I loved the flowers out front and I thought the store was great but some of the items are prohibitively expensive... for example, a jar of local jam cost $12. As a comparison just down the road at Star Market, a jar of Gizditch jam costs $7...still crazy for a jar of jam but I do occasionally get one. Great place though and I recommend to visit.

Nice selection of organic fruit and veggies, expect high quality and prices. Decided to splurge on an apple 🍏 pie as well as a chicken 🐔 and bacon 🥓 pot pie, which are a few lbs each. Having lighter appetites, we split 1/4 of the apple pie for lunch, and it was plenty, close to 3" high in the center, perfectly cooked with thin apple slices and sweetened just right, and an excellent crust. Worth a try. Also, nice rows of fresh flowers 💐 available for sale, great variety. There is a Gift shop too. Clerks could be friendlier.

Saw a Facebook post for u-pick flowers. Came on a Saturday around 11. It is open for U-pick flowers 10-1. They have a paved driveway and a small parking lot. Not sure where overflow parking would be. We had no issues. Walk through the cute shop that has veggies and other items. They have freshly baked pies too! We got just a slice of apple to try out. Whole pies are quite expensive so we wanted to taste first. You pay inside the store for the u-pick flowers. We did the $20 for a handful bunch. You walk outside and head over to a cart they have setup. You can bring your own shears and bucket if you want. Then pick away! My daughter was walking around for an hour making her bunch. She will dry or press to preserve them.

I love stopping by The Farm in Salinas. Especially on a pretty day! On Tuesdays they have fresh pot pies and Fridays fresh pies. They also have fresh pies that have been frozen! They sell beautiful veggies, flowers and fruits. They have the CUTEST Giftshop inside The Farm's Market where you can find some local vendors products and so many precious items for that special gift! They sell Lulu's chocolates too!! They have a little goat, hen and duck observation area. And do reading time for kids on certain days. Sometimes depending on the season they have pick your own flower event. If you haven't checked them out you should!

Google
So much fun and reasonable priced organic produce. Check their great story time schedule for kids. Their bathrooms are really clean too.

Google
Fresh produce, pies, and gifts make this a lovely place to stop by. I had a lovely time going to one of the days they had fresh flower picking times. During pumpkin season, they have a pretty expensive pumpkin patch and fun activities for the families.

This place is *WONDERFUL.* Chris & his wife Renata put their heart and soul into a truly "family friendly" experience. The pies are epic & the source local & always fresh produce. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Loved this farm. Our family with 6 kids enjoyed the kid toys, strawberries, painting, goats, flower picking and cow ride. Pies and more fresh produce too!

Miguel B.

Yelp
Nice farm. Good for kids to play and have a good time. Good choice of organic vegetables and fruits.

Yelp
This is an adorable and delightful spot to visit with little kiddos! We came on a Wednesday morning while story time was happening. All the staff we interacted with were warm, friendly, and helpful. They patiently answered questions we had. I enjoyed browsing the store that had a variety of items--produce, pies, toys, books, soaps, kitchen items, decor, clothing, & so many more random finds! I walked away with a bunny figurine and a bag of yummy chocolate chip cookies. Our little one thoroughly enjoyed seeing & petting some of the animals--rabbits, chickens, water fowl, and goats. You can pay to get a little cup of greens to feed the goats. There are many cute photo ops for kids, such as with the animals, on a tiny tractor, in front of a truck, with a windmill in the background, or by the verdant fields. We saw there was a little cow train that was in the field as well. There are tables with umbrellas & restrooms. It's a super cute experience & a pleasant way to spend some time.

Yelp
Very good chicken pot pie. Next time I will try the beef pie. Haven't tried the fruit pies.

Yelp
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The turkey dinner pot pie was very good. I'm definitely going back to try the other pot pies.

