Had a great time. The Nicotine Dolls are amazing. Drinks were alright.... Didn't have grenadeNor rose's lime juice for basic drinks, so eh... But I wasn't there for drinks. We didn't order food but the food that arrived for guests around us, looked and smelled amazing. The opening act Wic Whitney was very good as well!!!

An awesome venue!! I love an intimate venue and this one checks out. We got food at the bar beforehand and all enjoyed, great portions for very reasonable prices. The bathrooms were easily accessible, clean and none of us had to wait in a line which is great. We parked less than a block away in a pay-to-park lot and there were plenty of spots to choose from. We saw Caleb & Reeb and Nick Shoulders - it was really great show. After the concert, we felt safe walking to our car after the show due to the proximity but also the restaurants and street traffic kept it alive. Our friends who we went with said they've been coming to the crocodile their whole lives and love it, it's safe to say we share the same sentiment!

An absolute classic venue in Seattle. The Croc has history, great sound, and the perfect atmosphere for live music. The space feels intimate but still big enough to bring energy when the crowd gets going. Staff are professional, drinks are solid, and the lineup always pulls in good artists. Whether you’re seeing a local band or a touring act, it’s one of the best places in the city to catch a show.

We had a great stay, room was clean and quiet, check in was easy. We also attended the Lily Rose concert and it was awesome.

My friend and I stayed for two nights and we were thrilled with our choice of hotel. We are both mothers that are past the “night life” stage of our lives and we were pleased that the noise level was never a concern. Although, ear plugs are left in the rooms and available at the desk. My friend accidentally left her Kindle behind when we checked out and Brooke was very helpful with making sure that we got that back into our possession before my friend caught her flight home. The location of the hotel was also within walking distance from all of the attractions that we were drawn to, but Ubers were also quick to get us when we didn’t feel like walking anymore. We would gladly stay here again!

Had a great first visit to the crocodile. It wasn't too crowded, the lines weren't bad and we enjoyed the food and drink selections. Sounds quality was good and staff was friendly. Couldn't ask for anything else!

Came here for a concert - The sons of the east and its a great venue. Lots of drink options available. Tons of places to eat at nearby.

The Crocodile is cozy. Nearly too small! Never got to ‘fully’ experience the original location. This was a good introduction to this version of the Crocodile. I’ll be back…

Came here for a concert and overall the experience was ok! It's a smaller more intimate venue but I found the acoustics to be really loud. Loud as in hard to hear the singing/rapping and at times wishing I had brought ear plugs. Security check-in was simple and quick. They have a bar area with seating before entering the main music venue and also another bar inside as well. Looks like for the show I was at, it was standing room only.

If you're a music fan and in Seattle, you have to see a show at the Croc. This isn't the original location, but the history carries over with this new location. Don't be concerned about standing for a show. It's big enough hear that you don't feel cramped and easy to get to the bar or get some food.

Came for The Ravonettes and had almost any option to stand where we wanted. Great scene and good drinks. Clean bathrooms. Loved this unique location while visiting Seattle. I'd love to be a local around here. Entry was easy and bar service was friendly. Loved the Jack Coke and grenadine on the menu

We came here for a comedy show on a Sunday night. There are three separate venues here, and we were in the Crocodile itself. There was a line around the corner and everyone was going through security. I thought the whole process was very efficient. Someone came by to scan your tickets, and then the instructions for the metal detector were clear. Once inside, I thought the size of the place was perfect, not too big, and not too small. There is not a bad seat in the house, however, if you get a seat. This was a general admission show, but I assumed everyone got a seat. Turns out this wasn't the case and there were quite a few people who had to stand. The bar area in the back never had a long line and there was a water jug on the side that was self serve, using those cone cups you get at the dentist's office. A few more chairs and this would have been a higher star rating.

What a magical experience! Went to this venue with a college buddy to see the ledgendary Nahko and Medicine for the people. Venue is very clean, the acoustics were amazing, and the food was tasty! They have plenty of restrooms and a nice size bar. Would recommend hitting this place up for a fun night out!!

This venue is constantly oversold which creates an unsafe environment for showgoers. Too bad, because they book decent shows. Wish they valued the safety of their patrons over a few extra bucks.

