can stay longer!

Excellent food and real ale from the cask. Log fire adds to the atmosphere. Friendly staff.
