The Crepe House

Typical SF crepe house in a bustling part of the city. I love getting the Mediterranean crepe. The time I went there was an Unplug and Play event being hosted at the Crepe House. It's fantastic to see restaurants collaborating with local artists/producers to bring more bodies into their venue and allow a warm and inviting space for people to connect. Service was lovely. The gentleman at the register was very sweet and friendly. You can bus your own tables and they have a nice water dispenser that's hooked up to the faucet (clearly I have no idea what those things are called). I would recommend this place for lunch, light dinner or a casual hang with friends for coffee, or hot chocolate with whip cream or a hot cider. They only serve wine as an alcoholic beverage but who drinks alcohol these days in SF? 😉

A little expensive but very delicious food! We loved our "Belgian waffle", "maple cinnamon latte" with just the right amount of sweetness and "cannelloni crepe" with an extremely flavorful combo of eggplant and mushrooms giving it kind of a meaty texture. Quick and pleasant service. Cozy seating 😊

Hands down the BEST French toast I have ever had! I was hesitant because it said corn flakes French toast, but wow absolutely delicious! I have been here before and I remember the food being just as delicious! Today I ordered take out and the food was made in a reasonable amount of time and was given to me in a very neat and clean box. Thank you for the great start to my morning, can’t wait to come back!

I’ve had a lot of savory crepes and better ones. Trust me, the IHOP pesto crepe is far better than what I got here. I ordered a pesto chicken crepe, and it had no pesto, full of tomatoes. It was bland, potatoes on the side were not required, didn’t eat that, and the salad—who gives so much salad for a crepe? Funny that the name of the place is Crepe House, but this was one of the worst crepes I’ve had for $19

It has always been my goto brunch place. I tried the hamburger for the first time. It was good - clean looking, not sloppy looking. Fries surprisingly exceeded my expectations. It comes with lettuce, a slice of tomato and a few pickles.The fries were crisp and well seasoned. You can ask for ranch dressing at no additional cost. I thought the hamburger was expensive at $17 for what you get. It cost more here than a burger joint.

The chorizo scramble was amazing! Very well seasoned and flavorful (from a Puerto Rican’s taste buds, that’s a lot to say). If you’re craving a sweet crepe for breakfast, definitely go for the strawberry and whipped cream! The brown sugar and cinammon with the cream pair SO WELL. I shared it with my partner and almost ordered another one for myself. The service was great, the waitress was very sweet and greeted us at the door when we entered. Service was also quick, around 8min wait after we ordered on a busy Sunday morning at 10am. Been here twice now and they never disappointed. Definitely coming back next time I’m in SF.

It is probably one of the best burgers I have tried during my stay in SF. It is so much food that I almost couldn’t finish it. The server Kamile was super helpful and friendly, she explained the whole menu for me because they have so many different options. I will certainly come back whenever I have a chance.

Comfortable and homey. Nice portions. Solid friendly but matter of fact service with a smile. Find a table, note your number, look up at the menu boards to pick your food, order and pay at the counter then take your seat. They'll bring your goodies to you quite quickly. If you have leftovers, head to the shelf to the right of the till to conveniently grab your own to go necessities. The unisex washroom is a single stall so that's abit tricky if the place gets busy, esp. If you have little ones - don't wait to go... I enjoyed their food and 90s pop music. Found myself head bobbing more than a couple times. Had a fantastic mocha with mountain of tasty whipcream and a Miami heat crepe. Soft and cheesy but not mushy at all! Salad was the only thing to provide a suggestion on, if I was to be picky, there was a lot of dressing and a few wilty pieces. A couple friends of mine wouldn't like that. No complaints from me, just something to improve to be that much closer to perfect! (A suggestion might be to put the dressing on the side or in a squeeze bottle on the table). Florentine Crepe - tasty stand crepe. Very cheesy and lots of spinach. I was that there was more feta throughout instead of the other cheese and that the spinach was chopped to also distribute more evenly Also tried the Pesto Pasta from my friends plate. The pesto was creamy and had good flavor. Not too heavy but a generous portion especially if you go for lunch. Good amount of chicken in it. Service is good and they bussed a table we wanted by the window. Chill and casual spot, not very busy on a weekday.