Great local venue. The staff was all super friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure everyone had a great time. The sound was great, and the bar was well stocked and fair priced. This venue also has a hotel. We opted to stay the night at the hotel and were definitely not disappointed. Very reasonably priced and a great chic room that was super cozy and comfortable. Check is more like an Air BnB than a hotel which was actually not a bad thing. Your room code gets you in the locked front door. There are two flights of stairs to climb to get to the lobby which is a bar, although it wasn't staffed late when we were there. In the morning was way better quality coffee than a normal hotel would offer (Vita I think). Parking was available all night across the street for $25. I had to move the car to street parking at 0800, but that was only $4 until noon (check out). Parking was available at 1700 when we showed up. Overall a great experience. Wasn't sure what we were getting into, but will definitely come back. It was so nice to just walk upstairs to our room after the show. Don't sleep on this place! Sleep at it... just not on it.

I was able to experience the Croc on a whole new level recently. Although my brother and i grew up going to shows at the original location, I had the pleasure of working with the staff at the Croc to put on a private memorial event in the new space a few weeks ago. It was awesome. From the moment of first contact I knew this was the venue for us. I was looking into other iconic Seattle music venues to host my event, but ended up choosing the Croc because of the great initial communication with the event coordinator. They had an option for anything we wanted. The day of the event was so great. Val, and the staff were so so so wonderful. They literally took so much pressure off my shoulders and took on the sound check and set up with ease. They had anything and everything we were in need of for our non traditional memorial and were able to accommodate and coordinate anything and everything we needed. Although the day itself for me was very sad, it was such an honor to have the Crocodile staff there to help me and my family celebrate my Brother's love of local music in such a special way. Y'all really made it great. Thank you Crocodile!

This is the worst place I have ever come across in Seattle ever. I would never go back to this place and do not recommend to anyone. The bouncers outside are the most power thirsty humans ever with no decency to talk or treat people. I don't know why are they so frustrated with their own jobs or lives. The drinks aren't that great and neither is the service. They host Bollywood parties here often and I guess I am never attending any more in the future. WORST!!

I was with friends and we got escorted out because a girl I just met took a shooter in the bar. I bought 6 tickets to the concert and had to leave 20 minutes before the show. Then we went back to our room that was in the hotel and got told we had to leave without a refund. I do not recommend this place or the hotel. The hotel was disgusting had roaches. The lady was super rude when I tried explaining my situation. She didn't want to hear it at all. I couldn't get a refund. Then she also charged me an additional 100$ on the room. For "damage" but couldn't tell me what was damaged or show proof. When I asked to see proof I never got a response. On top of that 215$ I paid to stay there, and couldn't stay there. So basically was robbed of 500$. If I could I would give no stars.

Great venue! Great security for the concert we went to! Liked it was smaller because I don't like crowds that much! Bartenders were amazing!

Worst venue for shows. If you have any disability that requires sitting or visibility, you're SOL. They can bring you stools to sit on or wheel you to the corner, but you can't see anything. The stage is low, so GA has limited visibility if you're under 5'-10". Absolutely no seating except in the enclosed bar (no stage view). I usually avoid this venue, and after the Senses Fail show where me and my guest were in pain from standing on concrete with no aid (injuries and disabilities) and no view of the show, I won't ever attend here again. Very disappointed.

Horrible staff for dimelo event, unprofessional securities, and they all lack knowledge. They were disrespectful, restrooms were disgusting, bad drinks, and the the lady allowing people to enter and giving tickets was extremely rude and and unprofessional

I've seen some of my all time favorite shows at The Crocodile. Nestled in Bell Town lives one of the few preeminent grunge venues left Seattle that still showcases live music today. The ability to showcase a major band to a small local upstart artist makes this venue extraordinary in my opinion. Having been fortunate enough to soak in bands like Cheap Trick with Pearl Jam opening, Allen Stone ( Local Hero & now National Touring act ) and The Beastie Boys I can say I've enjoyed many shows and many brewskis in the back room. Oddly enough I've never had the pizza while attending a show. How can that be I love pizza , don't you all? Let me know if it's worth having. Anyways no matter where your at your so close to the artist you could literally grab onto there leg for dear life but someone in a black shirt with security may stomp your guts out. Probably your guts are ok but 50/50 you may get escorted out of the venue. Take my word if you wanna see live music in intimate environment this is the place for you! Enjoy LIVE MUSIC!

