The 17 Best Restaurants & Bars In Breckenridge, Colorado

"This cozy coffee spot should be your first stop on a lazy morning exploring the shops along Breckenridge’s Main Street district. Grab a rich mocha beside their fireplace, or try to grab a table so you can sit with a bagel sandwich and gameplan how many souvenir magnets you want to take home. Just know it can get pretty crowded here and seating is first come, first serve." - anne cruz

Great ready to stand in line! The Crown is busy & for a good reason. Lots of delicious options to choose from! We both got a bagel sandwich & I got an iced coffee. Service is a little bit slow, but that’s to be expected. Hop in line early!

Google
Great location to stop in on a cold winter day for some hot chocolate and coffee! Their everything latte with white and dark chocolate was delicious - both iced and hot drinks! Comfy seats and tables available. It was very busy when we walked in on a weekend but the baristas were so sweet!

Google
My visit to The Crown in Breckenridge was absolutely perfect! My friend ordered a double espresso while I opted for their Cubano latte, and we were both blown away by the quality. The espresso had that perfect rich crema and balanced flavor that coffee connoisseurs dream about. The Cubano latte was a revelation - perfect sweetness, velvety texture, and that distinctive flavor that makes it unique. You can tell they use quality beans and take their craft seriously. What made the experience even better was the friendly and attentive service. The staff was knowledgeable about their offerings and created a welcoming atmosphere that made us want to linger. Whether you're a local or just visiting Breckenridge, The Crown is a must-visit coffee destination. I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area!

Google
Royal Tiger burrito and Cubano Latte was delicious!!! Can't wait to come back...There is a back patio that most don't know about. Very nice place to relax and grab breakfast 😀 Staff is super friendly - dog friendly on the front and back patio areas.

Google
The vibes in here are immaculate. We stopped in around noon while wandering around town and actually ended up with some midday warm alcoholic drinks 🤭 the bartenders/baristas were very kind, and the atmosphere is fabulous. We didn’t have food but everything that came from the kitchen looked fabulous. All of our drinks were wonderful, as well. They have a surprisingly large selection of hot and cold alcoholic drinks, as well as just normal cafe drinks. The place was packed when we were there and it was nice to hang out and chat. Will come again, 100%!!

Google
Our first and will be our last experience at The Crown. It was the opposite of friendly and welcoming. This is our 2nd time visiting Breckenridge after 13 yrs and we were hoping to have more of a welcoming environment. The lady that took my order was not helpful at all, she seemed bothered by my presence and for asking for some good coffee/latte suggestions. Saw all the good reviews and was disappointed with ours. Oh well....

Google
Initially thought it was a cute coffee shop but they also have amazing food! Our group of 4 each got different sandwiches and they were delicious along with a Warm Apple Pie and Breckenridge Coffee…Yum!! Service was also stellar. Thank you for a great experience!

Google
Beautiful location. We had coffee and delicious breakfast burritos on the upstairs patio. Quick friendly service. The coffee mugs are heated so they don't cool your coffee!!!

Yelp
No qualms with The Crown from me! Came here for an afternoon pick-me-up and got a Cubano Latte which was quite tasty. My husband had a chai and said it hit the spot. We didn't get any food but the options looked good and they've also got boozey drinks if you're feeling spicy. Love that they have some cute locally made knick-knacks for sale - gives you something to look at while waiting for your order, too. Nice decor overall. Staff was friendly and there is a good amount of seating - both indoors and outside - with some variety. It can get pretty busy and if I remember correctly, some tables have a time limit. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
I really like The Crown because it goes beyond just your usual coffee shop experience; it is what I always envisioned I'd do if I had my own coffee shop. It is a warm, cozy space where you can hide from the cold and either order something sweet, a coffee, or, if you are so inclined, a beer or a glass of wine. I can't speak to the food here beyond the ice cream and baked goods which my kids love. It probably wouldn't be my go-to as a morning breakfast spot, but it is pretty perfect outside of that. Also, as a side note, they feature some great local artists on the walls, several of which are now hanging in our home.

Yelp
I was craving a nice afternoon dirty chai, and I came across The Crown on Yelp. Something about it called my name, like a voice in the back of my head telling me that I would be very happy if I went to The Crown. I'd like to give a high-five to that voice. I am extremely picky about my chai, and this chai was in the top 2 best chai's I've ever had. It was spicy but not overwhelming, and the espresso shot was strong enough to do its job but not to overtake the flavor of the chai. My family tried the Breckenridge coffee and the Irish coffee, and instantly fell in love. Day 2 we all ordered Breckenridge coffees and Tootsie rolls. Day 3 we ordered teas. Ginger peach, earl grey, and English breakfast. Each was incredible. We all left each visit to The Crown with exactly what we were dreaming about. Absolutely no complaints.