Yelp
My family has been coming here for years and I was so excited to bring my one and only to continue the tradition of picking a pumpkin. It was an hour drive from San Jose but worth it. I love that it is low key but cute and has everything you need without it being overwhelming. It is open year round so I need to make an effort outside of autumn. We arrived on a Saturday at 10 (opening time) and lasted 1 hour. My son loved the little tractors and looking at the farm animals so close up. His favorite was riding in the wagon and touching things like dirt and pumpkins. He found his pumpkin and loved roaming the gift shop. I loved the slice of blackberry pie which had an almost sweet biscuit topping. My husband loved the apple pear pie. We saw a floral arrangement class going on that looked fun. Support local organic farmers! It was a 25 min drive from here to the wharf afterwards for lunch but when we left at 11, the food trucks were starting to show up. Can't wait to come back next fall so my son can ride the cow train!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun to walk around with the kids. Great photo ops with kids. Mini tractors to sit on for the kids. Animals to see: goats, bunnies, chickens. Lovely store to buy homemade pies and cookies; organic fruits and veggies. And lots of flowers to pick, and a pumpkin patch. Tractor cow ride around the fields ($5). Fantastic, friendly staff in a beautiful setting.

Yelp
Came for the U Pick Flowers and for $21 it's a great experience! They provide you with a bucket and shears and lots of beautiful flowers to choose from. Would advise on bringing gloves and watch out for the bees! Was a little bummed with their produce as it's quite expensive. Picked up a half flat of strawberries and though I thought the season was done, they are so sweet and luscious! Also picked up a box of their soft heirloom tomatoes for $10! Fun time for families and friends!

Yelp
Expensive!! I was disappointed at the prices here, Pies for nearly $30?? Small basket strawberries $6... It's like Tourist prices, essentially.

Yelp
Took the whole family today and really enjoyed ourselves. The good: Petting zoo, story time, pumpkin patch, you pic flower fields, goats/chickens/bunnies/ducks. Plenty to do. There was a cute store and other fresh food to purchase but my kids were really hyper so I elected to the leave that for another day. Bathroom on site (not sure about changing table//forgot to look). This place has amazing pie you could buy it by the slice!! I think that they did a great job with parking and organization-- there was a ton to do and a ton of people but it never felt crowded or overwhelming. There is a cart for pumpkins (like to take to the field//load//pay//take to your car)-- which was a lifesaver since we have soooo many kiddos. ALSO. Great customer service. One of our pumpkins was soft and the gentleman alerted us and ensured that we didn't leave with a crap pumpkin. The bad: The road coming in/going out isn't made for 2 way traffic so proceed with caution. The petting zoo signs were a little confusing- we weren't totally sure if WE couldn't pet the bunnies OR if they just want personal PETS (like dogs) to not be around the animals. But. To be clear. None of this stuff took away from our experience. To consider: I think parking mighhhttt be dicey if you show up after 11ish (especially because it's pumpkin season). Overall great experience. 10/10 would pumpkin again.

Yelp
Visited the Farm on a weekend morning/afternoon. The drive to get over here is positively scenic and provides great contrast to the coastline, Monterey has the best views. When I saw the beautiful U-Pick Flowers I couldn't help myself. Afterwards I stopped into the barn to pick up a pie. They have lots of options but opted for the strawberry olallieberry crumb for it's fun, unique name. Came home to clean/cut and arrange the flowers and had a slice of pie. It was a great balance of sweet and tart. Though the bottom crust wasn't as cooked through as I usually like, the crumb topping had good texture. These pies are not cheap, they run about $31 after tax. But if you have extra money to blow, this is a beautiful place with great hospitality.

Yelp
I love this place. The fruit is amazing and the chicken pot pie is to die for!! I cannot wait to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
The Bunny Farm is a local treasure. They grow amazing lettuce, strawberries and flowers and bake very special pies. They have a full produce selection however and usually have some animals for the children to see. Highly recommend a visit!

Liz C.

