This is my third time working with Suzy for keratin bond extension and she is THE BEST in New York City! It can take several hours, but the time flies and truly passes quickly. The treatment stays for a few months and I always look forward to coming back. Tyler, who is the salon’s client lead, is the absolute best — so clear, warm and always helpful.

I can't say enough about how amazing this salon is. I was researching the best places in NYC for air touch (a very time consuming hair coloring technique that is not commonly practiced), and I stumbled upon The Drawing Room. I worked with their air touch specialist, Christian, who was absolutely fantastic in every way. I have had air touch done on my hair before, but many stylists have not been the most patient or precise with the technique as it takes about 5-6 hours on my hair. Christian was METICULOUS. He talked me through his process step by step so I knew what was going on, and he was clearly extremely passionate about his job. He does everything in his power to ensure a seamless blend of color and he is a true professional. It is probably the best color I have ever had on my hair. Beyond Christian's amazing work, the salon itself is the most inviting space I've seen in New York. Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and whenever a stylist has a moment to spare, they sort of drift by their coworkers to help with their clients. It really does seem like a family and you can feel that energy when you walk in. I've been in twice, and each time I was offered something to drink upon entering, had my coat and bag placed somewhere safe and then returned to me at the end of the appointment, and was asked several times throughout the appointment how I could be made more comfortable. Everyone here makes you feel really special. I came in for my appointment after a long hard week and I can truly say my spirits were lifted because of they way I was treated here. If you are looking for amazing hair and kind professional stylists, this is 100% the place to go. I can't recommend it enough! (Special thank you to Christian, you are the best!) 6/5 stars.

The Drawing Room has an amazing atmosphere, and a set of staff that know what they are doing. I come the creative field, so I wanted something unique and clean. They knew exactly what to do, and what would look good on me. My colorist Christian did an amazing job turning my previously pink hair into a dark blue (which is very hard to do). My hair was cut and styled by Adriano who also did an amazing job to make my hair look amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

Have only had fabulous experiences at the Drawing Room! Not only is the space incredibly clean and the staff friendly and inviting, but my colorist Victor and the various stylists that have cut my hair consistently do amazing work. The Drawing Room sets a clear standard for excellence, and I can always trust that I will leave feeling and looking 1000x better than when I arrived. I had a lovely session with Tahlya! I went from black hair to platinum blonde in one session, and my hair still felt healthy afterwards. She is an ideal hairstylist in all the ways. She listens sincerely and asks all the right questions, and is transparent throughout the entire process. In terms of her skill, she is so meticulous, and very thoughtful with each step of the process as she clearly takes time and energy to individualize her decisions to each client . I felt at ease in her hands. I absolutely love my hair, she listened to my vision and executed it in a way that exceeded my expectations.

I love my new hair color all thanks to my hair colorist Suzy. I color my hair often and instead of my regular balayage I wanted a vibrant copper from her. I explained her my preference. Suzy showed me her color palettes, how the color will turn out on my hair and started the process. I am very delighted with the result. The new look compliments me better then what I had expected. Also my hair never felt so healthy, shiny and smooth. Definitely going back to Suzy again.

Had an amazing experience with Chris at the Drawing Room New York! I wanted to try rose gold foilyage. It was my first time trying foilyage and it was a comfortable experience. My hair wasn't damaged from the service, and the color was beautiful! I liked how my roots were still natural, so it will look more natural as it grows out. The salon was beautiful and clean. Customer service was fantastic and I was offered water as well (bottled water!). Chris also gave me some styling tips, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend Chris at this salon! He's a wonderful colorist with years of experience. Very friendly and fun to talk to as well. Be sure to call ahead and schedule an appointment !

Love love love! Went for my first time and met with Jordan! We know as first time clients always a bit nervous. I had severely damaged and over processed highlights. I wanted to go lighter and brighten up lose brassy tones. Jordan from the beginning was honest. He wouldn't do highlights insisted on balayage the hair painting technique to save my hair and suggustsd a cut to even out the damage. He did a treatment as well. During the whole process he told me why and what he was doing. My hair looks totally amazing and he gave me a doable plan to keep up so I get the length back and the color I desire. Jordan is the best and he's now my go too for hair! The drawing room on Spring Street in soho is amazing!

