Yelp
Truthfully would give this 2.5/5 stars but I rounded up here. Maybe I had too high of hopes coming into this quaint little dumpling spot right near Hi-Wire Brewing, or maybe just an off day, but unfortunately I didn't have such a great experience.
I had the Pork and Chives dumplings and the Fried Pork Buns. Starting off with the dumplings, the only taste I felt they had was that of the oil of pan-searing. The pork inside was very bland. All orders came with Chili oil and I thought that would rescue the dumpling but unfortunately to me it was just dipping a flavorless dumpling into oil, that by the end of it just had you feeling like you ate mostly a container of oil. As for the Fried Pork Buns, those were better and I felt they had slightly more flavor but once again would say they were only enjoyable with soy sauce drenching them. Again the meat in those was very under seasoned but better than the dumplings. As for the ambience it was a quiet quaint shop that could feel like a great spot to get a nice and cheaper bite. It was also maintained clean which is always a plus. Finally the service was good, and what I would expect for any small food spot.
Again maybe I just had it on an off day, this place just wasn't for me
