"What started as a quaint breakfast lodge in La Jolla 30 years ago has since expanded to a total of three locations in North County. Where friendly service is a priority, the Cottage has drawn in diners for its variety of brunch options: omelets, Benedicts, pancakes, and more notably, its homemade granola. Vegan and gluten-free options abound, the latter extending to cinnamon swirl pancakes and a wild mushroom omelet with goat cheese.
