The Touristy Waterfront Seafood Restaurant Power Rankings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If TGI Fridays decided to do a hostile takeover of Red Lobster (RIP), it would look like this Miners Landing restaurant. Families in plastic bibs and rowdy groups of out-of-towners demanding off-menu appletinis jostle for space inside the wood-paneled dining room where they sell souvenir t-shirts that say “Got Crabs?” Totally cool if that’s your scene—just know that the “signature” crab cakes are bland and tiny, and that the whipped cream-topped colada sugar bomb might have you questioning various life choices." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente, kayla sager riley

Visited family in Seattle on a Sunday and this place was the only one that was left open in tourist area until 9 PM. It did not disappoint in having really good seafood. The portions were generous, and the staff is really nice. My dad is handicapped and they made sure to get us a good table for him to sit with his scooter. Our whole party was satisfied with our food. I recommend : Halibut tacos Scampi Fish and chips The food was very fresh and I love the theme. Great place for tourist to come and enjoy the fresh Washington seafood and views.

Google
We had high hopes for The Crab Pot and spent around $200 for our visit. The service was truly excellent. Warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the experience. Everything looked great, but the flavor was surprisingly mild, like they forgot the seasoning altogether. For a seafood spot, we expected a bit more punch. The portions also felt a little light for the price. We love trying new places, and while we appreciated the atmosphere and staff, the food just didn’t wow us this time.

Google
The Crab Pot is a seafood restaurant with a few locations in the US known for its large selection and group meals where they dump the food on the table. This location is on the pier in Seattle inside the big building under the Ferris wheel. Parking around here is awful, so be ready to either pay a ton to walk a block or pay a little but walk 4-6 blocks. Inside, they probably have over a hundred tables and are usually pretty busy since it's a tourist attraction. Their menu is pretty big, with big emphasis on crab and salmon locally sourced. Prices are pretty high for the portions, which actually aren't bad, but you're paying for some of the greatest seafood and the allure of Seattle waterfront dining. The staff here are nice and friendly. The food is good, crab was delicious, and clams were pretty solid. Overall it's a fun place to go to od you're willing to pay between $60-$100 per person, a fun experience to crush your own crab legs with a hammer, and eat fresh seafood.

Google
The food here was very fresh and of good quality, and the beer was absolutely amazing—I still find myself craving it as I write this review. As for the seafood, the Dungeness crab was delicious, but the snow crab was too salty and the shrimp felt under-seasoned. The portion of potatoes was overwhelming compared to everything else. The biggest downside, though, was the service. Our waiter only came by to take the order and drop off the food, never once checking on our table in between. It felt like he didn’t care at all, and at the end I realized they add a service charge even for two people—maybe that’s why there seemed to be so little effort put into service.

Google
We came for dinner the night before our cruise. What better way than to start with some seafood. We got the sourdough bread and the clam chowder soup to start. The soup was delicious. My wife got the shrimp sliders and I got the fried platter. Both were tasty and would get again. I did want to get one of the seafood feasts, but two pots needed to be ordered so it's limiting if only one person likes it or if it's too much food so we did not get a chance to try it. We will return next time we are in town.

Google
I was there 9 years ago! And I went back a few days ago. And nothing has changed. It's incredible. I highly recommend it. You can make a reservation in advance because it's always packed. It's absolutely delicious. I loved going back. I love the crab and all the seafood delicacies they have here. It's incredible. I definitely recommend it if you visit Seattle! ( Please bring your physical ID if you wish to drink alcohol.)

Came here for dinner in May recently. It was around 7pm but it was not full. Ordered a few things to try and the food is ok. The dessert was quite nice, we took back some as it was quite a big portion too.

Google
We had a fantastic dinner at the crab pot! It’s definitely on the pricey side but we do like the seasoning and the freshness of seafood. Wanted king crabs so we ordered the Alaskan! Descent size of food, both of us were super full when we walked out of the restaurant. We were worried it might not be enough food at first since the Alaskan were charged per person so we ordered a bucket of mussels. Turned out it wasn’t necessary at all!

Yelp
We went on a late cruise and needed something to eat before heading to the hotel and this looked interesting so we decided to try it. Lots of room inside and we were able to get a seat looking out at the water. There were four of us and we ordered crab cakes, a salad. fish and chips and clam chowder and split it so we could all taste something. Some of us liked the food, others just thought it was okay. Ryan, our server, was good and helpful as we had to put some things on the side (for example anything with dairy), and he was helpful. We were one of 3 tables as the restaurant closes at 9, and we stayed until about 9:30 with no problem.