Everything was solid. Crispy potatoes, crisp salad, hot and well seasoned chicken crepe. Also got an OJ that was freshly squeezed. Service is order from the counter.

Upon sitting down I watched a mouse scurry from the kitchen door to a hiding place in the wall of the building then proceed to peek out at me. This dropped the rating from a 3 to a 2, probably should be a 1. Will try to upload the photo I took. Got a savory crepe that eas weirdly folded on itself to accommodate a huge overly dressed piled of spring greens. As a crepe with cheese and pesto, I expected it to be more oily but have had them elsewhere in SF and France with not nearly the grease that was coming off of my almost pizza-like crepe. That being said it was still pretty good...however the salad was essentially inedible with how much dressing was on it.

Super tasty food. Bit of a mixup with my order but it got sorted out. Had the eggplant crepe and would do so again. So many yummy choices!

Sometimes I crave a good Eggs Benedict. The Crepe House on Polk serves it and many others. Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Just wanted to point out that sitting outside on Polk street can be adventurous sometimes. Located on Polk St. and Washington St.; across the street from UpforDayz.

I happened to be in SF today for an appointment and decided to try out The Crepe House. I drank a raspberry Italian soda which I loved! For appetizer, I had their soup of the day which was a tomato soup that came with a small piece of bread and butter. I don't like all tomato soups but theirs was delicious. My entree was a chicken pesto crepe that came with potatoes and spring mix salad. The salad is just the kind you can get from Safeway but the chicken pesto was quite tasty. I won't especially be back since I don't live nearby and my favorite crepe restaurants are Crepevine (various locations), and Frodo's in Fremont. When it comes to portion size, The Crepe House's crepes are a lot less filled and are just half the size at about the same price. The taste is very similar to Crepevine (which is great), but not so great when it comes to value. Either way, I did still enjoy the lunch here so 3 stars overall. I'll definitely be on the look out to buy more of the Italian soda!

Amazing neighborhood spot! I love the atmosphere, it has the vibes of a diner but modern. The sandwich and fries were delicious! I pass it all the time and I'm happy I finally tried it!

Very retro interior where you order at the counter first! No wait for a Saturday brunch, and food was served quite promptly. I got the London fog, which was very good, and the Miami heat crepe, which came with crispy potatoes and salad. The portions were way bigger than I expected (justifying the price point), and the potatoes were very well done. The crepe was a bit heavy for my taste but I would come back to try the dessert crepes as well!

Eggs Benedict was wonderful with the eggs cooked to perfection and the bacon delicious. The service was friendly and helpful, and they're genuinely happy to serve you. The ambiance is nice and approachable. Outside dining available on the sidewalk, and the inside is inviting and neatly decorated. They have a lot of different options beyond just crepes, so it's a great place for families and friends. I feel very fortunate to have found this place. Sometimes you just feel overwhelmed with options to choose from, and you can't go wrong with The. Crepe House. Amazing!

Great casual brunch, no frills -- just well executed crepes ranging from savory to a couple sweet options. craving eggs more..? -- this cozy tavern has those as well. Need an outdoor table? Great! Dog friendly out space available for your furries. Cheers

This is definitely a great casual brunch spot for couples and families! If you're looking for a no nonsense, home style meal with reasonable prices, this is the place for you! Ordering: You walk right up to the counter, tell the lovely staff what table number you'd like to sit at, and pay for the food. You can get your own water cup to the left of the register! The lady with the glasses is very sweet! Food: The chipotle burger has an amazing chipotle sauce, and the burger is truly cooked to your preferred temperature (medium rare is the way to go). The crepe with strawberries and bananas was really good! The ice cream was too good!