I am here to see a show. There is no seating it is just a bar and too many people. I hate places like this.

First time coming to this place, but would definitely go again. Great live music and themed night, with an amazing atmosphere, good food and excellent drinks. My sister and I went here for my Twenty-ninth birthday last night and both of us had a blast. The venue was amazing and their Themed 80's night (featuring Nite Wave and Jane Weidlen of The Go-Go's) was amazing. As well as the venue and live music, the staff are excellent, very kind, and they know how to keep the vibe going and how to perform their jobs. Kevin, the bartender, was magnificent at his job, having a full bar, but capably managing it, and he made the night a lot better. The drinks (my sister ordered the Under the Sun and I ordered the Killer Queen) were made perfectly and tasted magnificent. As well as the drinks, the food was delicious and well priced. All in all an amazing experience, at an equally amazing place. Definitely recommend it, and will be going back soon.

Best venue, new location. I greatly miss the original spot and the more divey vibes, the bar is also a bit smaller, but still fun. More food options than before. The cocktails are soooo good!

BEWARE of these CROOKS. Sadly I can't give them zero stars, because that's what they deserve. This place is a scam and it's best to avoid it. On Saturday night, 4/15, my friends and I went to the crocodile and paid the $22.00 cover per person to get into the club. (4 @$22 = $88). After paying our cover, their rude, unprofessional, and power tripping bouncer decided that my friend "had to much to drink" to be allowed into the club, even though he did nothing to her to make such an assessment. She based her decision not to allow us into the club solely on the fact my friend was holding an empty cup that once had some whiskey and coke in it; she didn't see any behavior or actions from from any of us to indicate that we were the least bit intoxicated, this was just the bouncer on a power trip over him having an empty cup that once has whiskey in it. She then told us that we could go elsewhere for an hour and then come back and she would then allow us into the venue. This was at 12:20 am so we told her no, that was not going to work for us, we were not interested in paying a total of $88 dollars to get into their club at 1:20 am when they close at 2:00 am. She knew this. My guess is that they were probably over the legal limit of occupancy so that was why she denied us entry. They then refused to refund my friend the $88 cover he paid for us to get into the club. I have no problem with them saying that we were not allowed into their club, I understand that is within their rights, however taking money for a cover and not allowing a person into the club is theft. Let's call it what it is. I realize their might be a good band playing here that you want to go see, I get that and if so that's cool if you go, just expect rudeness from their staff and bouncers. (Read the other reviews). Also be cheap with your tips or don't even bother leaving one, lastly please don't feel bad about helping karma out, as they are willing to ripoff their customers and you might be next one they screw, so go if you must go to see that band, just adjust your behavior and expectations accordingly.

Love the location, easy parking, adjacent to delicious foods and bevs! Also friendly & knowledgeable staff. We were here for Collide-o-scope!

Wow!! I love as worried I would miss the old historic sight but the new venue is incredible! Cannot wait to see a other show !

Really fun venue. Went to a show on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the vibe. They even had non alcoholic beer which was great.

The Crocodile is located in the downtown Seattle neighborhood of Belltown. I would say it's divey in the best way. The bathrooms split the venue between the main performing area and the back bar. There's a special section for those under 21 that is off of the bathroom area. You'll be ID'd going into the main performing area due to the bar. Actually, you'll be ID'd at the entrance and then given a stamp on the wrist of over 21. You're not far from the stage no matter where you're at except of course if you're in the back bar. The great thing about the crocodile is this intimacy, relative in-expense of tickets and great choice of performing bands. A number of bands have gone from here to play the biggest music festivals. This is a great place to see up and coming bands without breaking the bank.