Yelp
Came here to eat the seafood boil. Came here once 4 years ago and I remember it being so good & well seasoned. This time around the food kinda came out cold because it wasn't hot. And where was the seasoning? I hardly saw/ tasted anything on it. Very disappointing because I hyped this place up to so many of my friends and family. Last time I will be back sadly.
google avatar

Yelp
Eh, it's okay. Seafood broil was pretty much over cooked. Probably wouldn't come here again. Servers were all really nice though! Eating at the waterfront during a nice day was pretty awesome!

Yelp
The Crab Pot is located near Pier 56 in Seattle and offers spacious indoor seating and waterside outdoor seating. We opted for outside and enjoyed the boat views. I had the dungeness crab boil and it was fun putting on a bib and digging in! The flavors, however, were lackluster. The seasoning was very bland and the crab legs were overcooked and looked purple and dry. My mom had the fried seafood platter and noted that the salmon was extremely dry as well. Service was lackluster and our waitress seemed very bothered by each simple request. Great concept, poor execution.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely won't be returning. The food was less than mediocre, especially with it being so close to the water. It honestly reminder me of Dicks. The waiter was nice until she started to argue with us about their false advertisement. It is promoted that the Seafood Feast is for two or more people for $69.95 but then charged that per person. The amount of food we were given was not $140 worth of seafood. The food had absolutely no seasoning on it and multiple of the crab legs were old or cooked prior to being we arrived due to their stiffness and coldness. This was a huge disappointment for the first time in Seattle!

Yelp
We recently came here on a chill Sunday afternoon before heading to the movie theater at Pacific Place, and we loved our experience. We had been hesitant to come here thinking it's a tourist trap but after living in the city a few years we finally caved and regret not coming sooner. It is a cute place, and the food was good value. We ordered the Westport Feast for Two and it was just enough for the two of us, we were pretty full on just this. I guess if you're still hungry, they have a bunch of entrees, starters, desserts, etc..you can supplement. I liked that you can also order "add-ons" in case you want to add to each of the feasts, and they were running a special the day we went, which they often do. I've only been to one other seafood boil in the past & it was in Northern California, so I may not have a ton of experience with seafood boils, but we still felt the quality was okay for the price. There are several high-end places in the city, like Cutters and others, but this place is at the cheaper price point and average in flavor. If you really want high quality, this might not be your best option. This could be the place if you wish to get your feet wet. I'm big on mussels and clams, and the flavor wasn't entirely there for these; you can tell they were a bit oversteamed in some instances, but the Snow crab and Dungeness crab were the stars of the show. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty these were. Next time we come here, we think we will primarily order crab entrees since we liked it in the boil. This place hit the craving spot, and I can see us casually walking in again in the future. It's pretty chill, we saw families, tourists, and dates happening, I liked how versatile it is here and the workers were constantly cleaning so the place is pretty clean.

Yelp
This is a very, very touristy type restaurant right where the cruise ships dock. However, the staff is very friendly, and works at making sure customers enjoy their experience. Crab was perfectly seasoned, mussels and clams were plentiful.
google avatar

Cristi C.

Yelp
Atmosphere was great for tourists, but the food itself was not exciting. Definitely the smallest portion of a crab boil I've ever seen for that price - even in Seattle. The crab and the salmon was good - but incredibly small portions that we were still hungry when we left. This is just a tourist spot and so they really get everyone with high prices. As a local - I won't be returning, but everything was fresh for sure and the service was super nice and friendly. Also - provide your servers with pens!!!! Why do they have to buy their own?!??
google avatar

Lindsay S.

Yelp
I think I'd describe this as touristy but good. Not like that place in Amarillo that offers the meal free if you can eat a 5 lb steak, that place is touristy with bland food. This is touristy with decent food. I wouldn't say it's great, you definitely need to visit pikes, Vons or a multitude of other places for the five star food, but this is a solid four and o would t turn down any invitation for this place. Service was pretty good
google avatar

Shawn D.