Yelp
The Cubano Latte was good. I expected a stronger coffee taste; deeper, richer, and fuller since that's what a Cuban coffee typically has. Great atmosphere inside and friendly staff.

Yelp
Went into The Crown while in Breck for a quick coffee and wow, it was slammed! This tells me good things for the next time I go back to visit. They have a huge selection of items to choose from such as coffee, hot boozy drinks, cocktails, breakfast, snacks and many nonalcoholic options. The coffee I ordered was pretty good and I'd definitely go back to try other menu items. It felt warm and cozy in there despite the business which was nice. 4 stars for now- will update once I go back for the full experience!

Yelp
We visited this place twice during our time in Breckenridge! The first time was a Friday, it was really busy and we took our drinks to go. The second time was a Sunday morning right at 9 am--with most folks heading to the slopes we were able to get a seat and enjoy the adorable holiday decor and cozy atmosphere. We didn't wait long at all in line. We placed our order and sat at a high top while it was prepared; we could easily see them working on it and enjoyed overhearing them discuss skiing/the general camaraderie. We also really appreciated that once they saw us sit down they gave us our drinks in cute cups without us having to ask. The coffee itself was good! Not the best we have ever had, but still really solid and reasonably priced especially for a downtown touristy area. My husband's cappuccino was insanely hot but that's better than too cold! My iced vanilla latte with almond milk was made well and not too sweet. We also grabbed some bagel sandwiches which were solid. Definitely recommend stopping by at non peak hours to enjoy the place.

Yelp
I loved the bagel, coffee was a bit strong for me. But amazing place and its proximity to downtown.
google avatar

Kristi M.

Yelp
Overall, if you need a quick coffee to keep your day going, this will do it for you. It's nothing special that will blow you away but it'll caffeinate you.

Ayden B.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best coffee/snack/light meal cafes in Breckenridge, I'd say neck and neck with Clint's. Lots to choose from, friendly staff, and a super chill seating environment. Come here instead of Starbucks.
google avatar

Linh N.

Yelp
Stopped by to try their cubano latte (espresso with cinnamon and raw sugar). The espresso wasn't that strong, I tasted more milk than coffee. Friendly service and the restaurant was pretty packed. The place has a nice vibe to it.
google avatar

Yelp
Good ambiance and hot food right off Main Street. The Crown js up the steps not on street level. I had one of the paninis and an almond cake pastry. My Panini was made well and everything was fresh. However, the almond cake was burnt and doused with artificial almond flavoring. I saw a lot of people sitting there, enjoying coffee and other drinks and overall good place to hang out.

Yelp
If you need a reviver after hitting the slops this is the place to be! They have fantastic sandwiches and soups here and each sandwich is loaded with toppings. The atmosphere in this place is always awesome- it has a calming and chill vibe and it is very cozy inside. Out back they also have a cute little patio where you can sit out in the spring and summer and they also serve a plethora of amazing lattes and alcoholic beverages. I've never had a bad experience here- best cafe in breck!
google avatar

Katie N.

Yelp
Delicious and filling sandwiches and very friendly staff. The outside seating area in the back is awesome!
google avatar

Abby W.

Yelp
I really wanted to come back here to try their hot boozy drinks as there were multiple on the menu that sounded amazing but sadly we ran out of time on our snowy weekend. I was able to get a hot chai in the morning though that was tasty but there was a long wait. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of if you're on a time crunch.

Yelp
Great coffee shop in Breckenridge! So cute inside and very good drinks and food. The golden latte is super good and big. Highly recommend. The raspberry alcoholic hot cocoa was really good as well. The cinnamon roll was good. Not great though. The bagel was quite delicious. The service was quick as well. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Savannah K.

Yelp
The crown is a great spot to stop for a coffee in Breck. A little less busy than some of the other coffee shops. They have both food and drinks but limited indoor seating.
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
The vanilla chai and SF caramel latte were very good! The croissant was amazing and fluffy. A little doughy but I like that. The bagels were good but expensive. The black coffee was good per my husband but we both tried the espresso and wow. Super burnt. Not edible at all. Unfortunately, we had to throw it away. The shop is small and cozy. The woman at the register wasn't the friendliest. Not sure if she just wasn't having a good day but any question or request felt like we were doing something wrong.
google avatar

Jenna L.

