From the moment I arrived at The Fields, it was clear this wasn’t just a getaway—it was an experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and every single staff member made us feel less like guests and more like family. The hospitality here is truly exceptional; every detail is thought through with care and heart. The food deserves its own standing ovation—fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. Each meal felt like its own special event. I was lucky enough to experience a one-of-a-kind massage during our stay. The open-air cabin, with a gentle breeze drifting through and birds singing in the background, created such a peaceful setting—it felt like pure serenity. Between the stunning grounds, the cozy glamping experience, the incredible meals, and the heartfelt way the team treats you, The Fields is simply unforgettable. I can’t wait to return!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine, making me feel right at home. The food was exceptional—every meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious! You can feel the passion & care that Mindy puts into each dining experience. The amenities were top-notch, providing both comfort and convenience throughout the stay, and Keith & Dean helped make sure we were always well taken care of. Whether it was relaxing in the cozy spaces, enjoying the little details, or being taken care of by the attentive staff, everything exceeded my expectations, not to mention the phenomenal relaxation massages that Melanie & Shannon gave to our group; book a massage, you will be so happy you did! Truly an unforgettable experience, and I cannot wait to return and share this special place with my friends and colleagues. A special thank you to Tristy & Katelynn who organized our entire stay. We could feel all of the thought and hard work you put into making this such a memorable experience, I am beyond grateful!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat with delicious food and pretty paths and grounds to explore. Pick blueberries, enjoy the pool, buy some things in the cute little store, ride a bike, or get a massage in the spa cabin with the scent of the fresh lavender garden right outside the door. The basic tents have a magical lighted path at night. The Fields tents are perfect, and the cabins are charming, with a dinner plate sized rain shower head. Ingredients for smores delivered to your door at night. We enjoyed our stay at The Fields very much.

The Fields of Michigan is one of the most unique and peaceful escapes we have stayed at. Nestled in the outskirts of South Haven, this luxury glamping retreat was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The tents make you feel like you're staying in a boutique hotel under the stars, thoughtfully designed with cozy beds, high-end linens, private bathrooms, and stylish décor. The cozy fire pits with s’mores supplies made it easy to unwind and waking up to the sound of birds and sunlight streaming through the trees was magical. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable. Whether it was helping schedule spa treatments, arranging a farm-to-table dinner, or offering local tips, they went above and beyond. Perfect for a romantic getaway, girls’ weekend, birthday or anniversary celebration, or a solo retreat. The Fields of Michigan is a place where time slows down and every detail is designed for comfort and connection. An added bonus is they are pet friendly as well. Can’t wait to return.

What a spectacular stay! From the moment you arrive in the blueberry fields, you know you are somewhere special. The people, the food and sense of place all combine to make a really unique and fun destination. The tents are so much fun - sparkling clean and even air conditioned! And yes, a heater too. Bed is amazing - my kind of camping. Mandy runs the kitchen (or maybe the whole place!?) and makes the most amazing food in town - I would eat here even if I wasnt staying here - and, yes, tons of blueberries in many of the dishes of course. Karl met us at the car park with a golf cart, gave us a tour and got us settled in - super personal - he clearly cares about the area, the hotel and his guests - he is a local so I guess that makes sense! Only negative is the towels are hanging on hooks when you arrive in the tent - a little weird - they were clean of course!

From the moment we arrived at the Fields, it was clear we were in for something special. Nestled in the heart of nature, the Fields perfectly blends the beauty of the outdoors with the comforts of luxury. It’s the kind of place that makes you rethink what "camping" really means. Arrival and First Impressions: We were greeted warmly by the staff and the check-in was seamless! The Tent (or Should I say Suite?): We stayed in a "Fields Tent," and I have to say, I was blown away by how cozy and stylish it was. The bed was like something out of a boutique hotel—huge, comfortable, with high-thread-count sheets. The tent itself was much more spacious than I expected, with a chic wooden floor, plush rugs, and even a small seating area. The private outdoor seating area provided the perfect backdrop for morning coffee or an evening drink under the stars. The Dining Experience: The Fields has an on-site restaurant that serves gourmet farm-to-table meals. Chef Mindy prepared our meals, complete with wine pairings. The food was exceptional—each dish highlighted fresh, local ingredients, and it felt like a true celebration of the region. Activities: The resort offers a wide range of activities, and we made the most of every opportunity. We went on a bike ride with the provided bikes and the natural beauty of the area took center stage. There's also a spa on-site, which offers massages that can be enjoyed in the open air, surrounded by towering trees. The Overall Experience: What really stood out was the sense of peace and tranquility. The Fields is set in such an idyllic location, yet there’s no shortage of things to do. Whether it’s enjoying a peaceful evening by the campfire or exploring the surrounding nature, every moment felt like a chance to recharge and reconnect with the world around us. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a unique getaway that combines the best of nature and luxury, look no further than the Fields. It offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, and the memories we created there will definitely last a lifetime. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone seeking a little slice of nature without giving up comfort. 10/10, would absolutely return!

Our stay at the Fields of Michigan was absolutely unforgettable. We stayed in a gorgeous cabin surrounded by peaceful pines, with the scent of lavender in the air and beautiful trails for long, quiet walks. Blueberry picking was such a special experience, and the kids had the best time—especially with the s’mores by the fire at night! The cabin was stunning, the service was top-notch, and the staff made us feel so welcome. Pet-friendly too, which made it perfect for the whole family. We’re already planning our return!

Beautiful, peaceful place- straight out of a hallmark movie. Wonderful and friendly staff. We used the available bikes to take an easy ride into South Haven. We also ordered the grill your own dinner pack- the food was great and we had the best time grilling our dinner!

Yelp
Interesting experience. I went for dinner, food was underwhelming for the cost. I expected a bit more exciting food. Very different dining experience and the property was beautiful. I would probably go again, hopefully the food improves abit.

Yelp
I have wanted to stay here forever. From their photos on social media, it looks absolutely dreamy. Finally, my husband and I booked a stay here... with our little dog, Bella. I was so excited to finally spend the night here, but sadly, it did not live up to my expectations at all. With the prices at about $400 per night... I expect a luxury stay. This was not a luxury stay, and was more like basic glamping. I have been to numerous glamping resorts around the country, and this was honestly one of my least favorite ones. I think I'm so disappointed because the price point was so high. The interior design was minimal compared to photos I saw online. The photos I saw online didn't look like our tent at all. The shower was honestly a joke. The bottom of the shower just felt like I was standing on a flimsy piece of plastic. It was moving all over the place, and there was no cover to the shower. We visited in the fall time, so I was freezing because there was no shower door or curtain. And when we were in bed, it was a constant battle to keep all the Daddy Long Legs off of our covers. There is not a good closure on the tents, so we had a lot of bugs in our tent. And the reason I have a problem with this is because I'm paying about $400 per night... and I should have a lot more luxury experience for that price. And to add on top of that, the string lights by our tent didn't work at all. Sadly, I will not come back here, and I won't recommend this place to anyone. There are a lot of other glamping resorts I would recommend to people in Michigan.