Yelp
OK, we have avoided this place for a while assuming it was inferior seafood geared towards tourists that have no discerning taste, but oh boy we were wrong! In fact we would consider this some of Seattle's finest and freshest fare. The waiter was a kick in the pants and one of the most attentive we've seen, and after going back home to Oregon we realized we left our credit card there. Called them the next day and they cheerfully mailed it back to me free of charge! We come to Seattle a few times a year and we will make a point of dining at the Crab Pot each time.

Yelp
Snow Crab and Dungeness combo 2 lbs. King Crab, potatoes, corn on the cob, 2 Wedge Salad, and a Crab Scampi for 4! So delish! Great drinks too!
google avatar

Billy B.

Yelp
W food, got the snow crab legs and absolutely destroyed them. If you do go here make sure to get the rhubarb cake for dessert, it was amazing. Great service, the waiter was extremely nice and told us when everything would be done. Truly a 5/5

Yelp
If you're looking for delicious crabs and seafood in Downtown Seattle, this is your place! TONS OF CRABS!!! Plus lots of local beer and great cocktails! Graham was PHENOMENAL on our first visit! Great recommendations and even better service! The second round, I was sat at a back table and left for over 10 minutes with zero service, so unfortunately I didn't stay for more of the food...huge miss on the service side, especially when you have great waiters like Graham.

Yelp
Seattle waterfront dining for the mobs of tourists including us. My date loves salmon but she said hers was way too salty. I hate seafood but I can highly recommend the burger. It was great. Service was fantastic despite the crowds. Water, drinks, food, and bill delivered quickly and pleasantly.

tina b.

Yelp
The shrimp didn't seem that fresh. We went today 10/12 from 3pm to 4pm. We didn't have a very good waiter. He kind of just ignored us after getting our drinks. I had to go up to the register that is right across from the bar to ask for a fork. I asked for hot sauce and they never gave me any even though the tables around got hot sauce when asked. Then my husband go up to the register to pay because he was chatting with friends instead of coming back for the check. The people across from us got tired of being ignored so they left. It kinda felt like he paid more attention to certain groups/types of people and if we weren't that type or deemed worthy or whatever we got ignored. It kinda sucked actually. I'm sure they'll pay a lot of attention to you if you spend more $120, which was our bill.

Aiden

Yelp
I went with high expectations because of its reputation, but the taste was more ordinary than expected, and the prices were high despite being in a coastal city, so I probably wouldn't go again. The service was excellent. I didn't use the parking, so I'm not sure about it. Hard to find entry.

Mike O.

Yelp
I love the King Crab here, but it can be pricy based on the current market price!!! Last year, 2023, the market price for King Crab was around $68 dollars per pound. This year, 2024, the price was $90 per pound!!!! The king crab comes with a generous supply of drawn butter, corn on the cob, and baby red potatoes, all covered in the Crab Pots blend of spices. The waterfront ambiance adds a flare of authenticity to the dining experience, and the King Crab does taste incredibly good!!!
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
A little on the pricier side for what you get, but to be expected as it is located in the middle of a tourist attraction area. I would come back just for the meal I had! GLOW: -They have indoor and outdoor seating. I believe some areas have a more appealing view than others -The Alaskan salmon entree was delicious! Perfectly grilled. The sides were basic -Service was friendly and efficient GROWS: -Please communicate allergens with the server. Not all ingredients are clearly listed on the menu... for instance their stuffed crab comes with corn, which I wouldn't expect to be in a crab mix.

Ben J.

Yelp
The food was so good, the service was amazing. Armando was super nice and he listened to everything me and my family said. I would definitely recommend
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
The Crab Pot! Very busy touristy spot with nice views of the water since it's right along the pier. Large establishment with hundreds of tables, and I came when the weather was good so the outdoor seating was nice :) Loved the complimentary bread with butter. Then we got "The Westport" for $56.95 per person. I repeat.. that price you see on the menu is *per person* (so they're supposed to add portions accordingly). And we did receive a good portion of steamed seafood - Dungeness Crab, Snow Crab, Shrimp, Clams & Mussels, Andouille Sausage, Corn on the Cob, and Red Potatoes. Good spices on everything. It's expensive but in the end we got a good portion of fresh seafood, and being able to smash crab legs with a mallet is a fun time for everyone.

Yelp
We were so excited to try seafood boil and waited weeks to be disappointed. The seafood had no seasoning it's like they just sprinkled some and that's it ! No butter or lemon , no multiple seasonings! I recommend the Pastas were so good ! Definitely recommend the crab Mac n cheese could definitely use more crab meat ! Drinks were good as well . If you're coming here to try their boils , please don't ! Service was good and quick our server was super nice and helped us with the menu . Interior is nicely decorated & has a large menu with variety for everyone
google avatar

Rebeca A.

