Away on business and reached for the good ol' Yelp! machine to figure out where to go. Feeling crafty so I decided to give this spot a try.
A hop, skip and jump from the hotel and ballpark, but had to walk through some people without housing. Being from the East Bay, CA, we call this "Tuesday" lol.
Got there during Happy Hour, so menu was a little limited to snackage and libations. I'm in it to win it at this point. Grab a beer, the Amber which was tasty thank you for asking, and some chicken wings.
Chicken wings were good! Needed a bit more ranch, I mean who wouldn't, right guys, right, but they were delish!
Had another Amber to wash it down and farted around on my phone for a bit. It started to get close to 5:00 and people started showing up. I forgot to mention this place is pretty nice inside too. Open high ceilings, 2 story, nice long bar and table top seating. It's a nice place. Seating outside too, but once I arrived, the sky opened up and it just dumped. Snuck in just in time.
The bartender reminded me Happy Hour was just about over and if I wanted one before the clock stuck. I obliged. She also said I could order off what I called the Big Boy Menu and while I was tempted by the rib eye, went for the Depot Burger. With onion jam, Swiss cheese, mushrooms and sauce, this was me at that moment.
I forgot to take a picture of the burger until I was a bite or two to Comaville, but I got one just for you guys. It was that good. Big 1/2 pound of beef and tastes soooo good. Yes, I do get out much silly. It was good, what do you want me to say?
Anyway, make the trip, invite some friends, take a Uber or Lyft and go enjoy the hell out of yourself. Good a lot to hang out by yourself, like yours truly, or with friends.
I also asked for some coasters because they had my kids initials on them. Got him a little Secret Squirrel present for his place. I hate water rings on tables, just so you know in case you visit my place lol.
Enjoy!
