I was craving something sweet and this place was open late, and I love crepes so I decided to give it a go! I opted for the berry cheesecake crepe, which was very nice and warm. The filling was delicious and not too sweet. The crepe was on the softer side and not crispy, just so you know! I also got a cappuccino which was good. Service was great and efficient. The place is nicely decorated with lots of seatings available. I thought the music was very loud however. Prices are pretty steep as well.

The Crepe shop is a gem for crepe and matcha lovers! Their crepes are perfectly made, and the matcha green tea is rich and flavorful. Cozy atmosphere and great service—definitely worth a visit!

It's an order at the counter (before seating) and self-service place. Went for Sunday breakfast! Ordered Lox and Chicken pesto (w egg) crepes - both were too tasty! cappucino & americano tasted standard, like that they served in pretty ceramic cups. Nice ambience and value for food. Might go back to try the sweet crepes.

Ok peeps this place is amazing for lox crepes. The wife and I both got these crepes and I usually don't post when that happens. Lox is one of our favorite things to eat and it is not a thing we get often. The cream cheese can overpower all the other flavors, BUT NOT HERE. They wip the cream cheese and make it wonderfully herbaceous so you can taste the lox capers and herbs. We are visiting a new city and this is the first breakfast here and we are coming back something we rarely do when in a new place. The only thing I would change is to bribe the produce vendor to make sure they were brought fresh tomatoes daily. That's the only negative the tomatoes didn't have much flavor and it was because they were not quite ripe. There are lots of coffee and latte choices as well as choices of different drinks from the cooler. The final thing is Waconda Forever and the heart-shaped herb.

Beautiful place with great ambiance. Tried sweet crepe and savory crepe both tasted delicious. Cappuccino tasted very good too. Must TRY spot.

The matcha latte was quite good, super creamy though a tad too bitter. The ham and cheese crepe was tender and brimming with melty cheese, and thin, salty ham. If I'm being nitpicky, I would have liked it better if the crepe was slightly thinner and crisper. The space was lovely with high ceiling, swinging chairs, and many plants.

OMG I loved everything about this place. The food was outstanding - we had the honey truffle crepe and the matcha strawberry crepe and the cardamom rose latte. All perfectly prepared and beautiful. And the atmosphere was so calming with all the plants and the swinging chairs :)!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I was brought to The Crepe Shop, as crepes aren't usually my go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The shop has an cute vibe--perfect for bringing a book to read and is definitely instagramable with various plants hanging from the wall. As for the crepes, they were surprisingly enjoyable. I started with a classic Nutella Crepe, which was predictably fantastic (you can't go wrong with Nutella), and then ventured out of my comfort zone with a Lemon Curd Crepe. The lemon curd was, for me, surprisingly good--bright and tart.

A resturant specializing in crepes. They have an abundance of different kinds from savory to sweet with teas coffees and natural juices. The service was good with patience for first timers like us. I had the wildberry crepe my daughter the Nutella crepe both equally delicious. The setti g in medium loud open atmosphere. The cost us not bad I would say deff $$

Food is good and atmosphere is cute. Coffee is okay but presented well. For whatever reason yelp suggests this as a place that is good to work/study--I can tell you it is not. They have a STRICT screen free policy of no laptops or iPads. I came here to get work done while having lunch but was unable. I blame yelp for that as this was one of the first to pop up when I searched cafes to study. The other thing that bothered me was that there were gnats flying around. It's the middle of winter...seemed odd. Overall I like the food and would come back with a friend.

Oh boy ! Plenty of crepes for all tastes here. Sweet or savory. I went with the Matcha Made in Heaven.....Marscipone, Matcha, pistachios. It was slightly sweet - not too much. And that was what made it so good. Lots of different lattes available - I just did drip coffee. THe room is very girly and pretty. Feels like you are inside someone's she-shed. Service was friendly. I'd go back for that crepe anytime.

This place is the PERFECT one to go to for a Sunday brunch! I had a BEAUTIFUL brunch with friends at The Crepe Shop and it is one of my favorite places in Chicago - I'm so happy we were able to go again! My absolute FAV thing I've ever had from here is the honey truffle crepe - it is to die for!! Some of the other favorites from this meal were the lox crepe, ham and cheese crepe, lemon curd crepe, and the french lavender latte. When you order, it's at a walk up counter (and then you grab your crepe when it's ready). The interior design is soooo cute (complete with hanging chairs and so many plants everywhere!). I cannot wait to go back!

Happened to be in the neighborhood and realized I was hungry. Yelped what was nearby and found the Crepe Shop, which was an amazing find! Relatively inexpensive and such a nice ambiance. I ordered the Turkey Spinach crepe and thought it was really tasty and savory. The caramelized onions was really good. Definitely want to come back here and try more crepes!!!