Yelp
This was the first place we came to eat after flying into Seattle. What a disappointment. We ordered crab cakes as an appetizer it was the only things that was good. The rest of the food had no seasoning and the corn and potatoes were not cooked. With regards to the service we ordered soup and they never brought it. Our waitress barely came to check on us and she didn't even realize we never got the chowder. We had to point it out when she brought us our bill and she had charged us for it. I wouldn't recommend coming to eat here, prices are extremely high for terrible food. Not worth it.
google avatar

Anjela L.

Yelp
I feel like a lot of people always want to try out crab pot and I'm no exception. We went for a little date there but honestly it was pretty mid. It's mainly veggies and clams there's not a lot of crab. The crab that was there had a lot of black holes through it and a lot of the clams were shut meaning they weren't fully cooked since clams open once they're cooked. It was nice to experience it once but I won't come again.

Melissa V.

Yelp
Very fun dinner experience! We got The Clam Bake. Our server was great and it was right on the water. Not too busy on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Food was good. I love crab and it was delicious!
google avatar

J S.

Yelp
Pretty much "nature's own" dishes; boiled seafood and spices. Crab, shrimp, corn on the cob, etc. thrown onto butcher paper to allow customers to pound on with a wooden mallet. Our service was excellent; we had a lovely waitress. It's a stereotypical seafood indoor/outdoor restaurant in need of a deep cleaning to freshen it up.
google avatar

Natasha M.

Yelp
This place was great! It feels like the quintessential seafood restaurant. Very family friendly. Our server was great and very helpful when choosing items. Do not let the price scare you the amount of food you get is more than enough to take some home. We ordered the appetizers as well and man were we full. When we go back to Seattle we are heading here first!

Yelp
From reading though the reviews on here, it seems that dining here is either a hit or miss. Yes, we all know this place and this are are tourist traps, and the prices reflect that, but no, the food is not bad at all, and we are willing to pay for good seafood....specifically, their steamed/boiled crab legs, shrimp, mussels, clams, etc., which is exactly what we were looking for. I think the only thing that can be considered a bit deceiving is the menu price for the seafood "feasts"....because, at a quick glance, we thought the Alaskan Feast was $67.95 for the order, but upon more careful look at the menu, no, it is $67.95 per person. Like I said, not a problem for us if the food is good. So, we went ahead and order the Alaskan Feast for 2 because we knew we wanted all three of our favorite crabs.....Alaskan king crab, Dungeness crab, and snow crab.....then also coming with it were the head-on shrimp in the shell, steamed clams, and Pacific mussels......all steamed with andouille sausage, corn on the cob, and red potatoes. And for full enjoyment, the entire bag of this seafood feast was poured right onto our table top for us to go at at our gastronomical leisure :) Note that the seafood feasts are normally steamed with their house spices, but we wanted just plain and simple steamed seafood without the spices....which our very nice and friendly server arranged. The seafood came steaming hot, so fresh, and so perfectly cooked. The andouille sausage, corn on the cob, and red potatoes gave the seafood such a wonderful mild and not salty flavor that didn't overwhelm the taste of fresh seafood. We were also given some drawn butter on the side for dipping of the seafood and.....OMG....heaven! And that corn.....so fresh, firm/crunchy, and absolutely d'lish.....kind of addictive actually. Yea, it was a bit of work hammering to crack the crab shells, but it's all part of the fun experience, and we were given bibs to wear to protect our clothing.....of course, I still got crab juices splashed all over my face. All I can say is that it was fun, it was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our seafood feast! .....service was very good too.....but as you would expect in such a touristy place, it was pretty crowded, but we managed to get a window seat (vs inside) where it was a little less crowded and busy. In fact, we enjoyed everything so much that we decided to order another pound each of shrimp and mussels....they were OH SO GOOD, but were different from those we got with the feast....the shrimp came headless, and the mussels came with a different preparation......all good though. Other than the busy crowd here, my wife and I totally enjoyed our dining experience with exactly the crabs we were looking, just the way we liked them prepared, and just the way we liked to eat them......messily!!! :)
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
I came here on a recommendation and figured out this was tourist trap. Food I give 1 star. There were three of us and we ordered the Westport feast and it was sooooo bland. There was some kind of seasoning on the potatoes but it seemed like there was no salt. There was probably 1-1.5 lbs of crab legs for three people, entirely too much corn, probably about four heads of corn, and way too much shrimp. This felt more like a shrimp boil than a crab boil. The quality of the food did not warrant the price. Service was fair but nothing special. I would not recommend this place. I cannot not recommend this place with a straight face, I get the sense that this place is resting on it's great location rather than the quality of their food.