Had the BEST experience at The Drawing Room with Christian!! It was my first time coloring my hair/doing anything major and Chris made me feel so comfortable and taken care of! He took me from a 3 (very dark brown/ almost black virgin Asian hair) to a 9 (ashy blonde) in one session and managed to keep the damage to my hair at a minimum. It still feels very healthy even after 7 hours of lifting. Christian was very informative about the entire process and explained each step to me and also gave me a lot of advice on how to maintain my hair after-- super helpful for a newbie like me! The experience itself was wonderful-- 7 hours flew by under Christians care and I felt like we were buds by the end of it. The salon is beautiful-- very clean, and accommodating, and located in the heart of SoHo. They even gave me tea and chocolate On my walk 10 min home after I got stopped by two people who complimented my hair!! Completely obsessed and highly recommend!!

I'm new to living in New York. I researched and found the fabulous colorist Victor - in the last few months I've had amazing highlights, base color and glossing. Highly recommend! Very professional and skilled. Haircut by the fabulously talented Adriano. Also highly recommend!

Found this place online while looking for good coloring salons in NYC! The appointment process was very easy and everyone I talked to over the phone was very kind! I love how they were able to quote me without a consultation and just through photos emailed to them, the staff is very friendly and GREAT! at what they do. As someone who's gotten their hair dyed for 10+ years, I've pretty much seen it all and this is the best experience I've had! Normally I leave a salon with one or two complaints as i'm very picky about my hair but there are none here! They understood the assignment and ate it up, safe to say I found my salon in NYC! Will be coming back and highly recommended.

I had such an amazing experience with Ciara! She created the perfect hair look for me-- it literally is the haircut I have been trying to achieve, but the hair stylists I've been to haven't been able to create the look due to my hair thickness and texture. Ciara easily thinned out my thick hair and feathered it so it curls just right, but when I have tried to get this cut before, I ended up looking like a MUSHROOM. Not to mention, the service was impeccable; Ciara was extremely polite and made me feel so comfortable the entire time (don't get me started on the head massage during my hair wash). I left the beautiful SOHO salon feeling chic, cool, and like my best self.

This is the best hair salon I have ever been to and Clyde is a master hair cutter! I have been going here for about 8 years and I drive 30 mins from NJ to see him. I am not a celebrity or soho "fancy" just your basic middle age working woman but I don't feel out of place, everyone is really nice. Clyde is incredibly kind and gives unbelievable haircuts. For medical reasons I had to skip getting a cut for 10 months and my hair STILL looked decent after all that time!!!!! It is not inexpensive but it is not outrageous for nyc. Worth every cent and more. Great. Thank you.

I've been doing my own hair for as long as I can think of but this time around I decided to get my hair done. Tahlya did an AMAZING job with my color! And Stephanie did amazing with the styling! I'm beyond happy. The experience and environment was great to be in. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this salon to all my friends and family!

WOW. I've been chasing this platinum for such a long time. I felt like a snow queen walking around the city after my appointment. Lucie was so gentle and careful through the entire process. Not only does she know what she's doing but she's absolutely lovely to talk to. I look forward to seeing her again:) it's not easy for an aspiring platinum to find a willing AND able stylist and Lucie is magnificent. Firstly I must say this review is not about a particular service done, but in regards to there front desk staff. I called to cancel a consultation 3 days prior to the appointment and spoke with a woman named Luna at the front desk. When I expressed my need to cancel, she rudely and abruptly ushered me off the phone announcing that my appointment was canceled without confirming who I was and what she was canceling. She unprofessionally didn't ask any of these questions. As I was in mid-conversation to confirm that she did indeed cancel the right appointment, she hangs up on me. I must say a lack of professionalism from the font desk associates by my standards, results in a poor representation of the company and how it is run. If I wanted to come back in the near future, such an experience would advise anybody not too. (Update: The owner of the establishment, Clyde, just called me in regards to the review I left, to have me explain the issue. He seemed to care at first about my opinion asking how to improve service moving forward, as I expressed my frustrations he began to ask me questions about where I work, that he runs a small business, how hard it is to hire good staff, to try running my own company etc. Presumably to get me to sympathize with him and accept his staffs lack of decorum and poor behavior as a result of his company struggles. He ended the phone call with cursing me out for ruining his business by leaving this review, before I hung up abruptly. He soon after messaged me personally several times in which I did not respond, as this has now gotten out of hand and beyond professional from an employer to customer stand point.)