Clean bathroom AD accessible, crepe was fully loaded breakfast ingredients, nicely toasted served with perfectly cooked breakfast potatoes al dente will seasoned. Side of greens balanced out the meal. Clean premises. Soothing lighting. Good value and quick service

This place is just adorable. The ambiance is really nice, with intimidate table seating. There are a lot of crepe options here, and a stellar happy hour for mimosas and bloody Mary's for only $6. We got the pesto crepe which was delicious! It also came with a side of salad and potatoes. I shared it with my husband and was completely full at the end. The salad dressing was excellent, and the potatoes were a perfect side. The crepe was stuffed to the brim, and they didn't skim on any cheese which I really liked. Overall the crepe was amazing. I want to come back to try out more of their other options.

It's a great "go to no nonsense" place for breakfast and lunch foods. There's a huge selection of crepes, sandwiches and omelets. There's also pasta, hamburger, bagels, and salads. There is something for everyone. Portions are ample. Food is served temperature hot, tasteful and flavorful. Staff and service are good. Presentation of food is appealing. Décor is simple - wooden chairs and tables. Seating is indoors or outdoors. Wifi must be good since many patrons were working on their computers while eating. My favorite is the French fries - crispy on the outside, tender in the insides and leaves no grease behind. Salads are crisp and fresh. Hamburger comes with lettuce, tomatoes and fries.

Really tasty. Generous portions. Great location in a not too noisy neighborhood. Perfect for breakfast.

The service is friendly and of course the food is awesome!! I usually have the chicken pesto crepe but I've also had the egg Benedict and they are amazing. When ever I have out of town guest I always bring them here for brunch! You can't go wrong with anything you order. Prices are reasonable as well!!!

We came here on a Saturday morning around 10 and there was no line to order, and plenty of tables available. We ordered a Hawaiian crepe, Breakfast crepe, and a Fruity crepe (strawberry banana and nutella). Hawaiian crepe- amazing. I loved the sauce and the pineapple mushroom cheese combo. Will definitely get again. Breakfast crepe- also very good. Very hearty and a filling breakfast. Fruity crepe- comes with fresh strawberries and bananas and nutella inside, and a choice of ice cream or whipped cream. It was very good, I just wish there was a bit more nutella inside. The potatoes and salad that come with the savory crepes were great, and it was nice to have both and not just one or the other. Everything we ate was very high quality, and I would love to try more of their menu items!

Plenty of food and good service. I also like that they open early for breakfast at am. Perfect for a nice breakfast before heading to work.

Was looking for something easy and quick to eat. Menu option was large and had a variety of foods to select from, and overall very well organized inside. Service was good and food was delivered very quickly. Crepe was delicious and offered a nice variety of flavors on the savory side.

Cute place, fast service, delicious crepes. Only complaint I have is that the side potatoes were too salty for my taste. They also have a big menu with many breakfast and lunch options. A solid place to eat.

We came around 1 pm on a Saturday and although there was a line to order, there were still many tables available. I got the pesto chicken crepe without cheese, and I really liked it. It might be a little smaller than I remember (?) but overall, the meal was super filling. The chicken was juicy and the crepe was so yummy. The potatoes were somewhat crispy, but weren't seasoned enough at all unfortunately.

Crêpes and much more! We started off early on our Saturday morning doing some cable car rides and urban hiking. Oh, 10:50a only? meaning we were only out an hour-and-a-half walking? Well, it didn't matter because my tummy was calling out for food. Hubby knew about this place and he knows I love my crêpes so we took the Van Ness, Market, and California cable car back this way. The menu board above the order counter was extensive. Warning: you might be overwhelmed! They offered eggs Benedicts and omelettes, burgers, pastas, soups, sandwiches, salads and bagels... and, of course, crêpes: sweet and savory! We placed our order for a Chicken Pesto Crêpe (savory) and Fruity Nutella (sweet). Find a table and they will serve your food to you. We chose a table by the wall because they had sockets to charge our phones. The Chicken Pesto was so, so delicious! Generous portions of chicken breast, Swiss cheese, fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic and pesto sauce. All savory crêpe orders came with rosemary potatoes and mixed greens. The potatoes had a nice crisp to them and was yummy. For our dessert our Fruity Nutella hit the spot... strawberries, bananas and Nutella, my all time favorite sweet crêpes. They have indoor and outside seating. Excellent food, service was great! Great value too! Finding parking can be challenging in this area. From our hotel at WorldMark it was about an 8-min walk. The food was great. I got the chicken pesto crepe and banana foster crepe; we were completely satisfied and finished the whole thing. The decor inside is cute with good lighting and plenty of seating. The menu is plenty but not overwhelming. I would definitely come back here and try more of the menu. The staff were nice and the food came out fast.