Carrie L.

Yelp
my family and i came here when we were touring around pike place and the pier and we heard lots of good reviews online so we decided to give it a try. for context, we love seafood boil and that's what we were expecting going to crab pot. we ordered "the westport" seafest and we were extremely disappointed with the flavor and the freshness of the seafood. it was fun to bash and crack open the seafood with a mallet and wear the little bibs but for the price of the meal and the quality, we weren't super impressed :(

Yelp
Walked by this place many times, always wanted to try it. We came here on a weekday which made it kind of nice, no Waite and a window seating. Our hostess was a young gentleman. No hello and no personality. Usually hostess should greet you, maybe that's how they do it here. We ordered one of the most popular dishes. Everything came out fantastic, cooked to perfection. I was kind of hesitant on the price at first, but all in all, it was worth every penny after our waitress made it very delightful experience. She was very pleasant, with a great personality, and very tentative. She rocked it! Beer was delicious, but cocktails could've used a little more of a kick for the price of $12. Steamed clams were pretty tasty. Restrooms were clean and so was the dining room. Any info, just check out my receipt. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Not fresh seafood at all . Crabs are frozen for years. Shellfish is not fresh. Shrimp, potatoes and corn are best served. Not recommended,
google avatar

Yelp
Terrible greasy food , not a fresh seafood , even fries were disgusting . We left this place hungry

Yelp
Came here for vacation, really wanted a crab boil. I got the Alaskan king crab boil and it was delicious. My husband got the fish and chips, they had to be the best fish and chips we've ever had. The only gripe I had is that they did not have proper tools for the boil. They are known for their little wood cutting board and a little hammer to get the meat out. I found it was super hard to use. But other than that, loved the food and experience.
google avatar

Tiana F.

Yelp
Food was tasty. Service was great. And the ambiance is always beautiful on a sunny day over the water.
google avatar

Sherry W.

Yelp
I'm always down for a good seafood boil. This place was calling our name when we were in search of a seafood spot while in town. It did not disappoint. Each of us couples got the Alaskan Seafeast for Two which has Jumbo Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, Snow Crab, Head-on-Shrimp, Steamed Clams, Pacific Mussels, Andouille Sausage, Corn On The Cob & Red Potatoes. It's $58 per person. Amazing food and service. This location we went to is in a busy and loud environment right on the busy pier. We had a great time though!

Gary A.

Yelp
If you want a crab boil served on the table this is the place to go! Sausage is too well done and the corn has sugar added to make it sweet but otherwise it's a great meal!
google avatar

Natalie W.

Yelp
Downtown Seattle - fun spot. Good food, the price reflects the quality. Next door is Wings over Washington which I recommend. Ask for garlic butter if your getting crab.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
Very overrated place! The service was very weird she kept forgetting things. She recommended me snow crab claws because it was daily special and when it arrived the meat inside were impossible to take out. It was all like fibers falling apart. It was so overcooked. When I told her she said chef said thats how it should be?! Unacceptable, it's overcooked. She agreed to change it and she gave me something more expensive, however it tasted better. I found out the price when I got the check. Bloody Merry were very good. Oysters with spicy sauce I wouldn't recommend. Fish skewers halibut was good too however sides looked and tasted like microwaved. Waitress was very stressed out and she kept forgetting plate, napkins, waters etc and we felt like we are bothering her... Dessert was even more surprising it was rhubarb homemade pie and it came huge log! It was very sweet sponge cake around 2 lbs with rhubarb spread on top and ice cream. It was ok, however sponge cake was very sweet. Wouldn't come back.

Yelp
I stopped by for drinks and a bite to eat after a long and hot day exploring the waterfront and nearby sights. I sat by the bar and was greeted by Jordi, who provided exceptional service. Super friendly and offered menu recommendations. I enjoyed my Salmon BLT and chilled cocktails. The overall ambiance is cozy and comfortable with plenty of good options at reasonable price points. I look forward to visiting again in the near future. It's worth the trip if you're visiting Seattle - I do recommend.