The Hotel is worth the stay if your going there for a concert you don't want too drive home spend the dough and stay a night . We parked in a nearby overnight lot for $25 and a short walk we arrived at the wonderful little unique hotel. Beautiful decorations though I doubt the fan in our room was cleaned in the last year . The dust on top looked about an inch thick . The rest of the room was a 4 star . Bed was very comfortable bathrooms had heated floors . The venue was fun but don't bother getting a cocktail they are so overpriced in their Dixie cup 4 oz glasses . The sticker shock for 2 sex on the beach $32 holy shizzle ! In shot glasses no less ! Well I guess not everything can be 4 stars

It's taken me a while to write this review as it was quite upsetting at the time. I saw a show here with my sister in early 2019. We both have disabilities that prevent us from standing for long periods of time. We normally avoid GA concerts for this reason; however the artist we saw is a favorite of ours and we didn't want to miss this show. As soon as we got the tickets I emailed and asked about ADA accommodations, seating, and what to do when we arrived. Between the two of us we sent many emails and received a reply to only 2 of those. (They were sent over a few months, because we kept getting no reply.) The responses we got told us to just let security know and they would help us when we got there. The day of the show comes, we line up at a time about a 30mins before we were told doors were going to open. Doors open more than an hour - hour and a half later. By the time security came around we were in quite a lot of pain. I let them know about it and they told me to just tell them at the door. (They don't bag check at all, which honestly is a little nerve wrecking in our times.) We asked security at the door, and were quickly ushered to the very back corner of the venue and set up on high bar stools with no backs. They seemed confused and unprepared on trying to get us situated. We weren't allowed up on the balcony (which I understand) due to my sister being underage at the time. I watched as the people that were around us in line headed to the front of the venue and got great spots. Whoever set us up on the chairs told us that we 'needed to be out of the way' so we 'didn't disturb' others; which honestly was pretty upsetting. I don't think you should tell people with disabilities that they should be out of the way for others? I don't think bar stools are very accessible either. Both of us are short so we saw very little of the show from the very back wall. On the positive, the sound was good, and the artist we saw was great. Overall, I wouldn't recommend unless you are able bodied, or disabled and your group is over 21 for the balcony.

The rules at this establishment are incredibly strict for ticket buyers and concerts always end earlier than any other venue. And the bouncers outside are power trippers and incredibly unprofessional. Makes me ashamed to live in Seattle. I will never be back again.

Ok... so I'm a Seattle tourist and know nothing of the history of the Crocodile. We happened to be walking by during our happy hour bar hop and the name seemed familiar (and pretty cool) to me so we decided to walk in. Great decision! There wasn't a cover charge just a bouncer at the door. As we were getting a couple drinks a band was setting up to play. It wasn't too crowded yet so we were able to score some bench seating to the left of the room (which afforded us with space when the room actually did fill up.) It's a small, intimate venue but the views from even the back of the room were great. Definitely glad we came in and had a great time here.

The Crocodile is more of a dive bar with a small stage that ~150 people can smash into standing up with the other half of the establishment serving pizza. Think El Corazon with a bit more standing room. Great place to see a band up close and personal. Lighting needed help; put the band we saw in the dark a few times, the singer cursed them out. Sound was good. No TV's or other AV but not needed, such a small space. Purchasing tickets online gave us the option of checking in at the will call window for no extra fee, which was nice. Sketchy parking lot nearby. Better to park a few blocks away, grab an Uber or public transportation.

Dope venue. Super small/intimate while still having a big band feel. Kind of like a mini neumos. Clean bathrooms, reasonably priced drinks, and they had a delicious cocktail with blueberry Red Bull mixed with lemon deep eddy. There's even a pizza joint attached!

