"In Glen Ellen at the Fig Café, the three-course menu is $42 and includes dishes such as heirloom tomato tart with parmesan and arugula; Mt. Lassen trout, pearl barley, roasted onions, and basil pistou; and lemon butter cake for dessert. The team even uses its downtown-adjacent Sonoma catering space for themed pop-up events like Fried Chicken Night, BBQ, or Italian. Called Suite D, it’s all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink (beer and wine) with gratuity included for $45." - Christina Mueller

We weren't sure what to expect, we're staying overnight in Glen Ellen and chose the Fig almost at random. It is an absolute gem. The food was outstanding. Get the duck fat potatoes to start, they are a must-have. I had the pork sago as my main and it is out-of-this-world good, deep rich flavors. I'd come back just to eat that again. The pizza and King Salmon were really good too. The wine list is small, but full of excellent local bottles. The servers were friendly and helpful. The decor is fun and welcoming. The only slight letdown was the caramel compote desert, which was merely very good - a little too sweet and slightly cloying. But, don't worry, the brown sugar buttermilk cake was outstanding. We'll definitely be back.

As usual, a truly amazing restaurant with sensational food and amazingly warm welcome. Two years later… so good to be back to our favorite restaurant in Glen Ellen. Really enjoyed the delicious food and great service. A tad disappointed that there is now a corking fee! Pre-Covid, we were used to bring our own wine knowing that it would not add to our bill. It was a unique feature to the fig cafe. We were a little disappointed to see a $15 corking fee added to our bill tonight. Not for the fee itself (what is $15 on a bill that is well over $200), but it is more for the principle. I would seriously recommend the fig cafe to go back to free corking, as it was pre-Covid.

Stumbled upon this absolute gem of a place while visiting Glen Ellen! The staff are SO friendly and accommodating. I immediately loved the homey vibe as well; it seemed like a lot of regulars came back to eat and were recognized by the staff. Highly recommend brown sugar buttermilk cake!! I’m not a cake person at all but I devoured this one.

Very friendly staff. The mashuroom pizza is amazing. It's one of the reasons to come back to Glen Ellen.

I like this place a lot. We stay at the Jack London Lodge when we are in the area, and the Fig is just around the corner. Menu tends to be on the lighter side - pizzas, etc - but you can get a heavier meal if you wish. Service is excellent, and the wines are local. It can get crowded, so booking ahead is advisable.

Brilliant set meal of the day. So good I asked for the menu to see if I could reproduce it at home. Also very friendly other diners. Really lovely evening. Unexpected decor, modern country..

Can't remember how many years we have been coming to the fig cafe. The menu does not change much, but the dishes are excellent and the service is always friendly. Great vibe at this place and Glen Ellen.

The white pizza with fig and pancetta should just be a permanent menu item as this was by far the best thing we ordered for dinner. My burger was really good, but copious amounts of garlic spread did come back to haunt me in the form of heartburn. But I'd probably eat it again if I'm in the area. They open bottles of wine which makes it a great place to enjoy at bottle you picked up at one of the nearby Vineyards. The staff was very nice, and helpful. Desert was mediocre.
