"Vitaly Paley’s pizzeria the Crown will open with new items for takeout. With the writing clearly on the wall, chef and restaurateur Vitaly Paley closed all of his restaurants on March 15, the day before Gov. Kate Brown gave the order to close dining rooms in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of pivoting to takeout and delivery like many other places, the chef kept his kitchens entirely closed, but on May 1 his pizzeria the Crown will be back in business, serving an updated menu with new items for curbside takeout and delivery." - Alex Frane

The pizza slices are HUGEMANGOUS, the flavor was on point as well. The sourdough crust and fresh ingredients leave you wanting more but your satiation won’t let you. Also had the Mozzarella salad, incredible. Get one.

Excellent place for late night pizza. Came here late night after a long evening of beer, liquor, and gaming at the barcade. Enjoyed the drink selection here and the pizza was an explosion of flavor helping us to sober up after drinking too much everywhere else. Service was great and we will definitely be back.

I was in town last weekend for a friend birthday. A group of us about 8 people all ordered different items an all looked amazing. Everything tasted great according to all who tasted. The following items were tried and enjoyed. Homemade chicken sausage, shrimp and grits, mushroom omelette, biscuits, kale braised in tomato sauce, French toast, cabbage, and roasted grapefruit. I took some pictures so check them out. Also the one thing that was a bit disappointing was that the menu stayed “greens braised in tomorrow’s” most of the people in my group figured that would be collard greens not kale. The greens could use more heat, but they have a great in house made hot sauce so I just added a good dose so if you don’t like spice this might be good option

The pizza here is freaking awesome. Crunchy, well done, substantial, tasty, awesome cheese and the best crust. A bit pricey than other places but totally delicious.

These slices are big and heavy; in a good way! Plus they’re playing outlaw country, and the cook is singing loudly. It’s fantastic. What could be wrong with Marty Robbins, a Heater Allen Pilsener and amazing pie? The pizza sauce is note-perfect. This should become a Portland institution. Time will tell.

Nice, quiet, low key ambiance. Fast food prep. I came for the sourdough pizza crust & was not disappointed.