Yelp
Excellent pies! The story time for kids I just love them as much as the pizza! Everyone is so nice there. I'll miss the time when they'll be closed@

Yelp
Had a wonderful visit with my mom and two little kids. Staff was so warm and welcoming! Got a pot pie for dinner and it was delicious
google avatar

Yelp
The chicken pot pie with bacon So delicious, and the crust is light, fluffy, and heaven sent. This is the best pot pie I've ever had

Raymond H.

Yelp
They have lots a great produce at reasonable prices. But their chicken pie is the best I have ever had and chicken pies are one of my favorite dishes. The vegetables are fresh and bright and with lots of of large chucks of breast meat. And the crust is to diet for. We plan to serve them to our family over the holidays. And they can be frozen for up to two months.
google avatar

Nan C.

Yelp
I have a deep appreciation for the ambiance and a strong desire to show my support for local farms. However, I find it somewhat extravagant to spend $21.76 solely on these particular stone fruits.
google avatar

Kurstin T.

Yelp
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I have NEVER been disappointed with the produce. There strawberries are the best I have ever had!!! Highly recommend trying them if you haven't already. The pies they made are fantastic. Basically anything you try will not disappoint!!!!

Yelp
Didn't buy anything because what we were looking for they did not have, 5 stars is for the atmosphere and pumpkin display. We also met a kind man who stopped to talk with my husband and I, he spoke about how long this place has been up and running and about the community. I believe he may have been the owner
google avatar

Yelp
This place is the CUTEST! You can see it from the freeway/highway. We just stopped by for the gift shop because we wanted some fresh fruits on the way to our destination. If I lived next door to this place, I would buy all my vegetables and fruits from here. Even CHEESE!!! They have some bunnies and chickens outside the gift shop which my little one enjoyed. The outside patio is super clean and super cute. I opted in for strawberries which were SWEET. It was so delicious! I cannot even describe it properly. I tasted the difference between a store bought strawberries and strawberries from The Farm. My husband bought a couple of peaches. He told me as well that they were super delicious. I wish I had bought some more fruits and a few things to make fresh salsa. Sadly, I couldn't. It would probably have gone bad in my car. The salsa, I bet, would have tasted close to magic. They also have fresh homemade pies which was scrumptious. I know they also have tours, but we weren't able to because they didn't offer at the time. They also have events on certain days. You guys, I know it seems I'm exaggerating, but this place is incredible! This is definitely a place to stop if you're ever around the area or if it's on your way to your destination. This is definitely a place I'll stop by again the next time I'm around.

Gin C.

Yelp
We stopped by looking for local produce. There is small amount but large variety of produce planted just behind the farmhouse. We had just gone to the farmers market so we didn't get anything.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing. The fruit is so delicious and they even had pie for me to purchase for my husbands birthday. Their veggies are super crisp and everything just tastes better coming from the shop. I love they have little odds and ends to purchase as well. Love this place!

Yelp

Yelp
This is the best pie place in the area. We picked up an apple pie the other day and it was soooo delicious. Piled high with thinly sliced apples, just the right amount of sweet and cinnamon and then the flakey, buttery crust...yummy. Pro tip is warm up the pie and serve with vanilla ice cream; it's worth the calories and splurge!
google avatar

Mariela D.

Yelp
This place is so adorable. I came here last Saturday for their last season of flower picking. For $20 a bucket you get to fill it up with fresh flowers. They had a large selection of wild flowers. Then i finished of my flower picking with a fresh berry piece of pie. It was so good. They have a large selection of fresh organically grown produce. Will definitely return for the pumpkin patch.
google avatar

Yelp
We made a stop at The Farm coming back from the Steinbeck Center. It was in the morning during the week and there was an abundance of elementary schools there for field trips. I was impressed with the organization with which The Farm conducts these visits. You could tell the children were learning from the farm facts presented to them in the produce market. Being as it's pumpkin season it is an incredible place for pumpkin patch pix and is just very photogenic in general. Lots of photo ops! Great organic produce at a fair price.
google avatar

Meredith B.

