The Cottage - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Live music is back at this all-day cafe and bar in Bothell. Grab a cocktail and a seat on the expansive, covered patio (there’s also limited indoor seating available) and hang out with a gin and tonic and great daily happy hour food specials. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

My friends and I came here for brunch on a sunny day. I made a reservation in advance and we were seated at a spacious table without any issues. The vibe here is local and cozy while a little bit noisy is durable, however, the food is not my type. I ordered the mushroom toast with ham and eggs. The portion was generous and the presentation was appealing, but the dish felt quite heavy for brunch. The mushrooms were quite a lot, which is good, but the bread is totally soaked into the oil, so the plate was a bit too oily for my taste. My friends ordered other dishes like the beef short rib hash and French toast. While they were all beautifully plated and satisfying in portion, most of them leaned heavily on rich and oily flavors. The beef short rib hash is quite oily. The French toast came with fresh berries and looked great, but was very sweet and dense, because they use croissant. The server was kind and welcoming. I appreciated that she checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well, though I would’ve preferred a bit more space without frequent interruptions during our conversation. Overall, the food is photogenic and filling, and the service is attentive. But the dishes here are definitely on the heavier side — if you’re looking for something lighter or more balanced, this might not be the best fit.

We went to this restaurant for Sunday brunch. The place was pretty busy, but we were still seated quickly and didn’t have to wait too long for our food. The servers were friendly, professional, and took good care of us. Even though it was crowded, the service was fast and smooth. The food was tasty and fresh. Everything we ordered came out well-prepared and nicely presented. It’s a cozy spot with a nice atmosphere, perfect for a weekend brunch. There’s free parking available just across the street at the City Hall parking garage, which made it really easy to visit. We had a great experience and would definitely come back

Google
Replying to restaurant's response. I rated the food a 3 because, while it was enjoyable, I didn’t find anything particularly outstanding. I’ve had pasta elsewhere that I personally preferred and felt there might be some room for improvement, though taste is, of course, subjective. The fries were simple and as expected. That being said, I absolutely loved the cider, and the service and ambiance were wonderful. I truly appreciate the great hospitality! Their hot cider was my favorite. Rest pasta, fries, hummus was good too.

We visited The Cottage in Bothell for brunch and had a pretty solid experience. We ordered the Original Melt sandwich, the Brioche French Toast with bananas and pecans, and a cold brew topped with chocolate ganache. The food was rich, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The melt came with a refreshing tomato bisque soup that paired perfectly with the sandwich. The ambience was cozy and relaxed—nothing too fancy, but comfortable for a weekend brunch. Our servers were polite, though they seemed a bit tired, and the energy felt a little low (not many smiles going around). Still, it’s a nice spot with a great brunch menu and plenty of parking, which is always a bonus in Bothell. Would definitely come back to try a few more items!

Google
Rude staff. Maybe they prefer a certain kind of people. People that came after us were served first. I had to ask for a waiting person. Food took way too long to arrive. Interaction with the hostess was a bit curt. Place felt a bit snobbish or snooty. I thought Seattle was pretty left leaning hence welcoming or at least posing to be welcoming but this place felt neither. But, oh well! Food: carrots were a bit stale and cold. Fries were average. I checked other reviews while waiting for the food and found out I’m not the only one that feels this. First and last visit here.

Google
My wife has been to this place many times mostly for brunch. This visit we came for happy hour and dinner. My wife loves the ambience and wanted to take me here. We came for a special occasion and loved the food and drinks. We had a great time.

Google
The restaurant was nice. I split a cheese board with the people I went with and got the Prohibition Caesar Salad and a peach sangria. I added chicken to the salad. Unfortunately the chicken was not very flavorful, but the salad was good.

First time here - ord'd shrimp, grits, & poached eggs ... DELISH! Everything cooked perfectly (will hv enough left over for bfst tomorrow). Employees very friendly, efficient, & knowledgeable. The atmosphere is wonderfully charming! Menu looks so good, can't wait to go back again! (A little more expensive, but well worth it.) 👍👍

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to eat! I can't express how great the food is as well as the atmosphere. Girls' night out! Date night, I'm in! The service is also excellent!

