Champagne, craft cocktails, and unique small plates

"From the team behind The Coupe & Flute comes The Dandy Of King Street Crossing, a Pioneer Square bar with a similar MO. Just like its Beacon Hill sibling, here you can build a meal of small plates and serious wine while staring at art deco bird wallpaper. And it still works. The snacks have a Middle-Eastern-meets-South-Asian theme—like vindaloo-sauced meatballs, ricotta gnudi in a masala curry (that pair really well with sparkling Macedonian rosé), and garlic chip-adorned hummus. With ample seating availability, you’ve got an exciting Pioneer Square after-work venue that doesn’t involve a big-screen television or the whir of an ice machine." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

"The team behind Beacon Hill’s The Coupe & Flute has delivered arguably the prettiest new bar in Pioneer Square. Think Victorian charm meets art deco, with the relaxing ambience of an upscale spa. Meeting its surroundings in taste, the wine list is small but excellently curated with imports from France and Italy. All that aside, however, this spot is worth visiting for the cocktails (served in pre-chilled glasses!) and small bites alone. Try one of the gin-based house specialties, like the Negroni or Spanish gin and tonic, with the smoked “Dandy Hummus” and cider-roasted carrots." - Brianna Gunter

"An amusingly named new spot from the owners of the Coupe and Flute; focused heavily on champagne — “champagne, champagne, and champagne cocktails.” There’s food too, but a limited menu as the bar sorts itself out. It’s currently only open from 3 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays." - Harry Cheadle
