Classic pub with proper pints. Food was hearty and tasted good. Server was nice. It's definitely a popular spot to watch football with plenty of tvs. Was nice that they had charger outlets everywhere too.

One of my favourite spots in Little Italy. A great choice of draft beers on tap and you can try them out before buying your favourite one. A friendly and professional barman and a relaxed atmosphere. And a great food menu as well. And drinks and food are affordable.

Great place to watch a soccer game! It was 11am on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! Great energy and superb service. I’m pretty sure it was the owner or the manager (Irish guy) went above and beyond for us. I was there with my 5 month old baby, my wife and my father. I asked him to put on a local soccer game I wanted to watch and he was able to find a few tables and a tv and put the game on for us. Would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking to watch soccer and grab a cold pint of Guinness.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with open arms—not just by the friendly staff but by the regulars as well, creating an atmosphere that felt warm and genuinely inviting. As out-of-towners, it's always a bit intimidating to find a place that feels like home, but The Embassy made us feel like locals from the start. We grabbed a couple of beers and ordered the fish and chips, which were nothing short of fantastic. The fish was perfectly battered, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, and paired wonderfully with golden fries. It’s clear they put care into their food. It’s not just about the drinks, though—this place has a vibe that’s tough to beat. The combination of great food, a stellar selection of beers, and the genuine hospitality from both staff and patrons made our visit memorable. We left feeling like we'd found a true gem in Chicago, and we can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town. Highly recommended.

I came here with two of my friends for a USMNT match last week, and it was well worth the drive from Antioch. It’s nice to be among other soccer fans with the game on multiple TVs, instead of begging the manager to put the game on for you in a corner somewhere. What’s even better is enjoying a Guinness that didn’t arrive in an ice-cold glass.The shepherds pie and wings were great, too. The best part was the owner, and how often do you hear that? He wasn’t just in the building. He worked the room. He interacted with all his patrons. Everyone, us included, were made to feel like welcome, long-time friends (and I’d never seen this gentleman before). It truly is an English pub, not some run-of-the-mill sports bar where no one knows your name, all the beers are light, and a beer glass freezes to your hand. Probably the best pint of Guinness this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Cozy pub good for conversation or to catch a game. Located in a very cool diverse neighborhood. Staff are extremely friendly and superior with their service. Menu has a small variety but very delicious, I highly recommend the Irish Breakfast and the dry-rub Chicken wings but not together at the same time. Cheers, cannot wait to get back.

We recently went to the Embassy Public House to support the Celtic F.C. First time here and it was a super positive experience. Food was good, beer was cold and the server was very good. It was a ton of fun to watch the Celtic F.C. in this bar as the fans were great and enthusiastically broke into chants and songs during game play. We will be back for more Celtic games.

Cozy little spot to grab good beer. Staffers are always friendly. They're a solid spot to watch Leeds United in particular. They'll play all Premier League games, rugby games, and football as well. Love the pub atmosphere. Go in, and grab a pint!

Fantastic service, lovely patio, comfy surroundings. Proper pours of Guinness and a decent food menu; big fan of their brunch sandwiches during the football. This is where I come for Celtic FC games. The owner and staff are awesome and I always find myself staying a while longer than planned for the craic. I only wish I lived a wee closer!

Came here to explore a new sports bar in our new neighborhood of Little Italy. It is super cute pub, restaurant, and sports bar all in one. They have a back booth restaurant area, a back patio for summer time, and a good size full bar with multiple TVs. The owner introduced himself and was charming and welcoming. The staff were great, friendly, attentive, and efficient. He said because they are a restaurant, family and pets (dogs) are welcome inside and in the patio. The noise level was not bad at all for a sports bar especially NFL playoff week. The full bar had good options and I had well made cocktails. I had to try the food, so I got the grilled chicken sandwich, it came on a pretzel bun. It was good to order, hot, and juicy. The side of fries made it perfect proportion for 1. Definitely a great find in little Italy!

They pour a nice Guinness here. The owner and bartenders are very nice and work hard. I've only had the food once but it was very good and most people come for the food so I think it must be good.

Perfect pour Guinness(es). Irish breakfast is delicious. I don't know if it's 100% authentic or whatever blah blah blah but I love breakfast served anytime and this one was damn delicious. Getcha sum.

The owner is always in here making sure everything is going good! The wings are delicious and the fish and chips are incredible. Great drinks and great vibes! Highly recommend this place

Stopped in for a quick brunch. Ate at the bar. The food and service were great. The bartender gave me good advice on beer and food. I will definitely be back.