Yelp
The food was great. Parking was good. (Got lucky and found a great spot across the street!) Wait time was good. (Was super busy, brunch!) Super cute and comfy setting. Sat outside with heat lamps and was supplied wicked comfy blanket!

Yelp
We had a delicious brunch and great service. Loved the fireplace. It was only about 1/3 full, and still the noise level was so bad we couldn't hear each other at a table for 2. I would love to give them 5 stars, but can't because of the noise level. Very interesting brunch menu. I had a hard time picking. I ended up with the mushroom toast and it was fabulous! Great flavors, very complex. My friend had the Turkish eggs and reported it delicious. Very nice almond milk latte. I'd love to go back, but the noise level might keep me away.
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
I tried the Scotch eggs and the Turkish eggs. Both pretty tasty dishes. If you're an eggs Benedict fan, the Scotch eggs will do you just fine. Forgot to mention, if you're on a keto journey, this place rocks.

Yelp
I was organizing a brunch for my book club and having the WORST time finding a place north of Seattle that would accommodate the diverse dietary needs of our group (some are gluten-free and one who is vegan). The Cottage was the PERFECT place with the perfect menu to satisfy everyone without compromise. The servers were very professional and friendly, going out of their way to take photos of us. The patio was so cute and cozy. The food, the mimosas, and hand crafted espresso beverages were all divine! I wish I took more photos, but we were too busy living our best lives and being in the moment. The reason why I didn't leave 5 stars was because 2 of us asked for bacon extra crispy, and neither order of bacon was particularly crisp. And I also didn't love their voicemail message informing that they don't answer their phone or listen to voicemail. They are only reachable by email and the email wasn't particularly easy to find on the website. That's the only criticism I could give. We had an amazing experience and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
We received a thoughtful email from the owner Miss Madison, inviting us back for breakfast. It would appear as though the service they use for reservations may have malfunctioned.. We look forward to visiting again soon, thank you Madison. ***We arrived on Sunday morning a little after ten. The woman at the door took our number and told us we would receive a text in 30-35 minutes.. Pretty disappointed we never heard from them***

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and I would say the vibe of this place is really cute. It's bright and definitely has a farmhouse/cottage vibe. The only thing missing is mare the real early hours for that morning cottage rise vibe. In terms of food, I thought it was a little over salted but overall pretty good. I think for the price and what you get it's a little expensive. I wouldn't say anything wowed me though. The servers were kind and attentive and I appreciated that they were swift to check on us when we needed something.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is always a hit! Whether it's a girls brunch on the patio with mimosas or a casual coffee with a friend, I always look forward to spending a morning at the Cottage. The service here is wonderful. They are really friendly and always greet customers with a smile. I will say, I usually do double check with them that they got down my order as gluten free/dairy free/whatever substitution because I've had them forget a few times. But otherwise lovely! My friends rave about the quiche! I am gluten free so I love getting the gluten free bagel with lox with eggs on the side. The shrimp and grits is another fave. They have lovely breakfast cocktails alone with a non alcoholic hibiscus tea that I order frequently. Great vibes and a lovely atmosphere!

Yelp
Several months ago we took a trip to Seattle Washington and decided to stay in a city called Bothell, Wa which is about 35 minutes outside Seattle. Didn't know anything about the city however we were hungry and decided to ask the front desk at the hotel for recommendations to eat. We ended up at a mom and pop restaurant called the Cottage. We ended up waiting 35 minutes to get a table. The place is small but quaint yet very busy especially during lunch. I decided to ask what the restaurant is known for the waitress recommended French toast and shrimp and grits. The food came out supper fast while being cooked to order. I have never in my life tasted French toast like this and immediately fell in love with it. The shrimp and grits were also to die for. This was one of the best surprise restaurants you ever want to run into. Forgot to mention the hot chocolate was absolutely out of this world. If you are in the Seattle area it's well worth it to locate this restaurant as you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I came here for brunch and it was a cute spot with nice brunch options. I think it's a decent place that's easy to get to with easy parking and decent food options, nice for groups!