Yelp
Oh my, the best latte I've had in such a long time! This place is so vibey and the line was out the door to the stairs. I know why; they have the best coffee. I love that you can purchase reusable aluminum cups or Togo cups to bring back! Their food looked good too! The kids m&m ice cream was a big portion as well. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Michael F.

Yelp
I walk by this place all the time, never really paid attention even though it is right in the heart of downtown Breckenridge. Very busy with a casual atmosphere. Quick service and WiFi is available. But the important thing is, the coffee is great! Lots of sandwiches and burritos going out, so I will have to try those next time.
google avatar

Kit T.

Yelp
Food and drinks were good but they let half our party order food and then told the other half that the kitchen was closed so we then had to go to a second place to feed the rest of our group. Girls weren't nice about it.
google avatar

Helena Q.

Yelp
Peerless burrito and Watson everything bagel (each 13$+tax+tip) were solid. They were very busy and so forgot the tomato (the person before me ordered no tomato I think, and they got confused). But both were pretty tasty and satisfying, if on the smaller side. They had a lovely patio in the back as well!
google avatar

Traci M.

Yelp
We stopped here for late breakfast. The coffee was excellent- made by a local company. I had a burrito and my husband a bagel sandwich and they were both fresh and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. You can sit inside or out and the environment is confortable and relaxed.
google avatar

Keith F.

Yelp
After a long day of walking around we needed a little pick me up. We decided on The Crown. When you walk up the stairs you are greeted by some pleasant smells of what's inside. On our visit it was really busy. The line was quick moving but seating is limited so if you see a spot snag it! We wound up at a high top in the corner. There were playing some pretty mellow alternative mix music. The drinks came out pretty quick. I had a lavender London Fog. It was amazing! Creamy and not too sweet. I would certainly recommend it. I wish the mug was a little bit bigger. The food coming out looked pretty good. They also have boozy drinks and ice cream. If I was in town again I would stop by.
google avatar

Dmitry R.

Yelp
Came here for some breakfast. The Royal Burrito looked very enticing. The staff was very friendly and the food not expensive but fresh and delicious. Definitely great spot for breakfast.
google avatar

Gina K.

Yelp
What a little gem of a cafe in Breckenridge. I have been to a Breck many times but never stopped her until today. I just went in for a latte and relaxation. Apparently, The Crown has a following because it was busy at 9am on a Saturday in January. They have ice cream, sandwiches, coffee, hot chocolate, cider and my personal favorite, lattes. I will definitely be stopping by again next time I am visiting Breck.
google avatar

REN S.

Yelp
Great food and service. Friendly atmosphere. Seating and restroom could be a little better.
google avatar

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Great bagel sandwiches! We ate TJ ere before skiing one morning. Would definitely go back.
google avatar

Arion M.

Yelp
Simple menu but fairly tasty options! I got the Reliance burrito (egg, cheese & hash browns ) and it was good. I think it could have been seasoned more and maybe have a sauce inside the burrito but it was still good! I added ketchup, salt and pepper to increase the flavor! Good vibes, has a nice selection of alcoholic beverages and regular coffees/teas. Would come back again!
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
Coffee is good! Vibe is nice and cozy. The breakfast burrito with chorizo is very very good!!!
google avatar

Chelsyea M.

Yelp
Bomb hot chocolate. The best I have had in life! Pretty laid back environment and knowledgeable staff! Will be returning!
google avatar

Liane W.

Yelp
Cozy gathering spot for locals and guests alike! Snagged an arm chair by the fireplace and enjoyed an oat milk hazelnut latte, pork green chili (spicy and tasty!), and protein plate. Affordable lunch prices, $5 for the 1/2 order of chili and $7 for a 1/2 order of the protein plate. Warm and friendly staff and served my food with a smile!
google avatar

Pauline L.

Yelp
Always friendly and cozy atmosphere. Can't go wrong with a coffee or an adult beverage. Great place to hang out and kill time.
google avatar

Donna G.

Yelp
Great all day spot for a snack or full on meal. They do great breakfast sandwiches, bagels and coffees. I love the veggie sandwich, it's huge. Another plus is the location bang in center of town what're you can sit out front and watch all the busyness of people watching or sit out in the ample yard out back and enjoy the river view. All in all a great spot any time if the day
google avatar

Tori E.