Yelp
I'd driven by The Farm a bunch when I moved down here and had absolutely no idea what I was in for when I decided to stop by on a Friday. Much to my surprise it was fresh baked pie day and I was in for a treat! They have the cutest little store with pies, produces and small gift area. The pies are amazing and now I try to go there as often as possible to pick one up for the weekend! This is a great place to bring young families as they also have a petting zoo and a bunch of events geared toward families. They also have flower picking days where you can pick your own flowers which is pretty cute too. I can't say enough about this place. It's such a treasure.

Kym L.

Yelp
We have stopped here twice now on our back from L.A. to the San Francisco area. Love that their produce is local, fresh and organic!!! This last stop we got the veggie pot pie, unfortunately it was way too hot when we got home to turn the oven on so we had to wait a day to eat it and it was still too hot so we had to microwave it. Still tasted delicious it I'm sure it would've been much better to have done it in the oven.

Louie P.

Yelp
We have done flower picking here, got pumpkins but the best is when we go just to grab some great goodies!! The pies and produce are fresh and delicious
google avatar

Yelp
The Farm is a great place. This is only our second experience with CSA boxes and The Farm makes it an adventure. The folks are all friendly, the produce is beautiful and delicious, and the prices reasonable. Buying Organic a la carte is a bit on the pricey side, but my box is very reasonable and, like I said, an adventure in food every other week. We decided to buy one box first to see if we liked it and our first one had Red and Green leaf lettuce, Beets, Green Onion, and Strawberries among other things. The Strawberries didn't last the night; so fresh and sweet with Sour Cream and Brown Sugar. The Beets allowed me to try my little Microwave Pressure Cooker. They are perfectly sweet and just the right texture. The Beet greens also wilted just like Collards when sautéed. We decided that we loved the experience, so we have since signed up for four boxes (every other week, because there's only two of us and SO much produce). It's been 3 boxes and I haven't thrown anything away yet. So far I've made a Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, Garlic Sautéed Beet Greens, a couple of Caesar Salads, Southern Fried Zucchini, Pickled Beets, Roasted Garlic and my new favorite use for Eggplant, Involtini di Melanzane (Eggplant Rollups). My wife and I have both been told to eat fewer carbs to avoid diabetes, and this is the best way to ensure we eat well. So glad we found the farm!

Yelp
Great place for families. I recommend shopping, there are always new things in stock from gifts to fresh produce. Kids love the animals & tours around the property. If you haven't picked your pumpkin yet this is a great place to go.
google avatar

Yelp
This place always has quality produce grown on sight as well as amazing fresh chicken pot pies and other pies to choose from! I would highly recommend this place to any person driving by or local. They are a family run business and have everything to be proud of! Thanks guys

Yelp
Wow! What a wonderful place. Wonderful, organic and fresh produce. Friendly staff and beautiful stetting. I am so grateful to live just 10 min away.

Yelp
I was first introduced to the farm on a preschool field trip in 2009 and I've been going back ever since. Each year since then, my children have gone on field trips here. We also shop here. Last year I participated in their CSA produce box program. It was a great experience and a good value. My favorite thing about the farm though is the super sweet organic freshly picked strawberries. My daughter and I stopped there the other day to pick up some snacks for the afternoon and I wish I had bought more strawberries or stopped on our way home to get some more. I kept daydreaming about those strawberries!!! They have a cute little selection of gift type items as well. Many items are geared towards kids, but there's selection for the grown ups as well. If you are an educator in the area looking for a field trip option, I highly recommend. They really cater to the age of the kids and are very generous with their time. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful. I also have to mention their pies. WOW! I also I had this apple cake in my CSA box last year. I was hesitant because fruit in cake is not really my thing, but it was heavenly. If you are looking for organic produce, again - I highly recommend. If you are looking for CSA opportunities, I highly recommend. If you are looking for strawberries, I suggest shopping no where but here!!!!