Yelp
Back again! Breakfast with the boo. Scotch egg was fantastic. I finally got to sit in the cozy corner with the lounge chairs, so nice. The service was great, always checking on us. I also love the little gift ideas up front!

Yelp
First outing here at The Cottage. Came here for Brunch with the Family today. Nice, cozy spot for a Sunday Afternoon Brunch. The Ambiance was a little loud, but it was expected since it was relatively packed and it is a Sunday. Service was wonderful and relatively swift for a busy day. Coffee was fast and meals quickly followed up. Pacific Lox & Bagel were delicious and very filling. And the Pacific Smoked Salmon Dip was a delicious follow-up after the main course. And the Mocha was solid. Can't wait to come back for future outings, but may want to do so on a day that is less busy.

Yelp
Our second visit will keep us coming back, as did the first. We found a street parking spot right out front on Halloween. The holiday had them doing all night happy hour, so we got burrata with plum that was delicious. I ordered a plum margarita and my partner got a butterscotch old fashioned that wasn't particularly butterscotch flavored but still solid. The service was good. The pesto was really light and delicious. The flatbread was nicely cooked and the flavors all went well together. We'll look forward to our next stop in.

Yelp
Your experience at The Cottage will highly depend on the time you visit. I went for weekend brunch with my boyfriend and thought it was great! The food was good, the coffee was good, and the service was excellent. However, dinner was a different story. I came here on a Friday night to catch up with some girlfriends, and the restaurant was LOUD. We could not hear each other at all, even though we were in a relatively "quiet" corner. There was a live artist playing music and talking ACROSS the restaurant to other diners, which I found odd. Personally, I would not want to be disturbed by someone with a mic while trying to enjoy a meal with friends.

Yelp
A cute place for brunch and they have pretty much a full bar here with tons of different alcohol selections. But I ordered an Americano since it was just something I needed at that moment. This place was so busy for lunch but that does tell you one thing, this place is going to be good! Ordered a Caesar salad, short rib hash, and a bowl of soup. Not one item was not delicious and the service here was great! I got asked many times if I needed anything else and they filled my water cup often. The soup I don't know what the ingredients were inside but I seriously thought about the taste and how great it was with the side of bread. Short rib hash was tasty and I love how the hasbrown was crispy and just so good! Yum!

Yelp
What a cute place! The outdoor tent is very cozy and clean, and dog friendly. We took our small dog with us and we saw about 5 other dogs there. They were all well behaved. The servers very friendly and accommodating too. We ordered French toast and BLT sandwiches. The French toast was actually made from croissant. It was delicious and different. The BLT was only mediocre. The bacon was too fatty and the fries had a lack of taste. The aioli dip made it better. We found the price a bit steep for the food. But we loved the ambiance and atmosphere.

Yelp
Such a cute spot for brunch! Came here with a group of friends after a hike and since we had 2 pups with us, we needed to find a spot that was dog friendly with an outdoor patio. Love the Cottage outdoor patio area! It's covered, heated, and doggo friendly! They event brought over a water bowl which was so nice! Service was friendly and we were seated promptly. Although food did take awhile, because I think our order was lost but they were really nice and so it wasn't too big of a deal. + Chai tea - tasty and comforting in the cold weather + house sausage is soo yummy! Ordered a side with my entree and it was so worth! + croissant french toast with berries - my husband loved this so much! + eggs in yogurt sauce with bread - nicely flavored and is pretty good! Overall, we had a great time here and would come back again for their brunch! Food was solid!

Yelp
We visited for Sunday Brunch and had a reservation. I recommend doing so because there was a line outside the door before opening and the restaurant was filled within about 15mins. I got the eggs benedict and he got the quiche. The benedict was perfectly done. The eggs were runny and the hollandaise was bright and flavorful. We also enjoyed some beverages. I got the London Fog and he got the chai. The London Fog was excruciatingly HOT. I know hot water obviously needs to be used to brew the tea but the drink was undrinkable for a good 20mins before it finally started to cool down. The service was incredible! Very attentive servers and the ambiance inside was cozy.