Amazing! I came with a few friends and got: the Polk omelet, Tuscany omelet, the lox scramble, and the cornflake French toast. Everything was excellent, but my favorite was actually the Tuscany scramble since it was such a unique flavor. Couldn't get enough of the potatoes either! The lox was a little too "fishy" for my taste, and YOU HAVE to try the cornflake French toast: it's such an interesting texture. The service was perfect and the ambience was very low-key. Great find!

This is a casual, sit down breakfast/brunch spot in Nob Hill. The star of the show is the many different crepes they have. The menu has a lot of options, especially for the savory crepes, but the list isn't overwhelmingly large. The breakfast crepe and the chicken pesto crepe are both great options in the savory crepe category. Other solid breakfast choices include the eggs Benedict options, and they cook the eggs really well. None of us tried the dessert crepe options, mainly because the main entrees (at least all the ones we ordered) were pretty filling and came with a side of potatoes, but they had some solid choices on the menu as well. The service is great, the staff regularly checked on our table to make sure everything was going smoothly. The restaurant interior is super nice. It's a corner spot that has great natural lighting, a lot of space inside and outside, and great interior decor. I will definitely be back to check out more of the savory crepe options.

First, this is a very sweet little cafe with a cozy atmosphere, lovely staff, and fun location. I've had a dozen or so meals here over the years. My lunch experience last week was disappointing. I ordered the tuna sandwich on rye with rosemary potatoes and a cup of lentil soup. The soup was almost completely flavorless; the potatoes tasted of rancid oil, like they hadn't changed it in ages. The sandwich was just OK; it's not my favorite style of tuna sandwich -- very little actual tuna, mostly tomato and other toppings. I may go back because they do have great crepes and coffee.

Here's the deal - many selections for your crepe. The crepes are Large and Filled generously. I will say that the crepes were a bit thicker than I prefer, however, the selection, the flavors, and the serving is enough to eat half and have some for dinner (or lunch) that evening or next day, respectively. Service was quick, pleasant, attentive (not overbearing), and professionally friendly. Note- tables are somewhat small but nice for two people. MAZ

Crepes were delicious! The owner or mgr could not have been more accommodating! She was so nice! Very generous proportions , enough to take home for a snack later. We will be back! Want to try door dash delivery too as we live a bit outside the city!

Came here on a Monday morning to explore the food. The food is hearty and worth the price. Service is friendly and environment is clean and well managed for dinning in.

Popped in for some savory crepes while out or a stroll on Polk. Both featured chicken and there was chicken in every bite. Pesto chicken crepe was nicely seasoned--pesto not too overpowering. New Orleans crepe cheese, mushrooms, stewed tomatoes, delicious. Each crepe platter came with fried potatoes and salad--very filling and very satisfying.

Hii, don't get ripped off if you're buying from this place. Their crepes are very small. Nor even exaggerating when I say I was dissatisfied with how much the quantity of food is. I hope they do better tho :)

This was a tasty and pleasant experience! The Crepe House has a cozy and warm ambiance with plenty of tables to accommodate guests. The menu is pretty extensive with many options for guests without being overwhelming ranging from breakfast, savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches, salads, pasta and burgers - this menu is sure to please everyone in your party. I enjoyed the New Orleans Crepe, it was accompanied by a tasty and fresh salad and home fries. My husband had the Polk Omelette and said it hit the spot! It came with choice of bread and home fries. Great place to grab a bite!