First time at Embassy. Great pub in Chicago. The food was great. Had breakfast there. Irish breakfast served all day. It was great. I would recommend it highly. Whiskey selection is very good. Beers as well. Will be back soon.

Great place to watch sports, eat bar food and drink cold beer. Paul and his staff were amazing and accommodating. They made me feel comfortable with asking questions about the everything. The volume was loud enough to listen to what was going on without overpowering conversations or the ambiance of the bar vibe.

The Embassy is a gem! Great staff and atmosphere. Great for large groups. I reserved their back room for a birthday party the food and drinks were excellent everyone had a great time. Their patio in the summer is epic. Sports fans won't be disappointed, TVs all over the bar. Paul you rock! Thanks to you and your team for treating me and my 40 guest so well. Cheers!

Walked into this place on a Wednesday night for a quick beer and I think this might be my new go to Irish bar. Great bar. Awesome bartenders. Cold Guinness. Good vibes here. I will definitely be back.

Great bar that just opened on Taylor Street. They host Barcelona FC games and serve Estrella Beer, which is really important. Aside from their Estrella Beer, they still have a decent offering of beer. I didn't eat any food while I was here, so I can't comment on that. Gotta love the fact that they're willing to host Barcelona fans during Barca games. They set aside the entire back room and can accommodate 50+ fans. That's not easy to do and they handled it with no problem. Will definitely be back.

The Guinness pour is the best in the city! Paul is a consummate barkeep and an overall great guy. Lots of tvs playing any/all sports. Have been here many times and will continue to come back!

Visited on football Sunday. Very friendly bar tenders. Lots of TV's. Large variety of Beers on Tap, and their burger was pretty good.

Fairly new Irish Pub in Little Italy. Probably the most authentic Pub in Chicago. Irish owned and operated. Food is amazing. Early soccer opening schedule and tons of TV's. Summer patio as well.

Excellent service & yummy food. My wife and I walked up and down Taylor street searching restaurants on yelp for a winner and stumbled upon this low key place. My wife had the impossible burger (not meat) and I had the bacon hamburger w/ waffle fries. Food was very tasty and cooked just right. There are a ton of drink options available on Tap and a full liquor menu to choose from. My wife isn't a big cider lover but the one she tasted here she loved (Aspall Dry English Cider) would definitely recommend this place to eat, drink, and be happy!! I also have plans to revisit again with some friends in the near future!!

Waay overpriced drinks. 4 vodka's $62 dollars and not a full pour. Even the bartender apologized. Another Bullshit place.

I am a HUGE fan of the Embassy - had a wonderful server named Cassie who was extremely kind. Great service - DEFINITELY on my "return to" list. Paul's generosity is UNMATCHED!!

My partner and I just stumbled upon this bar on a Sunday afternoon and it's delightful. The bartender and owner were incredibly nice and welcoming. Great selection of ciders and beers, cute patio and love that the windows open up so we could sit inside but have a nice breeze. All new customers get a shot of Jamison which was fun. They play all the possible sports games you could ever want to see so we'll definitely be back for football season.

A great traditional Irish Pub. Fantastic service, a big selection of beer, ciders, seltzers, and wine as well as a full bar. A great place to catch the game with TVs everywhere. The owner and bartenders were all very friendly. The front windows open which is awesome on nice days. They also have a back patio with TVs. Would definitely recommend this spot to grab a drink.

Had such a good time sitting at the bar, listening to locals colorful banter and enjoyed being served by John who is simply a treasure. Had the fish and chips with fantastic tartare sauce, green peas - you gotta try it - amazing! And the malted vinegar as a condiment made me all warm and fuzzy. Also the freshest pint of Guinness this side of the pond. Delightful find!

Great Irish vibe and Guinness on tap. Really enjoyed the intimate setting. Didn't realize how cool it was inside from the exterior.

Probably the best Irish Pub in Little Italy! Definitely the MOST Irish pub in Little Italy. Great Guinnesses and amazing Irish themed breakfasts! Great staff, and even nicer customers! This is a great place to watch Premier League, Rugby Union or even the NFL. Bob R.

This place is great. Whether you are looking for a pint or to get your belly full - they will get you take care of. Waitress/Waiters will have a conversation if you'd like. I even saw the owner wiping down tables and cracked some jokes with our party. I will be coming back. God bless you, Embassy!