Yelp
I've been to the cottage for dinner before, but this was my first brunch! I was kind of surprised that a place serving brunch doesn't have a drip coffee? So we went with the vanilla latte and a pumpkin spice latte (tis the season!). Both were good! Food came out insanely fast after ordering, I think we maybe waited 5 minutes? Which was great. I had the vegan scramble, and I wish I would have asked for extra mushroom gravy because it was excellent. I could've done without the toast, since there wasn't much gravy it was kind of hard and meh. The croissant French toast was good! It was pretty loud inside, so next time I think we'd sit outside.

Yelp
Tip : Make reservations (Note: there is $15 no show fee while reserving) If not, you may have to wait. Ambience 2/5 - A laid-back brunch spot. We had our table by the front door. The floor was strangely vibrating or trembling every thirty minutes. Food (4/5) Coffee (3/5) - Latte was okay. Probably ought to have requested extra hot. Turkish Eggs (4/5) - Flavorful and fresh. Simple savory breakfast with perfectly poached eggs, served over a delicious garlicky yogurt, and finished with a warm spicy butter or olive oil sauce with red pepper flakes. Lemon cheesecake (2/5) - There was very little lemon flavor and an overwhelming amount of cheery syrup. What a paradox Service (3/4) - Our waiter was incredibly friendly. also made frequent check-ins. However, when we asked for salt and pepper, one of the servers acted very rudely and with attitude.

Yelp
Such a cute place!! Love the ambiance here. Came here for a celebration dinner and they had live music playing which made for a really nice vibe. We ended up getting there a little before our reservation so the staff kindly seated us by the fireplace before moving us to our table when it was ready. Ended up ordering the cheese board and roasted red pepper pillow pockets. Really liked all the different spreads associated with the cheese boards (but I did wish they provided more crackers to go with it). The pasta was great! Because we were celebrating the staff was also incredible kind enough to bring us a complimentary champagne toast as well. They also kept checking in with us to make sure everything was good. Loved our experience here and would definitely recommend it!

Yelp
There's the kind of restaurant you visit strictly for the main course, maybe even just one dish from the list of mains. Then there's the kind of place where, glancing evereything you think: "I'll have one of everything..." and then, with your kids looking up at you, you follow it up with "Oh, and yes kids... we *are* getting dessert tonight too." That was my experience at The Cottage. We needed a nice place with some great ambiance, live music, and amazing food. That's exactly what we got. Whether it was the short ribs, pesto pasta, mac and cheese side, the cheese board - or even the items from the kids menu (cheese pizza, turkey and cheese) - everything was great. And then - dessert, my goodness. By this point in the evening I had over-eaten, and yet when we were asked if we had any room for dessert... well, I somehow said yes. The FOMO at this point had carved enough space to precisely fit 1 Chocolate Ganache Tort like I was playing a perfect game of Tetris. Live music was nice, service was great, the roaring fireplace gave a great atmosphere. All in all, really happy to have visited the Cottage.

Yelp
I ordered the Turkish eggs and iced hazelnut oatmilk latte. The dish was tasty (the chili butter was a nice touch!), but I would have liked the bread toasted and warm instead of being slightly stale. The latte was a little sour for my taste, but still drinkable. The best part of my visit was the service. I didn't catch my server's name, but she was the one working the outdoor tables this Saturday. She was so friendly and genuine. I also overheard her being very kind to the couple who sat behind me. The wife's English wasn't very good, but the server understood that she didn't like the dish they ordered and so brought out another dish for the wife that was more suited to her palate. I did hear the wife say, as she tasted the new dish, "Is good!" The couple wasn't charged for the replacement dish, which is appropriate. I left a 65% tip for the server, which I hope she gets to keep because she deserves all the things. I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu. The venue also looks lovely, even the outdoor patio where they have cute lights and a centerpiece displayed. I hope the service is just as good next time!