BOUNCER ASSAULTS PATRON FOR NO GOOD REASON, WHAT A CROC!!" Never left a negative review in my life, but I witnessed something unbelievable the other night. A minute or two after the last song of 'the last internationales' set ended, a great night of music was over. As folks made their way from the stage to the adjacent bar, I was near the front door waiting for my wife to use the restroom. I noticed a man was pleading with the bouncer to let him re-enter to find his wife, to no avail. I felt for him because the concert from start to finish was DANGEROUSLY overpacked and concerts and night clubs are scary places nowadays. What continues to make zero sense to me is that he had bought a ticket, and his hand was stamped for re-entry. Yet the bouncer not only denied re-entry, he was rude and eventually child-like in his responses.. purposefully interrupting him repeatedly by shouting loudly Clearly frustrated and surely embarrassed (at least I would have been)the patron finally gave up, turned around and walked toward the open section of the bar. I was absolutely gob-smacked by the bouncer's next move. His eyes lit up and the look on his face was that of an uncontrollable rage. He began to give chase to the unsuspecting patron, pushing and shoving his way past the crowded bar, spilling more than one drink and causing at least one young girl to an injured leg or foot (duno if he stepped on her foot or what, but in the haste of his important mission, he didn't even acknowledge her) Finally, the well-built 220-250 lbs bouncer wrapped both of his arms around the man's neck in what the mma-world calls a rear-naked choke. Also known to WWF wrestlers, and fans of Brutus 'the barber' Beefcake, as 'the sleeper hold.' The bouncer proceeded to drag the patron, by his neck, out the front door, and shoved him toward the wood or perhaps metal fencing that separates the smoking area from the sidewalk. Thank god, the 140 or 150 lbs man was barely able to keep his balance, or this could have been more horrific than it already was. I overheard a woman ask the bouncer why he did what he did, to which the bouncer replied proudly, "because he called me a piece of shit," and "because I can." I didnt hear the 'piece of shit' comment that the bouncer claimed the patron made. But, does it really matter what the man said? I began to wonder, over the last 24 hours, whether bouncers have some legal right to act like this. So i looked it up, and was not surprised to find that bouncer's and security guards have no right, under ANY circumstances, to put their hands on anyone UNLESS they are being threatened, or physically attacked. Not only can I vouch for the fact that didn't occur, but i caught almost the entire ordeal on video, thanks to my new iPhone. Throughout the encounter, the patron never threatened the bouncer, nor did he seem overtly mad or defiant at any time. The bouncer never once requested that the patron leave the premises. And finally, when the bouncer assaulted him, the victim did not even attempt to resist being manhandled. In fact, the video shows the victim's face bright red, clearly gasping for breath as he was literally drug by his neck out of the crocodile. Moments following the choke-and-drag-occurred, the victim was understandably in disbelief of what had happened but in surprisingly good spirits. When I asked him if he was ok, he explained that he had a bit of a kink in his neck, but that he was just upset that he didn't get to say 'hi' to his friends in the band. His shirt and pants were soaked. Apparently he had ordered an $18.00 margarita which he was now wearing in nearly its entirety thanks to the attack. The story ended somewhat happily, as his wife convinced the lead singer to come outside for a photo-opp. His lovely wife explained that The Last Internationale was 'their band' because the couple had actually met each other at their concert 6 years ago. I think they said it was their 6th time seeing the band in concert. They took pictures together and spoke for a moment before Delilah had to go back inside the crocodile. I told the couple that I had gotten most of the incident on video, but he was apparently not interested in seeking any recourse. They were very resilient in that, they weren't going to let a little thing like 'assault and battery' ruin date-night. Well, there was no way in hell I would've let it slide. And after contemplating whether I should post, I hope everyone reading can understand why I did.

I've been to a few shows at The Crocodile and each time has been fun and memorable. Located in Belltown, the concert venue is small, but is very much "Seattle". And I mean that in the most endearing way. The Crocodile has been around since the beginning of Seattle's grunge scene, showcasing local bands, like Nirvana. It's made an impact in our community for the better. The Crocodile is all ages. I have been to shows where hipster high school kids have been to and it's been, interesting. I've also been to shows where the patrons are dancing their asses off and that's always been a fun time. I like the bands that perform here, as I'm into more indie rock music, so I've been lucky enough to see some of my favorite bands perform here. The sound quality isn't the best, but it's decent. Stage is small and it's standing room only; yet, you can see the show from wherever you are, for the most part. There is also a balcony and an upstairs bar in that area, in addition to the main bar in the back of the room where the performance plays. Outdoor patio is open to patrons where the bouncer watches over. I like The Crocodile. Location is convenient, staff is friendly, and most of all, the venue space is what Seattle was and is all about. I'm a fan and will continue to see shows here, especially because the bands they get are more my cuppa tea.

This legendary place is still awesome! Music is perfect (90s grunge). It's good size and not crowded in the afternoon because then, you might not find a place to sit :) There's a second space with a bar. You can hear bands playing and get a quick tour where bands used for rehearsal. Cocktails are splendid!!!! They even have song's names :D The ambience is cool. They have band's special photos! The bartender lady is the best!!!! She explained a little history of the place, drinks, etc. Our experience there was great!!!!!