Lucie permed my hair a couple of months ago and did the most incredible job!!! It didn't dry out or damage my hair, she created wonderful texture and was so meticulous despite this being a multi hour process -- couldn't recommend her and this salon more!

I had Suzy who was not only gentle with the application but ensured every piece that needed a touch-up was updated. The salon follows covid regulations and I felt very safe the entire time. Wonderful salon in soho, honestly the best salon in Soho. I have been a regular and my experience this time has been just as amazing as my first visit years ago. I have went through many hair transitions and they have made my vision come into life each time. Suzy and Adriano have always exceeded my expectations and i always leave satisfied. I introduced my friends to Stephanie and they were very happy with their haircut by her as well. Thank you always for the amazing hospitality and wonderful service!!

I visited the Drawing room a couple of months ago and was highly impressed by the color and style wich Xenia Bonasevich created for me! Xenia is a professionell and a lovely person! I enjoyed the time I spent in Xenia's chair and was highly satisfied with the new look and style! Xenia's shades and palettes are wonderful and last really long! The Drawing Room is a beautiful salon, very neat and stylish! All stylists and personnel is polite and friendly! This salon has been my everything for years!! Tahlya is a literal magician with hair and color and she and Suzy have taken me on so many journeys with my hair! They understand ME and my hair so well and make me feel beyond special every time I come. Tyler the manager is excellent and also Adriano is one of the best stylists. I cannot express how much I love and appreciate this place.

I'm glad to get my hair color in this place! This spot is amazing! Its located on the 2nd floor of a building and its very easy to find. The interior is minimalist, elegant and cozy. I came here because it is recommended by my friend and I'm very happy with the result. All the workers are very friendly. They also serve coffee for free. I decided to do balayage hair and I'm very happy with the result. My hair stylist name is suzy, shes the best! Very friendly and very easy to talk too, you won't have a boring day with her while getting your haircolor done. Its gonna take a long time but I didn't even feel it since she keeps on chitchatting which I really enjoyed. Thank you so much suzy for my amazing hair! You did a great job. I'll be back soon.

I've found my new go-to for style and color. Colorist Bradley honestly is a wizard at his craft and an absolute doll. I came in with thick Jet black hair and left with cotton candy pink perfection. I cannot emphasize enough how talented and charming this man is. After the color treatment I had a cut and style with Danny. He knew exactly how to read my style and gave me a cut to match. I could not be happier with the end results. If you're on the fence about this place. I implore you to go! Definitely won't regret it.

This was my first haircut during the pandemic. The last time I got a cut was in December 2019 at my usual salon, Bumble & Bumble. After giving myself a couple of at-home trims (which looked passable at first but increasingly crummy as the months wore on), I really needed an expert cut for upcoming head shots (for a book jacket! Yay!) I had never heard of the salon but it had excellent reviews. It was also small, so I felt more comfortable sitting for an hour inside an enclosed space -- something I had not done since early March. I promised myself if I saw a single person not wearing a mask, I would leave. I was not at all disappointed. The staff was extremely courteous and everyone followed appropriate protocols. There were maybe half a dozen people in the room and everyone was polite and considerate. The owner cut my hair and did an outstanding job! He knew I was very particular about it and spent more than an hour on my cut, trimming my hair not only when it was wet, but then again when it was dry. He truly did a spectacular job. He was very relaxed and easy-going, extremely polite and friendly. This was an expensive cut. I don't splurge on many such things, but I know a great haircut when I see one -- it should keep its shape for many weeks to come. He was worth every penny. He truly loves his work and has a great, positive energy. I will be glad to return.