Yelp
Be aware this restaurant charges a large fee ($60.00) even if you cancel your reservation via their automated text service before your set time.

Yelp
This restaurant is a jewel. We tried it on the recommendation of a friend and it was amazing! Our waitress Maddie was fabulous and catered to us like a pro! Get the croissant French toast! Share it because the portion is big! It was outstanding! I paired it with a side salad. The avocado toast was well seasoned and good!!! The atmosphere is quaint and upscale farmhouse!! It was so cozy especially with the fireplace! Outdoor seating was just as pretty!
google avatar

Yelp
What an amazing experience! We arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly by the fire, but also noticed the outdoor patio looks very cozy and you could still hear the live music! The food was SUPERB! We started with the tender Snake River Pork Meatballs *drooling* !!! The herbal tea selection is also top notch with large stuff sacks! We all ordered different entrees, I had the Special - The Duck Breast, we had the pork chop, the dijon crusted halibut, and the braised pork roast... Everyone truly enjoyed the execution of our dishes! Not only did the servers provide a detailed and delicious description of the Special, it was equally just as delicious! My only wish was MORE MEAT! I felt the serving was only a half of a duck breast, I could have easily eaten extra meat (I ate my friend's leftover halibut. I would also suggest lightening up on the sugar, the butternut squash was way sweeter than it needed to be. I love the natural sweetness of the butternut squash and feel it tastes best without the added sugar! We did go for dessert... The Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake was the winner among our group. I was really disappointed with the execution of this dessert. Again, unnecessarily doused with sugar and then topped with those fancy maraschino cherries, just sickly sweet. I was envisioning a lighter fluffier lemon cheese cake! Perhaps it would be worth looking into a no-bake cheesecake and using some lemon curd. Overall! This place IS A REAL WINNER! Such friendly and welcoming staff! The music was awesome! Great ambiance with the fire and decor! :) We truly were amazed and impressed! Thank YOU kindly!

Yelp
Warm cosy ambiance inside. I've dined outdoor patio, indoor and at the bar. Service is great and oh my the food arrives quickly. A big plus for me as I seem to be starving all the time. lol. The last time I stopped by, I had the short rib hash and now I am hooked. The presentation is beautiful and appetizing. I wish the eggs were a little more over easy to complete the meat and crispy potatoes. But all in all it's still pretty good. Another good dish is the croissant French toast. I keep hoping that they will offer regular French toast because I love their recipe. Maybe one day they will switch it up. You should also check out their happy hour. Sip your vino with some cheeses on the patio on a nice sunny day in summer or sit by the cosy fireplace indoors. I think there's something for everyone. Oh did I mention that they are dog friendly! Yay.

Yelp
Friendly service from each worker that we interacted with. We came on a Saturday morning with no reservation, since we wanted to take our chances of getting an indoor seat as opposed to the outdoor patio. The patio is not closed off (tent situation so covered at least) so it'll still be chilly, though they do have heat lamps. The expected wait time was 30 minutes but we probably got seated less than 10 min after. The vibes are nice and cozy inside for the holidays! The food is essentially what you can find at a classic American diner but elevated. I think the quality matches the price. I got the biscuits and gravy and thought the gravy was different from other sausage gravy I've had, but it was good - not too salty. The biscuits were soft as well and did a good job of not soaking up too much gravy. The eggs on the other hand were cooked well but unfortunately had too much salt. I thought this might've been an isolated experience but my friends had the same complaint about their dishes. If the dishes had been less salty, they would've gotten two thumbs up from me.

Yelp
My friends are I have been OBSESSED with this new cafe restaurant located less than 5 mins from UWB campus. Everything on their menu is sooo good and their coffee is amazing as well. I love their breakfast menu especially the eggs Benedict and the croissant French toast. Their dinner menu is great as well. I love the vibe inside, it's very modern and warm. I would go there every week if I could and I'm so happy I have discovered my new cafe spot to hang out and get some work done. The food is a little bit on the pricier side but I'd say its so worth it.