I like it. I miss the old croc but this will do. I've seen sGreat music to be had here.

The Croc is a Seattle classic. My mom always says this venue was way better 'back in the day' but it's remained quite cool. I came to see a show, but we got there early. We ordered pizza which was delicious and got a couple drinks. The drinks were less than I was expecting, $6 for a rum and coke or gin and tonic type drinks. They don't stir the drinks for you, so the top will be boozy unless you stick your finger in and stir it up. Unlike most venues, there's a high ceiling so it doesn't get too hot. It can get packed! It's dark but the space is easy to navigate despite that.

This is by far my favorite memory of my trip to Washington. I absolutely loved it! I took my grandparents, yes--I said grandparents, to go see Surf Curse. Dirt Buyer and Surf Curse did phenomenally. We had so much fun. The group we were around started a mosh pit! That place was lit. And the staff that work at the Crocodile are really kind. It was interesting how seriously they take their jobs. I was on the "dance floor" and the bouncer was on the other side of the railing watching the kids to make sure they weren't vaping or doing anything else again the rules inside. No one was doing anything they shouldn't have been. Something that my grandma really loved was that not every event was 21 and up. That the Crocodile is a place where young people can go to enjoy themselves and get out there. Where they can live a little and not be in the wrong place at the wrong time. And let me tell ya, those guys had so much fun. I definitely recommend stopping by at least once when you're in town. Experience it. Live a little.

Do not buy tickets for any artist you would like to see here. There is no hope to enter the venue unless you arrive unreasonably early, and they lie and scam their patron to try and extract every possible dollar out of them. Each person take over a minute to enter and they open their doors so that only 60 people max may enter before the show starts. The shows are extremely oversold and a refund is hopeless. Unless you want to just give up money for overpriced tickets on a show you will never see DO NOT BUY TICKETS TO THIS VENUE.

Our son and d'n'law took us out to The Crocodile for a show and drinks. I think I was the oldest one there. The venue seats maybe 75 people and the other 150 have to stand, to watch live stage entertainment. The show was 3 hours of rock music and I admit, I couldn't stand that long, so sat in the "Back Door Bar" area. The staff came over to me and asked if I was having fun, if I needed anything, could they find a chair in the show for me? I can't believe how nice and considerate they were. toward me (this ol' guy at a rock concert. The pizza was delicious. The well-drinks in the back-bar were only $4.50. Coke was $2 with refills. This place is awesome, they really know how to treat people right. I had a great time! AND... the entertainment is nationally known groups! I'm gonna sign up for their announcements...it's a "happenin' place"!

I'm basically a born and raised Seattlite and I've never been to The Crocodile (Say what?!). I finally went for a show and I definitely really enjoyed it. Before the show I ended up at the bar/restaurant side. The bartender let me know that the two bars aren't connected and I'd have to close out if I wanted to go to the stage size -- definitely glad that she gave me that info. This day and age I find that it's rare that a venue has disconnected bars; the Internet makes things so easy to link together! While I didn't eat the pizza here they have a wood fire oven and it smelled amazing! It seemed like a very popular place to chow down so I'm going to have to come back later to check that out. The stage area was nice. Large yet still intimate with a small balcony. The one thing I didn't like was that there was a weird little barrier between the right size and the main part. I was trying to get into the pit! On the plus size, it's small enough that even vertically challenged people like myself can get over very easily. I was also surprised that stage diving was allowed. Due to the "dangers" it seems like most places/bands don't allow it anymore. That barrier? It provides a great launching pad to get up on to the stage! Great experience here, looking forward to getting back into the concert scene!

Came here for an event- small bar that was packed full of people as expected. The crowd was not a problem, the service at the bar however was less than one star. To start, we ordered two mock tails that they offered on the menu. bartender seemed less than pleased and his vibe seemed annoyed after we ordered(not sure if it was due to it being a non alcohol beverage but the demeanor changed drastically after we placed our order). After we got our drinks we were asked to leave the bar area so our seats can be open for people to order. Would have been an understandable request due to the crowd except no other patrons were asked to leave their seats at the bar. Those who took our seats after we left were able to sit and enjoy their drinks (also mock tails) at the bar until the even started. We did not go back to get a drink to enjoy during the event as planned, but it wasn't needed as The event itself was amazing!