Last month I came to the Drawing Room after a friend of mine whose hair was super fun suggested going to see her colorist Mirko. Upon arrival the staff and Mirko were very kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is also very chill. I did not have a preference for what was done to my hair on both color and cut, I just wanted to be surprised. I've been seeing the same person the past 8 years and was excited for change. Mirko checked to make sure their was nothing I didn't like and then went to work. Followed by Adriano who cut my hair. They both killed it and I stepped out of there feeling like a Star! I can't wait to go back and switch it all up, I highly recommend these boys!

I just received a devastating email that the best person at this salon has left. I have been a client for many years but have noticed that the salon can't keep steady employees. Seems like every time you find a good person that you like, the owner or manager always say that person left the country for some reason. I have also noticed the last few visits the atmosphere in the salon has not been very friendly, staff seems frigid and always on edge. I sat in Michael's chair for the first time, and he did not disappoint!! In fact, as with every other time I've been to this salon, I left with confidence and a heart full of gratitude for their attention to me and attention to detail. I even had people stop me on the street and follow me around a music cruise on the Hudson to tell me how perfect and flawless my hair looks! If I ever leave NYC, I'm flying back just to get my hair done at The Drawing Room! A HUGE thank you to everyone at The Drawing Room for the integrity and personal attention you offer me every time I walk through your doors.

I love it here. The environment is so nice, lots of light and space. I came in for a trim and color and met with Mirko, who switched me up from a white ash to a bright pink. It's a great temporary color that has been slowly rinsing out over the last week so if you're looking for something fun and non-permanent this is a great place. He is super sweet and talented. AND - I've been bleached several times over the years and it ALWAYS makes my scalp burn or peel. This was not the case at all at Drawing Room - everything he used was sooooo gentle and my hair is not dry or crispy at all. MASSIVE relief. I was extremely hesitant to have bangs cut but Elena was pushy about it so I felt like I should just say yes. And it worked out great. Elena truly knows your face better than you do yourself, trust me!

"I'm trying to grow my hair out. Please take off as little as possible." I left the salon with tons of chunky layers and BANGS. It's not a bad cut at all - these stylists know hair. It's just specifically not what I asked for. It's the opposite. I tried to give it a few days to see if I'd get used to it but I'm pretty heartbroken. It'll take at least 6-8 months for my hair to grow out to where it was before, and maintaining this cut until then will take a lot of regular styling - there are too many layers for it to air dry or throw up in a bun. Experiences like these make me never want to go to a salon ever again.

So many good things to say. My favorite cut ever - I'm super, super particular about my hair, and I've always assumed I'm too picky to really ever get the results I want. Tahlya was just as particular! Before she started cutting, we talked in detail about what I wanted in terms of style, texture and maintenance. She's a great communicator and super knowledgeable. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted, and she let me know everything she was doing as she cut. Maybe the most important thing - she made sure my haircut would work in my actual life and not just in the salon. We styled it that day but she reassured me that she was cutting it with air-drying in mind and that it'd look great at home too. I'm working on it, but I'm a wet hair out the door, doing makeup on the train type. And even aside from lifestyle, aesthetically I want an undone, model-off-duty (the dream, right?) look. The rest of me is still working on it, but my hair is CARRYING THE TEAM right now. It seriously looks amazing! Other things: products were great, loved the vibe of the salon, and aside from being an incredibly creative and skilled stylist Tahlya is also an angel of a person. I came in all puffy from crying and she kindly didn't mention it but was so supportive and sweet when I brought it up. Could not recommend her more.

Omg. I went in to the drawing room after a thorough preliminary consultation with Christian. We discussed hair color ideas, and we were aiming for a creative look. I wanted something in the purple family, inspired by a pretty periwinkle. He is absolutely amazing! We did a color correction / double process and transformed my 10 month root growth to a beautiful ash blond (it was a super dark almost black color). Then his associate Mario cut my bangs to a blunt fringe before we colored it to a vivid purple. TRUST THE PROCESS! And trust these people with your hair!!! Christian and Mario were an absolute delight throughout my 9 hour visit to the salon, and made me feel extremely well taken care of; your hair will be in good hands with them. They are extremely knowledgeable in their craft, and you will look and feel a million bucks like I did. PS Adriano assisted as well in this process and was the photographer! He seems extremely skilled as well. Thank you so much Christian, Mario, and Adriano!