Yelp
Amazing food and service brunch menu is on point with the food. I had the cottage burger with truffle fries and chile. Amazing combo. The waitress was amazing and respectful. Coming back for sure again . The atmosphere was great with fireplace and heaters.

Yelp
I read the reviews and mildly agree: service could be a touch faster, and who would mind if the wait were shorter? (It was 15 minutes for my 4-person crew at 1p on Christmas Eve). But based on my family's experience at The Cottage, let me hypothesize that if you actually notice these things, you're just not having enough fun. We ate ALL of our food, across four entrees. That's saying a lot! My dish, the croissant French toast, was crispy, sweet, soft inside, and superbly textured. The tart berries helped add balance, the syrup sweet but not cloying. (I'm totally stealing the idea to use a croissant as the bread.) My mom had the breakfast croissant sandwich, which featured local Beecher's cheese; my brother had a short rib hash, which was gorgeously colorful; and my aunt had a vegan tofu scramble, which she finished without noticing there were no eggs! With an expansive menu that includes mixed drinks and cocktails, there are plenty of reasons to come and come back.

Yelp
First time in and we were seated outside right away. They do not have physical menus and have instead QR codes laminated on the table to scan with your phone (or if you ask they may offer you a tablet to view it), and they also do not have a classic drip coffee available (just espresso, French press, etc.) Service was friendly and the ambiance is upscale casual, the decor outside is nice with covered seating, and the elevated tables are underneath various mood lighting and heat lamps. The Eggs Benedict was delicious l, and the hash browns were great (made with rosemary!) but the bacon on the side was a bit dry. I was informed that the fry was alright, but the sausage patty was a bit chewy. The prices are on the higher side, but they do have plenty of vegetarian options.

Yelp
Fun breakfast / brunch spot to go to mid week. Assuming weekends are really busy. We came in on Friday at lunchtime and got right in. Patio seating on a nice day or inside if not. Sit at the bar for friendly conversation with the staff. Not cheap but worth the price.

Yelp
The food was very good. I really loved the croissant French toast! My partner loved his fry up and our friends loved their food. It was amazing that their patio is dog friendly too! The server unfortunately forgot our order and didn't get it in until much later, so there was a bit of a delay. I'd definitely go back, because it's really cute and had a great ambiance.

Yelp
We ordered the quinche and hash brown came with are so delicious! Very healthy and not greasy. Their service is excellent and very friendly. The environment is very warm and cozy. Plenty of the parking spaces. We will come back and try for their dinner next time.

Yelp
Yummy brunch in a lovely atmosphere. Outdoor patio is lovely even on a colder day because they have a great heater set up. Inside is also nice and cozy with a fireplace. We went for brunch and enjoyed our choices. Highly recommend the croissant breakfast sandwich. Croissant was buttery and flakey - added bacon, it was a good call! Shrimp and grits were good but not great. Servers were super friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Visiting from Hawaii. The cottage is a vibe, I really enjoyed the decor and ambience. We were seated quickly. Our server was very attentive and answered questions about the food and gave recommendations The food...we came in for Brunch. Everything we ate was delicious. The Turkish eggs were light and delicious (not too heavy) and I shared the scotch egg with my husband. It was nice breakfast twist to use sausage. My husband said the shrimp and grits were tasty. Location is clean and gives little town vibes. I would highly recommend.

Yelp
We celebrated a birthday dinner. Madison and her team made the night special. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming! And the food! (We were so in the moment we forgot to take pictures.) Started w/delicious truffle fries. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the capellini w/pork ricotta meatballs & I devoured the harvest pesto pasta. The staff showed up with a sweet, tart plum/apple crisp topped with a birthday sparkler! The atmosphere is cozy but the staff really make this place one of a kind.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast/brunch with the family and was happy we were seated much quicker than we anticipated. The food we ordered ranged from, wouldn't order again, to good. Although the lox and short rib hash were good, I don't think I'd go back. The service felt a little snooty from the waitress and fake nice from the host. I'd much rather go to Jo Schmo's diner and deal with gruff servers. The place was busy and I see a lot of good reviews but it wasn't my bag. Nothing was so good that made the mediocre service worth it for me. I've had better service from the donut shop on the other end of the building. ;)

