Inventive seasonal lattes, breakfast burritos, toasts, bowls

"Following the success of its Berkley Park location, the Charleston-based coffee shop and brunch cafe opened an Inman Park and Buckhead outpost. In addition to whipped feta toasts with a honey drizzle and fresh chive sprinkle, you’ll find breakfast burritos made with Poco Loco’s tortillas. A full coffee bar with classics and creative combos like black sesame and molasses spice lattes, as well as fresh pressed juices, are also on deck. Open at 7 a.m. on the weekdays, and 8 a.m. on the weekends." - Lia Picard, Henna Bakshi

"A neighborhood café with multiple outposts that’s known for inventive seasonal offerings such as a black sesame latte and salads built with local greens and grains—a dependable spot for coffee and light, market-driven meals." - Eater Staff

"Charleston-based coffee shop and cafe the Daily opened in 2022 along Trabert Avenue in Berkeley Park, the same street as neighboring Floral Park Market and Monday Night Brewing. And it brings to the neighborhood a cafe serving whipped feta toast drizzled with honey and sprinkles of fresh chives on local sourdough from baker Sarah Dodge, its popular overstuffed breakfast burrito, and hearty salads filled with in-season vegetables. For those looking for creative coffee drinks, the Daily is the spot for that, with a rotating list of caffeinated beverages like the molasses spice latte or black sesame latte or the maple pecan cold brew with maple pecan syrup, Onyx Cold Brew, and a maple pecan cream cold foam. Take a seat at the counter beside the kitchen or grab a table in the airy dining room in back. A second location is open in Inman Park and a third is now open in Buckhead." - Beth McKibben, Sarra Sedghi
"The Daily is that rare coffee shop that supports all our needs—it’s comforting, satisfying, down to earth, wholesome, but also spontaneous and playful. We see potential for long-term commitment. Along with fresh-pressed juices and smoothies, they offer all the traditional coffee selections, plus fun seasonal options like Lavender White Chocolate Latte or Maple Pecan Cold Brew, which is a bit like autumn in these parts—fallish in flavor but since it’s still hot as hell outside, we need it ice cold. Their food menu—from salads to wraps—also revolves around what’s in season and comes from local vendors. Bring your laptop and grab a table next to the bright, joyful mural in the back room. After a few happy Zoom calls, you'll want to ask the staff for your own set of keys, so you can make it your permanent workspace. photo credit: Amy Sinclair" - Nina Reeder

"I visited the Charleston-based coffee shop and cafe's new Atlanta outpost on Trabert Avenue at the edge of Berkeley Park, a true homecoming for chef Jacob Hunter and owners Michael and Melody Shemtov. Located in a small retail complex and inspired by the industrial and railroad history of the area, the space is twice the size of the Charleston location with seating for around 60, a 12-seat chef's counter, and a patio (expected later this spring) for about 20 more. The menu expands on the King Street offerings with juiced-to-order cold-pressed juices (Melody spearheaded the juice and adaptogen program), seasonal lattes like black sesame and molasses spice, the Daily’s popular breakfast burritos and BEC sandwiches, pita sandwiches, and grain-and-vegetable bowls from Hunter. The owners consulted chef Anne Quatrano on the move here, are taking a wait-and-see approach on serving wine and beer in Atlanta, and plan to grow to more Atlanta locations (a second spot in the former Proof Bakeshop on DeKalb Avenue and Hurt Street this fall and a third near Northside Parkway in Buckhead in 2023). It's accessible via MARTA bus #12 along Howell Mill Road and will operate weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., moving to seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., in February." - Beth McKibben