I am a believer! Hence, I dedicate my first Yelp review for Mirko and Adriano :) I am blessed with dark, straight, and thick East Asian hair and I was skeptical to have bright vibrant gorgeous colors. However, Mirko was able to pull off the grey/bright orange look, without hurting my scalp! He was extremely knowledgeable about hair colors and products!! Yes, no more box hair colors for me!! Adriano was really meticulous with the cut too! He was very attentive and seemed like he was paying attention to individual piece of hair while having a very clear big picture in his head! Oh yes, and of course, Mirko, Adriano, and the entire staff were kind. Def recommend this place for everyday hair or a wowzers makeover!

I've been a happily satisfied client at the Drawing Room for over 2+ years now and so this review is waaay overdue. But they deserve it, because I haven't had hair this good EVER. Seriously, the staff here are clearly knowledgable, skilled, and gasp! they're nice! Before I found my way to the Drawing Room, I was on the hunt for a new stylist following a big move. And the search was ROUGH. I wasted SO much time and money on blah haircuts and boring highlights... I was starting to think I should just lower my expectations and deal. Luckily, that didn't happen -- on a whim I booked an appointment with Tahlya Loveday and have legit been in hair heaven ever since. She is the BEST! From our first meeting, I felt like she cared about the look and style I wanted to achieve, but was also honest about what she thought worked best for my face shape, overall style, commitment level, etc. It just felt like she "got" me and was invested in making sure I felt gorgeous by the time I left. Bonus points for recently introducing me to Bradley, my #1 blonde hero, who made miracles happen and my ash blonde dreams come true :) Long story short -- whether you need a new stylist or just want your life to be the ultimate in #hairgoals, get your ass here ASAP. Book with Tahyla & Bradley and thank me later. They will change your hair life.

BEWARE the colorists at this salon and the icy atmosphere. This review is for a colorist who absolutely did not understand how to connect with me ( I am brunette and wanted to stay brunette, but instead it went to auburn with bright red undertones.) After I was unhappy with my color, the colorist proceeded to: 1. Tell me to buy one of the salon shampoos to cancel the color that I didn't like in my hair. 2. Told me that I was wrong to see red in my hair, and only under certain light was it noticeable (Colorist: even if I see it under certain lights and don't like it, that means it should be changed. I should be able to like my hair no matter the light it is under.) 3. Told me that if my friends looked at my hair, they would not see what I was seeing. (News to colorist: never say this to a client. I had two days between my color and going back to your salon for the correction. I had plenty of time to poll my friends and they agreed with me that my hair was no longer brown.) 4. The colorist told me I needed to cut my hair, and did not even offer any credit or acknowledgement after they did not achieve what I wanted in the first appointment. I would have considered a cut had there at least been some acknowledgement of the extra hassle to go back to the salon to get my hair redone and that what I wanted was not achieved after my first appointment. I will never return and I offer this review as a warning to anyone else considering a color at this salon.

Adriano...is very attentive and creative. I was very nervous, having had several botched haircuts, through the years. He did a beautiful cut...based on my hair texture...and my vision... He's personable and very sweet. I'll be back...! Marlene

Finally decided to dye my hair blue, was looking for the right place and I couldn't be more happy with the result. Amazing service. As a long time Californian techie, I am more flip flops than fancy pants, so previous to my visit I was a bit concerned about the fanciness code. Turns out its not like that.Everyone was super cool and down to earth. I spent about three hours at the Drawing Room, received amazing service, incredible (!!!!) craft, and super chilled conversations with their European crew. More than recommend and will keep coming back.