Yelp
Summary: a cute local spot for brunch with kind wait staff. We were seated outside as we came on a weekend morning and didn't have reservations, but the indoor ambiance from what we saw was quite pleasant! Pros: * they serve classic brunch options * the eggs Benedict was decent * average priced food and drinks for the area * service was very kind Cons: * parking can be limited and street parking is sometimes hard to find * long wait times sometimes if you don't make reservations in advance, but they do have outdoor seating that usually has a table open * egg cheese croissant was dry and bland

Yelp
If you are looking for a cute place to hang out in and don't care about the food, this is the spot. If you're a foodie like me, don't come here. I want to love this place but the food is so underwhelming and prices are high. I have fully given this restaurant multiple tries and at different times of day. Dinner was as disappointing as brunch. Everything is just meh, bland and boring. Presentation is great but the taste just doesn't match. And it's not bad at all, but just does not meet the expectations since the presentation, ambiance and service are all great. Hire new chefs?? Giving 4 stars for everything else. But definitely a 3.5 if I could do that.

Yelp
Biggest let down. Heard wonderful things and read wonderful reviews but bar service was awful. Never got refills on waters, drinks took forever and were overly sweet, and bartender never made eye contact. Food was good but lacked creativity. Overheard multiple conversations between employees and they all sounded very miserable!

Yelp
This was a great find for special-days brunches. The rustic and farmhouse decor gave it a great ambiance. It was lively and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh with great presentation. Highly recommended for mother's day or birthday breakfast! The parking is limited to plan according.

Yelp
We came here for a baby shower and loved it! The ambiance and service was great - all of them remembered our orders without writing it down. The one star off is that the food is more on the pricy side for what you're getting. I ordered a short rib hash and it was quite salty. Not as much depth as I would like. For that it was 26 dollars. Other than the food quality, the presentation of the food was great and it seems to be an extremely popular place as it was filled.

Yelp
Cheers to finding a chic brunch spot outside of Seattle! Stylish interior with patio seats available. Everything we ordered was delightful but the Baked Croissant French Toast has to be my favorite. There was one walk-in table remaining at 9:30am Saturday. Next time I'd make a reservation to be safe. Food was timely and delicious, made for a lovely morning!

Yelp
Very disappointed to be treated so poorly for bringing my seizure detection service animal to this restaurant. Per ADA guidelines seating guests with service animals should be done in the same manner as any other diner. Upon arrival, we were not greeted but a bartender suggested (from behind the bar) that we could not sit anywhere but directly by the door. This not only makes no sense but also implies an extremely problematic ableist viewpoint held by the employees of this establishment. Against out better judgement we sat at the mandated table and were eventually greeted by a server who then proceeded to be incredibly rude because we requested paper menus as the restaurants QR codes were not working. At this point we had seen enough and left. Really hoping this place takes the time to review the ADA guidelines surrounding service animals. The next guest they treat with such disrespect may decide to settle the matter litigiously- and that fine will be quite hefty.

Yelp
I'm over the moon for the appetizer meatballs. Everything else we have eaten has been great, too. The cocktails are delicious. We have had good service each time and we enjoy sitting outside. There are heaters which is a major selling point.

Yelp
Great brunch spot in downtown Bothell! I had the short rib hash (also called root vegetable hash) and it was a generous serving of rib meat, potatoes, and veggies on a hashbrown layer. Everything was flavored well and I like the chimichurri sauce to balance everything together. If I'm being overly critical I'd say the potatoes were a bit overcooked, but otherwise I enjoyed it. My wife said her eggs benedict was one of the best she's ever had. The eggs were perfectly poached, the muffin was crisp on the outside yet moist on the inside, and the hollandaise sauce complemented everything without being too heavy and thick. We sat outside in the tented area and it was the perfect temperature. Service was fast and friendly, so we will definitely be back! Parking is not the greatest with a small lot for several other restaurants and businesses, but there is street parking too.