Yelp
Really cute/quaint cafe with great coffee and a decent breakfast. We ordered the French bagel and the Royal Tiger burrito, and a French press coffee. The coffee was excellent! The bagel was okay - nothing memorable. The burrito was pretty good. Be sure to ask for a side of salsa with the burrito! The salsa is excellent. Ambiance: busy with limited seated, but cute. Price: a bit pricey but that's standard for Breckinridge. Service: You order at the counter, so there's no table service. The ladies behind the counter were nice enough. Overall, I'd recommend The Crown and would visit again.
google avatar

Aaron K.

Yelp
Our barista was excellent - could really tell he loved his job and working around people. The coffee was excellent as well.
google avatar

Savanna B.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! I stopped in last weekend while visiting Breckinridge and am so glad I did. The Crown will definitely be my go to coffee spot in Breck!! First of all, it's super cute (although a little cramped)! Everyone working the counter was really friendly. I was amazed at how reasonably priced it was- affrogados for $4?!? A child's scoop of ice cream for $2?!? I didn't try any of the food as we'd just eaten, but it looked really good. The coffee and ice cream were very good. They're also located next to a park, so it's a great place to stop in for a coffee or ice cream or snack before heading over so the kids can play.

Anthony J.

Yelp
We're from Florida and have come here on each of trips to Breck the past few years. Good chill, quiet, and cozy coffee joint. Good brews.
google avatar

Tracey P.

Yelp
Cozy little spot for brunch and or work. Service was good and so was their breakfast and or lunch options. The hot panini sandwiches here hit the spot for me
google avatar

Hugh K.

Yelp
Friendly service, albeit a bit slow. My panini was not actually served as a panini, which made no sense. My partner got a chicken pesto sandwich and said that it was quite good. For no discernible reason, customers are not allowed to enter through the front door, and figuring out where to enter in back was a bit confusing.
google avatar

Hannah C.

Yelp
We stopped by while strolling through Breck over the weekend and loved the cozy interior we immediately greeted with upon entering. They have a lot of merch if you're looking for a souvenir, but we loved the spacious seating for some afternoon caffeine. They offer boozy coffee which is always a plus, and we couldn't resist their cinnamon toast crunch. It looks, tastes and feels like a warm fuzzy hug and might evoke memories of the cinnamon-y milk left at the bottom of the cereal bowl. The cinnamon roll was good but a little too crunchy on the outer ring. Would definitely come back for the friendly faces, great drinks and vibe!
google avatar

Lynne R.

Yelp
This is the 2nd time we've been to the Crown. Let's just if you're not in a hurry for a cup of specialty Joe ............ this is your place! Waited 15 minutes for our cappuccino's, when order came they were latte's. The only thing about The Crown that we enjoyed was the unique atmosphere!

Vince F.

Yelp
Bummed. Usually really great but messed up my crown Mocha. Maybe the redhead could pay more attention to the order rather than chatting with a friend. Dumping Crown Mocha from a mug into a to go cup means all tge flavoring i paid for is gone. Not to mention i lost a quarter of the coffee. I will go back and hope back to same service as i have had before.
google avatar

Robyn A.

Yelp
We love the cozy seating and delicious food here. This almond cake is so good. Nice menu selection. Great place to relax for a few.
google avatar

Sydney M.

Yelp
Great chai, good espresso but it's a little fruity for my taste, really great atmosphere and comfy seating. Cute outdoor seating too!
google avatar

Regina M.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to go for coffee in Breckenridge. It is conveniently located on Main Street on the top floor of a shopping plaza. It is cutely decorated on the inside. The people who work here are so warm and inviting. They customized our friends drink just to their liking and it came out perfect. We tried the Cubano Latte and it was so delicious. I could drink it all day. I highly recommend this place for a good cup of local coffee in Breck!
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Oh how I love this place. Always come here if I am not skiing (which is rare so a fabulous treat!). My daughter and I had black out ski days so we opted for retail therapy starting here. We lucked out to walk right in and get a couch table in the sunshine. I ordered a French press and she got a large hot chocolate. The staff was so friendly and helpful and we got our drinks quickly. The ambience of this place is truly incredible - I could have stayed here with coffee and my book all day long. Only bummer is they limit guests to 45 minutes per table and do not allow laptops (ie working). Good to know for future reference but today didn't matter to us at all! Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Michael V.

Yelp
Here is the only place you need to come. They got it all. Great coffee! The cubano latte fantastic. They have drinks food pizza wine. Great atmosphere and music. Chill vice inside. Quick with service
google avatar

Maura R.

Yelp
Coffee is gross and they gave me half a cup of coffee instead of the entire cup. They also got my order wrong to begin with. Really disappointed.
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
Great ambiance, cozy, and yummy matcha! The service was friendly and quick. A must see in Breckenridge, Colorado! I loved everything about it!
