21 Standout LGBTQIA+-Owned Restaurants & Gay Bars In London - London - The Infatuation

"From the proverbial flames of queer pub The Glory, The Divine has risen to continue hosting iconic drag nights, such as LIPSYNC1000, in Dalston. With its neighbours Vogue Fabrics and Dalston Superstore down the road, it forms the new ‘Pink Triangle’ of queer venues all within walking distance. There’s a dedicated performance space downstairs and queer icons adorn the walls—and, if you’re lucky, the upstairs seating area as well. For something strong, stiff, and reliable (unlike your ex), order the long island iced tea, garnished with cocktail cherries." - rachel rumbol

Recently went to the bar to watch the Harem of No One show and I must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience. The performers put on a fantastic show that was both adorable and entertaining. From the lively music to the colourful costumes, everything about it’s just amazing. We particularly loved how the performers interacted with the audience, making everyone feel included. It was a memorable night I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out

As others have stated here. Music is bad. Doesn’t fit the vibe at all. The venue feels camp, the crowd the same, but the music is just not giving what it needs. No bangers, no sing a longs, just super repetitive and the DJ can’t beat match to save their life. Bar staff friendly though!

Beautiful night. The security was so kind. Terry and nina were amazing. Thank you for being human and understanding and being a big step forward compared to the “usual” London bouncers vibe. Will def be back 🫶🏼

The owner needs to learn some manners especially when acts are there bringing in punters to their venue. There is no need to shout, and look at them as if they'd committed a murder every single second after being rude. I was asked to come in early to do a soundcheck and tech setup as professional shows should be. I will not be recommending anyone to perform there or even frequent it as a bar. I felt quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. I wouldn't wish my worst enemies go there.

I’m all for supporting nightlife venues since London has been suffering under a certain mayor, you know whom. But also I’d ask the people who complain about the licence related issues - queuing to smoke, operating hours etc.- you are also the same kind of people constantly voting for those who put those rules? Make it make sense… this applies to bar / pub owners as well. Vote for councillors who will support businesses and nightlife economy. Enough with herd mentality

I ended up getting a bit too wasted last night and couldn’t get myself home. The security staff were so amazing. They called an Uber for me off my phone, took care of me while I was throwing up, looked for my keys etc. one of them even ended up getting in the Uber with me and got me all the way home! Even called my housemate to make sure they’d let me in as I’d lost my keys. Went back today to find my keys (and jacket and wallet haha) and they were so helpful, checking everywhere for me and were relieved I’d got home safe. All this was after closing by the way, so they really went above and beyond! Will definitely be back <3

I am very dissapointed to say this but a staff member behind the bar was incredibly rude for no reason. This person made me feel very uncomfortable and ruined my evening. i wanted to pop in and support my local queer space. i spent over £50 (in the hour and a half i was there) yet i was made to feel very unwelcome. It is such a shame but i will not be going there again.

So great to have another queer venue in the area, different to The Glory but they're doing a great job! Just keep the queer acts coming as shows are always an amazing part of the night!
