The Exchange Pickleball + Bar

I played at The Exchange for the first time at one of their $9 Friday open play days, and I’m glad to say that my experience here has been pretty great! Service was nice and chill. The person at the front desk gave me a brief tour of the place since it was my first time there, so I really appreciated that. The inside decorum was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The courts were nice as well. They also have food and drinks for you to purchase which is pretty cool. Excluding the deals, The Exchange is on the pricier side, but you do get what you pay for. The only small downside is that it’s street parking, but you can easily find parking in the area as there are tons of spaces available to park at. Overall, The Exchange is a pretty chill pickleball spot!

A must-visit spot for pickleball in New Orleans! I stopped by Exchange Pickleball + Bar during a work trip to New Orleans and joined the 12pm–3pm open play, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment I arrived, the environment was welcoming, and it was easy to jump right into games. I was able to play consistently the entire session, with a perfect mix of competitive matches and friendly regulars who made the experience even better. The facility itself is fantastic — the courts are well maintained, the layout is clean and inviting, and the overall atmosphere strikes a great balance between serious play and social fun. It’s clear this place has built a strong pickleball community where players of all backgrounds can feel comfortable and challenged. What stood out most was how inclusive and engaging everyone was. Even as someone visiting from out of town, I immediately felt like part of the group. That says a lot about the culture they’ve created here. Anytime I return to New Orleans, I’ll absolutely be bringing my paddle and making this a regular stop. Highly recommend to both locals and visitors looking for great pickleball, great people, and a great overall experience.

I hosted a party at The Exchange for about 40 people this weekend and the whole experience was outstanding. The venue was perfect for our group which included a lot of kids and teenagers. Renée, the owner and her staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating with every request we had. The food from Elliott's was outstanding as well. Chef Matt's red beans and rice impressed us all, but actually, every dish was superb. Ready to go back for more!

I called ahead and spoke with Doug to book open play, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. I'm in New Orleans for business, and this was the perfect break. The owner, Renée, was incredibly kind and so much fun to play with. Great atmosphere, welcoming players, and an all-around awesome pickleball spot. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in town!

Wow! We came from New York and didn’t expect such an organized group of competitive players, owners who bend over backwards to make you happy and a bar in the middle of the courts with art work adorning the walls!!! What a great place to play when in from out of town, and just minutes from the French Quarter. Loved it here!!

I’ve played at The Exchange dozens of times over the past couple of years and have always had a great experience. I competed in a tournament this past Saturday and Sunday, and when I arrived Sunday morning, I realized I did not have my paddle. Not only did the staff let me borrow the same paddle to play with that day, but they went above and beyond to help me track mine down. Jason took the time to review security footage and was able to identify the person who accidentally took it. We got in touch, and my paddle was returned to me. Huge shoutout to Jason and the entire team for their outstanding service and support!

You're probably looking for a comment on the facilities, which don't get me wrong, are awesome, but I'm here to tell you (perhaps unbelievably) that this place is home to one of the best burgers I've had in the NOLA greater metro area. I'm not sure if that's a comment on the hipster burger places that seem to be the only option around here (looking at you, Company Burger) or maybe I'm just still reeling from how good this burger really was. Regardless, it looks like there's more to look forward to than pickleball when you make a trip to The Exchange, or rather, "THEXCHANGE" as it's stylized in the logo.

Fantastic place with beautiful courts, great food and drink and run by fabulous people! We were visiting from out of town and set up a group play with instruction here - every single person at The Exchange was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help us. And the food served here is outstanding! 100% recommend.

Very fun and reasonably priced indoor bar & pickleball courts just outside downtown NOLA. The staff were nice. The facilities were well kept. Their TVs have professional pickleball playing for inspiration. You can rent paddles and balls if needed. Happy hour is every day 3-6pm. A kitchen is available, but I didn't try any food. The courts are positioned well with the bar in the middle so that folks can socialize off the court while still watching the games and easily rotate onto the court. I saw one person doing pickleball lessons.

Me and a few of my family members came to New Orleans for the weekend and the Exchange only had 1 open play during the time we were available and it was for Advanced Beginners. Most of us are actually intermediate and when we got there, so were several other players, however, none of us seemed to mind playing with people that were either higher or lower level than us. I think there was only 1 person there that wasn't too friendly. They have a paddle stacking system and open play was on two courts. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to us. The interior is gorgeous - 6 indoor and 1 outdoor courts, a bar, kitchen, ping pong table and plenty of seating. The inside looks a little small for large parties - outside might be more accommodating. I'm from Texas, so we're used to big spaces! For sure we will be back next time we come to NOLA!