We are here to meet my daughter's friend at The Crepe Shop. Nice shop in Chicago. I ordered Butter me up sugar crepe with strawberries and bananas. Daughter ordered cheese crepe with latte. Friend ordered Nutella with strawberries crepe with latte too. Crepe is so good and fresh fruits. Atmosphere here wonderful

Good spot in LV for a unique item, crepes. Some savory some sweet and prepared well with nice presentations. I had the chicken pesto with a fried egg. Great coffees and teas. Cool vibe and seating. Good friendly service.

Such a lovely, bright space and the BEST crepes we've had EVER! We had the Ham & Cheese, Lox, Honey Truffle, Nutella and Butter Me Up Sugar. Their lattes -- beautifully presented and so, so good! Super nice, welcoming staff. Love, love the No Screen Policy! It's on our list of places to visit when we're back in Chicago.

Such a cute crepe spot in Chicago. The crepes are not only beautiful to look at but also satiating to eat. Definitely more fast-casual. You order at the front and then look for a seat to eat if you're dining in. I got the honey butter truffle crepe and added an egg on top. Love the plants and natural lighting too.

The crêpe here are amazing. With that said there are some issues the affogato that we got was only saved by the custard the shot was super bitter. The atmosphere was quite welcoming and this was a screen free café so you didn't have a bunch of people working on computers which was nice. They they did have one plant that got in the way when putting away the dishes. Definitely we come here for the crêpes

Wonderful crepes. The wild berry cheese cake hit the spot and the honey truffle was on point. Everything I hoped for in the flavors was there! Coffee was great and not burnt like some places. Very fresh. Great vibe!

This place does what it intends to do and that is make crepes. The crepe was good, albeit just sugar, butter & strawberries. The decor is cute & it seems to be a nice place to sit outside. It's right on Broadway & all in all it was a good place!

This place is great! My daughter and I were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in. It is a cozy space with lots of plants, the vibe is relaxed. My daughter ordered the Lemon Curd Crepe and I ordered the Ham & Swiss. Both were delicious! Service was pleasant and professional. I can't wait for my next visit.

MY #1 CREPE SPOT IN THE CITY I can't even describe how delicious they make crepes here. It's soft and pillowy and never egg-y. I've only tried sweet crepes from this place but honestly that's my preference with crepes. If you like matcha, do yourself and favor and experience the heaven that is the matcha crepe. If you like sweet latte you must also try the Nutella latte. I'm salivating thinking about them ...

Love the ambiance and lattes here a lot! This was my 2nd time here and the French lavender latte with oat milk was so delicious and gave me enough caffeine for the rest of the night. The barista recommended me the lavender latte and the Island Caramel so next time Ill try it. After finishing the drink, he dropped it off at my table. Also love the plants and the greenery that decorates this place! Will be coming back to get crepes and more lattes with friends!

I recently visited the Crepe Shop and was blown away by the experience. The matcha crepe and Belgium coffee I ordered were absolutely amazing. The crepe was cooked to perfection and the matcha flavor was spot on. The coffee was one of the best I've had in a long time. I can also honestly say that it was the best crepe I have ever had in my life. I'm already planning my next visit and can't wait to bring every one i know! The ambiance of the shop was so chill and relaxing. I really appreciated the fact that they don't allow screens, it really adds to the authentic vibe of the place. The guy who took our order was so patient and kind, he really made the experience even better. Overall, it was a lovely experience that I'll never forget. I highly recommend the Crepe Shop to anyone looking for a great crepe in a cool atmosphere.

As soon as I finished my visit to the Crepe Shop, a plot was already hatching about the return. Not if, but when. I ordered the Biscoff crepe with a Chai Latte and they were both outstanding. Neither was too sweet and all of the flavors shined through. Since I stopped by near the end of the day, there were some stock-outs on menu items and the staff was friendly while recommending other items. A gem in Lakeview- 10/10!

If you ask me, I just love the spot so much!! Their crepes are excellent!! I am a big fan of their biscoff crepe as I love Biscoff:) The ambience is super pretty! Gives you a different vibe as a whole! Usually it gets packed on a weekend but weekdays, it's usually quiet! Definitely try them out if you're in Lakeview! Won't regret!

The interior design at The Crepe Shop is so stunning--it's very spacious with large and lush greenery throughout. As for the food, the savory crepes were decent but not outstanding. The turkey & spinach tasted a bit bland, and the honey truffle was overly sweet. However, we found the drinks more enjoyable, especially the cardamom rose latte.