Let me start off by saying I am extremely particular when it comes to my hair. I have very thick wavy hair that I like pin straight like a piece of paper, and I love to switch up my color - which can drive your colorist crazy, but not at The Drawing Room. They get it and they got you. First: Christian - thank you so much for giving me this gorgeous color! He is a master in his craft, and gives honest opinions and takes you to wherever you want to go color wise, and does so with keeping the integrity of your hair. You feel it the moment you sit in his chair. I finally found my colorist in NYC!! Next: Adriano - the coolest perfectionist around. The most pleasant person to speak with, and he knows your hair better than you do - trust me. You will be hypnotized by his haircuts, perfect bang trims and blowouts - just go, you'll see :) I also have to thank Ksenia - she is the best at everything, I can't even narrow it down to one thing!! Thank you for always taking care of me! Last, but certainly not least - Clyde. As an Owner/Founder - you know exactly how to treat your clients. You make sure everyone is happy including your staff, which just highlights the elegance that your whole team operates with. I have curly hair and I was looking for a change, but I didn't want to go to a specific hair salon for curly hair because I was not in the mood to be driven by this "new trend", so I decided to try a new salon and I booked an appointment at THE DRAWING ROOM. The salon is in the heart of Soho, easy to find and only 2 minutes walk from C and E trains, 5 minutes walk from 1 train and also 5 minutes walk from W, R, N, Q trains. The salon looks minimal, modern and very welcoming: I booked a color change with Mirko, who is the salon's creative color director (I discovered later, with great pleasure) Well, Mirko is the best hair colorist I have ever met (Trust me, I met so many in my life): he was so kind, so accurate, he explains me the process and suggest me the best color according to my complexion and eyes color. The result was stunning! I also took advantage to have an haircut and try also this service. My hairstylist was Adriano: I had an haircut just 2 weeks before but he fixed it giving my curls more definition and he proceeded with the best curly blow dry I have ever had! I can say for sure I have found the best salon for my hair: I recommend you all THE DRAWING ROOM, even if you have very difficult hair, because they definitely know how to take care of every type of hair! Landed up here to get my hair color done because all of the reviews for this place! I get a single process done to cover my greys and it all looked good until 4 days after... Th color was fading away in just 4 days - my grey could be seen - and that too the ones in the front. I was busy with a show so didn't call them at that time . They called me for feedback - I think within a week, and I told them about this problem. They said they would look into it and call me back and never did. So well...not going back here :S

The salon is welcoming, the staff are professional, and the stylists are artist. I was attended by Sierra one of the top colorist at The Drawing Room, I told her I needed something new and bold done to my hair, and she assessed my hair and assured me that I was going to love my new look she took my faded pink and blue locks and blessed me with a warm and vivacious new look, so much so that even the owner of the salon saw the finished product and said "this hair is stunning", that alone showed me that I made the right choice of hairdresser. My appreciation also goes out to Adriano who gave me a sharp and sleek new cut his skills with his shears are nothing less than precise. I will continue to book my appointments at The Drawing Room with Sierra she is truly an artist and soo very skilled at her craft. Thank you Sierra for making me look and feel amazing And thank you Drawing room for your professionalism and talented staff.

Omg! My first experience at the Drawing Room is unforgettable. Its a beautiful, clean and relaxing salon with the sweetest staff Members. Mirko, the color genius, was able to lift my golden blond hair, to white and then he topped it off with a little bit of pink, which we now call FROSÉ. LOL. At first i was nervous and afraid of the outcome but now I'm hooked and trying to get back ASAP! All in All, The drawing room is the way to go if you're seeking to have a creative coloring experience in NYC hands down!

After a cancelled appointment on New Year's Eve, I was in a bit of a jam to find something. I was in luck to remember the Drawing Room had a good reputation and were able to squeeze me in last minute. Their entire team, from the woman who helped me on the phone, to the check-in, to Adriano, who is a master with blow-outs. Their product line is also notable--I left with a fantastic recommendation for a prep spray. Very happy to have found a Manhattan salon with truly kind people who saved my evening out and will be back again!

I'm so beyond disappointed at my service here. I got my hair bleached and paid almost 1k on this service only for my hair to start smoking in the middle of the service and for me to go home with half my hair broken off. It's been a while since my service and my hair is still breaking and in terrible condition. They overcharge and have no idea what they are doing.