Pickleball and a bar all under one A/C'd roof? I'm down! My husband and I witnessed firsthand a Pickleball session on a cruise 2 years ago when we saw a couple playing on a reserved court. Time on the court had to be scheduled and unfortunately we snoozed on planning it out. As we watched this couple enjoy play, we vowed to seize the next opportunity. While vacationing in NOLA I typed in "Pickleball courts" on Yelp. Lo and behold, The Exchange popped up and it was less than a half hour from our hotel in the Warehouse District. We scheduled a Learn to Play session with an instructor. Unfortunately, the instructor assigned to our small group class of 6 bailed out on us. We had an evening class that was supposed to start at 5:30pm. It was already half past so their GM (Ray) stepped in and taught us the basics. Ray overall was an awesome trainer. He drilled us on the basic skills, was very patient with us and provided pointers on how to perfect stance and technique. We had a great time and went away with a bit of knowledge and appreciation for the game. I would love to see something like this in the Midwest. If you're a Pickleball fan or are curious about the sport, check The Exchange out.

If you are traveling for work and need a spot to get a couple good games in, then is is definitely the place to go. You can't beat the fact it's indoor with AC! Btw: the owner and the staff are simply fantastic!

One of the finest pickleball establishments around! There are 6 indoor courts and an outdoor court that you can rent. The indoor courts are clean, nicely paved and the balls have a nice bounce to them. The nets are permanent and sturdy so they do not use rollaway nets here. There are a few bars and tv's that make this place nice for parties and just hanging out in general. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

PICKLEBALL!!!!! There are six indoor AIRCONDITIONED pickleball courts that you can rent for a set amount of time. You can also rent paddles or bring your own. It's a very chill but fun environment. Pickleball rental is kind of expensive though compared to other spots in the area but honestly might be worth it for the AC. They also have a food menu and a full bar! The menu is like elevated bar food with some interesting twists. Booze menu prices are pretty reasonable! I tried the strawberry citrus sangria and it was pretty good. I'd like to try their other cocktails.

Played all over country. This is by far the best facility I have played in. Great food and drinks. Well run. Super inclusive. Good games at any level. Indoor / outdoor. Owners were fabulous. Worth every penny. NOLA rocks. Mahalo.

We had a blast. The owner Renee was extremely nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend anybody who wants to play pickleball in New Orleans to visit this location. Must visit If you want to work on your skills or just have some fun.

I can't say enough about the facility and the staff at The Exchange. I traveled from CA for a fun weekend in NOLA and wanted to play while I was visiting. My Dad and I showed up last minute with no court booking or plan (which I don't recommend, for what it's worth) , but despite the place being very busy the staff could NOT have been more accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond to get us on the courts and squeeze us in between lessons/private bookings happening. Additionally, the space is amazing and well-designed. The bar/lounge area is laid out perfectly between all the courts, a great place to relax and have a beer after (or during!) play. It was raining so we could not utilize the outdoor area but it looks like a great vibe out there as well. As someone who has been to various "Pickleball Bars" including Chicken N Pickle, The Exchange is a top tier space and great edition for the pickleball scene in New Orleans.

Great P'ball facility. They limit the # of players so you're pretty much playing constantly while you're there. Good level of play and great court conditions. Nice running it too.

I love coming to The Exchange for the open play pickleball! It is $16 for I think 2.5 hours and separated by skill level. They also do court rental. They have 6 indoor courts and 1 outdoor court. The ambiance here is great! It is super clean and has nice courts and a bar/seating area and the staff is very friendly and welcoming to new people. I haven't tried the food but I would definitely recommend coming for an open play our get some friends for a court rental.

We love the exchange and you will too. This is friendly open pickleball community for open play with plenty of courts if you just want to play with your friends. The bar has plenty of great options with awesome service every time. The pickle pro even dropped in to our match for a few coachable moments! I love the to play pickleball her with friends, strangers and family! The venue has a fun vibe too!

This is a Pickleball venue first and foremost. The bar and food meet basic needs. It has neither the setting or the vibe for a pub night or quiet evening. If you and your date play pickleball then this is your spot!

We had our daughter's destination wedding in NOL. Pickle ball is a family event so we all headed to The Exchange. The were so warm and so helpful. The espresso martini was delicious. The food was awesome. It was such a fun place. The place is super clean. The courts are super new.

Attended a team building event at The Exchange and all I can say is just WOW! The facility is first class, the food was really good and the staff was amazing. Would highly recommend The Exchange. Terri, the pro gave us instructions, Eric, the manager handled all of our needs and Renee the owner worked with our organization to make it a memorable event.

This new pickleball venue is phenomenal. Brand new facility with everything one could want. Great bar and food and superior customer service. Absolutely love this place great vibe to hang out, always a great experience. Great outdoor spaces to chill or play!

We had such a fun corporate event here at the exchange. Good drinks, fun atmosphere! The staff are friendly!

Came here to watch college football in their fabulous outdoor space! Was perfect for what we were looking for - sound for the game was ON, food was REALLY good and we were even able to get in some pickleball at the adjacent court at halftime. Will be back again for sure - 10 out of 10 recommend!