We were wanting to try somewhere new in Lakeview and this place is so cute. We got a sweet option (lemon curd crepe) and a savory option (Turkey spinach crepe), along with a French lavender latte and cardamom rose latte. The menu has so many delicious options to pick from it was hard to choose! The portion is a great size, and the spinach Turkey was stuffed full with Turkey, spinach, onions and a delicious sauce. You order at the counter and then pick up your food when it's ready, and the staff is really friendly. The ambiance of the place is amazing, it's bright and open with plants everywhere, and has a cute eclectic boho feel to it. The bathroom was clean and had funny signs. Also they have picnic tables out front for the summer months!! Would def come back.

Excellent food. Tried the 1) honey truffle and 2) pumpkin crepes. Both tasted wonderful. The honey truffle had a small "crunch" in the filling that added to experience. Large portions, we took almost half of each crepe home. They also make an excellent pour-over coffee. Great experience! Highly recommend.

Broadway, near Diversey has many restaurants and watering holes. Nestled in all that choice is The Crepe Shop. Walking in is a wonderful transition to a green conservatory that is quiet. It was a refreshing change. It is self serve with sweet and savory crepes. I ordered the chicken, spinach and cheese. They serve the crepe folded into a quarter circle. The presentation was great and the flavor was spot on. This creperie is a good addition.

Can't stop talking about the ambiance I don't even know if I'll ever get to the food. They must have a master gardener cos the plants are beautiful and healthy. I digress but just go there to look for yourself. Food is pretty amazing too. Matcha Made in Heaven crepes(cold) were delicious so were Nutella banana ones (warm). Quick, friendly service. I stumbled into The Crepe Shop for the first time last year after having Crisp which is just a few doors down (highly recommend). Honestly I just wanted some dessert after fried chicken and crepes sounded nice so I was like why not. Little did I know I stumbled into what would become one of my favorite spots in Chicago! The vibes here are just immaculate. Plants everywhere, people chatting and sipping their coffee, and lots of crepes. If I am in the Lakeview area, I will always try to squeeze in a visit here! I love that they have both sweet and savory crepes and one of my personal goals is to try all of them eventually. So far, I've had the matcha crepe, the lemon curd crepe, the berry cheesecake crepe, and the ham and cheese crepe. The crepes are perfect every time I've had them: a thin layer of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. My favorite flavor so far has to be the berry cheesecake, it's just so fresh but comforting at the same time! Their lattes are large and the flavors are unique and delicious. Prices are quite reasonable for Chicago and their portion sizes. Parking is quite difficult in the area but well worth the trouble. Highly recommend! Came here after my long run and it hit the spot!!! There's a variety of sweet and savory crepe options to choose from and I opted for the wild berry cheesecake and chicken pesto crepe. 5/5 for ambiance, portion size, and flavor! I'm already thinking of what other flavors I want to try the next time I come back here! It's a great spot for brunch and there are plenty of coffee options as well.

Can never go wrong with any sweet crepe they offer. My favorite has to be the WildBerry Cheesecake with Nutella on the side. Can get very busy (especially the weekends) but definitely worth the wait! They also extended their hours till 9PM so you can grab a dessert before going home for the night!

I stopped in at The Crepe Shop with a friend for a small bite. We met up for coffee earlier that morning and were looking for a spot to migrate to next. This spot was along our walking route on Broadway, and was the perfect place to continue our Saturday morning catch up. We ordered a Fromage à Trois (savory crêpe) to share. The menu description is: "fontina, mozzarella mornay sauce, parmesan crust." The Parmesan crust added a chewier texture than your normal soft crepe - I don't make crêpes often (actually not at all). But IF I did, I would totally make it with a parmesan crust. It's a game-changer. I loved how this spot was fast casual. We ordered at the counter and didn't have to wait for a table (even on a Saturday around noon). The interior was filled with palm fronds and planters on the walls; it felt like a plant shop turned into a modern-minimalist restaurant. There is seating both indoors and outside. I'm glad I got to try this little crêperie in East Lakeview. There are so many little gems and this is definitely a worthwhile spot to make a stop at while bopping around the neighborhood.

The crepes here are beyond delicious! We inhaled our crepes in minutes and would definitely come back for more. Easily my favorite crepe shop in the city. The shop can fit different party sizes. There's a large table in the back that can easily fit a group of 10, yet still provides enough intimacy for a brunch date. The island caramel latte was a bit too sweet to my liking

Came back 4 years later and the interior has changed so much! Great to see they expanded their space and have way more seating. My friend and I ordered 2 cardamom rose lattes and a butter me up sugar crepe. We waited for a table (maybe 5 min at most) and our order came another 5 min after that. The cardamom rose latte was amazing. The cardamom flavor is definitely present but not overpowering. I'll be back for this! The crepe tastes the same as it did 4 years ago so I'm glad they are consistent! I could eat like 5 of these, no joke.