Does anybody know what happened to Bradley, the colorist? I will PAY you to tell me where he's at! He was extraordinary and understood me, my complexion, my hair, my vibe, everything.... and since he left, it's been three terrible color jobs from three terrible colorists at the Drawing Room, and I feel so defeated that none of the employees there will tell me where he went and yet keep doing such a terrible job. Not gonna go there again and gonna look for somebody else, but hoping I could just go to him! Somebody once alluded to the fact he's in Brooklyn. Again, if anybody knows, I will literally buy you a salon day. Thanks!!

The absolute best salon in New York City. After moving to New York and searching for months for the right people to do my hair I found Adriano and Mirko. They are incredible and both so creative. Mirko knows color, knows what looks best, and has fun doing it. Adriano is one of the best people to have ever cut my hair. I trust them fully. I have recommended the salon to several people, and all of them are now returning customers. A must try, especially if you have been unhappy with your current stylist(s).

Hm, here's an update to the update since Tesse no longer works at The Drawing Room. Found this out when I went to Clyde for a haircut recently. It's true, I'm very sad that she's left the premises, but they have a cute Asian girl in her place now apparently. (Competition with yours truly, I see. Hmph.) Will have to let you know what the experience is like the next time I'm there. One more thing - I don't think I've mentioned that they serve wine (among other nice beverages like tea, coffee, lemonade, water). Nifty, yea? Yes, I do have a glass while getting a cut. And, yes, sometimes I stop by when my friends are getting their hair done; I say hi to the Drawing Room gang and, once in a while grab a glass before going home or going out. Sounds loserish, right? I see it as economical. Poh-tay-toh, Pho-tah-toh. They're pleasant peeps to be around. :oD PS - It would be crazy to write yet a 4th review just to update ya'll, so here's a PS...I moved to LA almost two months ago and have been going crazy that I can't just go to The Drawing Room to get a trim between cuts. My plan is to visit NYC every 6 months so I could get my hair cut (and to visit friends and family, of course). People think I'm out of my mind. But when you've lived through many bad cuts and stylists and finally find the best salon with the best hairstylist and colorist, it's not crazy. They help me be the best me I can be! (ok, maybe I'm watching too much Oprah) ;op

Mirko is the best. I've been going to him for hair coloring for two years. He is a real professional. He has a great personality and does phenomenal work. I recommend him 100 percent.

Jill is a great colorist! The first time I came here for Ombre I had ALOT of complements on my hair, the service is EXCELLENT! The salon is really clean and professional. And I got exactly what I asked for. I made the mistake of trying a different salon which was horrendous! I came back to Jill the next day and she fixed everything to PERFECTION! And really educated me on what to do to get my hair back to a healthier state. Jill really knows whats up and what looks good! I will not stray anymore!

I've been getting my keratin at the drawing for two years now and I LOVE it! Staff is very professional, kind and helpful. Clyde always does my hair, I love how passionate and detailed he is. Definitely the best hair experience I've had in NYC.

I had not had a haircut in over 6 months and my hair was heavy, long, lifeless and I was ready for a change. Thank goodness for Tahlya Loveday! She not only listened to what I wanted but asked good questions so that we could figure out a cut that would be fresh and fun for summer but functional for me (since I don't spend that much time styling my hair). She was really personable and made easy conversation, the time went by quickly. I was happy with the cut and felt transformed! The salon is immaculate and I felt pampered from the moment I walked through the door. Loved the salon, loved Tahlya, but especially loved my haircut!

Mirko is AMAZING and absolutely saved my hair!! He was patient and detail-oriented, two very important qualities in a hair colorist. When I came in my hair was terrible, but he fixed it and made it fabulous. Thank you Mirko and the phenomenal team at the Drawing Room.

These guys have reinvented my entire look, I went from long hair to a pixie cut and will never go back. Mirko and the team of stylists including Alex and Adriano are pros in their field. It's always something new and creative. I trust them so much that I let them decide on the cut and color, because they know what looks good on me better than I can.