Houji Q.

Yelp
**Food:** 1. The seafood did not taste fresh. 2. The preparation was poor, with uncleaned seafood and shrimp still containing the digestive tract. 3. Hot butter was served at room temperature. **Service:** 1. The waitress was rude and impatient. 2. A trashcan was moved near our table while we were dining. While I understand staff need to do their job, the smell of garbage was extremely unpleasant during our meal. **Other:** 1. The view outside was average. 2. If you're looking for value, this isn't the best option; it cost $150 for two people. **Personal Comment:** The seafood boil was one of the worst I've had. While I don't expect it to compare to Southern restaurants, it was worse than seafood boils I've had in the Midwest. Overall, a disappointing experience with both food and service. I would not recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Karl A.

Yelp
This was not a great experience. The server didn't know basic questions about the menu. For example, when we asked how large the tacos were, she shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know (in a tone that sounded snotty as all get out. The food was subpar at best. I asked for medium rare on the burger and I got a dried out puck. The bun was the best tasting part. The shrimp tacos were meh at best. They came with stale chips and salsa that tasted like Pace right from the jar (not hood if you haven't had Pace. The server never got me the refill I wanted on my drink. The hardest working person was the guy refilling the water and putting out table cloths. He was awesome! Promote him! Lousy service, lousy food, great location!

Yelp
We had a great time. Food, service and the outside deck was perfect! Great introductory visit for my friend's first visit to Seattle!

Yelp
The place used to be my go to in Seattle whenever I came from work. Sadly, post pandemic, they are not quite the same. The bundles don't include the good stuff (dungeness crab), and even when I order one for $60, it's tiny and shriveled up. I'd give them one last try, but our last experience was quite dissapointing.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this while walking and looking for lunch on my last day. Lively spot near the water with lots of cool sculptures. Be sure ask for a table near the window! Delicious food and stiff mimosas. No complaints from this New Englander. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
My son wanted to dine at an unpretentious location with good food before his birthday trek to the aquarium, and this place really fits the bill. The staff is casual and attentive, and the tables are covered in paper for your bucket of seafood that gets dumped in front of you. A mallet and bib is handed your way for you to go to town and crab and shellfish. It's pretty wild! Highly recommend for a very different experience that's fun for the family.

Yelp
The food was sub par. We spent over $130 for bland food. No spices and flavor. The outside seating area was fabulous and the weather was perfect.

Yelp
Fun place to for the experience. The restaurant was had about a 1hr wait time on a Thursday evening, but the staff was accommodating to my party of 8. I ordered the fish & chips - slightly disappointing for its stale fries, dry fish, and heavy dependence on tartar sauce for taste. The Westport was a nice shareable meal for 2 people. Fair mix of corn, potatoes, clams, mussels, and crab, and could have used more seasoning. The pot doesn't come close to cajun or southern boils, but does a fair job.

Yelp
Everything is as wonderful as when we visited 6 years ago! This time we ordered a feast of all kinds of crabs. Our kids enjoyed a lot hammering the crabs - It made our day with a lot of fun!

Yelp
We arrived around 11am, so we were expecting fresh, piping hot food. We ordered a couple of appetizers, The Capt'n Combo, and (2) Alaskan Seafeast platters. First off, the bussers only spoke Spanish, not a big deal since my sister-in-law spoke the language. However, they weren't allowed to refill anything but water. So I only got 2 refills on my soft drink. Wait staff wasn't easy to flag down. Second, when the fried food came out, Caps Combo was warm and tasted like it's been sitting on the warmer for awhile. Our Seafeast Platters came out 1 hour after ordering. I was willing to see past that if the crab and shellfish was worth it but it was over-cooked and dry. I've been to many different establishments with the same style cuisine and MOST charge and serve by the pound. Not with these platters. Each order was supposed to feed 2 people so we order (2) orders. The server OVER HYPED the serving size. If the service was good, we might've enjoyed the visit more but the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there and they only checked on us once. The busser, who can only refill water, was EXCELLENT! Constantly kept my glass full, probably because he knows the food was dry lol. Busser is the only reason this place got a star at all. Oh and the family behind us left because they could hack the wait time. Maybe my visit was just a fluke. We left a good tip because we're not jerks and we know what it's like to work in the service industry. Happy eats my friends!!!