My best friend and I stopped here for breakfast earlier this week and absolutely loved it. We couldn't get over the decor and how aesthetically pleasing everything was. The shop was a vibe itself! Very instaworthy and adorable coffee crepe spot that is pretty busy but a fast moving line! The employees were so sweet and all genuinely happy. We both ordered a cold brew and ham and cheese crepe with an added egg on top. We were given a designated table and a beeper. They delivered the coffee to our table but we have to pick up our food when the beeper goes off. I viewed pictures of the crepes on Yelp, but was honestly not expecting it to be so big. It was HUGE and very filling. The ham and cheese was so delicious as heavy on the cheese that neither of us could finish it. The egg was a great touch but because it was so filling maybe I would skip the egg next time. Generous with all the portions inside. The coffee also gets a 10/10. We both agreed that next time we will get one savory and one sweet then split!

I had The Crepe Shop bookmarked for six months and was excited to finally visit. The space itself is beautiful and fun, filled with lots of natural lights and plants (but there is a no laptop policy). We ordered the lemon crepe and the honey truffle crepe. Unfortunately here's where the experience disappointed - the dough of the crepe itself was too soft, thick and chewy, almost getting to a mochi texture instead of that perfect balance between thin but not hard crepes that you'd find in Paris (although the edges here almost had me fooled that the whole crepe would be the right texture). On the bright side, the toppings/fillings themselves were tasty. So if you imagine you're having a sweet or savory dish that isn't quite a crepe or a pancake, this will be a good option - but if you're looking for a French crepe, this is probably not the place.

Once again, I found myself at The Crepe Shop today, and as always, it was a delightful experience. Their crepes are always so yummy. And their matcha latte? Wow, the best in town! The crepes had a mix of flavors and textures that were just right. It's like a familiar taste of goodness every time. Also, ambiance is so cozy But the real star is their matcha latte. So smooth and rich ! The team at The Crepe Shop also deserves applause. Their warmth and friendliness make each visit an even more pleasurable experience. If you're looking for a place with great crepes and the tastiest coffee, definitely give this spot a try.

Amazing spot for crepes! Great date spot, went here with my girlfriend. Presentation of the food is amazing as seen in the picture. Atmosphere is a jungle vibe very good for picture taking. Space was not too loud, very easy to sit and talk. Self-service with extremely friendly staff. Order at the front, you are given a buzzer to know when food is ready to pick up at the counter. 10/10 would eat again!

First and foremost, beautiful shop. The plethora of plants and earth tones throughout invite a relaxed vibe. As for the crepes - pretty good! The menu isn't expansive, but they do have savory and sweet offerings, and a few savory crepes that are vegetarian. I've ordered the Fromage a Trois (savory) and Matcha Made in Heaven (sweet) crepes, and the sweet one is a clear favorite for me. Not that the savory one wasn't good, but it was a tad salty to my liking once it cooled down. The matcha crepe was filling yet light, which I found to be an impressive combination, haha. If anything else, the seating alone will beckon you to at least grab a latte. P.S. no laptops or iPads are allowed!

Huzzah! Perfect crepes, sweet or savory, that aren't too pricey and we've tried almost everything on the menu and LOVED them all! The berry and cheesecake is my favorite sweet crepe, with the ham and cheese being my favorite savory crepe. Side note: the owners and everyone we've dealt with their are SOOO lovely, they always make every customer feel welcome and I gotta say, these are the loveliest crepes I've had since an actual Parisian made them for me, lol. Trust me, you'll love it all!

Came here for dinner today and loved it! I've been meaning to come in here for months and am glad I finally stopped by. The restaurant has plenty of seating and great hours, accommodating breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered the Lox crepe , and it was fantastic. It comes with salmon, herb cream cheese, onions, capers, and lemon. Every bite was delicious! That crepe cost $13, and for the quality, it was worth every penny. I can't wait to come back and try more! Their menu has both savory and sweet crepe options, which all look great.

The crepe was so thick, I can only assume it was intended to hide how little filling was in it. And bland. And they expect tips but there is no service, you pick up everything yourself and bus your own table. Yet another place relying on their decor to distract us. Judging by the other reviews it seems to be working for them. I'm over it.

Best crepes I've had in Chicago for the past 10 years. Savory and sweet. The fillings are generous and tasty. Coffee is something to come back for as well. Been there 3 times so far. Will go again!

I dream about the matcha crepe at this place. I love how it is filled with strawberries and a matcha cream. If you love matcha, this is the crepe for you because they definitely do not skimp out on the matcha flavor. I love a strong matcha crepe and this place makes it perfect!!