Excellent portion sizes. Services was tremendous. Walked by and decided to stop in and try it out. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Happy Hour even on Saturday. I have nothing bad to say.

Ordered a salmon lox omelette. Wasn't an omelette it was a scramble. Came with my girlfriend and only received one napkin with both orders. Last but not least ordered a mango mimosa that never came and had to remind staff that I ordered with meal. As a black man I have to ask is this just bad service or racism? I'll let the people that read this review decide.

We ordered the Miami Heat and it wasn't bad, it just wasn't hitting. I thoroughly enjoyed the spice on top but I wish we had more! There was not nearly enough for a spice lover. Side of potatoes were cooked really well and the salad added a bit of freshness. The avocados just felt like they were not adding anything to the crepe. I always preferred a sweet crepe anyway, perhaps I'll get that the next time.

The food was good, but service needs work. My order was a Nutella with ice cream and a chicken pesto. I ordered first before the table next to me who was a table of 4. They had the same type of order as me, but they were served first. By the time I got my order, my ice cream was half melted, and they gave one of the other orders that I had to the other table next to me.

I got the cannelloni crepe. Idk what happened with this but part of it was hot and part was cold. They put cold marinara and parm on top, so it was lukewarm right out of the kitchen. The eggplant and mushrooms were just unseasoned and overcooked. The potatoes were hit or miss, some were crispy and some were devoid of seasoning. Overall not good, couldn't even finish it. The staff was nice, idk if I just got the one bad thing on the menu but it was really bad.

Ordered some egg Benedict with salmon and few pancakes. Great tasting. Also fresh orange juice. Fast service. Probably waited maybe 5 min before getting my food. Nice little cozy place.

Came here for weekday brunch with a couple friends. The place wasn't too busy at all and it's bright breezy atmosphere is very comfortable to sit in. The ladies running the place were very friendly at making recommendations and even wrote down recs of things to do around town for us after hearing we were visiting. The crepes here are pretty hefty and packed with filling, one of them had a whole half avocado which you don't see often in restaurants nowadays. We got a combination of savory and sweet crepes, which they use different batters for, and they were all equally good. I had the Miami heat which I would gladly get again. The side spinach salad and potatoes were really just filler as the dressing was pretty plain and the potatoes inconsistently crispy. They do have an actually hot hot sauce though which goes well with eggs and the potatoes. I wouldn't recommend getting an cappuccino here as the milk was very poorly/loosely frothed and broke down within minutes of getting to the table. There are close by coffee shops that'll do a better job in that regard. Overall this place is great if you have a hankering for crepes but I would be cautious with your expectations for some of their other offerings.

It's pretty good! A little expensive for the results, but it's a fine spot and one of the few in Sac to grab a nice crepe. The service was pleasant.

Located in central location right by union square and lower nob hill. Walked here from Hotel Triton. Came at 10am on a Monday for a late breakfast. You order at the counter space and they have huge chalk board menu. I imagine they likely change it every so often. My dtr opted for a sweet crepe (I wish my metabolism can handle the extra carbs and sugar! It looked delish!) I went for savory crepe which was also good! IN MY opinion it was super stuffed in the middle but lacked anything towards the edges so. Your bite was either all crepe or all yummy fillings inside. Just a minor detail I notice, but I am by no means a crepe expert! My crepe came with a side of breakfast potatoes. They were a little over cooked but still hit the spot. love the FRESH Orange juice option. They have am electronic squeezer behind the counter. Such a great bonus. Busy establishment even for a late breakfast, nor no wait and plenty of indoor seating and minimal outdoor seating even with the phenomenons weather.

This place is located in a pretty nice area of the city. Around 10am on a Friday parking wasn't the hardest to find in a walkable distance. The service at The Crepe House is great! Very welcoming environment with amazing food. The rosemary potatoes were absolutely scrumptious!! I highly suggest this place for a nice breakfast/brunch/lunch if you're in the neighborhood!