Muffin T.

Yelp
We've been buying pies and so many other great things from this place for 15+ and still the best pies I've ever had. The spiced pumpkin pie and maple custard pecan are AMAZING!! The staff are always nice and helpful. Definitely one of our family's favorite spot. Thank you Juliet!!!

Stacy K.

Yelp
By far the best pumpkin patch I have every been to. This farm is family owned and operated. I bought my 2 year old son and we had a fantastic time. Free admission, free puppet show, and free tractor ride (before 2pm). There is local produce and homemade pies for purchase as well as you pick flowers and pumpkins. This is a must visit in the Monterey, Carmel, Salinas area! We will be back thank you!!!
google avatar

Claudia V.

Yelp
Grew up in sunny California, Los Angeles to be exact. All those years my mother took me to pumpkin patches that were located in supermarket parking lots. Today, I experienced the real deal. A pumpkin patch at a real FARM! Took my 2 month old with my husband and as soon as we arrived we knew we were going to have a fun day. The entrance to the farm was a bit tricky since we were coming from Monterey, but we eventually found out of the Speckles exit. Parking was great. As soon as you walk up the farm you see a cute little store and the entrance to the pumpkin patch. Follow the trail and boom you are in pumpkin heaven! Big, small, fancy and even weird pumpkins filled the fields! After picking the right pumpkins we decided to check out the little store and there's organic fruit and vegetables and also lots of books for kids. We decided to get a berry/apple pie. By far the BEST pie I've had. Don't forget to take a pie home! We are definitely coming back next year when my daughter is a little bigger to try out the hay ride and cow train!

J R.

Yelp
This Place was a great place to visit They have yummy dessert they have punkins and animals to look at and a cute little shop and customer service For the pies you should order in advance because they go quickly. Come visit this place if you come to The Salinas area. The staff was super friendly and also got to meet the owner.
google avatar

Yelp
always helpful whether talking iver phone to place order or stopping by to make purchase. always order pies for the holidays when i can.

Yelp
Delicious Mix Berry Pie!! Fresh baked and Beautiful!! Worth the stop!!
google avatar

Viki D.

Yelp
Returned here several times recently. The prices are now competitive and the gift shop is amazing! This place shines as a special must do stop. The pies are legendary! The French mulled soaps are wonderful and last forever. Best place to grab a nostalgic kids toy or book too. Thanks The Farm!
google avatar

Venessa G.

Yelp
Adorable place. Great produce and fun activities for kids. I love bringing my boys here. They also have THE BEST strawberries in town!
google avatar

Jill O.

Yelp
MIXED BERRY PIE. You get the best of both worlds, cobbler and pie! This was hands down the best pie I've ever enjoyed! I am so glad I discovered this place! I can not wait to go back for a fresh baked pie! It will be difficult for me to try anything else.
google avatar

Sonimar V.

Yelp
I've been there for Story Time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and it so nice for kids and parents too. Songs, stories and fruity snack. Then go petting rabbits and goats. Buy some fresh products in the store. Also, we were there last Saturday for Puppets show, a free hayride and a cowtrain ride. It was so fun!! My little one and I enjoyed it so much.
google avatar

Neesh Q.

Yelp
Such a cute little farm! Sweet and simple, just like the name. My family and I spent a cozy afternoon on our way to Monterey and attended a fall event the farm was hosting. My 1.5 year old lost it when he saw the large bunnies and we spent some time cuddling and petting them. You can also use one of the many wagons to cart your kids around the perimeter of the farm and view the crops. They also have a really nice marketplace, with produce as well as rustic decor and gifts. I'm not exactly a person who envisions free time as hanging out with goats, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Time goes by slowly here, and your stay will be peaceful! Highly recommend.

Moni M.

Yelp
Love this place! The produce is excellent and they have the best pies!!! Their organic strawberries are incredible! We really miss the puppet shows and other family activities since the pandemic, but we're glad to still support this business.
