Daily Newark Review - Newark Airport - New York - The Infatuation

"Daily is one of the few airport restaurants where you might actually forget for a second you’re about to wrestle your rolling bag into an overhead compartment. There’s an open kitchen where you can see dishes like chicken shawarma skewers being prepared over an open flame, which is a definite upgrade from watching plates come out of a mystery door to nowhere. Go for their dip sampler, because it’s genuinely hard to pick a favorite between the labneh, hummus, and baba ghanoush—all of which come with a generous helping of warm pita." - Anne Cruz

Random lil spot kinda feels like you're in a hotel café but it's not bad. Pretty small, i got lucky as someone gave me their spot but there are only 8 ish tables? it was nice though. was here to do work and they had wifi and it was quiet. wish i knew the name of the barista cause she was so kind. Accidentally spilled my drink everywhere like a lil kid but she was really sweet about it, cleaned it up quickly and gave me a new drink. she was funny too. got just a cappuccino and a beignet and they were both good nothin crazy. relatively affordable.

I’ve been a regular at this place for over a year, and it used to be one of the best spots for coffee in Philly. However, the last three times I visited, my latte was nowhere near what it used to be. The milk was overheated to the point of being undrinkable, there was no foam, and the coffee was just bitter. I kept giving it another chance, hoping for a return to the quality I loved. This is the latte I received just a few days ago. It was so hot that I hesitated to drink it. After a few minutes, when I opened it up, all the foam had dissolved. Please train your new baristas on how to properly steam milk.

Popped in on a Saturday at 9:30am on my way out of town. Perfect experience. Barista was friendly. Coffee was hot and reasonably priced. Place not crowded. Nice vibe with music at a reasonable level. The bacon, egg, and cheese was maybe the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in my life.

Great coffee and fresh pastries. The nicest baristas and quiet relaxed vibe. Don’t know why it took me such a long time to discover them.

Google
Rather quiet on a Friday morning, but pleasant nonetheless. Tucked away in a big beautiful building with nice coffee to boot.

Google
Honestly one of the best coffee shops I ever been to. Drinks are incredible, staff is amazing and have a lot of passion in what they do, food is delicious. I would highly recommend.

Yelp
I'm not going to make this place a Daily spot. Stopped by for a cappuccino and the espresso was disappointing. It was a bit sour and considering the price would've expected better. Was hoping to grab a pastry but they too looked lack luster with steep prices. There are a lot of coffee shops in the area and I would've expected more. Don't get me wrong the ambience was ok, they had a few tables and the music was quiet. There weren't any other customers so the service was quick. The location definitely has potential but overall was disappointed by the coffee.

Yelp
Stayed at a vacation rental located in the Divine Lorraine hotel and this little lobby cafe was a happy little bonus. Staff is super friendly and definitely gives off a Philly vibe. Literally his response to "How you're doing?" Was "we out here" Big facts I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, a barbecue BEC a pain au chocolate, and a custard filled beignet. I ordered for three. Don't judge me. The pastries came out quick cuz they have them in ample supply. The BEC was made to order which everybody can appreciate. My matcha came out hot with some stylized foam and since I was taking everything to go I was offered a nice little paper shopping bag to carry my goodies in. (Thanks cafe guy). There are about four small tables inside if you did want to dine in, and there were some folks having breakfast/ light conversation with friends when I arrived. Seems like it's mostly hotel guests and residents who are using this little breakfast nook, but patrons do have access from a door leading to the outside as well. Next time I stay in this rental I'll definitely be making use of this spot. Too easy. Also this beignet is yum

Yelp
Coffee, pastries, ambient music and arguably the best Breakfast Sandwiches in all of North Philly! Great spot to relax, sit, have a meeting, or pick up a good quality cup of coffee

Yelp
Extremely Cute coffee shop inside of the beautifully restored Divine Lorraine Hotel. It was clean and bright with many options for Tea Coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The entrance is a hidden but worth the search. I would definitely recommended the BBQ BEC sandwich it was hot fresh and so delicious

Yelp
This rating is about the service in the kitchen, not the barista, who was very welcoming and solution-driven. Today was my first and, most likely, last time I visited this cafe.I ordered iced coffee and waffle fries for $5. However, considering the price and serving size, I was disappointed. Before eating any of the fries, I decided to return to the cafe to see if there was an error with the serving size. Unfortunately, when it was explained to me that the measurement is 6.5oz, it looked nothing like 6.5oz more like 3oz. Instead of attempting to correct this error, the cafe chose to explain that the box is bigger, which makes the serving look smaller. I found this explanation ridiculous. I was simply annoyed and decided to write off this location.

Yelp
Delicious coffee and friendly baristas! Go to coffee shop in the area! Also, I was there when they were testing new drinks and got to try some. Super good.

Yelp
Iced lattes! The matcha was just okay, but it could be because I'm so used to adding SF vanilla. The coffee was AMAZING, and I'll definitely be getting that from now on. I came at the perfect time because there was no wait, no crowd, and great service. Cute vibe, definitely worth a visit if your looking for a low-key place.

Yelp
A relaxed quiet place. The waffle fries are so good! And same as the coffee! Go here!

Yelp
Came this morning because we saw great reviews Terrible coffee, tasted watered down, zero flavor, milk burned and sour. Too bad.

Yelp
Great BBQ bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Also very good coffee. Uses local roasters. Tucked away off Broad St inside Divine Lorraine, great location next to BSL and new Aldi. Adding outdoor benches or table access would be perfect for the warming spring weather.