I was excited to book my tickets for ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead as they're an all time favorite that I last saw live 18 years ago. However, when researching the venue I was saddened to find on the FAQ section that the Ceocodile has no coat check area. A proper coat check is one of the shining pillars of polite society. That The Crocodile lacks one is most regrettable. Had they had one I surely would be leaving a 4 star review of what is otherwise a most satisfying venue. Other regrettable facets of this venue revolve mainly around their measly selection of beer and the fact that the ceiling is quite boring. Not to mention that the skylight leaks rain water. That's not good- there's probably a mold/mildew problem which is bad not only for structural integrity, but also for general health and welfare of employees and the visiting public.

We bought tickets to an event, and they wouldn't even let us in. We were sober, and nice, and the guy decides that we can't go in coz we are drunk. Dude, I mean, come on! Relax and chill for a second and talk to people before you decide shit. Omg! We are over 21, we didn't drink anything, we were nice. All, I did was ask if we could get drunk inside, and he got offended. Goddamn dude, take a chill pill, you are a freaking security guard, you have seen people mess for fun for a second, relax and try to confirm if they are messing with you or bring serious. We bought the tickets, before, so you win, but, f**k you dude!!

Went to the crocodile for Latin night on 2/11 with my friends for a night out. Venue was underwhelming and dirty. Bought our first round of drinks no problem, went upstairs and got another overpriced $15 drink that's lightly poured and was harassed by the bartender because my tip wasn't "good enough" was told by the bartender "I'm not pouring your ass a drink again if you're not going to add a good tip" I said "excuse me?" Because I was shocked, I thought I had misheard him, nope he responded with "you're lucky I don't take the one I just poured back." I was appalled. Long story short just save yourself some money and go over to Sarajevo for Latin night on Friday's, its much better.

-Bar/Restaurant- The pizza is great (made to order & wood fired), the drinks are reasonably priced, and the bar staff is very friendly! If you're limited on time before a show at the Crocodile, they offer a solid option to grab some food and drinks before the headliner goes on. -Venue- I've been to a handful of shows at the Crocodile, and it is one of my favorites when it comes to classic Seattle-style intimate dive venues. The staff is friendly all the way from the box office and security to the bar. The sound is good, and despite being a little packed based on who you're seeing, you'll still have some space to dance and move around. -Parking- You're probably best off grabbing an uber as Beltown is a busy area with plenty of late-night businesses all under residential buildings. I usually have some luck grabbing a spot a block or two north on 1st or 2nd. If you're anything like me, and much prefer seeing live music before artists blow up and require larger venues, you'll enjoy seeing your favorite artists at the Crocodile. Cheers!

Went to the crocodile last month for Dímelo and it was lit. So packed and the music was bumping however it was sooooo hot in there I was miserable and ready to go after 15 minutes. Really sad because I liked the vibe but don't think I'll be returning because it's just too hot I can't stand it ):

I'm dating myself, but I've been going to the Crocodile since Grunge was a still thing and I have to say things at the Crocodile are still the same, yet so much better. This is as historic a venue as there is in Seattle. The proof is on the walls in the amazing giant framed photos and posters from the many concerts over the years like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. However the sound was historically bad. During the renovation, they improved everything, including the sound system. Now the sound is great regardless of the genre. The venue is still small and intimate at around 500 person capacity. You can buy tickets for the shows at the box office or online. I like that the service fees online are much less than other venues. Just a couple bucks. There's a long bar area in the back of the floor and the back bar on the side of the venue. The back bar serves wood fired pizza that's pretty decent sober and pretty awesome drunk. They have those little curled cups of pepperoni that I love. Large high-back booths are great for privacy. All said, the Crocodile is one the finest places to see a concert in Seattle.

Classic Seattle small concert venue. It's almost like a college bar with a bigger stage for bands. That said, you are hard pressed to find a bad spot to watch a show even GA ones. Bar is quick, but limited on choices. You aren't going to find much top-shelf options, but dive bar menu certainly aligns with dive bar look and feel. I personally like the Showbox venues for my ideal concert spot, but Crocodile for catching bands starting to get some national following is a good time worth checking out. Bonus of lots of bars/restaurants in the immediate area for pre or post hangouts.
